Went in the other day just to check out and ended up having 30 minute conversation with the owner about spirituality and meditation. The owner is a really pleasant guy and the shop really reflects that. Well-stocked, low-key, and with a very cozy vibe - I cant recommend this place enough!

I visited the location on 11 Saint Marks Place. Beautiful store and beautiful vibes. Dawa was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. A warm and compassionate person. High quality and authentic items. I purchased a book, stone, bracelet and a wonderfully crafted full moon singing bowl. I highly recommend this store.

This is another great place to go. They have two locations one in St.Marks Place and on MacDougal Street. I found these rings that I love at both locations. Nice place to get jewelry and Malas.

This is the most authentic Buddhist store I came across. I have travelled all over and did not see anything like this. Complete line of Buddhist products that is very good quality and reasonably priced.

Im amending my review because not all the staff understand the differences between Sterling Silver & other precious metals designations.Mrs. Olstein found beautiful silver jewelry for Mr. Olstein. Unfortunately it turned out to be German silver. I do love this store but, all the jewelry should be completely properly described. You cannot day you sell Sterling Silver without the jewelry STAMPED. I know the buyer should beware & do thier homework but, please do the right thing and inform your customers about the different qualities of the jewelry you sell .

Very grateful to have gone here. It was a very enlightening and positive experience. Very knowledgeable staff and welcoming. You have to experience the singing bowls. The vibrations and sound were very comforting. Cant explain it, all I can say you should experience it for yourself... Will be returning frequently. Cant wait for the new lager store/Meditation area to open in the East village.

Beautiful store....courteous staff, and a pleasure talking to and meeting the owner. Prices are not of your mass produced chinese style items.... the price is matched up to high quality. i.e. I bought several singing bowls there, and bracelets (that have a high-quality silver..), and the Bowls have an excellent hand made shape and pure sound to them, that are not of the mass produced off key sounding kind....again, they are a high end hand made hand carved kind so youre not going to be expecting bargain prices there. All to say the prices are worth it.Thank you for your shop being here in NYC!

Nice-ish place. They have prayer beads, singing bowls, scarves, incense, altar cloths, bells, crystals. Everything is overpriced, of course, but you have to expect because of the location. I try to buy from stores instead of online because I want the stores to be around so I support them as much as I can. A girl was managing the shop the first time I went in and it was an utterly pleasant experience. I bought some sandalwood beads and a singing bowl. Loved it all. This time there was a man there who asked if I wanted help, showed me one thing and when i asked if there were other colors or other designs, he said, Theres nothing for you here! I still stayed a few moments, looking at other things, inquired about the price of one item and then he looked up from his cellphone long enough to say, The price is on that. I did want to buy some lapis lazuli beads but felt so terribly unwelcome that I decided to leave because why would you give your money to someone who so clearly doesnt want you to buy from them? If I knew when the girl would be there again, Id go back, but otherwise chances are slim.

I visited two other stores before I found Land of Buddha. I was looking for a singing bowl. Dahwah showed me several bowls, and demonstrated how to make them sing. He was very knowledgeable; and explained that each bowl is a musical note corresponding to a specific chakra. Dahwah was courteous and most of all, very patient as I struck different bowls to see which note resonated with me the most. I I highly recommend Land of Buddha. .

Interesting store, nice inventory; however, I think I was upcharged $10 over sticker price and the store clerk tried to run my card through as debit instead of credit to avoid the interchange fee. I am sure it is expensive to have a store.

My favorite shop in NY! Ali Babas cave for lovers of Asian jewelry. Prepare a budget because you will fall in love and some parts are quite expensive. The little extra: in the heart of greenwich.
