Wow the best bagel ever!!!! I am vegan and they had the best vegan cream cheese and they even added hash browns on the bagel! I can’t say enough amazing things. Affordable and delicious!! And the customer service was amazing! I love Jerry!!! I’ll definitely come back every time I’m in the city!!

Good bagels. Awful congestion in COVID times, having to wait for 15 minutes in close quarters with tons of people. Nobody gets carded.

Its a unique Bagels shop with many varieties of bagels and fillings from vegetarian, meats, and sweets. The store kind of cramp for so many people want to get their breakfast. The bagel we got is called Liberty which is colorful yellow and chocolate styles and a little sweet but delicious.

This was our first visit to Liberty Bagels even though we both work in the neighborhood. We always choose The Best Bagel, but my teammates highly recommend us to try Liberty Bagels.It’s also popular that sometimes there is a line by the entrance but the wait wasn’t too bad. We had a couple of bagels, Everything & Rainbow with 2 cups of spread LOX & PB. The bagels were decent and the texture was chewy but not too tough.

Tasty bagel, came here for the classic nova. It was good but had a fishy taste to it compared to all the other lox bagels I’ve had. $15 for a bagel, they are massive but don’t think its worth that much. Maybe if you share with someone just for the experience I would recommend doing that. The eggier sandwiches looked bomb, probably should of tried that so not discrediting this place just yet. Also, tends to be a line, so if you can order in advance and pick-up it will be ready at the door.

The bagels are fresh. The best Ive ever had! I love that you can smple different fillings just as youd do at an ice cream shop :)). Great service, and the staff is so friendly.

I ordered the classic Nova (lox) + onions. My boyfriend got the New Yorker (breakfast sandwich).I had to stop here before leaving nyc and it was so worth it! Bagel was crispy and chewy if that makes sense. And they had so many cream cheese flavours! Will definitely be coming back.

Fabulous bagels, I tried the sesame and plain today, and some very creative cream cheese recipes. I highly recommend the honey siracha bacon! The place has a good vibe and the staff were very friendly. Great place to stop by if youre visiting and the locals seemed to think highly of it as well.Back 3 different times now and they are consistently a great place for breakfast! I hope everyone who loves bagels can stop by Liberty!

My favorite bagel place in the city so far! I discovered my love for bagels after eating one here. I’m usually not a fan because I’ve had some tough bagels in the past, but the ones here are soft and easy to bite into. I especially love the egg and onion bagels. There are a lot of room for customization. The cream cheese comes in a lot of different flavors and you can sample them in the store. I really like the tofu scallion option, which is dairy-free.

I went at morning rush and even though there was a little bit of a line, it moved quickly and my food was prepared promptly. The bagels were large and prepared properly - they tasted the way that New York bagels should taste! I had the bacon and scallion cream cheese. Yum! They have so many interesting flavors that Id like to try (oreo, birthday cake, pumpkin etc) but Im so addicted to the bacon/scallion that I havent yet. Ill be back again and again and again :-)

Have been here a few times and it keeps getting better! Also tried the fresh squeezed orange juice today, which was amazing! Highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch, or any other need. Staff is phenomenal!

Great bagels in Midtown. Liberty Bagels was delicious. I got the “New Yorker,” which is a bagel with eggs, brisket, and hash browns. Also got an Everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. Everything was delicious. This place is busy in the mornings, but they work through the line quickly and everyone goes here for a reason!

This is the best bagel I’ve ever had! It tastes even better than it looks! I had half with jalapeño cream cheese and the other half with avocado herb cream cheese and they were equally delicious! My husband had the strawberry cream cheese and loved it too! The bread was so soft and fresh and the staff was super friendly! I wish we had a location in Chicago!

Wow, i thought i had been to the best bagel place in Seattle. But this one has so much variety, all sorts of cream cheeses, and rainbow bagels!! I already love this place so much especially because Im vegan. I wish i could try all the bagels in this place!

