I had a wonderful experience dress shopping at Lovely Bride! My stylist Teresa was incredible. She had a critical eye that was helpful in selecting and narrowing dresses, she was extremely knowledgable about the inventory and brands. In addition, she was delightful and a wonderful hype girl. While I did not end up choosing a dress from Lovely Bride, Id recommend going and requesting to work with Teresa if you are looking for a relaxed & fun experience. The entire shop is well-run & while there were other brides having appointments, the experience felt personal and high-end.

We had the best experience at Lovely Bride working with Kelsey Johnson. Kelsey listened to the way I described what I liked and what I did not like about certain dresses, and was keen to the opinions of my party that joined for the appointment. She brought all of the dresses I had picked to try on from browsing online, and then pulled a dress that I never would have looked at. She asked if I wanted to try it just for something different, and the second I put it on I knew that it was the one, and so did everyone that was with me. Kelsey made for such an incredible experience at Lovely, giving us the time and space to think about the decision and truly enjoy the day. I could not have found my perfect dress without her!

By the time we tried Lovely Bride, we were completely worn out by wedding dress shopping. Lovely Bride was a breath of fresh air! Our consultant Kate was AMAZING. She went above and beyond to make sure that we had a comfortable, inclusive, and FUN experience! She had clearly done a lot of research into what we were looking for, and was very thoughtful in her suggestions and advice. I couldnt recommend Kate or Lovely Bride more highly -- thank you Kate!

A great, smooth, and stress-free experience. This was my first (and last) time wedding dress shopping. I found the one!In general – My appointment started and ended right on time (this was a Sunday morning, FYI). I tried on 6-7 dresses, then tried my top two dresses 2-3 different times. I didn’t feel rushed at all. The atrium feature is perfect for seeing your dress in natural light, especially if your wedding is outdoors like mine will be.Stylist – Kaitlyn was my stylist. She was patient, kind, and comforting. Kaitlyn pulled some of my favorites from the look book and when we narrowed down the style and designer I continuously gravitated towards, she pulled more dresses that I’ve never seen before and thought I’d like. And I ended up choosing one of them!Dresses – SO MANY AMAZING OPTIONS! I know this sounds obvious, but I would check out all the designers Lovely Bride sells and make sure you love at least one before setting up the appointment. I went into mine with that in mind and sure enough, I had a top three from that same designer. It was so nice to have options and it was very hard to choose what I loved the most, but eventually I did.

Went in over the weekend on the search for my wedding dress and said yes to a gorgeous gown and veil! My stylist Kelsey was seriously the BEST! Appointment started on time, she was so attentive and sweet.Originally before my appt lovely portal asks you to select your top 10 gowns you’d like to try on, Kelsey pulled two of these to start and would only keep two gowns in the room at a time. I found this to be extremely helpful in narrowing down what I liked/didn’t like without feeling overwhelmed. After the third dress, I tried on one more but knew the third dress was it! She took us to the atrium room and selected a gorgeous veil that went perfectly with my dress. She stepped aside and let me and my crew have our moment.Kelsey was extremely profesional the entire time and I thank her so much for making this experience so amazing.Can’t wait for my gown to come :)

My experience was truly LOVELY! Heather was my bridal stylist and she was so down to earth, helpful, calming and made me feel so comfortable and at ease! I really liked how each appointment had their own semi-private suites, giving you and your bride tribe some extra privacy! The atrium was gorgeous and really allows you to see what your dress looks like in natural like. Thank you Lovely Bride team for everything! ✨💛🥂

Kelsey was my stylist and she really did an incredible job reading the room. Afterwards, one of my guests even mentioned that after each dress, she took in that feedback to change directions. Kelsey picked out my dream dress and it is one I would never have picked out for myself. For that, I am super grateful. Things I would have changed are the size of the dressing rooms and the ventilation. A ceiling fan or a bigger space would have made it more comfortable. I will also add that I didnt realize we had gone over our 60mins so checking out felt a bit rushed but I think that is because there isnt a dedicated front desk person. Last thing is that I wish the appointment fee were applied to the gown if one is selected. Other boutiques do not charge to try on dresses - unsure if this is a Covid related fee or not.

Best experience ever!! Went to lovely knowing what I want and Kate, my stylist, was the best! Kate gave me options that I wanted to play with, but at the end we both knew what I had in mind. She was super positive & uplifting. I went over my appointment time and she never rushed me out or forced me into buying something. Highly recommend Lovely & ask for Kate!

Made an appointment and checked in on time. I wasn’t helped until over 20 minutes after my appointment time.Keep in mind they charge $25 to make an appointment.During the appointment Erica was helpful, and I found a dress I was interested in. She let me know she would text me the information about the dress shortly after the appointment.I have yet to receive it a week later.Why did I pay $25?Highly recommend going elsewhere. You’ll get better service at no charge.

I found my wedding dress here :) the person who helped us, Teresa, was SO helpful. She was great at helping me articulate what specifically I liked and disliked about each dress, and she wound up pulling the perfect dress that combined so many of the elements I had liked in other dresses into one piece. We loved the personal, quiet, relaxed setting. We highly recommend Lovely Bride!!

