I purchased my platinum engagement ring from Israel Rose two years ago and recently discovered that they re-sized it with white gold instead of platinum, so now the shaft is cracking and must be completely replaced with a new platinum shaft. Substituting white gold for platinum - and ruining the ring shaft - was a blatantly dishonest business practice, and I would certainly not recommend this jeweler.

Very very rude on the phone!I called to ask a question (also if someone speaks Hebrew which is my native language) about a ring I needed for my husband and I got cut off even without finishing my sentence!I will definitely will not make any business with you!What was that? A big disappointment after I read all the good reviews.

Id been searching for just the right sapphire band for a year. I found one on the Israel Rose Estate Jewelry website so I emailed. David responded so quickly and kindly to all my emails requesting information and even an additional photo of the ring on the hand. The ring was overnighted to me (and they did not gouge me on the insurance, thank you) and I am so very pleased with it. It is in perfect condition, nicely polished and clean, and the ring is exactly as described to me/photographed by David. I will be back to buy more estate pieces from David/Israel Rose.

Highest quality jewels and wonderful to work with!

I have purchased two very different items from Israel Rose Jewelry, and have been very happy with both. In both cases, I purchased from the website. In one case, I bought a very expensive (for my budget) ring after asking questions and seeking advice from the people at Israel Rose. My wife was delighted with the ring and when I had it valued, I was even more pleased. Great service and products!

Some of the nicest people you will find in the city— not pushy, patient, attentive, etc. Really great selection, beautiful and something for everyone, and extremely fair prices. They are clearly knowledgeable.

Ten years ago, I ordered my wedding band for my wife from Israel Rose Jewelry. My wife fell in love with the ring and through those 10 years received so many compliments on it. To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we flew from Charleston to NY to visit the store front.In the back of a room on West 47th sits Isreal Rose. It’s not the most glamorous space and If you are looking for the Sweet Home Alabama Tiffany’s experience it is not that...it’s actually better.We made an appointment to see David on the plane coming into JFK through the website. He got back to us within 10 minutes. I sent him pictures of my wife’s wedding band to find something complementary.When we arrived, like I said above, they are in the back of a storefront almost across the street from GIA. Walking up to their booth, there wasn’t just a few, but hundreds of vintage rings from estate sales. David was gracious enough to walk my wife through lots of choices. Narrowing down the selection process. He was patient, kind, honest, and wonderful to work with.To make the experience even better, a gentleman came in beside us shopping his 10th anniversary. The group shared laughs and stories about families and our experience there.Polished storefronts and name brand boutiques only get you so far.
