By far my favorite place in New York City. Its not only a poster gallery, but a full experience. The owners treat every client like a member of their family and spare no time nor effort to give a beautiful history lesson on each one of their original pieces. They also have the most amazing taste and I would trust them with my eyes closed to always design the perfect frame. I never thought Id be able to own a museum worthy/ 120+ years old piece of art. But I guess thats the fun of posters... Thank you for helping me turn my house into a home!

What an amazing collection. Linda, Eli, and Mia were all amazingly helpful, passionate, and patient with everyone who walked in. Linda was so nice and knowledgeable! This was our first poster purchase and we learned a TON. Everyone who works here knows EVERYTHING about posters and has a story about each piece. This is my new favorite spot!! I recently purchased this Ed Sagot poster from La Belle Époque and had the best experience. They have a huge selection of amazing vintage posters. The best part, though, is that the owners are extremely knowledgeable about the history and background of every single poster in their shop. They truly bring the posters to life!! I would recommend this special spot to everyone. Even if you dont intend on buying, You should still stop by for the experience. Hopefully I can make another purchase again soon!

La Belle Epoque is hands down one of the best shops I have been in before. My mother and I came in to find a vintage poster she has been wanting for our house. Not only did they have it but they had so many other amazing posters we got to see! It truly was like visiting a museum. In addition, Elie and Linda are two of the most knowledge people about this artwork. Not to mention also extremely kind. My mom got the beautiful poster she wanted here! La Belle Epoque is one of the most unique vintage art stores in Manhattan. I normally dont write reviews but my multiple experiences purchasing and visiting this location have been unmatched. The art itself is diverse, special and one-of-a-kind. The customer service is outstanding as the owners are with you every step of the process and have impeccable guidance when it comes to selecting the piece that would work well with your space. My most recent purchase has been a wonderful addition to my home and has caught the eye of everyone who has visited. Our first visit to this store was in 2004. The variety and quality of the merchandise is exceptional. The framing is the best I have ever seen. What an amazing place. We stopped in during a recent shopping trip to NYC and fell in love with this shop and the owners. They were just coming back from a show, and were moving hundreds of the most beautiful rare posters I have ever seen back into the shop. They were so kind, they asked what we liked and were interested in seeing, and then proceeded to unroll poster after poster in front of us. Each was gorgeous, authentic, and in excellent shape. The owners knowledge of each poster, the style, rarity, and artist was astounding, often taking a moment to share a story about it or the genre. She helped us narrow our search to a selection of vintage travel posters that were within our price range, and helped us decide exactly the theme and style that would work for us. We wont buy a vintage poster anywhere else, ever.

I loved my experience here. Elie, Linda and Sam are truly special. If you have not come in for framing or vintage posters/printed items Do Not Wait any longer! I learned more about my purchase & framed item and look forward to retuning to buy more. Such a good experience. I had to leave a review given my stellar customer service experience. Last Xmas Ellie designed a custom frame for a group of photos I wanted to give to family members, and it turned out beautifully. Today I needed a picture framed in time for a dear friends 75th birthday this Saturday. Ellie and Linda used all their resources and skill to make this special gift ready in time for the celebration. Great dedication, above and beyond what I could reasonably have expected. Highly recommend them to all!

What a little treasure... i stumbled on it during a walk around the village. I was looking for something to remember my time in New York, and to take a piece of it home to London with me... I found just the thing. A poster of 1920s scene of Broadway... given Broadway shows have been my companion in the US, this is very poignant for me and struck a chord! the staff were just awesome... i could have sat there and chatted for longer! thank you for my lovely Nepresso coffee...
