I had the most amazing experience finding my wedding dress at Designer Loft! I was not exactly sure what style dress I wanted and I didn’t find anything online that I loved so I did not have high hopes that I would find a dress that day. The first dress I tried on was absolutely perfect and went above and beyond what I could have hoped for. I found my dress at Designer Loft with Jamie! To start everyone at the shop was very welcoming when we got there, but Jamie was absolutely incredible. We chatted about likes, and I got to show her a few a dresses that I tried on at a previous appointment and the likes/dislikes for those. She took the feedback and ran with it. We browsed the sales floor and Jamie went a pulled a ton of options from the back. Jamie did not pressure us on time, in fact it was the exact opposite! She was very clear that we could take our time and there was no rush so we could find the “one.” But in the end it turned out we didn’t need much time, Jamie’s first pick from the back was the one! I tried on a few more to cover our bases and make sure nothing would beat it, but her choice was absolutely spot on. We got it that day and I literally cannot wait to wear that on the big day! 💕

The owner was helpful by bringing in a specific dress that I requested, though I had to put a deposit down so that I was committed to the store regardless of the dress outcome. I had intentions on having my alterations completed here as well, but after several times of me reaching out I never received a response.. so I went elsewhere.

Amy was a great dress consultant! I tried on a few and came back the next day to retry one I liked. I was between two, one from another store, and there was no pressure at all to pick the one there but in the end I ended up picking. She helped me customize it to exactly what I wanted and I said yes!

I am a recent customer of Designer Loft. I bought a dress and veil from Designer Loft, as well did my alterations there. I would like to make everyone aware to stay away from this place. First of all, they forgot to place the order of my veil right after I paid for it. Once they realized this, they fixed it, however instead of apologizing and saying they will take care of it, ended up blaming her coworker for not ordering it. This wasnt even the half of it. The biggest problems started when I began doing alterations with them. When they started to do alterations, they could not properly do it, especially my bustle. They were trying to find the reason why it wasn’t done in the proper way. First, they said that the train of my dress is too long, and it cannot be managed in a good way. Their second excuse was that the dress was made for a model, and that because of my height, I dont fit that category so it isnt right for me. That was very interesting to hear from THE MANAGER of the place. I even asked her if its possible that girls who are not models can look nice on their wedding day. After talking to the manager, they finally, eventually fixed the dress. But I got SO MUCH ATTITUDE from the person who was doing the alterations on the day I came to pick it up. I came with family members, and they could not believe their ears regarding how much she said to us and how much anger and attitude she had. She was very upset that I talked to the manager about the alteration situation. The woman could not stop complaining at a time that should have been a joyous occasion for me and my family. I never, EVER received so much attitude in any establishment until then. I don’t want to write any names here. But this situation was extremely upsetting.Please STAY AWAY from this place if you don’t want to deal with their unprofessionalism in alterations and very bad customer service. Looking back I wish I never began dealing with them in the first place. There are so many other places around where customers are actually appreciated.

The prices are reasonable, there work is good but sometimes short of staff, so you might have a little wait. The location is near all bridal gown shops and material stores which makes it very convenient to buy a bridal dress or material and have it altered right there. Parking around here is horrible, theres absolutely no place to park and they give out tickets on this block. So its best to park in a lot, or take the train down.

Had such an amazing experience with Amy!! Could not recommend her more. She was calm, cool, made me feel at ease & so beautiful each time I met with her. She went ABOVE and beyond to help me work with the designer to build my dream dress from a couple of different styles.

I said YES to a dress visiting the 1st and only Designer Loft bridal boutique that I visited on Palm Sunday, March 28th, 2021. What is special to me is in the spirit of Womens History month, I purchased from a woman owned business who is a daughter of Africa that hails from Ethiopia and a dress from a South African designer. This was once a country I called home and inspired my career transition out of fashion into international affairs. This entire experience @designerloft_bridal with my mom was meaningful and the customer service provided by Jamie and Liz Sellassie expertise as the owner was phenomenal!!!!

