Something has to be said about the quality and customer service at Blatt. Im an architect and I worked on a condo project in NYC where the client wanted custom pool tables in their amenity space, and it seemed like Blatt Billiards was the place to go to get it done. From the beginning stages of custom design, to hand-selecting the wood veneer patterns, colors and orientation...the process was smooth, thorough, and incredibly professional. I personally appreciate a good pool table so this was such a treat for me to work with and meet the entire line of (family-run) folks working to make this happen. From Steve and Brian at the showroom to Bruce with whom I had the pleasure to work with at the fabrication factory. Everyone was incredibly quick to get things moving and more than kind and generous throughout the entire process. Ive never worked with such a great group of individuals who value quality in the craft of building, while offering stellar customer service. Cant share a higher recommendation to do business with these guys and I look forward to our next project together!

We entrusted the full restoration of our late 19th Century Brunswick Balke Collender Popular model table to the Roeder family at Blatt Billiards. From the start of our initial visit with David and Steve Roeder in NYC, followed by a trip to the NJ shop and a tour by Bruce Roeder and his son, Jeff, through the series of decisions to be made with Jeff, who led the project, the experience was an enjoyable one throughout. Jodi, who handled scheduling, and Angel and Chuck, who first disassembled and returned three months later to set it up are all true professionals. Watching Angel spend a good 2 hours just on leveling the table underscored their care in getting it right. The attention to detail throughout the project was exceptional. Our table has now been restored to a jewel-like appearance and plays with a liveliness that we had never enjoyed in 30+ years it has been in our family. There is only one Blatt Billiards.

I phoned ahead to see if they had a cue I was interested available. A very pleasant guy named Dave answered the phone & provided extraordinary customer service when I got there. He actually let me shoot a couple of balls in to get a feel of the product which was very nice by the way (I went in for a predator cue). Needless to say my original plan was to show up ask some questions and get a feel of the cue. By all means the mission was accomplished & at the end of my visit I ended up walking home with it! As a young and relatively new homeowner, I have always dreamed of having a classy billiards table in my home. The problem, however, was that I had no idea where to begin. A quick Google search led me to Blatt Billiards (Blatt) - the highly rated, handcrafted billiards table maker. Further research revealed that Blatt caters not only to the common man (and woman), but also to the upper echelon from the Beverly Hills to Tribeca. I finally gave in and spoke with a highly professional and well versed man by the name of Brian I believe. I discussed well in depth the dimensions of my soon-to-be billiards room, my budget, and generally what my ideal billiards table would look like. Brian knew exactly the direction to lead me in, and so I decided to walk into the showroom the very same day to see what he had in mind. My eyes were met with a sea of luxury billiards tables, perfectly handcrafted much like the temples of ancient Greece. I was given a personal tour of the showroom by owner, Steve. As a side note, the connection between Steve and Brian was really special - I hold family owned businesses in high regard and I knew immediately that I would be treated like family. I went inside and they treated me as if I didnt matter. I dont know if its cause I have brown skin or if I didnt look wealthy. The thing I was looking for, they were trying to sell me a used item as the same price is if was new. When I said something, then the guy lowers the price of the item. I will never give this place my business and will not recommend this to anyone who has dark skin. Shame on Blatt Billiards.

My husband and I recently bought a new-build home and in the hopes of making this house our dream home, we discussed the possibility of having a pool table.
