Everything beads... Beautiful selection! Staff are also really helpful... Loved my experience.

The sheer selection of beads and supplies alone puts this place at 5 stars, but you can also grab things at wholesale prices. Crystal, glass, semi-precious stones, glass seed beads in various sizes... and the colors, so many colors. I definitely plan on coming back more often when I have time as I have been starting on creating my own jewelry.

Massive selection to choose from. Much better than the old place I use to go to on 47th Street.

Nice experience but some of the employees there are impatient and I started to get uncomfortable with that. Would have spent way more money there but decided to take my purchases elsewhere. It’s a great store though and the prices are reasonable.

Bead Center also has a unique selection of decorative beading from solid to hollow, in a multitude of finishes from crystals, stone, wood and plastic in every shade and color imaginable.If youre working on small lots, to prototypes... I state again that this is the place. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, responsible and always at hand to assist, answer questions and give thorough advice on your ideas and choices.

Many bead stores in the neighborhood have gone out of business. Fortunately, The Bead Center has not. It has a huge selection of beads and findings. Its well stocked and very well organized.

I make my jewelry one piece at a time. So it is nice to be able to take my components and see what will work to finish off a piece. All prices are great. If you are not sure what you are looking for the Bead Center is a nice start. If you work better at seeing something before purchasing once again the Bead Center is a nice start.

This place has everything a crafter could want. Mainly for jewelry craft makers. Every bead,band string,strap, its a wonderful place,prices are not bad either

Its a good place if you want to find onesies or make up your own jewelry. They have a good selection of cool charms. Not the place to buy stones though. They are way overpriced. If I do go in there, I try to have as little to do with the staff, as they can be a bit belligerent, and/of often dont know enough English to understand what you are asking about.

Not for beginners. They helped us find a string that they said would go through the beads we had chosen. We trusted them and when we got home we discovered that the string wouldnt go through the beads. Nice bead selection. Very unique! My grandchild was very disappointed.

I went there last week and went a little crazy buying everything! One of the ladies was grumpy and didnt seem like she wanted to be there but the rest was fine. All the tools for making jewelry that you might need, they have.The man and the woman at the cash register smiled and were very polite while letting me split a large order into 3 separate orders. I will definitely be going back, their selection of things is very varied!

Very vast selection of fake stones they advertise as real. I bought jet stone for $25 to later find out its made of something that burns with a plastic like smell and melts.

In the heart of 34th & 6th Avenue. they have three blocks of food venders that serve all types of food entrys, from Italy, Mexican, Japan, and other world countries. They have out door seating and food prices reasonably fair. Surrounding famous named stores and restaurants. A nice day for an adventure. The bead center is located there that have an array of beads. From glass beads to acrylic and if you look real good clearance beads.

It has a varied of accessories and materials for hand crafted.

Can always find what Im looking for. Staff is always helpful.

I was looking for a very specific not too common bead. And there it was. They really have a great selection and the prices are good too.

This is absolutely my favorite place to go . O dont usually venture to any other stores except like hobby lobby or Michaels for things they dont carry. Honestly Ive tempted to find places but they arent as stocked, proce point is nice compared to the other stores in walking distance. I actually can get help here and they have a wide range of variety . I make waist beads and this is my one stop shop

Didnt like the atmosphere of tbe store, or the fact employees followed me around the store as soon i entered 10 feet in store. Had no assistance finding what i was looking for, they just watched. Beside the lady insisting i take a tray. When i purchased the wrong item i came back to get right items was told they didnt have anything like i was looking for ( silver bead with larger wholes) the ones i just brought could not fit a standard wire beading neadle.

My daughter and I spent hours at Bead Center and we loved it! She thought of using plastic and seed beads to cover her Map Project. BTW, the staff was so kind and helpful. Thank you Bead Center!

There are many Chinese operated jewelry finding shops in the area and this is one of the shops with the biggest collection of findings. If I cant find something in other shops, Id always come here and I can always find what I need. The down side is their stuff is slightly more pricey than other shops (even if its the same thing).

Stopped in here randomly to cool off from a hot day. Ended up staying with my girlfriend for an hour looking around and making things.

First visit. The options are amazing, so many different materials and designs. However, I would likely never go there again. There was a sale for the Swarovski beads, so I decided to get some. I only bought 5 beads since I thought those beads were nice accents for a piece I wanted to make. One type that I bought was $4.25 a dozen. I decided to buy 3. The employee helping me decided that the obvious price would be a dollar each. All the other items that I bought were 1/10 the price of a dozen each. So $1 each is $10 for a dozen. The other 2, essentially slightly larger versions of the other 3, were charged $1 each too. I can only assume that they were overcharged too since I couldnt see its price. Btw, when I went to the cash register, apparently no discount came with my purchase. I understand that smaller amounts are invalid but I was injusticely overcharged. The three stars are only because I bought a bunch of other stuff that are absolutely lovely. But seriously, I wasnt helped with those items. Who knows what they would charge me if they helped me with that. I paid the few extra dollars but this is bad business policies. I dont recommend this place.

It is the second time that they charged me extra money for 2 findings when I bought 1. I called to the store for complain about it. I explained my situation and the guy at phone was rude and he didnt apologize, just told me in an arrogant tone show me your ticket and come to the store. That is very easy to say but I live far from this place I am not paying 5$ on subway for ask my refund of 2 dollars. They do all the time these kind of mistake in tiny amounts and finally they are doing extra money scamming people. They have good material but this is UNACCEPTABLE. They even not offered me for an apologies, nothing. Check your ticket right away after buy on this place.
