Im used to going to a BBB that has two floors, so I was a bit surprised when I realized this on only had one. Got a little lost looking for a filter for my Brita, which they didnt have, but eventually found it. For some reason, during the time I went (7pm on a Thurs) it seemed to only be two individuals working both cashiers, weird. I know the place is small but still. Other than I that, its fine, typical BBB, get what you came for, pay, and go on your merry little way.
Customer service was good. They were very helpful. And had patience first time my son used his own card. Will be back.
I love this store as well, nice people 👍 they help find what youre looking for when you cant find it!!
Clean & orderly store, even though it was less than an hour before closing. Great, high end products that Ive seen on line & wanted to check out in person- pots, pans & Breville juicers! Loved it.
An amazing shopping experience. On Saturday August 29, 2020, my wife and I were in the market shopping for a new dinnerware set. As we were walking along 125th street, we decided to stop at the Harlem location of Bed Bath and Beyond and check out their selection, (which by the way is very extensive). We had settled on a beautiful set, and decided to reach out to someone on the floor to see if the item was in available . We spoke with a manager, who in turn set us up with a gentleman by the name of Dwayne Carter. We showed Dwayne the set that we were interested in, and Dwayne performed a stock check. Unfortunately the set was not in stock and Dwayne then decided to bring us into the Bridal Registry section, informed us to have a seat and make ourselves at home. Dwayne then went ahead and was checking available stock at other Bed Bath and Beyond locations. I was completely floored to see how someone went to such great lengths, in order to serve a customer, and to make sure that he solved their dilemma. Dwayne made several calls and stock checks at other locations, in order to help us find the desired dinnerware set. In a nutshell, by his actions and the way he actually took care of us in order to find the desired set that we fell in love with, he turned us into customers for life of Bed Bath and Beyond.
I would use a zero star rating if possible. I ordered a same-day delivery item and when the order arrived the next day, it had my information on the bag and inside were two items I did not order. They were an order with a confirmation for someone in Florida. Then, I called customer service and spent hours (not exaggerating) on the phone with a customer service agent that was not helpful. She told me that my package is out for delivery...it wasnt. She then told me to return the items that I received by going to a FedEx to drop them off which just creates work for me that is a result of BB&Bs failure. She then said that they would replace the item I ordered after they received those items back in 2-3 weeks. Are you kidding me? I ordered a same-day delivery item. You give me the wrong item, and now I have to do work for you AND wait WEEKS to receive the actual item I ordered? How did this turn into MY responsibility?!?!I called back later to speak to a supervisor, Abby, who was slightly more helpful. She seemed to understand my issue, but then called me back later that evening and said the system was not working and she would send my replacement item early in the morning. It has now been 24 hours with no contact from Abby or anyone from Bed Bath & Beyond. I called customer service back. They put me on hold for ten minutes after I explained the issue and then they disconnected my call. I called back a fourth time and put on hold after speaking with an agent, who told me that no one is available to take my call. This is an embarrassment all the way around and this company should correct this dysfunctional operation and customer service approach.
Store is not as well stocked as its counterparts in other areas. Can never order online and pickup from this store. Escalators are always out of commission. There was only one person working the floor this evening and she was also the only cashier. Would never happen in other areas.
Great customer service! Good prices.
I used to love this BB&B, but the product selection is not what it used to be and theyve been out of stock of the garbage bag for simplehuman garbage. I hope they dont intend to close...
I love how comfortably spaced ailed are so you can distance while browsing. Store was well organized and stocked. Fast checkout and my online order was available in 2 hours for curbside pickup.
Scored with a great sale on candles! 60% off plus my 20% off coupons! 💪🏽Cashier was nice and friendly.
I love this store, because they most of the time have everything I want & need, as well some of the Sales Peoples seem to be nice & helpful! They need to hirer more people to work on the floor to help the customers, they use to have that, but since the Coronavirus, they have few Sales People!Bless all @ Bath Bed & Beyond, stay safe!
I love it we need additional stores on 125 with household items I enjoy shopping there.
The people who work there are great!! My purchase not so much it was broken.
Everything is neat and organized. I love shopping at this store. They were late opening though.
A fun only wish they had more paper goods I dont think they have a variety of items like they have at the other stores
Found every thing I wanted with in minutes of walking in the door. Excellent customer service, but lines were too long.
I LOVE THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ENJOY SHOPPING AT BED BATH & BEYOND, IM HAPPY THAT THEY ARE IN MY COMMUNITY.
Clean, organized, people willing to help you... Excellent.
Nice place half empty witch is always good but always a but. Some inventory just not there.
Apparently they are going out of business. Sad. But there is a major sale happening now. 20 to 50 percent off. The coffee equipment aisle is a revelation. May have to return for that aeropress.
Going out of business. Items were up to 60% off. However not much is left.
My first time visiting this location. Well stocked in spite of the pandemic. Will visit again
Nice variety of products at a reasonable price and theres a TJ Max, downstairs.Cashiers are quick and pleasant.
