Great store with amazing selection. I visited here once over 2+ years ago. It was one of my must-see shopping destinations on a trip to NYC. Since then, Ive happily re-stocked and ordered new items from the website. Nothing but positive experiences! Thank you for all you do.

I visited today. You cant walk around in the store because of covid. You can ask the women in the front questions about products. I knew what I wanted so I asked for both items (hada labo and niacinamide essence) . I would return again hopefully soon things are different and you can walk around the store. The customer service was great and the lady helped tell me how to apply what I purchased and what products would go well with it.

They have implemented safety measures to shop .A very nice lady is going to take your order at the registrer or you can also order online.

Kind of lTe on the review but i went in almost 1 month ago for the first time with my friend and the salesgirl was so so soooo helpful. I forgot her name but shes feom connecticut lol. She helped my friend and I choose some skincare products by asking specific questions about our skin. I must say... 1 month later and my skin is loving the selection! We each purchased the pink sake toner and the gold perfecting gel.This employee is a gem!!!! Will religiously return when i need to refill.

I just want to say THANK YOU to the woman who helped me today. I live in ohio but was in town to model in fashion week. Its a small store but dont let that intimidate you. The woman who helped me was very smart and knows about skin types and the products in the store and even about ones they dont sell. They carry popular brands like Coxrx, missha, some japanese brands and even Troiareuke! If you need help with you skincare come here and or you can call them for advice on what to buy from their online store :)

If youre an advanced throw any new trend on my face bro skincare guru, this place is for you.For a while, I was certain they trawled a certain subreddit and made sure they had whatever was popular. But they also have almost anything I think Ive just heard about and definitely ones I havent, so its not a follow the masses type place, they lead. I would now consider myself pretty solid on understanding my skin, and from the first time I went to when I went in recently, I always seem to find something new and close to, if not actual HG status for me. Because they offer such a WIDE range of products across different price ranges and purposes, they have an insane amount of brands thats not even worth listing here. If youve heard of it in AB, then they probably have it here. Check the website.And they dont just carry skincare items. Theres makeup, makeup tools, hair, and cute headbands.And the best part of everything is that every staff member Ive come across is not only sweet and helpful, it seems as if they were hired to have knowledge and interest about skincare and various products (which is way more than most places do). And for people (like me!) who sometimes likes to just go in and browse (because they have testers for most of their items), if you tell them youre just looking, they will leave you alone to do that. If you ask them for suggestions (anything from beginner to more advanced), they will rattle off a list of products for you to try based on your skincare type, needs and goals. Because, based on their signs about staff favorites, they even try it on themselves. Even when giving you samples (after a purchase) they will actually ask you what your skin type is and cater the samples to you and what youve purchased. So amazing.If you join their membership, you get a discount every time you purchase. And in your birthday month, its even more of a discount.Love this place. Well laid out space for such a compact store with so many Asian beauty brands. The sales staff are attentive and friendly. Ultimately the reason for 3 stars is that even with discounts, most items are overpriced compared to Amazon and some 3rd party Asian Beauty sites. Worth a visit if you need something ASAP.

This is a great little skincare store!I came in pretty much knowing what I wanted but the sales associate was available, helpful, and friendly when I had a question. Most, if not all, products here can be found cheaper online but honestly I think the markup is worth it to not have to deal with shipping. It’s also great to be able to test the products first.The space is small but they do give you the option to place an order online and then come in and pick up your order.

Tiny little shop in Chinatown but they are packed with stuff and offer a large selection. It was crowded when i went Saturday early evening; i think a lot of people know about this store now that Asian skincare is more popular. Prices are a bit higher than some reputable online shops but the trade off is you get your item now and not a month later

This is a great little store, true one-stop shopping for the best in Korean and Japanese skin care! And, I really do mean LITTLE! Its one aisle, packed virtually from floor to ceiling – but shockingly well-organized – with the top-sellers from virtually every brand one can imagine of Korean and Japanese skincare. Unfortunately, due to having such limited space, there isnt room for the full lines of anything, but like I said, most of the top sellers from each are here. Theyre an authorized seller of Skin79, so there is no fear of accidentally picking up a counterfeit BB cream. Plus, there are quite a few single and value packs of the Real Techniques makeup brushes. A special treat: Bioderma cleansing water!This store was definitely worth the trip to Chinatown. You have to be watching carefully for it, as its on the second floor, above a bakery, but as I said, its a great find and worth the trip. The sales associates are very helpful and friendly but arent one step behind you like they tend to be at some of the other K-beauty stores. Ill be back whenever I come back to the city, and Ill definitely be ordering from their website!

