We took delivery of our lovely Innovation convertible sofa yesterday. The installation was quickly and carefully done. We were quite pleased with the entire experience. We had gone to another store ready to buy and were ignored for about 40 minutes. They said it would be a month or more for delivery. We left and found Futonland. Nas was amazing. He was attentive and considerate to everyone who came in. We found the same convertible sofa, in a better color, in stock in the Futonland warehouse. It couldnt have been a better experience.

Dirty store, rude service!Note to the owners comment below: To ensure the comfort and safety for everyone, how about you start cleaning the filth in your store and off the presented couches? Do you have any idea of the amount of GERMS sitting on the furniture surfaces? You also need a better ventilation to ensure clean air.
I ordered my futon from FutonLand. They mixed up colors when delivering after saying they had no other colors. They then picked up the one they left at my place and I used for a week to hand off to someone else who probably knows nothing about me using it. I asked for a full refund and in the end they kept +$200 of my money. I ended up finding the same sofa elsewhere online for cheaper. Thanks FutonLand!
Horrible experience..... I placed a online order and item was not in stock . Customer service rep informed me I had time to cancel the order because I haven’t been charged . I canceled next day due to delivery time frame before I was charged . I noticed a week later after I canceled the order this company charged my card for the full item amount just to be able to charge me a restocking fee for a item that was never in stock . Be aware !!! Still haven’t spoken to a store manager to receive my full refund. Just keep getting the run around . Customer service is -100% .
I actually found them and ordered online after finding out that they carry Innovation Living furniture which is high-quality, ingenious, functional furniture. I got the Recast convertible sofa and couldnt be happier. It was a better deal than modern furniture stores had locally (I live in the Atlanta area) for the same product and delivery was quicker than anticipated.
Absolutely Horrible Experience!!!!. I went to Futonland to purchase a couch and a love seat. I was debating between 2 different sets. The one I wanted was out of stock. Elvin, the customer service rep told me he made a call to his manager and that the manager verified that they have the unit I wanted in stock. He also told me that he would call me back on Monday to verify. No call was made. Wednesday comes and the couch is delivered. Im thinking it is the one that was talked about the previous Saturday. The furniture is packed in boxes. I begin to open it and I find out that It was the second unit that I was looking at but did not agree on ( Even the paperwork does not match up). I call back and explain the dilemma and Elvin tells me that I had agreed to the second one when no such agreement was made. The manager Eddie then calls and tries to tell me the same thing. Eventually, they agree to replace the unit and tell me that they are doing me a favor even though they messed up. They wrote my name incorrectly on the invoice, The wrote down the wrong email address. They messed up on all of my contact information. The second unit arrives. I am surprised by the love seat and couch are packaged differently. The couch is packed with green Styrofoam and paper just like from a factory and the love seat was packed in clear film and blankets which the delivery guys take back. By the time the delivery guys take out the old set and bring in the new one, its already 8:30 at night. I just tell them to leave it and I will assemble the furniture myself. As soon as I open up the love seat, I see that the railing is dented and the love seat is slashed across. Then I begin to understand. They sent me a floor model love seat that was already damaged and charged me as much as for a new one and a brand new couch. (Pictures will be attached to this post.) I call the following morning to Futonland and tell them what happenedEddie, the second person in charge accuses me of slashing the couch on purpose. The couch is still packaged. The love seat is only open half way. I have and will not use this furniture. I do not need it nor want it!!! And they refuse to take back their defective furniture. He is a horrible manager!! Should not even have a job . I have attempted to talk to someone higher than him in command and no answer either. Ever since,( Its been close to 5 weeks) I have called multiple times asked for Eddie to call me back. No response. FutonLand has not worked with me to resolve this. I have this transaction on dispute with my credit card company. I have filed a complaint against this business with the BBB, Consumer Affairs NYC and with the FTC. I advise no one to buy furniture with them from any of the locations they have in NYC. They are a horrible furniture company!!!The only pleasant thing about them were the delivery drivers.Eddie the CEO is a Horrible manager.
We wanted to order a Night and Day Sagebrush Murphy Cabinet Bed. Online, it was on sale at a very good price, but their delivery policies for NY say they will not deliver to buildings with time restrictions or those that require a certificate of insurance (COI) - my co-op requires both. I contacted their UWS store and spoke with Nas. He was able to order to bed at the same on-line price and could provide white glove delivery with time restrictions and COI in addition to assembly and placement in our unit for $139. The bed was ordered over the phone with a credit card, We immediately got an email receipt with instructions for submitting the time/COI requirements by email to Futonland. Delivery was scheduled within a week. The completed COI forms were sent 24 hours prior as requested (we received an email copy) and were informed the evening before of the 3 hour delivery time window and received a call 10 mins prior to delivery. Everything in the process including the delivery people) were quick, professional and done well. We cannot say how pleased we were with the service we got and the final product. Went into the store and had a very fast and easy experience! The sales person was super nice and helpful, but not pushy or annoying. We were able to set up delivery within one week and it was delivered and set up today. Overall great stress free experience! They made buying a sofa so easy!