I have been engaged since December of 2020 and have been trying to plan the wedding for July of 2022. I waited for a few months before looking for my dress because I wanted to focus on things that were getting booked fast. Once I started looking a quickly realized how indecisive and difficult it was to find a dress I LOVED enough to say YES. After 6 different locations and over 30 dresses later I was at my tipping point. I made a last minute appointment at Lovely bride while visiting NYC and from start to finish the process was not only efficient but the ladies there were all so nice and only wanted the best for each bride. I felt relaxed and taken care of. The first dress I tried on I knew was the one but I continued on trying on 6 more before finally saying yes. I highly recommend Lovely bride, their dress selection is timeless, modern and fun. They have options for everyone, you will absolutely enjoy your experience.

My experience was amazing at Lovely Bride. I was lucky enough to work with Julia and she was the perfect consult for me. Being that I am someone with indecisive tendencies, Julia was able to pull dresses and listen to my likes and dislikes. She gave her opinion and that was super helpful outside of my families. She was direct and worked with me to find the perfect dress. I was relieved to have been able to work with Julia as I struggled in other bridal boutiques. The dresses at Lovely Bride are all so beautiful and a great selection. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I truly recommend Lovely Bride for all brides.

I loved it here and picked my dress! I had no success at 3+ other stores and was recommended here by a very large bridal store in the city. Heather was so kind and a good listener. With every dress, she listened to what I did & did not like and brought only the dresses that fit my criteria. Once I found the one I loved - she gave us 10 minutes alone to let me look at it in a larger mirror, walk around and discuss. The portal makes it very easy to purchase! Overall, great experience and I highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about this store. They have the most gorgeous selection of gowns and the nicest staff. My consultant, Emily, was so personable and really took the time to go through my survey and picked up on my style instantly. Every selection she chose for me was one I could see myself in. I ended up leaving and coming back later in the day when i officially decided on the dress. They let me try on the dress again with another lovely consultant, Theresa (who was also incredible and so accommodating). The staff was just so incredibly friendly and helpful. I went to 3 other bridal stores, including Kleinfeld’s and this was by far the best experience. I love the way the store is set up, you have your own little viewing section, and then they have the back where you can see your dress in the sunlight, which NO OTHER STORE HAS, and really makes a difference when you are choosing your dress. Thank you Emily and Theresa for your time and help, and for letting me put the dress on three separate times !! I had a great and personal experience, thank you Lovely!

Cannot say enough about this place. Amazing staff, clean and organized show room, and always are extremely accommodating! I was nervous bringing my 1 year old with me to my appointment and Teresa was the best stylist! She included my daughter every way she can and even sang to her to help calm her down when she was fussy. She listened to everything I said and pulled amazing dresses for me. She even was able to get us an appointment the following morning before we left town since I didnt get to try all the dresses I liked during my first appointment! I will tell all my friends who are dress shopping to check out Lovely Bride!

Best experience shopping for a wedding dress. My consultant Kelsey was incredibly supportive and effective. I had an appointment yesterday in NYC and unfortunately this experience was awful. Upon entering, I was hardly greeted. I took a seat in the waiting area on a dirty couch with dirty floors and then the lady, Kelsey, who was working the front desk/answering the phones (the one who hardly greeted us), said she would be helping us out. She brought my 2 guests and me into a room, asked a bit about what I was looking for and what the budget was. When I said my wedding date, she made me feel extremely anxious by saying in the wedding world, thats like tomorrow. I had been to 2 other stores prior to this and neither said anything about my 7-8 month timeframe. In fact, my wedding planner and NONE of my other vendors seem to think this timeframe is a problem.After that, Kelsey pulled some dresses for me and closed the curtain, handed the dress to me and told me to come out when ready. Having only tried on wedding dresses the day prior and early that day, this was not something I am used to. Its not like I was trying on a pair of jeans! These are a unique article of clothing and something worth quite a bit of money, so I expected some assistance. After I came out in the dress, she clipped me and then immediately RAN out of the room. It was like she wanted nothing to do with me and my guests. She didnt tell us anything about the dress, explain the style, designer, etc. This went on for all the dresses I tried. At the 2 other stores I had been to, the consultants asked for feedback, told us about the fabric/materials/detailing and more. In addition, they asked questions about me, my fiance, our wedding, location to get to know me and my style and vibe more. Overall Kelsey was flat and lacked animation. In fact, she seems completely disinterested in me and the experience.Something else to note is that all of the dresses tried on at Lovely Bride were much dirtier, both on the outside and inside than the other places I had been to. Its actually a shame that my experience was so poor at Lovely Bride because there were some beautiful dresses, but I would never purchase something here due to the disappointing experience. My appointment lasted only 45 minutes, whereas everywhere else I went was 90 minutes. It seemed like Kelsey was rushing me out and her last question when we left was where to next?I dont enjoy writing reviews like this, but I was so upset and discouraged after leaving Lovely Bride and would hate for another bride to experience this.