Though in one situation they thought i was stealing, they apologized and it hasnt hindered me from returning. Its a small, crowded store, full of inexpensive quality products. Five stars lol

There were so many Korean and Japanese products to choose from for such a little store. The staffs are incredibly nice. They greeted me when I came in, and even asked if I needed a basket. Im a shy person with strangers, so I was really worried about them being too pushy, but luckily, they werent. They were really kind and didnt bother me too much. I saw them help the other customers that was around me a lot. I will definitely come back to this store again :)

Yeah, its a little pricey, but it beats the hell out of shipping internationally and waiting a month. A must visit.

The girls are quite knowledge about the products. More than product x includes y trendy ingredient and was featured in a campaign with z celebrity endorsement. They are familiar withthe attributes and behavior of various skintypes and can make informed suggestions to current routines. They know what they are doing and do it well. Bonus points for free samples.

Small shop offering a lot of Asian beauty products, even some that arent available for online shipping

Most of the stuff here is marked up or you can find it easily for cheaper online, but a great place to test out products that you wouldnt regularly be able to try out in most department stores. They carry a wide range of Asian skincare products. Its mostly skincare, but theres some Japanese mascaras and what-not right next to the cash register. Really nice employees! Note: its a very small place, so its not a great place for large groups. They carry The Ordinary, if anyone was wondering! Its marked up by $1 or more for most of the products, and last that I checked, it was also sold out of the Niacinamide serum, so thats a bummer. Overall, if youre okay with spending $1-$2 more for a product in store versus online for the convenience, Id say go for it.

I was visiting the city from Australia and stopped by oo35mm to check out some products. They have an excellent selection of skincare brands like Timeless and Cosrx and Ill be coming back whenever I return to NYC. The shop assistant was lovely and asked for my skin type before giving me a complimentary sample which was a nice touch. Ill be recommending this oo35mm to all my New Yorker friends.

Small store, but they make use of all the space they have. They carry a lot of well known Asian Beauty brands and a few HG skincare brands (fellow AB and SCA redditors, this place is amazing). They also have the store organized nicely. Its partially organized by brand, and partially organized by skincare use. Ex. The cleansing oils are grouped together, the eye gel masks are grouped together, face masks, sun screen, etc.They have COSRX, Innisfree, Timeless, PyunKang Yul, Kao Biore, The Ordinary, Holy Snails, DHC, dear Klairs, Laneige, Bioderma, Missha, Mizon, Shiseido, and a plethora more. I couldve spent hours in there and still have found more brands and items.The pricing is very reasonable, especially for being in the City. I could have ordered some of the items from overseas for cheaper, but then I wouldnt have been supporting a fellow small business, and Id have to wait about a week.The staff are extremely kind and knowledgeable, yes they speak English (I think they may have been fellow ABCs :P), but I dont doubt they are also fluent in Chinese (being this is Chinatown after all). A couple came in after me, and the woman was looking for suggestions for moisturizers, masks, and makeup remover for her sensitive skin. A staff member off the top of her head started naming some products, and asking how her skin was.When checking out, you have the option to become a member and get 10% off during your birthday month, and if you spend $300 (within the year, I believe) you get 10% off every time you go. Its free, you just fill out their form. They also ask you what skin type you have, so they can toss a few samples into your bag.Im very impressed and pleased. Im so happy I realized this shop existed! Ive grown up practically in Chinatown (family business is a couple blocks away), and never knew! Then I started really getting into skincare and Asian Beauty routines and discovered this diamond!I will definitely continue to be a customer!They also have an online store and ship!

It was much tinier than I expected, really only one aisle but that was fine even with 6-12 people browsing. I overheard one guy wishing there was a boyfriend couch while he waited, but I think he found a place to stand off to the side, haha. Guests were mostly teens and young women. Everything was organized either by brand or function or both. Normally Im followed around k-beauty outlet shops, but here an attendant walked through once and offered me a basket and asked me if I needed help, and was polite and not pushy when I declined, then helped the other customers. She answered some questions they had and didnt try to direct them toward expensive items, just makeup relevant to their question. The makeup variety was excellent. I wish they had a few more BB cushions and lip colors, but was excited to spot a couple of 3CE glosses. The selection wasnt amazing for some bigger brands--I went to pick up a Missha sunscreen and there were only 3 varieties available in the smallest size. However, I saw all my favorite brands, even some that Ive never seen in a brick and mortar shop and every single item had a clearly labeled, accessible and clean tester. I was excited to see testers for hard to find Cosrx items and Labiotte tints. Excellent selection of sheet masks and 4 for $5 My Beauty Diary masks. When I checked out, the cashier offered their free membership which gives you a 10% off discount during your birth month, and gave me 2 samples for my skin type. Ultimately the reason this is a 4-star review is because I paid about 25% more than I would have at my favorite online retailer even after shipping costs, and the store is very small. But if you usually buy from overseas and would rather pick something up quickly than wait a month for shipping, and if you need to test items like makeup colors, its a great stop.