Very bad quality furniture and they dont honor the warranty you purchase. Couch broke within the first year, they sent someone to “fix it”, guy was only talking nonsense and never sent anyone else.
I recently moved into a new apartment. It’s small and cozy so I didn’t have the room for a bulky couch. I love futons and had been looking for a nice one for some time. My parents love the furniture at Futonland because they have quality pieces that look amazing. My parents purchased the Santa Cruz Java Full Futon Set for my apartment. This was an excellent choice. This is a quality piece and doesn’t look like junk. It’s comfortable, well constructed and it’s sturdy. I entertain a lot so I wanted a durable set. This futon is so elegant and adds character to my new apartment. My friends are always complimenting me about the futon because it looks like I spent a fortune on it. Now I see why my parents love Futonland so much.

Its a high quality material, the staff was very helpful, and I was able to totally customize it. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. This is an honest no BS review! I dont work for Futonland and nor do I know anyone there. I did my on line research but bought the Rio couch over the phone w/ Michelle M because I had to arrange a short delivery schedule and i had some questions. She was awesome--nice, professional, informative and no nonsense. I ordered on a Wed and it arrived before 11am on Sat 3 days later. The delivery guys were also awesome--quick neat, and also very nice. We are thrilled with the couch which was 100% as advertised and we love it. A++ all around! Thank you Futonland!

I ordered a dining set and a futon online. I received a confirmation call and email promptly and a friendly representative helped me when my choice of color for the futon was not available. There was a slight issue with the delivery day but I dealt with it. I paid for assembly and the two men did a great (quick) job. The futon and dining set look great in my new apartment!
I asked for insurance on the furniture that I purchased. They said they insured my furniture and months later when I asked to make a claim they told me I didnt insure my furniture. Update: They contacted me and are replacing the arm and also coming to my apartment to do it for me. It is a fair price, so I appreciate how they handled this situation.
The staff at Futonland is absolutely wonderful. I work with clients who are fleeing domestic violence, and due to a last-minute client emergency, I needed to find mattresses for a mother and her five children that could be ordered and delivered in less than 12 hours. I called Futonland and the staff helped me every step of the way. They were patient, kind, accommodating, flexible, and professional, and they arranged for the payment, and delivery of five mattresses for my client and her family all in one afternoon. I cannot say enough about their customer service--they went above and beyond for my client and her children.
Who says futons cant be stylish, fun, and comfy? I ordered a fabulous futon online to liven up one of the rooms in my house. Futonland had so many colors, textures, and styles that it made it hard for me to choose, but I finally settled on one that I absolutely loved. My futon was delivered on time and my futon is even more than what I expected from just viewing it online. Totally happy with my order and my room looks fantastic!
We ordered a Innovation - Reclast Sofa Bed online and immediately got a call to confirm the order and set expectations for delivery. Shortly after, there was a delay with the manufacturer -- and a Customer Service Rep at Futonland was quick to communicate the issue and find a solution. They went above and beyond to get our sofa here as soon as possible -- even expedited the shipment and checked in with us each step of the way. I found them to be very communicative, attentive, and kind through the entire process. (Awesome piece of furniture by the way).