Katie was absolutely amazing. I visited a few other places while in New York and they did not compare to Designer Loft. Katie knew exactly what I was looking for and she wound up helping me choose a dress that was something I would have never expected to look good on me. I found my wedding dress at the Designer Loft with Jamie’s help and I did not want to take it off! They have a very extensive selection of designers and are able to accommodate any budget. My appointment started with a consultation with Jamie where we discussed my likes, dislikes and the style of the wedding. She then pulled a range of dresses for me while I also got to look around the store and pull what I liked. After an unexpected find that I fell in love with, Jamie was so supportive in immediately scheduling me a follow up appointment the very next weekend so I could show my mother who would be in town. During my second appointment to show my mom, every associate in the store was so attentive and I was able to decide on my dress that day! There are a lot of wedding dress boutiques in NYC and it can be overwhelming; Designer Loft needs to be on your list. I would recommend this shop being one of your first appointments to try on dresses as they really had such a vast range of styles, designers and prices and the staff is very knowledgeable.

They refused to fix the brides dress. Did an extremely horrible job on it and when they were confronted about it they were extremely rude and hung up the phone in the brides mothers face. It was supposed to be her big day and you made it more of a nightmare. If you don’t feel like doing your job correctly than DONT do it at all. Learn to respect yourselves and watch the attitude. Liz is extremely disrespectful. Words spreads round and the truth comes out. Respect yourselves it’s disgusting

If I could give this place negative stars I would...As a person who works in the wedding world I found my experience at Designer Loft to be terrible. Terrible selection of gowns (and not inclusive sample sizes), didnt have the AC on (hot day in August - it should be on before anyone comes to the store) and horrible customer service. My consultant was self indulgent, unprofessional and was more worried about her wedding dress than helping me find mine. I felt like I was her consultant amping her up about her wedding. On top of only talking about her upcoming wedding and her dress journey - decided to hold a dress to my body and tell me See you dont even have the dress on and I can see your stomach. That comment is irredeemable and should not be said to any client or person trying on gowns. Wedding dress shopping can be a stressful time for a lot of brides and to make a comment like that is terrible. Id never recommend anyone to go to that place. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

Yesterday afternoon I went to The Designer loft for the first time ever looking at and trying on wedding dresses. I was very happy, and excited to finally be doing this, as I was counting down from when I had made my appointment a month before. I had an idea of what I wanted, all the staff that helped me went above and beyond my expectations. They listened to what I had visioned for my prefect dress, took note of all my details and request, were so respectful and did not push me into buying a dress right then and there. After trying on a few dresses, the one dress I had come to the bridal store for, was the one I ended up getting - MY DREAM DRESS. My overall experience was more than I could have imagined or wanted. It was truly magical and perfect. I cant wait till the dress arrives and I have to go back for fittings. If I was able to give The Designer Loft more than 5 stars, trust me I would. I already recommended this bridal store to a few friends who are recently engaged and looking for their wedding dress.

I flew out there with already tried on a few different dresses and not finding what I liked. Had such a great experience with the staff. My Consultant Jamie was the best. She understood my wants and needs and put me in something that I loved. I came to Designer Loft in search of specific Rosa Clara dresses. While they did not have the specific dresses, Liz emailed me similar dresses. On my first visit, the bridal consultant, KT, was incredibly kind and positive. She got a sense of my style and personality. She said she would contact the designer to try and get two dresses I had in mind sent to the store. One was coming through for a sample sale. She convinced the owner to purchase the other one for their inventory. Other shops I had been to simply stopped the search when I didnt find anything in the store. Not KT! She said she knew it was my dress and she was absolutely right! It was a special moment. I am incredibly grateful!

I said yes to the dress at Designer Loft! After visiting several shops in New Jersey, we decided to go to New York City to find the perfect dress. I had to make an appointment at the last minute and Liz was very accommodating. The shop was in an upstairs area in the garment district and had a beautiful selection of dresses. The experience felt very personal and Liz is able to work with you to customize the dress exactly the way you want. Carly was my consultant and she was great! Im looking forward to picking up my dress in a few months.

I was in NYC for a work conference and decided to make a few bridal appointments while I was in the garment district. By far designer loft had the largest and most diverse/modern selection of gowns to choose from. I was by myself but had a great time and had a super efficient appointment. I ordered my gown from here in October and they told be it would come in around April (made to order). The gown actually came in January and they had it shipped to my home in Michigan in less than a week. I was super happy with the size they ordered, it fits me perfectly and I barely need any alterations! Trust the size the recommend for you!

