Complete garbage. They say doorstep delivery, it is dropped in the middle of the driveway when no one is home (there is a signature required, the driver signed for it himself which they are not supposed to do). It is the middle of winter and they left it in the middle of the driveway for over 5 hours. I tried to work through their customer support and their response was I should have to do something with the carrier. I bought the item from them, not the carrier. It is their responsibility to make it right. All I get back is snarky comments and every attempt by them to avoid responsibility. I wish I would have known how bad they were before purchasing through Houzz.com

I recently purchased from Decor Planet and was so impressed I felt compelled to write a review. Their customer service and response was exceptional. Got a service representative right away. Had a damage issue and they took care of it with no hassle and kept me in the loop as to the status. Price was best comparatively, and the ability to talk with someone without being on continuous hold makes Decor Planet stand well above their competitors. I am a designer, and purchase a lot of home goods, so I know about shopping on line for products.

I should have read the other reviews and taken heed. I ordered in November. Then was told there would be a delay. Okay no problem. Four delays later and still no product.I was offered what amounted to a $20 credit. Thats nothing compared to the money and expense of rescheduling trades multiple times and the inconvenience of a house that is still barely tenable because the bathrooms are not complete.Management hardly cares and points to the auto reply emails as communication.Perhaps they are good for some, but my experience was terrible. If the product is not stock, dont buy it. Unless of course you enjoy numerous delays and mystery of when it will come sprinkled with communication from a non person auto reply system.

DO NOT ever order anything from this company. The customer service is basically non-existent. Just keep in mind that whatever you order, it will not get delivered as promised! It happened twice to me. The first time in 2019. I called probably 30 times or more and nobody would take my call to schedule the delivery. Then finally after being on hold for 45 mins I was able to schedule the delivery. I think there was only one person working at the customer service.I gave them the benefit of a doubt and ordered again early 2020. I have been promised, the delivery issue will never repeat itself. It will never happen again, I have been told! I called, I scheduled the delivery and everything seemed to go well. Except that the delivery never showed up and I had the construction team waiting! I spoke with the manager of the customer service Misha. She was supposed to follow up with me and explain what happened. I guess I wasnt that important because I am still waiting to hear back from her. That said, I never received my delivery. My construction team cannot finish the renovation of my bathroom. I am still waiting for the miracle to happen. This place is a scam. Beware!

Poor customer service, could not get my email set up after three times needing to call and correct it. Of course, it wouldnt be an issue except there has been several delays in delivery with no way to track the delivery status without needing to call. Very disappointed.

Do not order from here. I have spent HOURS trying to figure out the status of my order from 2 months ago. The online chat people are very nice. They don’t solve a thing. The customer service is non-existent. On hold for hours. The email folks say they will be your point of contact and then don’t respond for weeks, only to say they will check and never get back to you. They say something will ship on “x” date, never update the shipping date and don’t give any answers. Terrible.

I ordered two vanities from decor planet. The quality of products was exactly what we expected however we needed side splashes for our counters because ours fit against a wall in each side. The agent made it feel like it was kind of a chore to reach out to the granite manufacturer/supplier to see if they offered side splashes as well. She also said it was unusual. So I just told her nevermind and thank. I was able to find them through another big box store online, ironically the exact 21x4 fitment, exact color match, and from the same manufacturer. So in conclusion, they offer a great product, but mediocre customer service after the sale. If you get what you need exactly right on the first try, you’re in good shape, good luck after that.

Do not order from these jokers. I ordered two vanities from them. One was delivered without a sink, and the other wasnt even delivered. I had to call two weeks later after wondering where my vanity was. I spoke to 4 different people 3 of which told me it was in stock and 1 who told me it was on back order for another 8 weeks. When the hell was someone going to notify me of this????? Now, Im still waiting for a full refund for one vanity and am currently without a sink for the other. I have left two voicemails with the company and no one is responding. Next step, they will be hearing from the attorney general for consumer affairs. What a horrible, horrible company!

Absolutely zero customer service. I ordered a bathroom vanity set. I have been trying to get a replacement for the vanity top with no luck. After being on hold a while, you are forced to leave a message. I left multiple messages for weeks. No return phone calls. I was excited today to actual reach a person. I started to give him my order number when I was told that was an incorrect number and was then hung up on. If you have any issues with an order, you will not get resolution.