Delicious bagels and fast service! Even though there was a long line I got my bagel fast. They have a very efficient system for placing your order, paying and then getting you your food. I love that they have a selection of tofu schmears for anyone wanting a dairy free option. Their variety of bagel flavors and cream cheeses is amazing! You can choose from a variety of sweet options and savory. I enjoy their whole wheat everything bagel with tofu vegetable schmear.

Keeping it real out here in midtownOur office always get our bagels and breakfast from here when we do get. Pricey, made me miss the good old days. The food never disappoint tho. We sometimes get the dozen bagel and they were always fresh. Bacon egg and cheese sandwich fairly decent as well. Will probably continue to visit, convenient location

Awesome! I saw their rainbow bagel and really wanted to try it as a desert bagel. Also got an everything bagel with lox spread (cream cheese with bits and pieces of smoked salmon). Very filling, reasonable prices ($4.75 for rainbow with strawberry spread and $5.10 for reg.bagel with low spread).The staff was nice, I was ale to try some of the spreads before deciding, since this was my first time ordering bagels and there are just so many options its overwhelming!I liked the salmon one more, might get the rainbow one again but without the spread and maybe just add jam at home? No sure ^^ but its so pretty! I think its $1.90 by itself.

Been here before but didnt comment on this AMAZING place. Its almost like a hidden gem. Weve had bagels and soup here pre-pandemic and man everything was YUMMY.This is our first time back to NY post-pandemic and Liberty Bagels DID IT disappoint. Unfortunately, they are still not making their awesome Chicken Noodle Soup...but Im sure they will soon. Thanks Liberty Bagels

Maybe its because Im a tourist from the west coast, but Ive truly not had a bagel like this. Wonderfully crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. We had 4 different types of bagels, both with cream cheese and as an egg sandwich, and all were unlike any bagel weve had anywhere else in the country. We tried a handful of bagel places in the city, and this was the best one.Highly recommend to locals and tourists alike.

Nice bagel place near 34 St / Herald Sq. Got the bacon scallion spread with garlic bagel and it was very savory. They offer samples on flavors and have a countertop available for dining.The coffee was average though.

I was walking home and I noticed a line so long I thought it was a movie set. There was a man at the door controlling the line so i decided to see what was the big deal. Another bagel shop. I found out quickly. All bagels, flavored cream cheese. They are the BASKIN ROBINS of bagels & cream cheese. 31 flavors plus. And the prices were the cheapest I’ve seen in years. I will be back.

SOOOOO GOOD. This is a rainbow bagel with strawberry cream cheese. It was so rich and filling (in a good way) that I could only eat half and saved half for the next day. Next time I really look forward to trying the french toast bagel or a BEC sandwich!!

New to NYC. 2 days. People keep talking about how great Bagel is. Tried this spot because of the reviews. Din like it. Bagels were hard n gave me a headache. Threw some in the trash, look for it if its still there.Maybe I dont knw how its to be had, n i told the lady taking the order too.. But got cold response with the cold bagel. These street food vendors provide better bagels n are friendly. If you dont like tourists, put a sign board. Only Americans..UPDATE: tried best bagels next door. Better service n better bagels, atleast when i asked them for recommendations.

So I ordered my bagels only thinking it would be easy enough to add coffees at pay... The lady at the counter was rude about adding on my coffee order, and to get my 2 iced coffees took 10 minutes while I saw other people getting their drink orders. Eventually I went back up, they had my coffees and had just never called it out.To add on, when I was placing my bagel order the girl taking my order mid-sentence looked away and started talking/laughing with her coworker. She then looked over and was like What were you saying? I had to start my order over again because she hadnt payed attention.PS I saw plenty of people ordering drinks at pay, no clue why I got so much hassle.Yall arent doing me a favor, I am here trying to pay for food. I will go where someone acts like they want to make money.

Ive tried several bagels from this place and I have never been disappointed, the bagels are always fresh and flavorful, one of my favorites now is the Protein Plus Sandwich, I get the deliciousness but also keep the calories on check. Highly recommend this place if you have a special love for good bagels.