I’ve been to a dozen wedding gown stores and this was the only one that basically had no suitable dresses for me in my size. I’m a size 10-12 (12-14 in wedding dresses) so not even considered plus size. If you’re curvier, skip this place and try one of the more size inclusive places. They were nice enough, but in 2021 you need every dress in a couple sizes.

I got my dress at a Rosa Clara trunk show. The shop is super cute and has a small boutique feel even though its in the middle of NYC. Oscar was my consultant and made the day so much fun! Alterations went so smoothly with Natascha. She was always smiling and making me feel beautiful. Everyone said the dress was made for me, and I have Designer Loft to thank for that.

My niece said yes to her dress at Designer Loft thanks to Jaime! A few weeks ago we drove in to the city and this was our third appointment of the day. We were starting to feel like we werent going to find what she wanted until we arrived here... shop has great selection, but was so impressed how our stylist took time to understand the vision and ended up pulling the perfect gown for her while making it a fun and stress-free experience. She tried several more on, but the FIRST ONE Jaime pulled was THE ONE. My daughter is soon to be engaged so we will be back to find her gown too!

Amy my stylist helped me through the entire process from teaching me about colors, fabrics, styles and brands the helping me into a dozen dresses. Great ambience in an unassuming storefront.

Had an amazing experience at Designer Loft!! My best friend and I are both engaged and planning weddings and KT was wonderful and able to schedule us appointments at the same time. We brought photos are the types of styles we like and they perfectly pulled dresses that matched the looks and a few others that were gorgeous and I wouldnt have chosen on my own! They also styled the dresses with different veil styles and bouqets to really help envision the look and it was amazing. The staff are so warm supportive and kind! It was very safe covid-wise. Must wash hands before entering, everyone wore masks and it is very spacious inside so social distancing was no problem! I highly recommend! Their selection is vast and they really understand what the client is looking for and help with a full heart!

Amazing bridal shop! Although I did not say yes to the dress here, I loved my experience with KT as consultant. They really took time to understand what you are looking for, let you browse and advised a lot during the visit. I have fallen in love in a dress in a store that I visited prior to Designer Loft, but if it did not happen I would most likely order the dress here.

Had a great experience at Designer Loft just before Labor Day. Amy worked with us and was very patient in allowing my daughter to try a wide variety of dress styles. They had many choices in our budget and such a variety that we did not see anywhere else. We appreciated that they want the bride to find the perfect dress for her. Where should I begin. Let me start off by saying this place is a absolute train wreck. I’m not sure where all these positive 5 star reviews on their google profile came from, our experience has been less than one star. My fiancée made an appointment back in September and went in to shop for her wedding dress. She found the perfect dress and gave the details about the wedding specifically the date which is in March of 2021. She asked on several occasions while in the store if she would receive the dress in time to have alterations done before the wedding. She was reassured each time that she would receive the dress in time. Months passed by and no update about the dress. She placed a couple of calls on different occasions and each occasion was given the run around and told they would call her back. No return phone calls. Now here we are 43 days out from our wedding date and guess what? No dress and still getting the run around. At this point we have requested to receive our money back so that we can try and find a dress and have alterations performed in less than 43 days. They are refusing to issue a refund. I guess this is their business model. Take payment, give the customer the run around and then refuse to issue a refund. Thank you for putting us in a bind by your lack of communication and piss poor customer service. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! Avoid this establishment at all cost!

I came into Designer Loft with no intention of buying my dress that day - I had a lot of time to spare, and my intention was to make it to the trunk shows of all the designers I had my eye and, and once I knew which dress I wanted I would wait until the next trunk show in the area to actually make the purchase. Well, Designer Loft was the first of two appointments I had that day, and I was there for a Rosa Clara trunk show, but I knew without any doubt that a Pronovias dress I tried on was The One. I didnt need my second appointment that day, or the two appointments Id made at other shops the following week. I was done shopping. Designer Loft even gave me the trunk show price even though they werent holding a Pronovias trunk show that day!Special mentions should be made for Lindsay, who is a fabulous and talented sales consultant, and Natasha, the seamstress, who not only did a fantastic job, but also allowed one of my fitting appointments to take place on a weekend day so I could pair it with a hair trial, and who did up the bustle and fixed a slight issue on the left shoulder in no time flat at the time of my final fitting!My dress was gorgeous, perfect for the castle wedding I had, and I couldnt be happier. Thank you Lindsay and Natasha!