THIS WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE!!! Teresa was the bommmmb she made everything about my appointment so much fun. She listened to everything I wanted in my dress, wasn’t pushy or frustrated whatsoever when I didn’t like something. She ended up finding my “yes” dress she was EVERYTHING.... request her for your appt if you can ;) this shop is beautiful id highly recommended

My sister and I felt so welcome comfortable from the moment we walked into Lovely Bride London. The first thing you notice is how gorgeous it smells, and the decor, lighting, music choice is complete perfection. Natasha checked us in and spent the time to get to know me and our wedding plans. The dresses I’d selected in advance were laid out beautifully, ready for me to try on. The selection of gowns is amazing, especially in comparison to other reportedly exclusive stores we had visited previously and left underwhelmed. I wish I’d just come here first!Natasha helped me with each of the gowns and gave brilliant advice. I really struggled to choose between my top 2 favourite dresses (both were so gorgeous!) but Natasha helped me narrow it down and since I’ve had absolutely no regrets. I said yes to the dress there and then! She was so kind, calm and comforting and I never felt under pressure at any point. Her advice really really helped and I’m now even more excited for the big day! Very much looking forward to returning when my dress is ready for collection, I have complete confidence the service will continue to be impeccable. I would highly recommend for any bride to be. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience at lovely bride. The team was so positive, prepared and not pushy whatsoever. It’s important to note that my appointment was very last minute and they were able to accommodate my unique situation so my mother could participate before returning to Canada for a two week quarantine. Lindsey is an absolute star.

I really did love my consultant kaitlyn but the lack of follow up after i left was really bizarre & annoying. We started pretty late because I think first of all their appointment slots are too short. Only 1 hour, and whatever bride came before me picked a dress and so my consultant was filling it so we were ~15-20 mins behind. She made up the time, but the whole end was so rushed. I still found my dress here and the consultant was lovely so that’s why I’m leaving a greater review. I also do agree that the upkeep/cleanliness is the rooms and couches are not as nice as other salons which are much more pristine.However back to the crux of the review—I got an e-mail and text shortly after sending me my dress I wanted to think about but really chose which was great. She even took my measurements because i was really planning on ordering it after a couple days of sitting with my decision. The following day I sent an e-mail and 2 texts to both the 646 and 212 numbers they tell you to call/text with questions and also I called both to no avail. No follow up. Obviously they have my info because I was sent texts and emails, but I still checked my account to make sure my contact info was right and it was. Zero follow up for my question about the dress that I wanted to order! I ended up just googling the dress to see what local stores had it (I’m not from NYC) and I’m actually going to get it for cheaper at the designers trunk show next month plus save on cheaper sales tax in the state of MA 🤷🏻‍♀️ If they had responded to me at all I would have ordered through them but now I’m glad I didn’t because I found the dress for cheaper and more local to me. Just the lack of follow up after was so weird!! Don’t you want money?? Lol

Abiodun was an absolute pleasure to work with. Very calming, professional and knew just what to say. Good vibes all around, was a great experience.

Not worth the $25 booking fee. The consultant didn’t take any notes, and we were crammed into a tiny dressing room without even an invitation to walk out and see the dresses in a more open area with additional mirrors and more natural lighting. We saw the other parties walk out to the main area, but we had no sense that we were welcome to any of that. We didn’t feel any warmth from our consultant and felt more like a burden to her. The try-on samples were also not well kept, and everything just felt claustrophobic, limited, rushed, and sad. Maybe our experience would’ve been better on a different day, but we walked away feeling like we’d only wasted our time and paid to be disappointed.

Had the absolute best experience possible at Lovely Bride during my appointment with Erica. She was so thorough in making sure I felt comfortable and saw each of the dresses I was really interested in. The shop is absolutely gorgeous, clean, and welcoming! I found my perfect dress and had an amazing time in the process. Thank you Lovely Bride!

I had a wonderful experience at Lovely Bride NYC in early May 2021. HUGE thank you to my consultant, Debra, was kind, caring, and listened to all of my requests and concerns thoroughly. After trying on my wishlist gowns without finding the one, she was able to pull more gowns that she thought Id like - and I found the perfect dress. The salon was beautiful and relaxing, and we finished our appointment in a timely manner without feeling rushed at all. If youre looking for a wide array of gown styles with a smaller boutique experience, Lovely Bride is a great option.

Unfortunately, this store missed the mark. 1 hour just felt so rushed with my consultant. One of the Katherine Tash dresses I tried on was very dirty & her dresses are so gorgeous that its a shame it wasnt kept well. The room was very tight and definitely not big enough to see the the dresses how I wouldve liked to view it. I would have loved for the initial appointment to be 90 minutes for a better experience.