It was a wonderful experience. I was not sure first because I live far from Harlem. The customer service was great. Raj was a great staff who helped me to pick my curtains and checked with me on line for more options. Also he explained to me the membership discount which was totally worth it because I needed sheets too.He is pleasant, patients and attentive. Thank you Raj for a wonderful experience.
Good prices, but beware of the dates on the food,coffee,etc...things that have an expiration date. I have seen old coffee that had expire, still being sold.....
I didnt know about this location. Not a bad store. It wasnt crowded. Just go there with the name and picture of what youre looking for. I asked for this one particular item. Supposedly they didnt have it. I mentioned the website said they did n showed them it was on their site. They looked it up n they had a bunch at that store. It was partially my fault, but as soon as i showed them, they quickly took me to the section it was at.
This place was very neat and organize. The worker was very helpful when I asked about the comforters sets. I was very much pleased.
I ran in for a showerhead, the store was nice and quiet, the line was super short and I made my purchase and was out in less than 15 minutes. Easy peasy lemon squeezey.
I found some great items here.It was worth the visit.
Great discounts 30-60% off items
I thought they were dead. Was great seeing them alive with same nice things priced nucely.
They dont have anything dont waste your time
The only location in Manhattan to have in stock, what I wanted and the curbside delivery was awesome ! I didnt have to look for a parking space that doesnt exist in Manhattan.
Very helpful staff, polite and considerate. Plus theyll order for you if what you want is not in stock. Great!!!
Worst Costmer sevice bought a macwave an stuff they was too lazy to wrap it up so i can carry it with me out the store !!! I almost fell
Helpful worker to me right to what i was looking for.Didnt get 5 stars becuz they need more than 1 person at checkout
Easy access, Courteous Customer Service, high quality name brand products, discounts on already low prices and quick checkout!
Ordered for pick up. Store is well stocked, decent customer service.
Love Bed Bath & Beyond. I just realized I need to stay away from amazon and shop local before I lose my store.
Always as you expect them to be. If youve been to one youve been to them all. Well stocked pleasant customer service
Has great prices and very friendly. I would go again and shop.
While Im not sure its fair to judge any retail location given the current circumstances, this location is typically well- stocked though perenially under-staffed (only reason I cant give them a 5). On our most recent visit, it was to pick up an online order and we were in and out in under 10 minutes. Cashier was polite and efficient. Store was clean.
They really don’t have a lot of merchandise. Little to no customer service unless you’re checking out.
Loved it great customer service, clean neat very nice
Everything u need for your house. Good quality.
Best thing in there is the key me box. That box has saved my butt time and time again.
For this location it is better to go online and see if what you are looking for is available. This is a smaller location and is not as well stocked as other locations.
I love to go to this location because it has everything I need.
Found what I needed fairly quickly and was helped by a employee who was stocking an aisle. The wait on line was long but it balanced out my visit I guess.
Good place to get holidays gifts for my sisters
Didnt find anything. The store is almost empty.
Great service clean store
Good for household items.
Had fun shopping for my grand nieces, lots to choose from.... while browsing l found the sauce pot l needed! Best buy this year, much needed,( to replace poorly made CRUX pot from Macys). Thanks B, B, & B for great sales, low prices, & good quality products. No problems with this pot, following same uses as prior expensive sale from Macys!
Conveniently located but not the largest store - limited selection...can take a while to find orders placed online that are ready for pickup
They had some I brought yesterday n the date on it 4 11 2018 n we r in 2021 this is the 1 on 125st tats crazy sad
Its ok. Its Never crowded....
Glad to see theyre open for business amid this Covid-19 pandemic and its why I give it 3 stars. Not enough merchandise on the shelves as before.
I love bed bath & beyond, but today I encountered a rude cashier. I asked a question and she wouldnt even respond. This might be one reason why I started to prefer online shopping. I dont encounter rude cashiers.
The best as always great
Very good place to buy all that you need for your home (i could find the plates, cups, glasses, forks, knives, spoons, bed sheets, comforter, pillows, pillow cases that i really liked so much for a good price). Also there is a lot more of a lot nice things you might need for your place (we found very cute jackets for the dogs). Very friendly and helpfull staff and convenient work hours. Recommend for visit. 5 stars.
Very convenient location for residents of Harlem to shop. Staff is friendly.
Worse experience at a store, hard to imagine I was actually speaking with the manager as he calls himself with such poor customer service skills.
This store is moving, not many items there.
They just have everything 😁 my kind of store
My experience was terrible the security profiled me and my brother in law. Insinuated that we thieves. Because we were black. We were on buying a curtain rod. However I went to the store to exchange the item in question security again harassed me and my brother in law suggesting we looked suspicious. The whole experience was terrible. I shall never shop at bed bath and beyond on 125 street location.I gave 1 star because the cashiers were great very good customer service in that department. But over all thumbs down.
Poor customer service experience.
Great service and great staff.
Great pricing and savings.
Staff were helpful and store was well organized
It was great, I found what I wanted Very happy.
Nice establishment. Friendly staff and a lot of different selections of stuff.
Small not much things. Prices are manageable. Staff well you hardly notice them cause they dont say hello or welcome. Bit then again i went when they had opened 2 hrs before.
Sadly the location is closing and clearing out.