Amy & Liz are amazing! They helped me find my dress on a Monday afternoon- I had the entire salon to myself and tried at least 15 dresses. They understood my vision exactly and the designer I ended up going with (calla blanche) is super customizable and they suggested all sorts of things I didnt even know were possible. Plus, they can add more if I want once the dress gets to their seamstress. As a healthcare worker, they made sure my dress was within the budget I had, and were so appreciative of my business in their store. They took 2.5 hours with me searching for the right dress and planning numerous customizations. For reference, I went to 14 different bridal shops and tried at least 100 gowns on. The designer will also send me pictures of my gown completed before they send it back to NYC. So far, couldnt be happier!

AVOID AT **ALL** COSTS - especially Galit Levi. She make promises that she cant deliver on - Galits practice appears fraudulent and deceptive based on my experience:- I ordered a replica of a dress that was in store. I got back an oversized rag that looked NOTHING like the original. There was NO attention to detail. Shards of fabric were just hanging from different parts of the dress.- The dress was at least a month late - they planned to finish it AFTER my wedding date & no one cared that they missed all deadlines.Galits only concern is charging your credit card. Unprofessional and unskilled - dont make my mistake. Go elsewhere.The oversized, ill-fitted dress you see in the picture has a price tag of almost $5000.

From my wife for our November 2019 wedding: My mother and I went to Designer Loft Bridal in August, 2019, to start our search for my dress for my November 2019 wedding. We had ideas about what we were looking for, which I described to the staff member when I scheduled my appointment. I tried on about 6 dresses, giving feedback on each one. When I walked out wearing a Rosa Clara gown, my mom and I knew that there was no need to look further. I scheduled 2 additional fittings, and had no trouble having my gown on time. The staff at Designer Loft Bridal were attentive, helpful, and cooperative during the entire process. I can’t tell you how many complements I received on my wedding day.

I cannot speak highly enough about the Designer Loft!I had only recently started my quest for the perfect wedding dress, I had barely made a dent in the process as I still didn’t know what style or fit of dress I wanted. I went into the appointment with no expectations and assumed I would just be continuing to try new things on and narrow down my choices. Upon our arrival everyone was very welcoming, they checked us in quickly and took us on time for our appointment. My bridal consultant, Jamie, was nothing short of amazing! She really took her time to get to know me, during our talk she made a list of all my likes and dislikes which she then used to pick out her selections of what dresses she thought I should try on.While she hunted for her choices, I was instructed to wander the store and search for what dresses I wanted to try on. I appreciated this since many dress stores do not give you this option. Jamie picked out tons of different options, and since I am heavy chested, she even offered me a corset/bustier to wear which really made me so much more comfortable. When I tried on her selections, Jamie never appeared to be upset or offended if I did not like them. Instead she used the feedback to improve her selections. After trying several dresses, without any warning, she handed me the PERFECT dress. It hit the mark for every single want on my list, and I know for certain I would not have picked this dress out from the racks myself. I was so shocked that I found the perfect dress so quickly, the appointment exceeded my expectations! I am so thankful to Jamie and the whole team at Designer loft for their expertise. I would recommend this dress shop to anyone, as the whole experience was nothing short of amazing.

I heard about Designer Loft through my maid of honor and it was my first stop on my search for a wedding dress. I have to say that I was so pleased with the attention that I was given and how comfortable the employees made me feel. I worked with Jamie and she picked dresses that I thought I wanted and dresses that she thought woud look good on me and go with the feel of the venue. I fell in love with a dress that I never thought I would be able to pull off and I am so happy and thankful that I was recommended to come here. The customer service was above and beyond the customer service at other shops I went to. Everyone should stop by and experience the great customer service and the intimate feel the Designer Loft provides.