Lovely was the second Bridal shop I had been to during my dress shopping experience, and it was by far THE BEST!! I attended the appointment with my mom and sister, and was assisted by Abi - she was absolutely amazing. The shop is so cute, comfortable, and they were extremely cordial on time!! We started by trying on the dresses I had added to my style board before the appointment, and then Abi would pull dresses as she learned my style, and what I felt comfortable in! Once I narrowed it down to two dresses, we headed out to the atrium to add a veil and make it all feel real - they even have a bouquet of fake flowers!! We knew that we had found the dress, but had a couple more appointments that day to attend (we were visiting from OH), however we were able to make an appointment for the following day with Abi to come back, try on the dress, and make things official!! When we returned for our second appointment, we were able to try on the dress again, take measures, and purchased the dress (WOOHOO!!) - we also purchased a veil at Lovely as well, the quality was the best we had seen from our other appointments as well! By far the best dress shopping experience - I would 100% recommend Lovely to everyone, and cannot wait to be reunited with my dress!

I had a wonderful experience at Lovely Bride NYC. Debra is awesome! During appointments she was unfailingly kind, professional, patient, and knowledgeable. My very first time trying on dresses was with Lovely. I was able to quickly figure out what I liked, and after trying on dresses at a few other locations, came back to Lovely for the one I loved. Also during this pandemic the space was clean, temperatures were checked, and everyone was asked to sanitize. Thank you! As an update a few months later, I had an issue with an accessory order after it was delivered. I brought it up to the Lovely Bride team and they coordinated a solution with the designer. I sincerely appreciate their customer service.

Every aspect of my experience at Lovely was amazing! The stylists are knowledgeable, super sweet, supportive and in no way pushy (which I experienced at certain other stores in the city). They were also very responsive to my inquiries and helpful when I needed to change my appointment time. Additionally, the dress selection is incredible. I found in most cases the dresses are even more beautiful in person than online. I had a couple of styles picked out in advance and found so many others in the store. They also tend to have more than one size of each dress which is really helpful. I couldn’t be happier with the dress I wound up buying!

I had a great initial experience finding my dress with Debras help, but everything since then has been nothing short of a disaster. First, I knowingly purchased my dress on a very short timeline. I paid a significant fee for super rush service and communicated that I really needed to know whether the dresss expected arrival was realistic, or else it wouldnt be prudent to order even with the super rush fee. I was promised it would all work out, but then I got an automated email shortly after purchase that told me my dress would come about two weeks after the timeline we had discussed. I called the store in a panic, and it was difficult to even get a person on the phone for discussion. A simple automated email caused tons of undue panic on my part, and my dresss arrival date, which seemed very certain before purchase, all of a sudden was up in the air. It definitely felt like a bait and switch sales tactic to pressure me into buying.My dress actually arrived on time, but my problems only got worse: I WAS SENT THE WRONG COLOR DRESS. When I left an after-hours voicemail to report the issue, nobody called me back the next day, and I had to call back myself to figure out what was going on. That is unacceptable communication and customer service. Also, when calling to check in on the matter, I was called by the wrong name on the phone. I am still working with Lovely Bride on a fair and swift resolution, but trust has melted down to nothing, and I have never been so disappointed by a company, especially one to whom I gave thousands of dollars of my business. I appreciate that so far in the process, Lovely Bride appears to be doing the right thing toward a resolution, including offering me a refund of my super rush fee and ensuring that the correct dress will make it to me on time. I will keep this review updated as we move forward until the matter is fully resolved.

My experience at Lovely Bride in NYC with my stylist Kelsey was amazing! First of all, their dresses are absolutely gorgeous so there are endless options! My appointment was 60 minutes and it was plenty of time. Kelsey had dresses ready for me to try on from my wish list the entire time. One of my favorite parts of Lovely was that I never once felt pressured to purchase a dress from them. So many of my friends said other bridal salons made them feel rushed and pressured, whereas I had the complete opposite experience! I was relaxed the entire time and had so much fun! I ended up saying YES to the dress and I could not be happier!

They have a great selection but they now charge for appointments. I had a few appointments and all of them started late. The rooms are NOT private. People can see you and men are walking through while you are changing which really made me uncomfortable. The woman I had for the first two appointments was lovely and helpful since I went by myself. But at my purchasing appointment she wasn’t available and the woman I had was not as kind. She seemed shocked I was by myself (my family is not in town). I ended up purchasing a dress that went from $2,800 to ending up costing almost $4,000 after all the “fees” and was pressured to do additional add ons (which I did not), some of the fees were not disclosed to me until paying which was super frustrating and they would not work with me on any of the pricing despite buying accessories through them. I was rushed while paying even though I had to read over a lengthy agreement and had questions while they stood over me impatiently. They do not do alterations and do not offer any welcome drink or celebration drink after such a big purchase like other bridal shops. They do have great trunk shows where you can meet the designers but beware the discount is so minimal and basically just covers the tax. Also make sure you assume everything will cost extra, add at least 30% to whatever they are quoting you and order your dress at least 6+ months in advance to avoid paying rush. I do love my dress, otherwise I would have given 1 star.

I had such an amazing experience finding my dress. Abi was so helpful and kind!!! We had different dresses in mind but Abi suggested one from another designer which ended up being IT !!! They also have an area with natural sunlight to see it in natural lighting. So happy with the experience !!!!

