This place is a fantastic public market for your weekend shopping! 🛍 Grand Bazzar NYC has a fantatic collection of booths and vendors with an endless selection of food 🥙, clothes 👕, and household items 🏠! Really fun to walk around and explore all the explore! Definitely they the corndog by Clubdog NYC! 🌭 I wish I came here more often!
A little bit of everything. Safe environment with a lot of great art and food. Well organized. Something for everyone. Folks of all ages. Definitely worth the experience.
Cool stuff. Cool food vendors, too: in particular, Club Dog - its a good Korean corn dog, nice to grab and eat on a bench in the perimeter of the Museum of Natural History. Minus 1 star for sprinkling it with sugar, though. I mean, I get it, its part of the thing, but it doesnt add to the flavor (imho).
EDIT - as opposed to three months ago, it is now teeming with fabulous artists, vintage sellers and more !!! (October 2021). I bet this will be THE best place to do Christmas shopping. The Grand Bazaar is back at last! It’s not quite as full as before, and the indoor portion has not reopened as of early July 2021. Also, I didn’t see as many artists / artisans as pre Covid. It’s more flea market. However the vendors seemed excited to be there, customers looked happy, and I walked away with some great little treasures. Wonderful way to spend some of your Sunday outdoors and to support the local community.
Great stalls yet overwhelmingly crowded with people ogling their phones rather than the merchandise. I would definitely try going earlier in the day versus later. That said, if you go in the afternoon, you can still catch the farmers market across the street which has great produce
Bought some lovely earrings from Julie Siegmund, the designer of Carnelian Knoll. Shes going to fashion a matching pendant: cant wait! I just love her jewelry!
Its open on Sundays and offers quaint and not so quaint items for sale You can find personalised bow ties for your pets from woffaccesories to snacks to Old vinyl records of Johnny Cash and Dean Martin to Chandeliers, old statues of Buddha old hand knotted carpets from Eurasia and a whole lot more. Along the walk to the bazaar you will also come across a farmers market with fresh eggs vegetable and fruits direct from the farmers The grand bazaar is located on Columbus Avenue and is a short walk from the subway
It was really nice to have the closed streets and see what all these local stores had to offer. I just wished it would have been advertised more.
So many vendors and so much variety in food - definitely a place you have to stop by to get unique finds.
This place is all about seeing how much money they can dig out of vendors with no concern about the success of vendors. Telling vendors there is no space for vendors own booth so that they can force vendors to rent the organizers booth. I will not go back. I make way less money here than the fees I pay the organizer. They should be paying me to be there entertaining the other vendors and patrons. The organizers make up the rules as they go along and use bait and switch and strong arm tactics to gouge vendors.
While I have never purchased anything here in find the notion of buying crystals and silver en masse a bit ridiculous, there is certainly something for everyone. Personally, this makes for an excellent addition to an afternoon spent at the farmers market in Central Park and may even lead to some interesting sights.
New York City has small apartments, which often makes me disappointed I cant patronize these small vendors more. The parking lot provides a wide assortment of decor and knick knacks that will be good for gifts, but maybe not too much for my own place.
A nice place to stop by if you like thrifting. Lots of different kinds of stalls that offer vintage clothing, antique silver and random other knick knacks.Try and avoid this one stall with a tall Russian guy. He has one of the bigger stalls here with foreign coins, film and other stuff. He has a terrible personality and is rude as hell. And he also sets up at Chelsea Flea
Its back again after a hiatus due to COVID. Some food stalls are back, including pickles. Aisles are further apart for adequate crowd flow. Picked up some sunglasses for $5 and a ladybug pin for $10. Always a fun little trip.
Great finds. Good deals. Haggling is a must.
Vintage items at reasonable prices. The vendors have a good selection of unique items; they are always accommodating and honest. As a whole, I enjoyed it a lot.We bought a bronze wall street bull, jewelry made from vintage coins, some other sculptures, key chains, and a Tibetan art piece. It is all about the people, and this place has the right vendors. You can find some food in the bazar, but no washrooms. We didn’t see all vendors because, after three hours, my partner needed to find John. So we went to a burger shack right beside the bazaar, which is so good, by the way.