I highly recommend Designer Loft! Everything from the dress selection to the customer service was excellent. Amy was such a gem, she helped me navigate the stores impressive inventory with the best sense of humor and attitude. Amy and the Designer Loft team were an absolute pleasure to work with, and I absolutely recommend anyone searching for a dress to visit!

I had a great time shopping for my dress at Designer Loft. Everyone was so helpful, they pulled a great selection of dresses for me to try on and ordering my dress was a breeze. I worked with Jamie and she was wonderful. She made sure the process was seamless and communication with her was great! I’ve been to other NYC bridal shops and I found this one to be the easiest to work with and their selection is abundant.

I visited Designer Loft a couple of weeks back and worked with Jamie. She was absolutely amazing and so helpful. She was very creative and tried to find ways to put dresses together to piece together the dress I was looking for. She also gave me a great idea to put pictures of dresses I was choosing between side by side in a pic stitch! If you visit this shop request Jamie!!

When the big day came for me to shop for my wedding dress with my mother, I visited four different boutiques. Designer Loft was far and away the best of the bunch in variety of dresses and outstanding service. Immediately when I entered I was greeted with smiling faces who got us both comfortable. I was asked about my vision before being whisked away to a dressing room, my mom waiting in a viewing area. I was very nervous, but everyone person I met was warm and friendly, putting me at ease. I tried on four dresses, and with each showing, we were all able to narrow in on my ideal dress. The fourth dress, a sleeveless ball gown, was the clear winner. However, I had my heart set on an off-the-shoulder dress with a little less puff. Immediately, the dresser tucked away some of the tulle and pinned on temporary sleeves; I was amazed how quickly they could transform the dress into what I was envisioning. I purchased the dress confidently.It took several months for the dress to arrive, but I was informed immediately of its arrival and scheduled the first of my fittings. For the next few months, I worked with their expert seamstress who made my dress fit me like a glove, even as I continued to lose weight. The sleeves she added were more intricate than they originally showed me and I was so thankful of the extra work she put in. Her attention to detail was astounding and it was clear to me that she treated every dress like it was her own wedding dress. Even when I asked for last-minute changes (making the sleeves removable), she got it done in three days, in time for me to pick it up for the wedding.There was never a time when I walked in that I wasn’t overwhelmed by the staff’s kindness. Wedding planning is extremely stressful, but my visits to Designer Loft became a welcomed break from all the craziness. Here, I knew I was in good hands. They made me feel beautiful and confident, and by the time of my last fitting, I felt like friends with the entire staff.Yes, Designer Loft is more expensive than other options in the city. However, they are willing to work with your budget, and their outstanding service was well-worth the added price. I assure you, you won’t be making a mistake picking Designer Loft as your wedding dress boutique.

I said yes to the dress!!! Very glad I came across Designer Loft. I had an amazing experience here. My consultant listened to what I had to say and what I was looking for in a dress. She took her time with letting me try on multiple dresses and 2 a few times until I was able to make a final decision. She worked within my budget and didn’t make me feel rushed or that what I was able to afford wasn’t good enough (I have experienced this at other bridal salons). I would highly recommend Designer Loft!!!

I had the best experience with Designer Loft! They were so easy to work with throughout the entire process - from finding my dress, scheduling fittings, they know what theyre doing! Natasha did a fantastic job with my alterations, and I always felt like I was in good hands. Really happy with my choice to work with Designer Loft, highly recommend to brides!

AWFUL WORK! I paid $700 for alterations and had about 4 fittings and my dress still didn’t fit right. Not to mention they were rude during all of my fittings.... which I could have tolerated if they still fit my dress right!!!!! I wish I never went here to get my dress. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS

I went to Designer Loft with a friend to help her shop for a wedding dress. We spoke via phone with Liz who set us up with an appointment. Liz was very kind and responsive which made us comfortable with our decision to shop at this location. This dress boutique is a real gem! The staff is friendly, helpful and very attentive. We were assisted by Ali and she made sure that she listened to our needs and noted the style we were going for. She pulled some very perfect dresses and even suggested some personal additions that can be made during alterations. In the end my friend chose a gorgeous dress that started out as something very simple, but with Alis help and additions it is the absolute perfect dress to complement the style and mood we were going for. I would HIGHLY recommend this beautiful NYC dress boutique to anyone that wants to find a wonderful wedding dress and wants to have an awesome experience at the same time. The atmosphere is welcoming and you do not feel pressured in to something you may not want. I noticed that all of the bridal professionals at Designer Loft LISTENED to their clients and asked them how they were feeling about the dresses they tried on. This helped a lot because my friend is pretty shy and she was able to express herself comfortably. Speaking to Ali was like speaking to a friend. If you are looking for the perfect dress, go to Designer Loft! They are the best!