I had an incredible experience at Lovely Bride with Debra. She was a dream to work with - patient, kind, not pushy, and read my style well. Lovely was the first spot I went to, where I left loving one dress, but wanted to go to my second spot before I made a final decision. After leaving the second spot also loving one dress, but feeling rushed and undecided, I called Lovely to see if I could go back (that same day) to try on the dress I loved again. They were closing in 30 minutes and welcomed me in with smiles and excitement. After putting the dress on once again and working with such wonderful women, I knew it was the one. This was the third bridal appointment I had been to and was by far the best experience compared to the other 2 places I went. From the minute we got their Debra was so sweet! She listened and made the whole appointment feel special. I ended up buying the first dress she brought in for me to look at based on what I told her I liked! Would highly recommend!

I was able to purchase my dream dress from Lovely Bride. Originally when going dress shopping I had two designers in mind that I loved and I ended up going with one. My stylist was able to make suggestions to me based upon the feedback I was providing which was great and lead to me to my dress. I will note however I did feel some pressure coming from their side (although this did not effect my decision my mind was already made up). There was a sale occurring which they made sure to note many times, coming off as a bit pushy. When scheduling my 2nd appointment to officially say yes to the dress they stated “hopefully they could get me in before the sale ended”. However, that is my only negative comment. Overall the dresses are beautiful, the shop is cute and I got to purchase not only the dress I feel most comfortable in but also most beautiful.

This was my first dress appointment after getting engaged, and I was so pleased with the entire experience from start to finish. The booking was easy online, and I really like that they have you create a wish list before you come in so they can pull those dresses for you to start. They called me the Sunday before my Thursday appointment - to check in, discuss a couple prep questions, and I found that so kind! On Thursday when I went in, the place is gorgeous, clean, smells good and Kelsey (my Stylist) came to greet me and told me she was the one who called me before. I could go on and on about how wonderful she was - but Ill leave it to say, I was excited and nervous about trying on dresses and finding one that made me feel comfortable and happy, and Kelsey was right there the whole time in it with me! I also didnt have friends there with me in person, but my Maid of Honor and one of my Bridesmaids joined on Zoom, and Kelsey worked with them as if they were actually there. :) All around, amazing experience - cant wait to go back later for a follow up.

Buyer beware. I had nonstop bad experiences with this store. First off, the dress I picked somehow went from 2,200-4,300 by the time I paid, they nickel and dime you for every single thing and that doesn’t even include alterations. To be honest by the time they told me the price I just paid it because I made my decision. Two weeks later the pandemic happened and I lost my job and cancelled my wedding, I emailed lovely bride to see if there was anyway I could cancel my order. I obviously understand cancelling in any normal situation sure. But sadly this store couldn’t be human in a global pandemic. They just take advantage of people in what is supposed to be the happiest day of their life’s. The only thing they offered was to give me $300 they charged me to rush the dress, which seemed strange considering they couldn’t cancel the order. To make matters worse when I went to pick up my dress it’s nothing like what the dress is done completely wrong, they didn’t have the actual dress i was ordering in the store so I had to try it on in two pieces, saying it would be one full dress like another one they have. When I picked up the dress it has some type of cheap weird belt thing connecting it. So now my $4,000 dress looks like it cost $100 and the girl told me I could just get it altered. So pretty much pay $1,000 to remake a dress. When looking back at the photos online of the dress there is no weird belt on it. Highly do not recommend this place for soooo many reasons. Sadly they couldn’t work with me on any of my issues, sadly I’ve had to tell soo many people about my nightmare experience with Lovely Bride.

Erica was just amazing! She made me try all the dresses I selected in my wishlist, she understood right away what I wanted and after 10 dresses she found MY dress. I fell in love right away! I went back after a week and I was still in love with it! Thank you Erica

The moment I walked into Lovely Bride I knew I would find my dress there! Its so exciting to be a Bride to Be and finding your dress is one of the highlights of the engagement. My stylist was Debra, and she made the entire experience truly magical and FUN! She really wanted to get to know me as well as my entourage. She pulled dresses for me that fit my personality, my body type and dresses that fit the style of our wedding. If youre looking for unique dresses, excellent customer service and a small intimate experience.. go to Lovely Bride! And ask for Debra ;)

I came into Lovely Bride at the end of June 2020, Im so upset about my experience that Im writing a review now, nearly 7 months later. My appointment was with Hannah who I had told that my budget was $3,500. I needed a dress of the rack because my wedding date was scheduled only a few months after this appt (pandemic caused). After trying on a few dresses *all of which Hannah knew the exact price of* I fell in love with Milla Novas Emri dress and was considering buying it then and there. To my surprise, Hannah told me that she did not know the how much the Emri Dress cost and called the manager over to consult. They whispered back and forth, which I thought was off. Hannah and her manager let me know that the dress (off the rack) would cost my exact budget - $3,500. I decided to call around to different stores and see how much the dress was sold for elsewhere, they all said $2200 (some said $2300 or $2400). I asked several stores what the price was for off the rack, several said $1100. There were several stores in NYC that had the dress listed at $2200 so the NYC rent excuse is null here. Lovely Bride knew I was desperate for a dress so they took advantage and tried to up charge me by $2,400. The place is cute, it has trendy dresses, but if you go please make sure you look at the tag of your dress when you try on and take picture of it (they will never follow up in email like they say, believe me, press them for the name of the dress you love). Following your appointment do what I did and call around to make sure Lovely Bride isnt trying to scam you like they did me.