A little expensive, but what isnt in NYC? Found some cool vintage and handmade pieces, Id check it out over L-Train Vintage any day no question
First trip out to a flea market in awhile ...i think i preferred it when it wasnt so curated, crafty and bespoke but nonetheless bought a nicholas and the cages t shirt and greatly enjoyed the vinyl guy playing the beatles second album on a turntable that aurally replicated hearing the album way back in 64.also, shout out to designer with the afrocentric jumper and shirt that i was considering buying that my family reeled me in from purchasing because really who needs to see an old guy walking thru clinton hill/bed stuy wearing that ... although my words does not put money in your pocket please know that i appreciate your skill, taste and overall vibe. cheers.
Good food carts. Short on seating. Many items depending on what you are looking for. Some things way overpriced. Some vendors will negotiate the price. Interesting market for locals and tourists.
It was nice. I would have liked to buy some silver but the table was so crowded I couldnt get up to to actually pick some things.
Went for famous food festival (taste of the world)but ended up eating nothing coz we had lunch right before that. I would have tried twisted cake and twisted potato fries. It looked very tempting, Had more good stalls for food. There were stalls for clothes, jewelry & antique pieces too. Ended up buying few silver jewelry.
Theres a wide variety of items such as good painting and art decor for the home. The food and drinks are delicious.
This is actually a twofer. The market is quite robust and busy. Diagonally across the street is a ginormous (for a neighborhood) indoor/outdoor flea market.
Great if you are into antiques and thrifting. They had all sorts of venders from people who sell tea, photography, silverware, African artwork, and clothing.
Very lax. Not too many booths. Booths there very interesting.
Lots of cool set ups. One of the biggest flea markets I’ve seen in NYC ~ very nifty and artisanal items. There’s also food at the entrance. Bring cash but some also take Venmo. Worth going to more than once!Just know you have to enter through the W 77th and Columbus corner.
We went on sunday and honestly I wasnt impressed. They had some variety but not much. Two blocks down the streets were closed and there were some vendors there and it was much better.
Clubdog NYC has great Korean corn dogs
Came looking for a specific sunglasses... I FOUND THEM! Im ecstatic!
Beautiful place to seat and enjoy the afternoon
One always find something in the Bazaar.
Five star the best one ever but however do a difficult pickle called T stat but this covid-19 but so later that I will be open coming soon
Its an OK place.. Have seen better
Maybe I arrived too late . I didnt enjoy myself . I did love the choice of vendors . The lines were ridiculous. 40 min wait minimum. I really dont want to say too many bad things about this place . I believe it could have been better if there was orginazation and someone working the lines . .. it was very very crowded ! So it triggered my anxiety because I was with my toddler .I will not go back and I do not recommend unless you go early in the morning to avoid the lines
I went to here today with my wife and I find those cool early 1900s photo plates on glass. I thought this is going to be pricy but I was $10 for each this antiques are so beautiful. I totally recommend here. When people visit NYC or Manhattan should stop by here there is high possibilities to see cool antiques. My wife got antique jewelry box for only $10. We both really satisfied for the place! They also have vintage clothes for sale too so its good to check out. Only things ti be careful is only open sunday.
Lots of fun, many quality vendors
Decent spot. Lots of cool vendors.
It was nice !Hope it will be more creative vendors!
Didn’t buy anything. Expensive but super fun to walk through and browse
Mom and I have come here for years! On a recent trip we got to visit again and we couldnt believe how much its grown! While the indoor section has remained the same (with a flea market feel) the outside has gained a lot.In the parking lot there is a mix of food and local artists. The artist sell everything from lawn decorations and wall art to jewelry and old glass bottle. The food? A few ice cream options, some Mexican, some Asian, some vegetarian/vegan, something for everyone! But just know that the lines for some of these place get pretty long!
Its just ok, but Okay Bazaar doesnt sound as catchy for branding.
Fun, eclectic, so ny!
Wasnt impressed as a first time visitor, after having moved 2 years prior. NYC prices as expected plus an attitude if you dare to pick up something that piques your interest. They size you up.
Great finds
Very good 👍
Really disappointed, not what expected. Lots of vintage items but nothing really seen before. The vendors inside are better. The artisans had nice unusual item. If you looking for jewelry hand made you can find a few good items. You are better going to Union Square.Shops have new beautiful items and a variety.
Love this place. So many vendors & delicious food. The merchandise range from old vintage records to beautifully hand crafted hand bags & clothing. There are home goods, clothing for animals, designer coats and an endless amount of jewelry, socks, furnture and more.