This place is awesome. Found the dress of my dreams for a great price. The sales women werent pushy AT ALL and let me try on as many dresses as I wanted. The seamstress is also amazing! Working with them has been the easiest part of my wedding planning. Definitely recommend

Although I ultimately purchased my dress elsewhere, my appointment at Designer Loft was a very pleasant experience. This was my first wedding dress shopping experience and Liz was very professional and polite. She let me browse through the dresses on my own and helped me narrow down a silhouette. She didnt rush me or push me into purchasing a dress on the spot, which I did appreciate. I cant comment on the rest of the process, but there is an in-house tailor available to do alterations.

It had been several months that I was looking for a unique dress from well-known designer Eliza Jane Howell, who is based in London, and I happily discovered that Designer Loft NYC was the showroom that carried Eliza Jane Howell Designs. They accommodated me immediately and gave me an appointment the next day. I worked with consultant Eileen and described my vision and desire to her and she offered a few nice options but most of the available gowns were size 8-10 and I needed a smaller size. With there being no time to order because my wedding was approaching quickly, she suggested a very beautiful gown that at first I thought was a little too embellished being fully beaded, but I tried it and voila! It was really perfect in every way; size, look, and it did not look too rich at all because the cut of the dress was pretty minimal. I want to give a big, Thank You to Eileen for understanding me, she gave me the right suggestion at the right time. In addition to that, the dress was also on sale so I had an amazing deal. Everyone was very efficient at the showroom, and I would highly recommend Designer Loft to any bride who knows what she wants and who appreciates professional guidance and timely execution.

My consultant Annie from Designer Loft was INCREDIBLE. I shopped at about 6 other stores/appointments, ranging from custom ideation to designer-direct, high end, to dress-warehouse types. I found nothing, and by the time I made it to Annie, I was at the end of my rope. I was on dress overload, but Annie listened with empathy and heard me- she pulled a few dresses, and sure enough, she found The One. She was so warm, super professional, and clearly knew her stuff. Of all the consultants I met with, Annie was by far the best, and my experience at Designer Loft was the best. I will be sending all my future bride friends directly to her!

Terrible experience here. I dealt with a woman who was about nine and half months pregnant so she probably wasnt thrilled to be at work but it made our experience really awful. First, she sat down and wanted to know EXACTLY what kind of dress I wanted. I explained that I was open to a few different styles and really needed to try things on to see what looked best on me before I could decide. I came prepared with pictures and explanations and did my best to show here the options I was most interested in exploring but she was not satisfied with any of my answers. It was so awkward. I asked if we could walk the wall so I could show her some things I was thinking of trying on and the very first dress I pulled out she said, NO, absolutely not. Um...ok? Very weird response from someone who is supposed to be in customer service. Then she proceeded to bring in dresses for me to try on that were so far from what I described in an obvious way. I wanted either strapless or thicker straps that went into a v-neck and either completely plain or lace. She brought in spaghetti strap dresses covered in beads. Overall waste of time and very bad customer service.

I felt the need to leave a review having read some very mixed reviews. I am a bride from Europe and visited the Designer Loft in April to see their range of Rosa Clara dresses specifically as that designer is unavailable in my own country. They have a fabulous range of dresses and I found my dream dress on my first visit. Liz and her staff have been incredibly helpful dealing with everything from a long distance and arranged to have the dress couriered no problem. I would highly recommend this store as I felt I was not paying for a glamorous,fancy facade but a good service and selection of dresses.

I came from out of state after speaking with Liz who was out of the country but still so responsive and wonderful to work with. The dress was held off for me and found my perfect dress. The entire experience with the staff was smooth and wonderful

I’ve worked with Paulette and Liz, the owners of Desinger Loft, for several years. They are very knowledgeable about wedding gowns and always have a beautiful selection of dresses. I’ve witnessed many happy brides to be purchasing the dress of their dreams at the beautiful shop they have in NYC. I highly recommend making Designer Loft the first stop in your wedding shopping list. Most brides find “the” dress on their first shopping trip. Designer Loft should be your first and final stop.