Absolutely love how tasty their bagels are. It’s so difficult choosing just one bagel so I usually go with two. The rainbow bagel with birthday cake cream cheese hits different. You also can’t go wrong with their freshly sliced lox on a simple sesame seed bagel. Definitely recommend this spot to any locals and tourists visiting the big apple. 5/5

I LOVED this bagel spot! Dont let the long line scare you off! They have a great system that keeps things moving pretty quickly. Before making a decision, you can try any specialty cream cheese that you would like, which was somewhere around 12 flavors (?). The few I tried were all delicious, and it was hard to make a choice, but I ended with Avocado & Herbs and it was yummy! The bagels are fresh, reasonably priced, and the specialty cream cheeses will blow you away! Definitely give this place a try!! You wont be disappointed!

What a great welcome to NYC! We got off the train at Penn Station and quickly stumbled on this gem. The bagels were big and chewy. The service was fast and efficient. We’ll be going back for more!

I thought I had my favorite bagel place in NYC before I tried Liberty Bagels. The bagels are unmatched in quality and flavor and stay warm longer than any bagel I’ve ever had. The selection of cream cheeses is massive and some of the best I’ve ever tried, I recommend the scallion lox to any classic lox bagel fans. The customer service is fast and friendly and the price is unbeatable especially for NYC! Cannot recommend highly enough.

CHECK YOUR BAGEL BEFORE YOU LEAVE! I can’t tell you how many times I got back to my office and opened up an incorrect order. I specify NOT toasted, they toast it. I say add tomato, there’s no tomato. Quick, friendly service; I say this a more local spot as there are only six seats/stools so it looks meant for people to take to-go. The blueberry bagel tastes more blueberry than Best Bagel across the street. They are relatively thick and have good chewy, texture on the inside. The rainbow bagel looks cool, apparently it will taste a little sweet? Pictures are of Blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese and a plain bagel with egg salad.

The bagels are being made fresh in-house, while you order. They have more flavors of schmear than you could imagine, all of which were absolutely delicious.The service was very fast and friendly, and although they were super busy both times we went, they still turn out the orders within 5 min max!Definitely worth the walk if you’re anywhere near this joint!!!

Liberty Bagels was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. We could have visited every day to try a new bagel. There was too much choice! I went for the Empire Rainbow Bagel which was delicious - Fresh Carved Turkey, Coleslaw, Melted Swiss & Spicy Mustard.

Gotta have a NYC bagel!When I lived in NY, I’d always stop by one of the street carts on my way to work to grab a simple bagel with butter for breakfast.While visiting, I decided to try Liberty bagels as it was on my way to MSG and they had the instagrammable, colorful bagels.While walking there, I saw a huge line of people lining up for the “best bagel and coffee.” Later realized this was not Liberty Bagels so left the line and headed here instead where there was not line. Score!They had bagel samples on the counter up for grabs and a sign that says to request cream cheese samples as well. I tried the rainbow bagel and the blueberry cream cheese and they were both good. They also have fun flavors such as Birthday cake and Oreo cream cheese.For the colorful bagels, they have the Rainbow bagel which is a bit sweet. They also have the Liberty bagel which is just food coloring.The bagel was nice and hard outside and kinda soft inside just like the street bagels I remember. The one I ordered had lots of Lox, scallion cream cheese and tomatoes. Not cheap at $13 almost but 10% off with Yelp check in.There’s not a lot of sitting space but people usually eat fast.Enjoy!

We had breakfast from this shop twice. The first time we went in person. Super busy spot, a bit disorganized on the ordering front with people just milling around waiting for their order. Lots of bagel flavors and cream cheese to choose from. Both times I had the sesames bagel with plain cream cheese and my friend had an everything bagel with lox spread. We also both got flavored iced coffees. The second time we ordered via Grubhub as we had to catch the train home. Food was packaged well and arrived earlier than expected. Definitely recommend going if staying close by!

This guys know what are they doing, dont worry if you see a lot of people when you get in, they do fast I spent more time deciding than the time they call me to get my order. The bagels are crunchy and soft inside delicious. See you soon. 👍