Covid has made wedding planning incredibly difficult but lovely bride has made it so much worse.After months of no email responses finally after going to social media Erica the store manager found the time to answer my concerns about the status of my dress when my wedding was only 6 weeks away.I went to pick up my dress in the store only to be told that they weren’t letting brides try on dresses do social distancing. Which is understandable but then walked into two other brides for their appointment to try on dresses.So you mean that I can’t try on the dress I paid for to make sure no mistakes have not been made in the store but those buying a dress today can ...I’m happy that my interactions with this store is over. I will never recommend this place

Nicole was absolutely amazing. Her energy makes you feel like an absolute superstar and she made the experience so unforgettable. Nicole had a great sense for getting an idea of what you liked and then started pulling dresses and making suggestions which was so great and looked incredible. Highly recommend and the experience was a lot better than other places I went to try on dresses

I worked with Hannah and had a great experience. Very laid back yet professional and a great listener. The dress I ultimately bought actually wasn’t on the floor but she heard what I was saying I wanted and and my reviews from the dresses I had tried on and pulled one that was my dream dress! Then was extremely accommodating when I told her I needed a night to think about it and came back in the middle of the next day to get measured / buy it.

There could not have been one thing better about my appointment and overall experience. The absolute best part was Hannah. Out of every experience I had she was the most knowledgeable, supportive and positive consultant I have ever seen. She has fantastic taste and without her, I would not have my dress. Thank you, Hannah! Lovely has some amazing dresses as well - with great range. You truly can try on any style, while still feeling like you are in a curated space. It is phenomenal.

Abi is the best bridal consultant I’ve ever worked with. She was super helpful and patient. She totally understood my perspective and helped me to make awesome selections. It was wonderful to have a consultant who didn’t try to shove me into teeny tiny dresses that didn’t fit my frame. She made me feel awesome and beautiful. It was so good to feel like I could relate to and identify with my consultant.

One of the best places to get a dress in NYC, they really make the most beautiful dresses and they work hard to make you look beautiful. I highly recommend!

I had the BEST experience at Lovely Bride NYC! My consultant Kelsey was absolutely AMAZING!!! She listen to all my wants and concerns. I wasn’t rushed at all and was not pressured to buy a dress. She actually picked out the dress I bought and I can honestly say it’s my dream dress!The shop is stylish and filled with gorgeous dresses. The dressing rooms were spacious and the back room has a skylight with amazing lighting. I can’t recommend this shop enough!!!!Thanks for the most memorable, perfect wedding shopping trip ever !!!

Had the best experience at Lovely Bride! After going to a few other bridal salons and feeling like I wasnt really being heard and was being pushed to buy dresses I didnt love, coming to Lovely and working with Nicole was a breathe of fresh air. Nicole was so sweet, listened to what I wanted and knew exactly what to put me in next based on my reactions. Ended up with a dress I wouldnt have picked on my own but is absolutely perfect thanks to Nicole and Lovely Bride!

I worked with Emily at Lovely Bride this past weekend. I highly recommend her as well as the salon in general. Emily was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the stores stock. She listened to what I wanted and seemed genuinely interested in helping me find a dress I loved. Unlike other salespeople at different stores I went to she was not pushy and made sure I stayed within my budget. I was looking for a dress that felt modern and elegant (and not boho or sweet) and she helped me find it. Really enjoyed the experience!

Lovely Bride was probably my sixth or seventh bridal appointment that I had--and thankfully it ended up being my best and last! The ambiance really is lovely (no pun intended) and the private rooms are good sized and intimate in that you dont have a ton of other eyes staring at you. My consultant, Debra, was AMAZING. She was so sweet, not pushy or salesy at all, and overall just very pleasant. Long story short, I ended up loving two dresses and Debra did not get annoyed with me wanting to keep trying them on back to back. In fact, she encouraged me to try them on again and to take my time. By the end of my appointment, I was still very torn. Debra had found out that her next appointment had cancelled so instead of taking a break (which by this time she really deserved one), she stayed with me even after my appointment had ended and had many more helpful suggestions. I ended up choosing a dress and I couldnt be happier with my experience and with Debra!!

I had a wonderful experience with Cecilia at Lovely Bride. It was my first bridal appointment and she was super friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. The gowns at this salon are unique and the place itself is beautiful! Had a wonderful experience and would have bought Stella from this location if I hadnt found a dress at another salon that beat it out.

I had a great experience at Lovely Bride. My stylist, Nicole, was so helpful and kind. She was able to read my reactions to dresses I tried and brought me new options based on my likes and dislikes. She asked all the right questions and always encouraged me. The experience was nothing but positive and I’m happy to say I found my dress on my first shopping trip!