It’s 8 o’clock and they are still not open why have the opening time up and don’t open on time ridiculous 😧😧
Loved It!
Overall good experience. Place isnt intuitively laid out. Ironing boards to iron your clothes and similar were no where near closet things like hangars and closet dividers. They were over by floor care... Bed risers were near pots and pans rather than bedding... Excellent service though. Josephine in particular rocks.
Its hard to find anyone to help you in the mornings at this location. 7 customers were waiting in line and no one was manning the registers. 13 mins passed before someone showed up. By then 2 people just left there items and walked out. Be late afternoons and evenings are a much different situation very attentive staff so if you have to go into this location dont do it in the morning
Busy, a lot of people around but i didnt have to wait for anything.
The prices went down some. Sales are good 👍 Everytime I go I find the best sales. Curtains I brought a pair very beautiful. The line was long but 3cashiers. No wait. Its hard to find things because of how the store is set up. I walked in a circle before I found the curtains.
Large, Clean store with helpful staff. Items on the store website may not be in stock onsite. However they will gladly order them in for you which is nice.
B,B,& B will always be one of my favorites! Staff is wonderful!
I stopped by shortly after the grand opening. There were over a dozen people in line, with only one cash register open. The clerk was doing her best to process everyone quickly, but the customers were becoming irate, and for good reason. When the manager arrived, he had the audacity to argue back at a customer who asked whether more registers could be open. I was standing in line for over 20 minutes. I will never go back.
You just gotta love BB&B. I wish a lot of the items online were available in the store.
Going out of business it’s a SALE
The fact that it takes 15 minutes to ring up three people ahead of me in line is unacceptable. Furthermore, I was in a line of shoppers ready to pay and someone walked right up to the checkout without waiting and they took them without saying anything or redirecting them to the line. Staff your store better and don’t let it become a free for all where people decide the line isn’t for them.
I was purchasing something at this location last week and had a very negative experience at the cash register. The employees on the floor were very helpful (and have been every time I have gone there) but that particular day, after waiting in line and it being my turn to cash out, a woman came from the other direction and went directly to the cash register. She was in her 60s or so, but because I had about 5 minutes to get back to work (full-time working mom trying to make the most of a lunch break) I politely let her know that the line started over where I was. End of story, she was nice and just came behind me and I proceeded to the checkout. Meanwhile, another lady that went to my check out counter, and who had been along side the older lady, started scolding me very rudely for not letting her go. She went on and things escalated, all while the casher did nothing. She was a nice cashier; she probably had never had a situation like that. I finally said something to the cashier, because here I was trying to just quickly cash out and this lady was standing by my side inches away, calling me something I cant repeat. All the cashier had to do at the first sight of the ladys rudeness was say, Excuse me Madame, Ill be with you in a moment. End of story. She did apologize after I left but I really dont feel like ever returning and was worked up the whole rest of the day because of how I was treated (her words were literally so harsh that the security finally stepped in). It all could have been avoided by just having those you are not cashing out step away, which is the policy at the other stores.
Not as large as the others but good prices. Its new so its clean and well lit. Nice and organized as well. I went on a Saturday early evening and it wasnt really busy. So it was super chill
Great staff very helpful and kind.
Places connected to another store thats in the basement / downstairs area. As a lot of great stuff like all in bed Bath & Beyonds do. I came here looking for one item and of course left with about a cart and $100 more of stuff. Its a very exciting place and go there not many associate to walk around to ask you for help you can easily find someone who might be able to assist you. Ive gone at me different times and none of them lines to exit the store have ever been too long. Also located outside is the bus for the m100, m101 and bx15.
Quiet, quick out. Much cleaner than the Bronx outlet
I brought an item from a bb&b/bb baby in lower Manhattan. I was in Harlem so I thought how convenient, now I don’t have to go all the way downtown to return the item. Wrong! The cashiers gave me such a hassle because the item was a baby item. At this location it’s only bb&b, no bb baby. I told the cashier before I walked away, “great now I have to be one of those people that call the 1-800 number and complain because this policy sounds like something this store made up. It’s not a store wide company policy.” And sure enough I was right! The customer service representative had to call this store and refresh them on the return policy. Meanwhile a simple return that should have taken maybe 5 minutes, is taking me 15/20 minutes and I have my 10 year old autistic son and my 1 yr old daughter in the stroller getting antsy. I guess 2nd time is a charm. I went back to the register because the customer care rep. ensured me that they would accept my return. Instead of the cashier being apologetic because of all the time I had to waste, saying I’m sorry and acknowledging that I was right, and thanking me for my business. NO, he still wanted to go back and forth with me, still saying we don’t carry baby items. Then the manager comes and tells him “no she’s right, I told them she can return that item, I’m sorry ma’am.” I WILL NEVER SHOP AT BED BATH & BEYOND at 5 W 125th street!!!!
You find everything you need for your house
Its a little smaller than some of the other BB&Bs that Ive been to. They have most of the same things as other stores except a central world market section where the sell exotic and fun foods. Otherwise it is a pretty standard implementation, but just a few blocks away from where I live.
There was nothing in the store that excited me.
