Very cute but also very small inside. As a tourist from small town ohio, I couldnt afford anything personally but it also wasnt incredibly out of my price range. If I needed a dress for an event Id totally stop here to find a gorgeous vintage outfit. It is very small inside, narrow.

I stopped by to check out what this store had to offer today. There are some interesting pieces, some overpriced and some fairly priced. My biggest complaint was that I was completed ignored by the staff.I said hello and got no response. No greeting, no asking if I needed any help, no acknowledgement at all, no response even to me saying thank you as I left. Just rude.

Woweeee! What a selection to chose from! I’ve been to this shop a few times and am floored with the wide variety of timeless styles. A true one of a kind boutique right in the heart of SOHO.I recently bought a cute hat here (that I’m obsessed with) with the assistance of a kind and sweet blonde hair associate that took the time to show each piece and educated me on not only the brand and era, but the aftercare for material and how to style it.Definitely going to come back with my mom when she comes to visit!

Had a great experience here and tried on some nice garments. It was cool to visit a real vintage shop in SOHO while on vacation in New Yokr with my family. I cant believe COVID is over! was dying to take a trip to NYC and come back to my hometown looking like Carrie or Samantha from sexy and the city.. and that I did!...with help from the amazing employee who looked like an authentic NYC IT girl! I trusted her fashion sense and bought accordingly...Money well spent. Great service. We had a nice lunch at McDonalds afterwards. Thank you Ritual Vintage in NYC!!!!!

Best vintage shop in NYC! They have an incredible collection that dates all the way back to the 1800s. They have lots of 60s and 70s pieces... real vintage. Shops like these are getting harder and harder to come by. The curation is impeccable. This is what sets this shop apart from the rest. I have read other people complaining about the price... I have to disagree. Their prices are fair and much lower than other curated vintage shops in NYC. Their designer pieces are actually marked much lower than other places in Manhattan. The staff is always very warm, friendly and helpful. A jewel!

It has moths. If you must shop here, please dry clean the item before bringing it home. I have also seen 90s labelled as 70s here, and personally purchased some mislabelled pieces, so consider your purchase carefully. They have an interesting, eclectic selection, but I would warn collectors to do their own research.

What a disappointment!!! I paid through the nose for two pair of pants through FP from this shop. Items pictured was not as described. They were final sale and I could not returned them. Buyers beware. Wished Id done my research.Response from the owner 3 weeks agoRESPONSE FROM THE OWNER:You purchased two pairs of rare original 70s denim bells through free people.com. Please be mindful that this is a review page for an independent physical business in NYC and not an area to review Free People transactions. We have an extremely clear, standard, and transparent final sale policy across all of our platforms as this is vintage clothing. Our FP items mention final sale 5 times per listing ( 3 in the description, once in bold red at check out and once in each photo grid ). We did reach out to you to find out what items were incorrect in your order but never received a response from you. We are sorry you are disappointed with our stated policy but we cannot grant blind returns with zero explanation or reason provided. We definitely encourage customers to read our policies, descriptions and measurements before purchasing and to clearly communicate issues with us so all parties can be involved in a respectful transaction.RESPONSE to VINTAGE RITUAL:First and foremost. Let me be clear. You did not reached out to me. I initially contact FP because I purchased them through FP. Once I had realize and in speaking with FP that they were final sale and I could not have returned them so, I had no choice but to settle. So I decided to write a review and post it. Be mindful everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I am okay at this point. In life you loose some and you gain some.It is what it is at this point. Once thing for sure you will not be getting my business through FP again and your attitude stinks as a business owner.AGAIN BUYERS BEWARE!

This is my go to spot for anything unique and rare. I have found some amazing hats and vintage shirts here that I constantly get asked about. The shop is women’s exclusive but there are some amazing finds. Bailey was so helpful and took great time to pull out pieces, which solidified a five star experience. Anytime my girlfriends visit or I need something special for mom this is my go to place.

The staff was very rufde and treated my girlfriend and I like scum. If you go here wearing relaxing clothes they may treat you like second class people. The fur coats are very real and very authentic. It was a small shot, they dont want drinks or food beyond the counter at the door so be aware of that. Lastly it was very interesting to see the old clothing, not just to buy but as a tourist stop if someone likes old, weird, and interesting clothing.

A lot of really beautiful dresses, skirts, strange 70th costumes, BUT many of those years clothes made from synthetic ! You can not wear it ! And i dont understand why prices so high? I have been in many different vintage fairs and markets, this level of prices not acceptably for THAT types of clothing.

Gorgeous clothes! But this place is very small. If there is a couple people inside, it will make it difficult to look around.

I dont get it. Pricing is all over the place. Its okay. But Ive been to better in NYC and in Paris. Its all over the place with its editing. Some low end pieces, some rare pieces, some high and some low, I guess thats the point, but there is not much of a fashion focus here. I would go back, but I like a more focused and edited store personally.

Great store with a really nice vintage clothes selection. The quality looks amazing, there are different well-known brands