I went with my niece who was looking for a dress. The staff was magnicient..very helpful and accommodating. Many beautiful dresses.

The initial experience I had was great, the sales consultant ( I think his name was Oscar) was attentive and listened to what I liked and found me my gown!..Unfortunately everything after that was pretty negative.. The customer service needs a LOT of work.. I had a consultant hang up in my face and the manager explain it as “she must have been busy” Overall it just left a bad taste in my mouth.. From the one consultant being rude to the manager that dismissed it all...The only saving grace was Virginia.. she was very nice and I wish I had only dealt with her the whole time..Will not be going through them for Alterations and would not recommend .. because planning your wedding is stressful enough.. the gown is supposed to be one of the exciting parts!!! :/The 2 stars are for Oscar, Virginia and my gown lol.

I rarely write reviews but I read them (especially with something like wedding dress shopping) so I figured I should share my experience.I went for the Rosa Clara Trunk Show (7.27.19) and was shown absolutely NO Rosa Clara dresses. I was told by the consultant that the designer wasnt for me and that her dresses are more bohemian in style which frankly is absurd. They wouldnt even look at the photos of RC dresses I wanted to try (which they TOLD ME TO BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?!). My mom and sister are convinced they didnt really have them (or only had really old ones) or else wouldnt they want to try to make a sale?They never offered us a beverage (re no coffee, no champagne, not even water). However, the consultant got herself water which was odd? They put my in a variety of other dresses all which looked very very worn. And idk maybe this is normal? But all the stains and broken straps/threads just weirded me out.The dresses they did put me in were nice/fine - however I have upcoming appointments booked at Lovely Bride and The One Bridal so this appointment was really last minute and JUST about the RC Trunk Show. And like another bride - the dresses were on the small side (and Im a 4 so.....).Further, the place could use some sprucing and a deep clean. All in all, a hard pass. I wouldve been more disappointed had I not read the poor reviews ahead of time to prepare myself.Bottom line - ladies, there are better wedding dress shopping experiences to be had in New York City. Dont settle for this vendor.

Awesome service!! As a foreign bride, schedule and fittings were always a concern but Raquel and Natasha were just great, always willing to change appointments and do all the fittings in just a couple of days for me. Bridal collection is just amazing, I was looking for something modern, chic, and totally different to want you can easily find in other stores and they had it, the perfect dress for my perfect day, totally recommended!!

I visited several bridal boutiques in NYC and NJ and I can honestly say I had the best experience at Designer Loft Bridal. Jamie is amazing. Shes friendly, overly accommodating with my hectic schedule, honest (which you need someone to be when youre investing in a wedding dress) and helped me find my dream dress by the designer, Galit Levy. Galit also came in to meet me for my 2nd appointment and made me feel so special. I could not recommend these ladies and this boutique more. Thank you all so much for contributing to my dream.

This boutique nailed it! My wedding is 6 months away so I was a bit nervous and stressed when I arrived. Particularly after the two earlier shopping experiences where I was told it was impossible to order a dress in time and pressured to take ill fitting dresses that were on hand. Virginia totally reassured me she could get a dress in time and not to panic. I ended up loving a high neck Rosa Clara gown appropriately called Dream. This was a lovely non pushy experience and I ended up finding something beautiful and so comfortable. Stay tuned for fittings but I could not have asked for better experience. Highly Recommend!

