This is a great place to go to for dried seafood and herbs. My family always come here for the best prices for dry foods. Ramen, cookies/crackers, spices, sauces.. Although the market itself is on the small side, it is always crowded so you have to leave your cart outside. Cashiers work fast so even though there’s a line, it moves fast.

This place gets packed for good reason - they have a ton of Chinese grocery items at affordable prices. I like going to the tea section to stock up on some good Chinese herbal tea. Great service too - the staff is always helpful with my questions even though their day is busy with stocking and running around.

Traditional Chinese market to find all the unique ingredients in your favorite, straight-from-Asia dishes. They have an assortment of seasonal items like mooncakes available during the holiday season, dried items like scallops and 2 aisles of dried noodles. Gets pretty crowded during the weekend so Id would try to go when people are at work or something.

My mom went to this store to get some health products for my dad and came home to measure it to see if it was accurate. It was about 10~ grams off and charged us for it. That’s not even the bad part. My mom called them just to get some answers and mind you, she wasn’t being rude at all. BUT the lady on the phone was giving extreme attitude. She asked my mom to speak faster because she’s busy (who says that to a customer?) and she doesn’t have time to “argue” with her when my mother’s tone was extremely calm. The lady on the phone was EXTREMELY rude and it doesn’t help that they charged us extra. Customer service was absolutely horrendous. I’m assuming the person on the phone was the boss. I’d avoid this place.

Genuine Chinese and other Asian items. However, the gem of this store is the herbal items that are also available here. You walk in and, immediately, you can smell the aroma of the herbs from the herbal section of the store. The downside is that the stuff is expensive. Then, again, no herbal remedy is ever cheap.

Great inexpensive Chinese supermarket. It has a wide selection of instead noodles. Can pick up practically any condiment that you may need for cooking. They also carry a lot of Chinese medicines. You can always ask them what its for. And they will tell you. They can also recommend certain herbs to help keep you healthy.

My mom went to the store and brought some dried sea cucumber, she picked 11 pieces and then it got bagged and weighted. The total was $142.88. But somehow when she got home, there were only 9 pieces. So she called and the boss lady asked her to come today and they can weigh it together and see. Unfortunately when she went at 9:40 am, the male and female at the dried good counter said the boss lady is off today so why did she tell her to go to the store. Our family has been coming to this store for years and it’s a shame they became like this. So if you are buying dried goods make sure you don’t look away cause, anything can happen and it’s your lost. They lost our respect and we won’t be coming here again.

I have shopped at this market for years and never had this bad experience before. I boughtgrocery and non grocery items all the times and taxes were included in the prices for the non grocery items. This time the cashier charged me additional taxes for the non grocery items without informing me. After I got my receipt and asked her why additional taxes were charged. She didnt tell me why and gave me a nasty attitude. Her service was not good. If it’s taxable, I can buy from elsewhere. There are no shopping bag available and I said I will pay for it and the cashier is not willing to sell me a plastic bag or give me a paper bag.

From March 1, 2020 my experience on the service is terrible. Long line, mostly only One cashier is available, others are doing something else at cashier. Also, I have to pack my own merchandise into my own shopping bag and no helps from cashier. She just collect the money and stand there. 👎👎👎 service is getting worse over the year. They should improve their service soon before no one shop in their store. 🤔

This is a great store to purchase Chinese dried herbs, seafood, spices or etc. Usually the staff will offer assistance when they noticed you need help finding a specific item. However, Im unsure if the same service is rendered if you do not speak Cantonese or Mandarin. I will still recommend this store as I find their prices tend to be cheaper than other supermarkets in the area.

A neighborhood and family favorite. My family always comes here to buy ginseng or any other dried Chinese goods, which are high quality. If you get to know the owner and the workers, you can haggle and get a good discount!Dont except to be treated like a king here! They are always busy and will just treat you like a commoner and shoo you off the line once youre done paying. Also be prepared for some pushing and shoving with the constant bustle of people!

My first visiting to this shop was back to 25 years ago. Chinatown has made significant changing in last 25 years but this store remains the same with the same reputation in elder generation. The major changing is the price. I tried to buy some high quality sea cucumber in here, then realized the good quality dried sea cucumber is 599/lb. LoL
