Excellent selection of paper plates, napkins, tablecloths, plastic cutlery, cups, etc. - in every color - and at great prices.Costumes, balloons, holiday decor, birthday candles.... it’s all a little disorganized, but this place has everything.

In this store they have good merchandises to buy from but it looks kind of dirty like it needs cleaning and it is stressful when you cant return what you already have bought and I dont know how people go there and buy things anyway because that is kind of a bad moment you have to live

This store has everything you might need but its kind of dirty. There was a large cockroach that was hanging out under a witches hat that I had picked up, and then when I started to look around closer I noticed 2 other dead cockroaches in that isle.

My absolute favorite party store! The owner Sunny is wonderful and he has an incredibly hard-working staff, huge variety and great prices! A favorite spot for balloons, cards, unique festive & holiday decor & tons of costumes year round- I love supporting this small business in Greenwich Village!

Every Veterans’ Day, Presidents’ Day or 4th of July, I always stop by this store for a few balloons. It’s a huge family owned place - I always meet the owners, who are a great pair. Their son works with them too. Surprisingly, they also do lotto here. Perfect if you’re in the mood for costumes, decorations, etc.

They literally have everything you need. You can call over the phone before heading down there to make sure (as online things arent always still there) and they will let you know or even put it to the side for you. Everyone is helpful. (I wish they had more space or was a little more organized but I cant fault them for it bc what I couldnt find they knew exactly where it was at (they probably just need a bigger store)

Pretty much everything youd need for decorations at a fun party - great for shopping for kiddie birthdays, Halloween, baby shower and such events. Their selection style leans towards more fun kind of stuff than elegant staid kind so be advised. They also have helium tanks and will inflate balloons for you right there and they have HUGE bags in which they can pack inflated balloons to carry away.

Came here to rent a helium tank for my daughter’s birthday party. IT was so quick and easy to pick up and drop off. They require ID and a deposit that they return once you bring back the tank in good working condition. I didn’t walk around but it seems they have tons of party supplies. Will be checking back here for future parties.

Today was my first time at this store & it was a really good experience. I’ve seen other reviews saying it was messy, but seriously don’t be so boujie! They have so many party & dress up options which explains the overflowing stock lol but that’s not an issue because the workers actually know where everything is just ask. I stumbled upon this store randomly walking but also in need of some colored hair spray for my sons 100th day outfit & left out with the spray, a bow tie & kids suspenders. Glad I found this store. Very nice place & very nice, attentive customer service.

I have gone to this store many times over the years and they tend to have unique items and will take time to help you find what you need. Good attitude. Not inexpensive, but not overly priced either.

Went there for a last-minute balloon order, and expected the worst. I got the exact opposite in terms of service! The staff was more than happy to fill my order immediately. The selection seemed unlimited, and I was able to get everything settled in less than 20 minutes. I honestly couldnt thank them all enough!

This was my 2nd year renting a helium tank from them and they are so accommodating and pleasant.

They Have Some Great Props Here Except Some Of Them Fall Apart Too Easily. I Recommend You Get The Props That Are Made Of Hard Plastic And Are Not Too Long. But Besides That Great Place For Actors Or Schools To Get There Props Here

I was invited to a masquerade after party for Fashion Week extremely last minute. I needed to find a mask and quickly but theres nothing close to me in Brooklyn so I had to travel into the city (on my way to the party at least) to grab a mask. Unfortunately everything I was finding was already closed and my situation wasnt looking so good. This place came up while searching online and they were ten blocks away from where I was and about to close in 3 minutes. I figured Id give it a shot and call the store to see if theyd stay open for me. The man who picked up the phone (who I later learned was the manager) was very accommodating and said hed stay open a little longer for me). I booked it the ten blocks (in my suit no less) and finally got there and knocked on the door which was already locked and the gate was pulled down. He let me in and helped me find a mask that fit properly instead of rushing me out. After he rang me up he even gave me a bottle of water out of the drink cooler because he realized I ran there. Above and beyond customer service. I made it in time for the party and fit right in with everyone else dressed up. From now on no matter where I am in the city or whats more convenient for me Ill be going to the Village Party Store for all my party needs.