Nicole was excellent and provided incredible service. She was warm, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. I felt very comfortable and well taken care of during the dress shopping process. Nicole went above and beyond to help me navigate the tight timeframe I had for purchasing the dress, including making a follow-up appointment, and even getting me details for the other shop I was considering to expedite the process. Nicole really made this a special experience and took very good care of me throughout! Plus the dress is incredible and Im so excited to wear it.

Lovely Bride and my consultant Debra were amazing! It took me a while to figure out exactly what I wanted, but Debra never made me feel rushed or discouraged or like I was being totally annoying. She was incredibly patient and SO responsive to the feedback I gave, and dress by dress we figured it out and I found the perfect one! There were so many amazing options and the studio is adorable - it felt exactly how you imagine dress shopping should feel.

I got my dress here in August. This was the second shop I went to and had another appointment after. I loved the small boutique shop! It was much more intimate than the larger warehouse stores so it was much more my style ! I came in with my wish list ready and my consultant, Aaron was ready! He took me around the store and we went through my wish list. While trying on dresses, he encouraged aka kindly forced me to pick my top 2 dresses and then we would go out into the bigger area and look at the dress in the natural light. I also did not want a veil and Aston encouraged me to try one on!! It definitely made me feel like a bride and brought everything together. I had a LOVELY experience and can’t wait to wear my dress in June 2020!

Abi was absolutely amazing. She was so great at asking questions and really listening. She knew exactly what to ask to get me talking about what I did and didn’t like in the gowns. Which oddly, no other place even cared about. This really helped me understand what I want as there are so many options and nice parts in each dress. She came up with the ideal dress that I wanted but didn’t know how to express or even know was an option. SHE IS MAGIC.

I had an ecstatic experience at Lovely Bride. Kelsey was my stylist, and that girl was GOOD. By looking at a few pictures, and talking to me for just a few moments, she knew exactly what I wanted. Not only was the experience extremely fun, we had total success. I got the dress (the first one Kelsey picked out for me, though of course I tried on many others), and a crown and jacket that just match it perfectly. The gowns are really beautiful, and the excellence of my stylist was remarkable. This is where I will send my friends.

I cannot begin to express what an amazing experience I had at Lovely Bride! From the moment I walked in I felt extremely comfortable and welcomed. My consultant, Debra, was phenomenal!! I had a bad experience at another bridal salon so I was a bit nervous for my appointment, but Debra was able to ease all my worries and pull dresses that were exactly what I was looking for. At the start of the appointment, she asked so many thoughtful questions to understand my vision for my wedding (not just about the dress, but about the venue, the guests, etc). The dresses Debra pulled were all so wonderful, I wish I could have gotten all of them! The dress I ended up getting was the second one I tried on (Debra’s pick) and I could not be happier. She really nailed what I wanted and I am SO excited to wear it on my big day! Lovely Bride came highly recommended to me and I would absolutely recommend it to every bride! The experience was so personal and so special (not to mention private, I was completely unaware of anyone else in the salon even though it was a busy weekend). I will forever be thankful for Debra and Lovely Bride for making my last dress shopping excursion an outstanding one!

My consultant is very friendly and helpful, yet I do feel that the store can make some improvements. They probably take too many appointments at the same time so sometimes it could be a little loud and chaotic. Secondly, I really wish they could take better care of their gowns. I don’t know if it’s just me, but when I see a sample gown with stains, regardless of what the price tag says, it just feels cheap and no bride wants to feel that... It’s still a lovely experience overall but the devil is in the details.

I SAID YES TO THE DRESS!! This was my first and ONLY bridal shop I went to and tried on wedding dresses for my BIG DAY and I just have to say what a incredible experience I had! My bridal consultant Debra was beyond AMAZING! The whole staff was just wonderful! This bridal shop completely passed all my expectation and I would recommend this shop to every bride out there! I had an absolutely amazing experience shopping here for my wedding dress. I had the pleasure of working with Kelsey who was beyond amazing. She memorized all my notes and what I was looking for, and had everything ready for me when I walked in the door. Although I didn’t end up finding the *one* they had a great variety of styles and dresses. The store itself was adorable, and I would 110% recommend any new bride to book an appointment here.

I had an amazing experience! It was my first dress shopping appointment since getting engaged so I didnt really know what to expect but was not disappointed. It was not crowded and there was an excellent selection. I worked with Jessie there who was AMAZING. She was patient and definitely heard what my style was like, helped work within my budget, and was a great assistant for getting dresses on and off!! I went with 3 other people who loved the experience as well. Would absolutely recommend this for wedding dress shopping! Prices were very fair, environment was dreamy, staff was amazing. I was so excited for my appointment and had guests come in from out of town. We were immediately on alert upon arrival. Everything was loud and chaotic. The furniture and samples were all filthy. Some of the samples were unlined and completely see through, not something I experienced at any other locations. My attendant was 15 minutes late with no apology and we just did not connect, most of the attendants looked more appropriate in Urban Outfitters than a bridal shop (I would not trust the opinion of the petite girl in the Iron Maiden tee and trainers).When beverages were requested we were directed to a water cooler in the waiting area. The bathroom sink was broken.I felt pressured to make a decision about a dress when I have 9+ months left. Overall left a terrible taste in all of our mouths and there are LOTS of options in NYC.

