Hot food is available. Looked good but I didnt try.overpriced rice. bread products are hard.
This place has all your Filipino grocery needs! The place is small but has so much stuff! They had everything I was looking for. This is easy to get to. The L train exit is a block away. This is around the corner from Target. The staff is friendly. I recommend this place for your Filipino groceries needs!!
The best grocery store ever got! If youre looking for gourmet food, organic food, or anything in between, they have it. Eventually, this lovely store had everything we needed. I love their store so much, too. It was clean, and the staff were very friendly. I should be honest, it was a lot nicer than the store near my house.
Great find but it seems like the fresh items can be hit or miss. Big assortment of freshly made Filipino foods. 4star because some staples were off - the siopao is dry and bready and the pandesal was old - you have to run it under running water before popping into the toaster oven to make it soft and palatable. But other items were amazing: kutsinta, hopia (vacuum packed from the fridge), the salted eggs, the balut (which you cook at home). Also got ube powder to make ube ice cream, and frozen grated ube to make ube halaya.
The stuff i bought there were old and expired. I have been to other Filipinon stores and have not been disappointed but Jhonny air mart didnt make the cut.
Small Filipino convenience store with lots of goodies. They have the staples from Filipino snacks to condiments. I was really happy to see suman, puto, kutsinta, and atsara here! The people who work here are really nice and helpful, don’t be afraid to ask them questions, they’re more than glad to help. So glad to that I don’t have to trek outside the city to get some authentic Filipino food.
Good location but needs to be a little bigger inside the mirror on the wall fool you a bit making look bigger when its not. Dont walk into it lol. Prices are responsible will go again.
Came all the way here and is closed is 4:30? Smh
There is a lady who hangs around the establishment with the most miserable communication skills — likes to pretend she doesn’t speak nor understand her native language, yet cannot express herself in English. Placing this woman in a position where she interacts with customers reflects bad business management. The food items are not nearly good enough to make the trip here. I do not recommend.
My second time visit. Wheres Paul? Hello kuya. Youre cute po.
Great Filipino store if youre in the area.
Best selections
I can get Philippine food and easy to send money remittance
Good for dry and canned Asian goods. I get my hook up of spring roll skins, bed thread noodles, dried mango and other exotic canned goods. They have a lot of sweets, steamed buns, prepared food for sale but I havent been that adventurous. On weekends they roast an entire pig and sell the meat. It apparently sells out by lunch.
Very good.
Very sarcastic staff especially the petite one named Babes. Very unprofessional and need to get refresher course. FAILED
Wanted to like the place as its conveniently located in manhattan. Limited goods. DO NOT buy the food there. I got a little excited and bought a bunch of stuff from the fridge. I shouldve known by the way the labels looked a little weathered. I was already eating the Biko (hard a dry) when I realized it was covered in MOLD!! Glad I didnt get sick, but I ended up throwing out the rest of the prepared foods I bought. Do yourself a favor and trek into Queens for some fresh food.
Very good
Geoff, the store has nothing to do with UPS MY CHOICE. If you dont know, the access point is just for pick up. We have no control of transport. So better take it up with UPS.
Great grocery specializing in hard-to-find Filipino groceries.
They also have a Philippian market with some of the most popular Philippian foods.Ive also used their delivery service;they were faultless!
Everything you need in a Filipino store 😁
Great place to get authentic Filipino food!
Very friendly and accommodating.
Bought leche flan and when I got home same day found mold growing on it. Trying to post photo. Will post on yelp with receipt for evidence
We stopped in here to look at the Filipino groceries and to get a quick snack. Love the selection. We got some warm siapoa that had egg plus pork/chicken. Only $2! They also had some prepared foods in sauces. We also got some nutcrackers for two dollars. The frozen selection was good (ube, buko, and mango) ice cream, but it was a little more pricey ($7-10)
I mean at least I dont need to go to queens or jersey city Phil Am to get my Filipino ingredients/needs. They had ballut the other day I bought 4 with my friends and we ate it while rolling thru the anchovies pizza
Google has it wrong. I havent visited this place.
Worst! Horrible! Such a bad experience the moment I step in to this store. Especially that old lady witch. Even one star is not deserving!
Friendy
Has all the basic grocery needs for cooking Filipino dishes right here in Manhattan!
If you are thinking about having a UPS delivery dropped here, think again. They refused my package and via My Choice UPS Services. Made a complete mess of an already bad situation. If you are not able to accept packages please remove yourself from the service.
