They are nice enough and the repair work they did on my electric scooter was fine. However I will never buy parts from them again. I needed a new battery. They charged $200 for it not counting the $30 to install it. They said it was an LG battery, it wasn’t. They would not guarantee it for more than 30 days. 41 days after they put it in, the battery died. I’m assuming they use grey market parts. But even if they don’t, a $200 battery should last longer than 41 days.

I went there to get my right brake fixed, they asked me for 50. I paid and after i get home, brake wasn’t FIXED like it should have been at all. 2 weeks after that, i got a flat tire. I went there to get it fixed, they asked 100 for a brand new tire and new inner tube. I paid and they gave me my nanrobot d6+ Scooter. I swear on everything i love, when i get back home, flat tire again. They made me think i got a brand new tired and but they gave me an inner tube with a hole already as you can see in the pictures. SAME DAY! Whenever you go there to get something fixed, they tell you to come back in a few hours while they’re making your bike/scooter worse than it was! Trash company! Do not go there! Still up to this day, my right brake is not fixed, those chinese people are scamming in delancey!

Brought my E-bike that was having a motor shortage here to diagnose the issue. He diagnosed immediately and fixed my problem quickly and efficiently. Super nice guy and very knowledgeable with great communication. Definitely returning to him for any future issues or upgrades with my bike.

I came from Philadelphia this morning with my Nanrobot D4+ and my Nanrobot D6+. Both had issues that required opening the deck and manipulating the sensitive wires inside to change the front disk and bolt stabilizers. The mechanic took a few minutes to show me what was wrong and when it was fixed a few hours later showed me what he had done and how it worked like new. Reasonable rates considering the cost to ship to China for repairs from the original company. Thanks Bikeman!

Went to this shop to replace my gotrax gxl v2 tires. this very rude lady at the shop said it would cost $70 for both honeycomb tires (which seems reasonable) repair. She tried to pull a fast one and tried to make me pay $140 for the repair. Double the price. Thats unfuckingbelievable. So I went and did the repair myself. Do yall self a favor and find a better shop. They will never see me again

Went to two different scooter repairs and they gave me expensive diagnosis which was not even the problem. They made me order a new battery about $400 worth and the other one said it was controllers. I took it to Bikeman and they found out the problem was simply the throttle/lcd display. Thank you Bikeman!! They saved me from spending unecessary money. Ill keep the battery for spare.

Brought my gotrax scooter this am to change to airless tires and remove stripped screws. They said it was going to be 2 hours got the job done in an hour and 20 mins. My job cost 90$ but it saved me tons of aggravation and also I did not have some of the tools that requires to get his job done. Replacing scooter tires is no where near as easy as replace any bicycle tires.

I’ve been here in the past and was over charged for a scooter tire $45 and $15 for the tube, despite that I decided to Give them another shot so I went there to purchase another new inner tube to my shock just 3 weeks later the price had increased from $15 to $20Then when I asked why the increase in price, the store employee stated that there was only 2 pieces in stock and that was the cause of the price increase which I find to be disgusting.. I was able to go just a few blocks away and purchased my item for regular retail price... please stay away from this store.. they are not nice people

The lady who works at Bike-man shop speaks very rudely to me when communicating in Mandarin Chinese while I was going to get my brake fixed, I changed my mind when she spoke very arrogantly and talks down to me as if I’m retarded when explaining about how my electric scooter works. I can tell she was not brought up very well and probably got her negative attitude from her boss and takes it out on potential customers. Not coming back here to help her business. They can sure fix things, but they lack manners and are not the kindest when it comes to customers.

I got my Xiaomi scooter front tired replaced from here for $40. I thought the price was reasonable but my surprise came when I came back after an hour to pick up my scooter. The bell was missing and they kept saying that I came in with no bell. I told them that was imposible I came in with a ringing bell which they didnt have to touch in order to replace a front wheel. That led me to think that they could have tampered with other parts. So I checked the battery compartment which has never been opened before and I saw a fee scuff marks on every screw from one of the sides and no scuff marks from the other side so I dont know for sure if it was tampered with or my battery was replaced.I give the two star because Im skeptical as to their honesty, first by saying and reassuring that when I came in I had no bell and second not knowing if they switched other parts for older ones. Its a sad way to start off with new customers and hoping for them to come back. So I will seek another shop next time. Though my front tire was replaced...hope all goes well after this including not seeing a change in my battery performance.

Bike man is the real deal. At first when I walked in I was a little funny about the place cause its small and hes in the back working on scooter, but let me tell you the bike man is the place to go and get worked on your scooter.. My D6+ is on the road running like new again.

The quote I was given over the phone for a simple brake pad adjustment on my scooter was $10. When I arrived, they quoted me $15. Whatever, it is what it is. The lady who greeted me was sorta nice but the guy who was fixing the scooters was a bit of a jerk. I’ll probably go back though because in the end, the job was done and it was done correctly. Customer service is lacking though.