This is the worst company to work with. I ordered an item, waited 2 weeks and when my item wasnt delivered I decided to contact the company. When I called, I earned that my item was back ordered out 8 weeks. When the hell were they going to let me know this??? Now, my client is very unhappy that her addition is behind two weeks while we wait for the product from a different vender. You guys need to make some serious structural changes within your failure of a company. I do not recommend using this company whatsoever! And, dont even get me started on the other order I had placed. Delivery was made, but was incomplete even though they claimed it was delivered. Horrible!!!

Ordered a vanity, marble top, and 2 coordinating mirrors. Marble top was split in half when I opened it. I have tried calling with no luck (just keeps me on hold), emailing with no response (sent photos of the cracked marble top and how boxes were stacked and strapped by the delivery company), chatting keeps saying 2 minutes until someone helps me and no one ever does. I hope they will resolve this problem but I am not feeling hopeful. I researched where to buy the vanity based on customer reviews and specifically chose this company because I thought they would be good to work with. I hope I will be able to update this review with better news soon.10/31: Finally communicated with Decor Planet via chat--the woman said they were going to look into the issue. The follow up email I received tonight (without a commitment yet of a replacement or refund) said twice I needed to contact them within 48 hours of delivery! If you cannot get through and no one responds to emails, then that policy should not be stated and restated to the customer! I know the policy, which is why I have tried so hard to get in touch!Will update again when I learn if it will be successfully resolved. I hope it is...

Not a reputable merchant. Avoid.Placed an order and received a ship date almost two months later. Cancelled the order same day I received the ship date. Was told the order was cancelled and given a cancellation number and told the credit would be processed in 2-3 days. 10 days later still waiting for credit. Contacted merchant and was told that part of the order shipped and a partial credit will be issued. Have not received merchandise or credit.

Overall, they sell very good products. I bought Avanity Allie and matching mirror. Was cheaper to buy mirror separately, not sure why. Wish I knew that before hand. Product was made very well, however the marble counter top broke underneath, which required us to epoxy one of the brackets holding up the sink. I think this was a manufacturer problem not caused by delivery. Boxed came damaged, but products were wrapped fairly well. I would recommend giving them a shot.

The integral part of the order! Buy at your own risk, as if something goes wrong with your shipment, good luck with getting anything out of them! Horrible is not the word!

Do not buy from here. Placed order a month ago, indicated estimated shipment in 3 weeks. We let it go an extra week, then called for status. Rep stated the purchase order was cancelled a week and a half previous. We had received no phone call, no e-mail, no notification, no refund. Had we not been on top of things, this business would have kept our money and sent us nothing. AVOID.

Understandably, the pandemic has made a bit tough on different companies. But the extensive delays, lack of communication, etc. is ridiculous. I had three different orders. All of them with an ETA of less than a week. 6 weeks later, they should as in production. No email letting me know of additional delays. No email offering cancelation. And then you wait for hours on the phone to get through someone. Terrible.

Shout outs to Menny Baranov and Mesha Edwards - two incredible employees who value customer service!This journey began with Menny Baranov. I had several questions about the site, it’s ongoing sale, and a delayed delivery since my project was stalled but I did not want to miss out on the sale and opportunity. Menny worked with me to get everything packaged up and ready for purchase, helped me set up an account, and walked me through all of the required steps to make the purchase process simple and seamless.Next I had the opportunity to work with Mesha Edwards - Decor Planet’s undercover superhero! She is a consumate professional and a model Decor Planet Team Member. Unfortunately I ran into a minor issue with delivery location and one of the vanities that showed up was damaged. I hope everyone recognizes all of the steps that occur in between an order to delivery, and many of these steps are in the hands of third parties that the merchant has little control over. The true test is how the merchant vendor responds to those issues. Mesha was the Superwoman of Customer Service. She worked tirelessly to make sure my experience was 100%, and that all issues were remedied as quickly as possible. Throughout the entire process she was positive, professional, and resourceful. Her warm and kind personality exuded through the phone and I could tell I was in good hands throughout the entire process. She navigated all of these unknowns through a pandemic and a high volume holiday period but the entire time made me feel as if the customer was her number one priority.In the end, my experience resulted in what every customer wants: A great user experience, an excellent product as advertised, and fantastic support when things don’t necessarily go as smooth as everyone hopes.I highly recommend this company and their products (I will post photos when fully installed). We ordered a James Martin vanity through Decor Planet. In case you wonder about James Martin, their quality is terrific, however I was rather let down by the service of Decor Planet. I ordered the vanity on October 10th, 2020. I ordered it with the hope it would be available for shipment. On the 14th I got an Email that it wouldnt be shipped until 11/3/2020. This was much longer than anticipated, but we couldnt find another on quicker so we kept our order. We never heard anything else, no email or phone call, even though our update said we would be updated again. On November 5th I called DecorPlanet to find out what was happening as our contractor that was redoing our bathroom was on hold and so were we. I was put on hold by a very nice person who contacted James Martin company and then told me that they were hoping to ship it by November 11th. But did tell me if I didnt here anything to call back again. Of course no email or phone call update so I called DecorPlanet again on November 16th. Again put on hold and was told that James Martin said they had it and would be shipping it in a couple of days. So I didnt get any email or phone call from DecorPlanet but I got a strange text message that I thought was spam text. However on closer observation it was from a shipping company. I called them and it was a transport company trying to arrange shipment with me regarding my bathroom vanity! I took care of all that, but never got a notice from DecorPlanet saying that it was being shipped or the company, nothing. I recieved a email today, 11/20/2020 telling me about checking my items.I think it was very poor consumer relations that I had to keep trying to contact them and Decor Planet did not do the legwork or keep me informed. I gave them a 3.Probably will not order through them again.