They have a good tailor on staff, who is generally better priced than other tailors in Manhattan. Sometimes she has her assistant do the work, its better if she does it herself, not the assistant.Unfortunately they have a very pushy sales staff.I would go back for the tailor, not necessarily to shop there.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible and crooked. First they mismeasure me and have to rush a new dress and then I get a dress (at a new price for a supposedly new dress) and discover it has been altered already without my knowledge.First issue was that whoever measured me thought I was 3 inches smaller than I actually am. Since I somehow doubt my ribcage grew 3 inches in diameter during 5-6 months, I have no idea how you measure so poorly. So I go to try on the dress only to discover I cant even get it on. They remeasured me and ended up ordering a 10 (the first dress was a 2).I get my new dress within 2-3 weeks which made me wonder why the first took so long to begin with. Try it on, seems fine, and take it to my seamstress at home. She discovers immediately that not only has the brand new dress have work done on it without my knowledge or consent but the work is bad. My guess is that they couldnt get the correct size in time and rather than returning my deposit or coming clean they tried to fix the situation and hope I wouldnt notice.This is not some half-off sale dress - I spent over $2000 on this dress expecting to be buying something new. Somehow they couldnt even get that right. My experience with them speaks to more than incompetence: this is just crooked behavior. I am shocked. After the moment I gave these people my money it has been one horrible surprise after another.Do yourself a favor and stay away. And if you do go maybe check the seams before you pay for your item.

This will be my ONE negative review of my wedding day. The dress selection was a painless, lovely experience. (Of course it was, they want a sale!) I went in thinking I wanted a certain dress, and when my sister said she wasnt satisfied with it, my consultant pulled two more dresses and the 2nd was perfect. Bought it that day. Despite poor alterations reviews, I eventually decided to get the alterations there. Things started out fine, but at my final fitting, 4 days before my wedding, my dress was not done. They had explanations: one of the seamstresses is at the hospital.... weve had so much work.... etc etc etc. Sorry, my wedding is in 4 days, I DONT CARE about your staff issues. The one seamstress they had left, Natasha, was in a HUGE rush, missing details that I had to point out to her. Natasha was a sweetheart at all of the other fittings, until I started having issues at the final fitting. She kept arguing that its fine, its fine, thats the way the dress is. I spent 5 stressful hours in the city that day, hoping it would be finished in time. There were so many concerns at the final fitting, I had to return 2 MORE times the same day to have them finish the dress, and it STILL was not right on my wedding day. The rippling under the bust from the sloppy additions of steel boning, which they assured me would disappear with steaming (yeah right), will annoy me in my wedding photos, well, forever. All of those photos will need to be retouched. Even with double-stick tape, the cap sleeves they added for me, while beautiful, were annoyingly slipping throughout the reception. These are small things that no one probably noticed but me and my very annoyed sister, but Im the one they should be trying to please, and I wasnt. I was in that dress SIX TIMES for them, and it still wasnt right. A lot of money for an imperfect dress. At least the manager (I think?), Liz, who was there for my final fitting was trying to remain calm and rational, but that didnt help my dress much. Bottom line: get the dress here, theyre lovely. GO ELSEWHERE FOR ALTERATIONS. Never mind, dont go there for the dress, either. Some of the consultants are VERY strange. I mean, who in their right mind sells designer wedding dresses in a brightly colored muumuu?

From the moment I called to make an appointment the service was amazing. Liz the owner communicated with me personally to help me try on a dress I had been trying to track down for some time. Oscar was my consultant, his imput was great and helped me picked the dress that was right for me. He was flexible and accomodating and patient to my indecisiveness. The selection was beautiful could not have asked for more.

Got my dress here and tailored by Natasha. Their dresses are beautiful and affordable its a wonderful low pressure sales environment and Natasha was amazing with the tailoring. My dress was PERFECT.

Usually I avoid reviews unless I am asked, but a wedding is precious to most brides and we cherrish the memories of the preparation for the wedding so I am compelled to advise them.Very discourteous staff which is not what a bride needs in planning their special day and spending a very generous amount of money to do so. However, there are positives! I was initially attended to by a young lady called Wendy; she went out of her way to get dresses that was not available in time for my fitting. I really appreciated that.

This is a very unorganized salon. I walked in with another group of people who checked in. When it was my turn to check in, one of the lady just simply told me to wait in the same area as the other group. So I waited, and waited and waited. The big group finally went in to start their appointment. I was left sitting there. At this point it was about 10-15 mins pass my appointment. I was also answering emails on my phone and wasnt keeping track of time. Until about 20 mins went by until someone finally came over and said something to me. I told them my name and she said I was late so I told them I came in 20 mins ago but other lady told me to wait here and didnt check me in. She gave me a look like I was lying. Needless to say, I wasnt buying my gown here.