Great place to buy gear and stuff to secure your scooter with. I had an issue with a disk brake alarm (It worked fine it just wasnt compatible with my scooter) and they were happy to help me by exchanging it for a kryptonite chain of equal value. Will come again =)Update: recently had to get a wheel replaced on my scooter and they were able to replace the tire within the same day. The solid tire is working great to this day. These guys are awesome at what they do and I reccomend them to anybody 😉

I called and asked if theyd change tires on electric scooters, which they did. Showed up there couple of days later and they took care of it in 2 hours. I had my filled tires with me/bought them beforehand and I paid 40 dollars per tire for them to put them on, which is I think cheap since Id been calling around different shops and some of them were charging 125 dollars per tire. I know they sell filled Scooter tires and they charge 40 dollars for 1 tire, same tire goes for 28 dollars-ish on Amazon so I made the choice of buying mine there since I wasnt in a rush to get them but if you want your pneumatic tire gone asap they carry those. Fast and professional service which I would recommend.

I went there today to have my swagtron swagger 5 scooter front tire removed and replace it with a solid tire which I also had with me. They charged me $40 to remove the old tire and install the new solid tire. $40 is kinda of high just to only remove and install a tire. Its not like they had to remove the whole front tire from the scooter because I only took the whole front tire with rim and new solid tire with me to the shop. But then again, I cant complain since they did the job in 30 minutes instead of an hour. The lady who runs the front of the business is really nice and welcoming. I would recommend anyone who has an electric scooter to check them out. I would prefer you call or google message them first just in case they cant fix the problem. Glad I had google message them before going.

This guys are awesome . They know what they are doing. The price are cheaper and the merchandise is of quality. They change my wifes electric bike tire with an electric motor quickly and price is a lot of cheaper than any mechanics. They have excellent customer service, friendly and prompt. Last week I stopped in to Bike Man Bike shop and spoke to woman who was very nice and helpful. I wanted to replace my scooter front tire with a solid front tire. I was given a price of 75 dollars for the complete job so I had tire replaced.We I arrived home I noticed they had removed my original front tire (Motor tire 8 1/2 inch M365 scooter) and replace it with a used Front tire motor. The reason i know they switched them was because My Brand new ( purchased a week ago) front tire had a QR code (square bar code) and the tire they installed was used with no bar code. They kept my Brand new front tire, inner tube and wheel motor.in addition they did not give me my original tire and inner tube ($40 value) I called the same day and spoke to lady who was nice and explained that they installed a used front motor wheel on my scooter and kept my new wheel. The woman put a man on the phone who was very rude and yelled at me saying I am a lier.I you go here for repair be careful...

Sadly their customer service is nonexistent. I had a tuneup and asked for them to install a replacement controller for $20.The tuneup: I’m used to the shop calling and saying if I need new brake pads or something repaired what the additional price would be. But when I returned they just said I didn’t pay for new pads. They didn’t check to see if I needed new things or offer to replace them for a fee. I asked and he said in a month I’d need new pads.... I would have rather just gotten new ones in the tune up. This is my closest ebike store - I was hoping for a place near me that I could regularly go to. But they argue with you so much I won’t be back.Installing the controller: he texted me that they got an error message- I looked up the message and it meant that a cable was loose.When I brought the bike in nothing was loose, so it sounds like when they put on the new controller something happened. They said one of my pins in the cable was bent. Well they weren’t bent before! Now I wonder if they bent a pin reconnecting the cables. Also I noticed the rubber stopper that holds all of the cables in the frame was not inserted back in. So I’ll have to spend time now jamming that back in when that should have been part of the controller install.Summary:Their prices are fine and the work srems good enough- but they are too hard to deal with and you leaving wondering what exactly was done to your bike....

CAVEAT EMPTOR -- the price you are quoted ($10 for replacing a tire tube that I brought) on the phone will NOT be the price they charge when you bring your bicycle in ($25!!!). Insane price for changing a a tire tube when you bring your own -- especially for a single-gear bicycle. Whats really frustrating is, that as a repeat customer, who already paid $15 for a changing a child stroller tire tube (I brought my own tire tube at that time as well) that took UNDER 1 minute, this guy wouldnt give me a $5 discount. Instead, he sarcastically offered to lend me the tools for $7 to change the tire tube myself. He asked me to assess how long itd take me to do it, and said changing a rear bike tube doesnt make business sense for him unless I paid him $25. Really disappointing -- seriously. Almost felt extortionate, especially given how I previously paid him $15 for 1 minute of labor.Also, for other potential clients seeing the other 5-star reviews on Google, notice how there is only 1 review from each account -- these guys create dummy accounts to give themselves a higher rating. Yup, thats the business model of this joint.
