I dont necessarily have much experience with quality sleeping but I love an experience where Im able to make a quality purchase and learn as well. Roger is personable in a way where you dont feel like youre being sold but youre learning about what creates a quality well being purchase.I had the opportunity to learn about head and neck positioning, and how it impacts your breathing to create what is a good nights rest. We are thrilled with our Obasan organic 10 inch latex mattress. We were looking for a 100% organic mattress and this one is fully GOTS and GOLS certified. Its definitely worth the investment especially with the 20 year guarantee! Roger was our salesperson and he was very patient and helpful in helping us choose the right mattress and configuration! Roger also kept us informed regarding the delivery (even while he was on vacation!) which unfortunately incountered some delays due to the holidays as the Obasan factory is closed in late December. We also love Obasans 180 day comfort guarantee. It made us comfortable in committing to this luxury mattress! One small suggestion is to have the mattresses packed in more sturdy boxes as a few of the boxes arrived very broken but luckily the mattresses were in perfect condition. Thank you again, Roger!

I’ve ordered online as well as in store, and I’ve always had a great experience. I’ve purchased several bedding items over the years, and all were high quality.I purchased pillows from the retail location, and the sales person helped me to select the correct pillows based on how I sleep as well as my preferences. For example, I had previously purchased pillows from another company that was filled with wool, however I found that they got too hot, and he suggested organic cotton. He also allowed me to test the pillows in a sanitary way, and as a surprise bonus; once switching to organic cotton pillows from generic man made fiber pillows, I no longer wake up with itchy eyes.

Was amazed to find a showroom in NYC that focused on a variety of brands of organic bedding. The store is compact, but packed with a range of mattresses and other organic bedding products. They provide a place to actually try out these different options, but most important they are knowledgable and not pushy. We love what we purchased from them. Highly recommended.

He explained in detail the differences between different bedding materials and why a person would prefer one over another. I didnt feel rushed at all and enjoyed my experience here. You cannot get better customer service than in this small, tucked-away store. Roger, Brian, Tom et al really do everything to make sure youre happy with what is going to be an expensive mattress. They take care that youre as well informed as possible because their beds are high-ticket; and they stand behind what they sell: toxin-free, conscientiously green, superbly constructed beds. One caveat: the trial period, while attractive, does not mean they will take a mattress return. They dont, unless you can prove some defect. They will allow you to swap out for something else in the store, but you will pay a lot for the exchange. Also, we bought the most expensive mattress in the store at a hair-raising price, but frankly I think you will be just as satisfied with the lower-priced ones.

Went there last night and Im giving them a four, because I dont trust 5-star reviews. I was leery to lay down and try out pillows, but once I started couldnt stop. I also found out the owner (who helped me/ works in the store a few days a week) donates to charity (which is important to me).Listened in on another customers experience and was in awe of how much history there is about mattresses. Definitely a great place to shop with no pressure from sales.

I purchased an organic bed and high-end frame from this store. This is not an ordinary bed (kaaaaching!!!!) and I needed information and education on my purchase. Roger was my sales person and was knowledgable, helpful, and patient. The delivery and installation (third party company) could have gone better, but Brian was a contact from the last time I dealt with Clean Bedroom (after they changed management, thank goodness), and was right there to resolve the situation. You spend such a large proportion of your time in you bed, and your body should be regenerating at night, not soaking in harmful chemicals.A friend recommended Royal Pedic Organic mattresses. My husband and I went to the showroom to look at the mattress and see what other options there were. The showroom has a bunch of bed options to try, including pillows and organic bedding samples. It is a good place to go if you are looking for a more natural bedroom. We were able to try the Royal Pedic and liked it. We went ahead with the purchase.We are extremely pleased with the mattress and the service we received. Our salesperson, Brian was very responsive, even via email afterwards. And we love our mattress and topper, our sleep quality has actually improved!