Very good place
We went for the Maple Fest which was advertised to be in the Grand Bazaar, it wasnt really a festival as much as it was just 2-3 booths selling maple items. Regardless, there were a lot of good eats here and there were also the vendors selling everything but food. Lots of unique vintage items, clothes, records, etc. Seemed to be a little bit of everything and its not so large where you feel you cant finish seeing everything. It seemed to be less than 20 vendors including the food vendors, so you can go around easily. We would come here on a Sunday afternoon again...and its worth you checking it out too.
Sunday flea market. Lots of local artists exhibiting and selling. Vintage dealers too. Lots to see but immediate area lacked good refreshment places. Good foodie market across the road but a sit and a cool drink could not be had..
More than anything, surprising. We were on our way to the Natural History Museum when we caught a glimpse of the bazaar. Upon entry we thought this to be a tiny little pop up market but soon discovered it be considerably more than that. This place has many stands indoor and out with a wide variety of items on sale from furniture and antiques to apparel and accessories. Really fun and friendly atmosphere with interesting and helpful people throughout. Really enjoyable and unexpected surprise. Loved it!
Great flea market with a bunch of local sellers. A bunch of it is junk but to each their own. It is right next to the Museum of Natural History which is cool and its easy to get to. There is also a farmers market nearby if youre into that. I will be going back next time Im in New York.
Great place to find anything and everything youre looking for & some things that youre not, lol. Prices vary. The crowd is friendly & eager to help. Its an all day event so wear comfortable shoes.
Had a great time me & a good friend of mines . Went together for the first time 2 weeks ago . Weather was wonderful the bazaar was much more than I thought it was going to be . Cant wait to go back but I must say its better when the weather is good . So u can get all the vibes of it when its outside & inside . Looking for things I never thought about gettingIm a creative person & I like being around a place like this . Its a cool place for everyone . It was a fun filled day .
The food area was smallish but had a solid diversity. There was tons of junk but definitely some solid gems hidden throughout. Id say more than half was just hoarders unloading but it was still a worthwhile excursion
One of the best markets we went to in NYC. Flea/antique/craft all in one. Prices vary but bargains can be had. Not as crowded as many places we went in NYC. If markets are your thing Id say this is one of the best here.
I really enjoyed myself. Fresh produce and various types of meat available on the streets of NY City. Also, an amazing array of inexpensive potted plants. Inside one has many choices to satisfy the appetite. If one desires you can buy a fur coat, vintage clothing, leather purses or jewelry from the 40s. It was a bit smaller then I expected but I would definitely come again.
Decent place, the only issue is that there are no public restrooms available, you cant even wash your hands, dont expect to use schools facilities, they are not available. Other than that decent selection of vendors.
Lovely!
The event was a good one to go to. Especially with the warm weather. There was plenty of vendors but more people. So the lines were like those at Disney World attractions (slight over exaggeration but close in reference). Some lines took an hour. Others took more. I suggest if you are an early riser that you buy the VIP and get there early to sample everything. As always, Im from the true South, prices were over the top but I will say that the dessert (cupcakes and ice cream) were worth it. So give it a go if you have the time. Highly suggested.
If you like flea markets, this is your place. We went for an Ice Cream event, where they had 15 vendors or so specifically for that day serving specialty ice creams. Otherwise, there are lots of art vendors (shout out to Real Weird Art, who makes some very funny stuff), and plenty of antique/vintage dealers. Overall, it is an interesting visit to find vintage buttons and patches, jewelry, opium pipes (oddly).
Not much of interest
Too pricey for a flea market
Awesome indoor/outdoor flea market. Lots of vendors with a wide variety of items for sale. Plenty of food vendors as well. My only complaint is that theres no public restroom as far as I can tell.
A local market that includes fresh vegetables and other locally prepared foods. Theres also a flea market where you can find the random, weird and gently used.
Fun place to spend a sunny Sunday morning on the upper West side. Enjoy great food, and a ton of cool items here. Took our bbq sandwiches over to Strawberry Fields in Central Park. 💛
BEST OUTDOOR FLEA MARKET IN NYC. so many unique vendors with a wide range of items from vintage to homemade. There is also a silver stand where you pay by the weight, which is phenominal if you are into the thrill of the search. Even the inside has more vendors and there are multiple food stations
My food was good but it was like regular restaurant prices and I was thinking more festival like. The Food Truck event should have had samples and half portion/priced items so you could taste more. Maybe add some music and entertainment and a little more seating
Great finds here. We will definitely be back in the future. My wife found a mink coat for$275!