They say they offer 110% price match. I contacted them because Lowes had same faucet model on sale for $100 cheaper. I told their rep that it is out of stock at Lowes. He asked me for the website and the model number. I also sent him a picture of the advertised price good though Nov 2. He comes back and says he cant match because it is out of stock. I told him that in the beginning and he didnt tell me that until he verified it was in fact $100 cheaper at Lowes. Shady company. I will not use this company. I should have looked at the reviews before I wasted my time.

I had a great experience at Decor Planet. Mario helped me choose bathroom tiles, vanities, fixtures, etc. for 3 bathrooms and more. He was patient and attentive and I couldnt have done it without his guidance. We went to a few other stores before Decor Planet, and had trouble finding someone ready, willing and able to help. Mario, on the other hand, was knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to answer all of my questions - and Ive been to the show room four times and counting!We are still waiting for the majority of our items to arrive, but the experience thus far has been very enjoyable (as enjoyable as bathroom renovations can be).

DecorPlanet was one of our first stops when we needed to renovate two bathrooms. Alex Pereyra in the Manhattan Showroom was extremely helpful in January of 2020 when we looked at everything and then purchased medicine cabinets (Robern) online, and again to recommend the tile guy in the lower floor, Ken, and now that we are creating a custom vanity, when we ordered a special faucet and basin. Hes terrific! An excellent resource and facilitator. You cant go wrong!

The review is only for online store.Maybe good selection and prices but non-existent customer service. Extensive delays on fulfilling the order, bunch of emails that contradict each other. You literally have to take some time off to figure out what is sent and when. Out of 10 items ordered I had to call 5 times, spent hours on hold, got few drop calls and then they realized that the sink I ordered and was waiting for went to totally random address (good that I was persistent and called) and it took them another few days to locate it and sent it to me. Then another 2 items from the order (Brizo faucet and some piece for the shower were defective), left the message for customer service with no return calls, good I had the phone number for the manager, he finally sent us the replacement piece for the faucet that was initially leaking, not the whole faucet but some complicated part that so far nobody knows how to insert in the faucet (the manager left my husbands call on this subject without an answer.Wouldnt recommend decorplanet.com not Brizo (high end Delta products) to even my enemy

We spent a couple months looking for a new bathroom vanity. I spent hours online and going to showrooms in Manhattan and Brooklyn. I discovered Decor Planet had the Latoscana vanity I wanted for the best price but I got nervous because the website said there could be a long lead time. Although we did not need it for another month, we went in to the showroom on a Saturday to buy it and find out how long it would take. The minute we walked into the showroom, Alex was there to help. He assured us that although he could not give us the answer right away since the supplier was closed, he would check and let us know Monday. We ordered it and Monday he called to let us know it was in stock. Almost immediately after the delivery company called us to let us know they could deliver it Tuesday! What great service! Alex was a great help in showing us the different finishes and discussing different fixtures. We would definitely buy from Decor Planet again.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE because you will pay but never get the right product!! The showroom looks great and legit... but they are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL seems like a SCAM COMPANY.I visited the shop, impressed by the nice showroom and made an order. I have made my order two months before the renovation of my bathroom to be safe in time. I finally received products right before my contractor began their work actually by contacting MARIO, the sales rep at NYC location numerous time. Okay its really scary but at least I got the delivery. Guess what happened? I got WRONG PRODUCTS!!! I asked for double sink vanity and they sent me two single vanity! I have contacted the customer service department, spoke to SAINT, a service rep, and he said he will resolve the issue but he has been missing in action now - for more than three days. The renovation is stopped at the moment because of this issue. I called, emailed but no response. All calls to the customer service line keeps on going to voice mail box. I left multiple voice mails I dont think they check it. Also no email response. I thought its a legit company. AM I GETTING RIPPED OFF?