This store has some really fine products, me and my partner ordered them here for our sofa and we couldn’t be happier. The quality and the choice of different kinds of futons was really great and nicely fitting with our home. Futonland sold me exactly the futon that I wanted. They created a custom cover from my desired materials and delivered it quickly and without issue. Im thrilled with it.My condo has a second bedroom, but since I work from home, it has to do double duty as a guest room and an office. I wanted a futon that would be as comfortable as a couch as it is as a bed. Something I could lounge on and feel good letting guest sleep on.The staff at Foutonland was great with helping me get the right futon, and I could not be more pleased with the comfort, construction, and overall quality. I needed a leather convertible sofa for my new, renovated living room and went to Futonland with my gf. We were slightly amazed of how pleasant and informative their staff was to us. We got the needed information fast and he showed us some great sofas. We happen to choose a black, large, leather sofa that met our needs and taste. We got it for a very affordable price, when compared to the other stores we visited previously. It was delivered to us without any problems. Usually customer service is really friendly and helpful. Offering up options and merchandise alternatives. I was having difficulty with their website. So I waited to call the next morning when they were open, to get help with my purchase. But the customer service agent I got was so rude. Their website offers free shipping and I was trying to pic a futon cover that qualified. The guy was so unfriendly. He did not offer options or help me with my purchase at all. When I told him how rude he was being and I just needed help, he actually hung up on me. Very poor customer service. Looks like Ill be giving my money to another company...Amazon? SMH
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! I ordered a futon from this company online. After placing the order, a representative phoned me 24 hours later to discuss what I thought would be the delivery details. Instead, the tried to hard sell me an upgrade by stating that my purchase would be uncomfortable and that I would be sending it back within a week. I ignored her and continued to schedule the delivery. On the morning of the delivery, I discovered that I would soon need to move, so I decided to cancel the delivery so I would have one less thing to worry about. A few days later, I decided to contact Futonland again when I did not see the account on my statement. The gentleman told me the refund had been processed and to call again in 24 hours. I waited 48 hours and called again. The woman who answered the phone placed me on hold and after several minutes I received a message instructing me to leave a message as my call was not able to be answered at that time. I ended up having to file a dispute with my bank. Futonland is not a business I intend to deal with again, and I would suggest the same to others.
Got a new futon here and have been happy with it. Staff was helpful and seemed to know their stuff with some helpful recommendations. Not pushy, which I hate. Do have to complain that there were some delivery issues, but partly due to the weather.
I founded futonland online and I saw some very good prices that was in my budget range. The quality of the leather is in creditable. Very smooth and love that leather smell. The sofas are exactly as seen on photos and as described. The sizes are right and as expected. The delivery was handled quickly and as promised. Overall, very good service.

Avoid purchasing here at all costs. When I arrived I didnt not recieve any help loading furniture. The lady at the register just pointed me in the direction of my furniture and when I asked if someone can help me she simply said NO and that all she can do is open the doors for me. On top of that when i came back to bring a helper she was looking at him as if he was dirt and made him feel very uncomfortable.
My experience working with Futonland was wonderful! I purchased 2 futons with mattresses about 10 years ago and the quality is great, and still very functional. I recently ordered 2 new mattresses from them. They have been in business a long time and still treat me like a new customer. I will be ordering a corner curio and dining room from them next! Additionally, their prices cannot be beat, even by the big name stores. Give them a try!

After doing a bit of research I was unable to find a decent sofa for under $300 as a gift for my daughter. However, we did find the Monterey Full Size Java Futon on Futonland. The quality of the futon is better than expected. As a sofa, it has a high back and is very comfortable. The price we paid includes the mattress upgrade (1 quality up). It was worth the extra money. I cant speak to its comfort as a bed, but I believe it will do the job.

It usually takes a year for a mattress to start bothering my lower back. Its something that always happens in my experience when the mattress becomes too soft in that region. Than I turn it around, flip it and get out of it as much as I can. One of the futons sold here lasted just barely over one month before it started making me wake up with back pain.

I actually purchased a futon from Futonland close to 9 years ago. Its followed me from two apartments and also into my new home when i moved from the city. My mother in law asked to keep it for her spare room. Its my place to sleep when we go visit. Its held up amazingly over the near decade that Ive owned it and been the site of many hours long gaming sessions, movie nights and random family members sleeping over. The staff who sold it to me was attentive and helped me choose the right futon for my needs. With the quality of the product sold there I wouldnt hesitate purchasing or recommending them again.

I am always wary about going into stores, but my experience at Futonland was absolutely amazing! From the second we walked in, we were greeted by Francisco who was patient, and kind and knowledgeable. We fell in love with a sofa but since we live in a studio, we didnt know if it would fit. Francisco didnt pressure us like a lot of sales people have - he let us to our thing and answered all our questions and then some. When we came back a week later to fulfill our order it was seamless.When my couch and mattress were delivered the guys who came to assemble it went above and beyond. They were kind and helpful and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend this place enough. There is a reason they have an A+ on BBB.

Scam beware: Futonland engaged in deceptive advertising and consumer fraud. I ordered a Studio Queen Murphy Cabinet Bed Ash by Arason on August 18, 2017. Immediately thereafter, Matthew from customer support contacted me to let me know they didnt have the item in stock and asked me to select another bed. I refused. I had my heart set out on this particular bed only wanted to purchase this one.Later I called back and spoke with Nas from customer support and he told me they item I wanted could be available sometime in September. I asked for a 10% discount and they refused to honor my request. I then requested a refund for my purchase but they still havent released the funds. Now, Im disputing the charges via PayPal. Plan to file disputes with Better Business Bureau, consumer protection agencies, and Ripoff report. Save yourself a headache. Purchase your furniture items elsewhere.