This place is so cute with so many things to choose from!!! It has become my go-to place if I need anything for a celebration. Although theres a lot to choose from, its pretty messy -- but I guess if you have the patience to go through everything, you can definitely find something to your liking.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$ OR TIME HERE! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! In an area where there are plenty of stores like this, avoid going here at all costs!If I could give them zero starts I would. After spending a half hour in the store last night having 20 latex balloons blown up, including paying extra for hi float to make the balloons float longer (the guy at the store said at least a week as opposed to less than 24 hours without the hi float) I am extremely disappointed in their customer service. I paid $45 for 20 balloons and left the store. While I waited for a cab, a balloon popped. In the cab another two popped. Walking down the hallway of my building another two popped. Five balloons popped before even getting into my apartment. I proceeded to put the balloons in the room, and one by one they all began to pop. Before I even got a chance to cut the ribbons or move them anywhere else, one at a time they began to pop. After 5 minutes of being inside, every single balloon had popped. I called the store immediately and was told it must be my fault because of the reasons listed below. The store manager asked that I email him photos of the ceiling and the room because he didnt believe that it wasnt the ceiling or lights in the room that caused this. After sending multiple photos and explaining that there was nothing I did to cause this, he said hes sorry but theres nothing he can do. He said this has never happened in 15 years of business and once you leave the store its not their problem. Here is the email I sent them expressing my disappointment.You suggested that the lights caused it, there were no lights turn on in the room. There is only one light fixture and it was left off. Also the balloons were not near the fixture.You suggested that the ceiling is one of those sharp ceilings thats popcorn that would have popped the balloons. As you can clearly see in the photos, the ceilings are completely flat. They are exactly the same as the walls. Its a brand new building with flat painted walls and ceilings. There is no way that the ceiling or any lights caused the balloons to pop.Lastly you suggested that it was too hot in the room. We walked in, have been gone all day and there is no heat on at all. It is cold in the apartment if anything. One by one, every single balloon started popping. Every time one balloon touched another, one would pop. By the time I went to get a scissors from the kitchen and started to attempt to cut the ribbons shorter, five balloons had popped. As I tried to take one balloon and cut the ribbon, it would pop. One by one without even being touched every balloon popped. I couldnt even attempt to figure out why it was happening, as within 5 minutes every single balloon was popped.Not only was this a huge waste of my time and money, but it took me the last hour to clean up all the pieces of balloon which were everywhere all over the room. There is now the hi float chemical goo all over the floor of the nursery and its splatted all over the crib and brand new fabric rocking chair. Its a huge mess and a huge concern that theres now chemicals all over the babys new room, what a nightmare.Please see the photos below. You can clearly see the light fixture is not the problem as most of the balloons were nowhere near it. And the light was never turned on. You can also clearly see that the walls and ceiling are totally flat. There is no way the ceiling or the light fixture had anything to do with this. It seemed as though the balloons were overfilled with helium, it makes no sense why within 5 minutes all 20 balloons had popped leaving me with a huge mess to clean up.As expected, they said there is nothing they can do. My family gives them a ton of business and they know this, yet refused to do anything. The mess left from the pieces of balloon and chemicals all over is unacceptable and I wouldnt want anyone else to have to deal with this.

Needed to do some last minute Christmas shopping and wrapping, and this is definitely the place to go. The sales associates were very helpful and found me 2 x 5 rolls of the same wrapping paper (by searching through their inventory in the back/basement). They also have a good selection of xmas cards and holiday balloons. A great place to come and get decoration ideas, will definitely stop by here first next time!

Great selection but good luck finding anything. This place is an ugly, dirty, claustrophobic mess. Mounds of barely organized costumes and party items line the floors of every aisle and sit in heaps of every corner, often still in half-unpacked delivery boxes. The dim yet harsh fluorescent lights create an unwelcome and creepy atmosphere- not “fun” creepy, “creepy” creepy. One of these lights was flickering so severely that they genuinely should put up a seizure warning.They’re also no cheaper than the far better-organized and infinitely more fun and inviting “New York Costumes” just 4 blocks north.Wouldn’t recommend.

I absolutely loved this place when I went there and wanted to be able to return there multiple times. I spent over $150 there on balloons and they gave me the wrong numbers. When I got home and realized this they charged me to deliver new balloons a couple of blocks away and were extremely rude. Would not go back here again.

Long story short, if you can go to Party City.I had to come here because Party City ran out of number 5 gold balloons. Their prices were much more expensive, which I asked about price matching. They said no which was fine. But they proceeded to tell me that theirs was better and bigger so it warranted the price difference. I showed them a photo and it was the exact same packaging and sizing. But they kept insisting it wasnt the same. It was cheaper to buy the deflated balloon then go to party city to blow it up if you need two balloons.

Here you can find paper goods and costumes. I needed some great costumes for a party and was able to find everything here. I have also bought party goods to make parties in my apartment. They always have lots of products that appeal to all different religions around the many holidays.

Had the Halloween fluffy bunny ears I was looking for. They are helpful & nice, yet attentive to one customer at a time.

This shop makes rules as it goes. Watch out. I rented a tank with a $200 deposit they gave me a contract which I signed and wrote the amount. The teller changed the amount without telling me anything and they charged $10 for giving the deposit by Credit card . Again without telling me nothing. When I noticed I called told the supervisor and said you should have deposit in cash, I said I would if I was notififed /$10 for a transaction is a bit stiff. They did not care they said it is in their contract so I read it. It is not in it just what she hand wrote. I told them it is was not customer friendly after I spent over $100 there. They did not care. So here is the review for the buyers discretion.

STAY AWAY!!!! I ordered a large helium tank for a party. 2 hrs. Into the party the balloons started falling down one after the other. I called the store and this is when it got worst.I have never experienced a customer service this bad. They wouldnt help, or give me a solution or a refund, and on top of that they were extremely rude.If you want to have stress free preparation and a succesfully decorated party, this is not the place to go.

Prices are not as marked. Initially thought paper party hats were a few dollars. Got to the register and was charged $13.00, which I was suspicious of, but I was in a rush. Assumed I was wrong until I got home and read the price tag, which said $5.00.No refunds or exchanges. Feeling cheated.

This place saved my soul. I thought I could never learn the art of partying, but this place trained me. Now Im reborn, as a party monster. Wherever I go, the party follows. When there is a birthday in the cheesecake factory, I can summon millions of balloons in a second. When there is a child crying, I can make a party hat appear on his little hat and he will be filled with joy. Now days, I am training for the party dojo contest in GuangZhou China, and I believe sensei Wilson will teach me everything I need to know. 5/5 would recommend.

Youll get what you need but it is soooo overpriced. If you plan ahead you can get all the things available online that are present at the store. I bought two ballons and sparklers (6 count)for $54. I could have gotten the same two ballons and a helium tank on Amazon for $34.The staff is very friendly though.

Ordered a med size balloon(12) bouquet for my daughters 25th Bday. I called 5 other places and no one was interested in my order, at one, well known place, I was on hold for about 30 min, 2X!, I tried cuz I was getting desperate.At VPS, not only was the gentleman on the phone courteous, also patient and went above the norm to help me. They delivered the most beautiful bouquet and right on time. My daughter was the envy of the office.I will definitely order from them again!!