This company has excellent customer service. I ordered a vanity, quartz counter top and mirrors which were all delivered in perfect condition. However, because I was renovating my bathroom I didn’t realize until 3 weeks after delivery that I was missing a mirror. First surprise was that I didn’t have to get into an endless loop in their automated system trying to reach a real person. Second surprise was that they shipped the new mirror out the following business day. Melanie was fantastic and I would definitely purchase from this company again.

Wish I had not been fooled by saving a little more and instead bought from a credible retailer. I also bought an entire shower set from them (over $1000). The project got put on hold for some time. (My mistake, I hadn’t looked closely at every single piece). When I went to complete the project, I noticed my $300 shower head was the wrong finish. I checked my receipt and I did order the correct finish, but when I called them, they told me sorry, but we can give you an 18% discount to buy another one! I’m done doing business with this place. (I did this review on Yelp also, but it appears they paid to have it removed!)

You can forget about their easy return policySimple Toilet Paper holder, came with no return slip or any instructions on how to do so. I then had to dig up the email address listed in their return policy disclaimer (which is in 6pt text). After not receiving a reply to that email a full day later, I called the 800# and got V.M. ...After not receiving a return call, I used live chat. The woman inquired to the reason for the return (really? okay, the toilet paper doesnt fit on the holder), the woman then instructed me to first photograph the product and send back in another email (yes, the one I never got a reply from), then I would get a Return Authorization. The reason? So I could prove it wasnt damaged. I declined that option and stated it was in perfect condition, barely out of the box, and, if USPS decided to run it over on the way to returning it, shame on me.All I can say is, in this day and age, by far the most difficult return experience over a $55 chrome TP holder one could ever imagine. Might have been easier to return a car to a dealership

Bought Toilet status in-stock. Now 2 weeks after ordering, expected shipping date stated (10/30) now 6 days past. Cant reach customer service both by phone or by online to get update. Had to leave message on customer service line. My contractor is trying to complete project on schedule but this is causing potential delays. Was considering ordering another item but based upon my experience so far will take it out of my basket and buy elsewhere. Great customer service in stores. Be aware of the shipping company, they are very rude and lazy to deliver! i was without a vanity for the bathroom for over a month. The driver decided not to deliver it because no one is home, (that was his excuse meanwhile there is a doorman who was able to receive the package). called to verify what was the issue and the driver and manager gives me attitude being rude and unprofessional. They need to put themselves in our shoes and see how it feel to treat us customer like this. Deliver company needs to have more structure and better customer service, we as customers spend thousands of dollars with your company, we should have a little bit or more respect or communication.This way of working is unacceptable.

I purchased a toilet from DecorPlanet via Amazon. I arrived in a thousand pieces (see attached). I sent them this picture and asked that they pay for shipping to return it. They never responded. Then I appealed to Amazon for a return. Then they called to offer a refund if I would drop appeal to Amazon. I said I would not until they refunded my money. Then they lied to Amazon on the appeal and I called them back and asked again for a refund. They refused--saying I had not dropped my appeal to Amazon. So I was left with a broken toilet and out $750. I left a terrible review like this one on Amazon and I was offered $250 to erase the review. I offered to erase review if they made it right and refunded my full money. They refused. They could care less. Throughout it all I dealt with an associate named Chances Williams. Do not buy from them. The reason all the other reviews are positive is because they paid off people who write bad reviews.

Their price was about 50% of what the manufacturer quoted. Ordering was simple and they kept me posted with status. The part was delivered even more quickly than promised. Ebony was very helpful in resolving my problem with a purchase. She went above and beyond to uncover the reason for the “wrong” item to be shipped. I called for a return authorization, knowing I would have to pay a restocking fee, but Ebony was determined to figure out why I thought I had ordered one color and received a different color. And she did. She was very pleasant throughout our conversation and was determined to leave me as a satisfied customer! And I am.

I was scammed - DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. instead of delivering the vanity, they Fed-Exed me an envelope with a letter that state the items they had in stock were damaged. By pretending it was delivered, they were able to charge my account and tried to hold me hostage by waiting several more weeks. I was unable to cancel the order on Amazon, due to the fact that they made it appear as though it was delivered. Huge hassle - definitely feel scammed.