My Mom, sister and I worked with Annie at Lovely Bride NYC yesterday. She was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. She listened to my vision for the wedding and what styles I was drawn to and did a great job pulling dresses that fit my body type and aesthetic. She made the experience extremely fun and laid back.I didnt end up pulling the trigger on a dress, but would DEFINITELY recommend Annie the stylist to any bride searching for a great shopping experience.

​Kelsey Johnson at Lovely Bride is the absolute best! I went wedding dress shopping on my own this summer in NYC ​(without any of my 10 bridesmaids) which was a tough process until I met Kelsey. Dress shopping was not an easy task for me and it was something I preferred to do on my own as I dont love all of the attention. As soon as I met Kelsey, she made me instantly feel calm and confident about the process. After showing her a few pictures of what I was looking for, she ran off and grabbed a few dresses that were exactly what I was picturing. She did not pressure me to try on things I was not comfortable and she just immediately understood what I was going for. Kelsey is the most calm and easy-going stylist I have met and she totally respected me knowing what I like/dont like. I ended up liking almost every single dress she grabbed for me which is totally unlike me. From there, she helped me narrow it down to three so I could come back and pick one out with my mom. She ultimately helped me pick the perfect dress (and color) that makes me feel comfortable. I just picked up the dress this Friday and couldnt be happier and more relieved. I truly cant express how thankful I am for Kelseys amazingness. I am so appreciative of her professionalism and her genuine friendliness and warmness. I absolutely could not have survived the dress search without her!

This place was gorgeous and so much fun to shop in. Kelsey was such great help and a natural. She made me feel so comfortable and not like she was just trying to force any dresses on me. She knew exactly what I liked and what I didn’t want. All the gowns were so beautiful. And the showroom was literally somewhere I could put my bed and live in.

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. This was by far the best experience Ive had while searching for a wedding dress. First off the store is so adorable and cozy. I had the pleasure of working with Aaron and he was INCREDIBLE. He was so sweet, was not pushy at all, listened when I said no, and didnt force a sale. He also made me feel like he genuinely wanted to know about my wedding & fiance, which made the experience even more personal. As a plus sized women I was very nervous to go dress shopping because I didnt think any of the sample sizes would fit. However, if youre looking for a non traditional dress as a plus sized women they have a great selection. I ended up saying yes to the dress and I could not thank the Lovely Bride team enough for their help!

I went to Lovely Bride last week to start to look for dresses for my wedding in 2021. I had an absolutely wonderful and stress-free experience at Lovely Bride. The process begins before your day trying on gowns. I made a wish-list of dresses I like from the website, then a week later I had a phone call with my consultant to talk through the gowns, my wedding vision, my body type, ect. I arrived at Lovely Bride for my appointment and my consultant had strategically picked the order of my gowns based on our conversations. I only tried on 5 dresses, which I credit to my consultant being great at her job and the conversations we had before I arrived. I loved the whole process, and thought the pre-try on process made the actual try on day go extremely smooth. Big shout out to ERICA for being so wonderful to work with, super helpful and making the day be stress free!PS he store made my mother and I feel very safe with their COVID protocol (masks on, limited appointments, wash hands upon arrival, ect).

If you’re curvy or just looking for a more down-to-earth and super fun experience see Annie! I had been to 3 bridal shops before this and this was by far the best. Annie listened to me and read my cues while giving honest opinions. Love the dress selection; I’m a size 14 and some dresses were tough to fit in but I was abled to fit into more than other places!

Great place. The staff was so friendly. They sit and talk with you and get an idea who you are then find what you like. As a mother of a future bride I really appreciated their help. Highly recommend

I had such a great fitting with Katherine at Lovely Bride. I had one overwhelming and frustrating appointment prior, so I felt a bit more prepared for my fitting at Lovely Bride. It is a relief to see photos on the website, though note to check ahead if you have any specific designers ahead of time if there is something you are in love with.I am still giving 5 stars because it is the best option for an intimate and lovely dress shopping experience. I was so happy to be able to have my friend and family in the room while I changed. I could joke around but change quickly if I didnt like an option. Katherine was helpful and took feedback (even if It was going in the opposite direction of what you were initially thinking). I love their big room for the big reveal and it really helped me get the feeling that *this* was the dress.

I had the most incredible experience at Lovely Bride. Our saleswoman/bridal genius, Annie was the absolute best. She was kind, fun and knowledgeable and was able to understand my style within the first 5 minutes of us meeting. The very first dress I put on ended up being the one!! I went to one other appointment that day that paled in comparison to the experience I had at Lovely Bridal. I would recommend this boutique to anyone and encourage you to set up your appointment with Annie! She is the best!