I purchased a few sinks from DecorPlanet & had to return one that didn’t fit properly in my powder room. It came well packaged in great condition. I had an excellent customer service experience with Jason, the rep who assisted me with my return. He was incredibly helpful. He responded quickly & sent me an email with return labels/instructions. He called to follow up & ended up helping me find a few products that I had difficulty locating elsewhere. He is a valuable asset to their team! Received bathroom mirrors from here, havent opened the boxes and needed to return due to the mirrors not fitting properly in our space because of an outlet. It has taken me three weeks to be able to get labels to return. (Had been in email correspondence with Courtney who completely disregarded my emails so I had to call and get angry to get the labels.) Go to FedEx today, and they werent able to take it back because they had given me 2 labels with the same tracking!! Now I am calling back only to hold for 20 minutes. This is the worst company to deal with if you have a return. They also charge for return shipping and 15% restocking fee. Guess Ill see my refund in 2020. Will never be doing business with this company again!Update: finally got ahold of someone after 25 minutes and I still have not received the return label for the second mirror! The man I spoke with said he would be sending it Friday evening, well I never received it. Also, why is it he could send me the first label right away when I had to call on Monday? Saying you as a company are busy is no excuse. I will be reporting decorplanet to the Better Business Bureau!! Please use any other company than this one. DecorBrothers have great customer service and better prices (who I wouldve went with originally but they were out of stock).

I am regret to have a business with decor planet.company have a 3 years warranty but in reality none. They advertise as affordable luxury products. In reality overpriced knockoff products from China.Plumbing parts should be replaced right away, bad quality and traps made not according to American standard .Cabinets made from unprotected MDF, will absorb water within short amount of time and eventually destroyed like mine.Company use scam techniques in advertising.

He contacted the company to get the correct grates, when I had inquired about possible returning of the wrong grates that I had ordered. ZERO STARS? THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD!!! I ordered a toilet and they shipped me the bowl with no tank, then claimed the tank got damaged by Fedex but could provide no tracking number for the tank. To fix the situation they ship me the tank and it gets delayed (of course they blame fedex again but according to fedex it never left Decor Planers warehouse, and when I open it its the WRONG TANK. I ordered through DecorPlanet because they claimed to be able to ship me this particular item faster than HomeDepot, Lowes, and other options. NEVER AGAIN! Its been over two weeks and still dont have what I need....Their manager thats supposed to be resolving this takes no accountability for the problem (literally blames Fedex for everything) and doesnt seem to know his own stock. He knew I was upset and in immediate need of this part. It would have take 2 minutes to check my order and verify that they were shipping the right part. Honestly, I think they dont have the right part and are simply playing games to either stall, or just hope that I didnt notice the discrepancy from what I ordered. AVOID DECOR PLANET!!!!

I ordered some hardware last December -- paper holder, robe hooks, and towel bar -- for a bathroom I was having remodeled. Two of the items were shipped very promptly and the other was backordered but DecorPlanet let me know very promptly that it was backordered and approximately when it would be available -- very accurately.My bathroom remodel was delayed by my contractor who didnt get around to installing the Valsan towel bar until Friday June 28-- more than 6 months after I received my order. It was then that he discovered the set screw in one of the mounting brackets was defective and couldnt be removed from the bracket. Even though DecorPlanets website says it has a 30 day return policy since it was a manufacturers defect I contacted DecorPlanets customer service via their chat function. I got to a rep very quickly and described the problem with photos. The rep, Venice Golding, reached out to the manufacturer, who, after clarifying which part I needed, immediately sent a replacement mounting bracket which arrived on Tuesday July 2. Towel bar was mounted on July 3. I couldnt be happier with the customer service I received from both DecorPlanet and Valsan. No run around. No buck passing. DecorPlanet took charge of getting the problem and got it fixed very quickly.

I am undergoing a major renovation in Brooklyn and my contractor recommended purchasing all my bathroom and kitchen needs from Decor Planet. I took at trip to the showroom where I met Vladimir Shoulzhenko. He spent over an hour showing me a wide range of the brands they carry going over the pros and cons of each. At the end of our session I had selected everything. Before Decor Planet I had been to over 15 showrooms where I did research on all things bath and kitchen. I can say with confidence that Vladimir was the most knowledge, personable, patient, professional I worked with. And...the package price he put together was better than everyone elses.
