First up, here’s how to get to the store itself: The entrance is on Broadway, between 31st and 32nd. Look for the entrance with lanterns flanking the double glass doors, marked 1261. You’ll have to sign in and show ID (the commercial building’s policy) and then take the elevator up to the third floor, Suite 309.Inside are amazing heritage pieces, furniture, trinkets, art, jewelry, lamps, odds and ends. Everything is in good shape, from another era. You’ll love it. Decent prices too. The staff is super friendly, chill, and helpful. Ask about their online selection and also follow them on Instagram @furnishgreen to see the new items that come in every day. They post on their story around 6p every day. Enjoy!
I’ve gotten some lovely pieces here, including artworks, a bar cart, and a mirror. The prices are affordable and staff communicative and kind. Highly recommend! Check their site or Instagram often :)))
Wonderful store! Excellent communication, fast delivery. Always have an incredible rotation of vintage furniture and odds and ends. Highly recommend
Bought a mid-century modern chair from Furnish Green online and picked it up in-store. The description stated walnut but the chair is so light you could lift it with a finger, so its certainly not a hard wood, but I was double parked and loved the look, so took it home anyhow!Ive since reupholstered the seat and added a bit more padding. Love how it turned out! Will definitely return to their store, but hope they work on the accuracy of the description/materials.
Great service, pretty good pricing for NYC, and they always have new stuff coming in. I love that they post all of their new items on their website every weekday. I bought an old Zenith radio and they had it ready for me in-shop in a day and emailed me about it almost immediately. They also had it tightly wrapped in bubble wrap so I could carry it out in the rain. Super considerate, love that kind of extra touch.
Love Furnish Green so much, our apartment is completely filled with it!The vintage pieces are very unique, well priced, and in excellent condition. I have never received anything that wasnt exactly as described or BETTER. If youre able to visit the showroom in person, do - its adorable for inspiration and I believe film sets frequently source things there as well. Always great talking to the employees and we love our stuff
I love this place. Interesting furniture, nice people, fair prices.
Very friendly staff and great vintage finds at reasonable prices! I highly recommend
Furnish Green has found a new lifetime customer in me. I support this business, as they treated me so well and dearly with my first purchase. From the order process to the coordinating for delivery and the delivery itself - I felt so catered to, heard and understood! Thanks to Marielle (my namesake! The odds of that!) and the rest of the team. You are onto something good!
Good items and decent prices.
Awesome place! Things with great value and chic style and the price is so cheap. It’s a bit hard to find cause it is on the third floor of a building but definitely worth going.
Cannot say enough good things. Furnish Green was responsive and helpful. The piece I bought was perfectly cared for, and fairly priced. (Trust me, I scoured the internet.) They also work with an amazing small, Brooklyn-based moving company who is just great. A+
Really awesome team of people to work with! Customer service, from time of purchase to delivery, was awesome. Marielle was also kind enough to help with a minor repair to the mid century headboard I purchased. I was very much impressed with the quality of their product and care for their clients.
Did someone say contact less pick up from the show room elevator? Very convenient. My wife was thrilled. Happy wife happy life
Just a quick note to say how pleased I am with the items I ordered: two credenzas, a rug and a mirror. Theyre fantastic -- accurately described and in fantastic shape. The process of ordering, paying and delivery also was first-rate. And the guys who delivered also did an excellent job. Ive never had as pleasant an experience with moving folks -- usually just the opposite. Everything was very well packed and padded and the guys set everything up in my apartment in an efficient and friendly way. An all-around great experience. Recommended!
Just furnished half of my apartment with Furnish Green! An absolutely delightful place for retro furniture and home goods. Fairly reasonably priced. A little tricky to find from the street as there is no easily visible signage. They also have an Excellent online warehouse, with actual, original vintage pieces that have not been modified to fit any contemporary design aesthetics - ie its the real deal!
I love this store! Tucked upstairs in an office building, it is chock full of unique pieces at reasonable prices. I love having furniture with a backstory, and all the pieces I’ve bought here have held up super well and earn me compliments from guests.
This is one of the most well-curated vintage home showrooms I have visited. And the prices are extremely fair for how special and well-preserved the furniture is. Want to live here!!!
In the local furniture scene dominated by high-end galleries at one end and IKEA at the other, Furnish Green is a humble mom-and-pop operation that offers an easy shopping experience and hassle-free delivery suitable to a regular family trying to find good furniture for our home at a value that does not threaten to break the bank.
Loved it
Ordered a custom made couch here and the service is really great! It was great to be able to support a neighborhood family business. Everyone who works here was really attentive and efficient. Thoroughly recommend this business to anyone who is looking for a sofa!
Great selection of pieces with character! Very helpful and professional staff, who told us about their convenient policies about placing holds, seeing online items in the store, potential repairs (oiling a squeaky drawer), and even when the best days are to schedule delivery. This store has the kind of furniture that lasts a long time, and that you want to keep a long time.
Amazing treasure trove of furniture and accents! Look out for the monthly sales!
I love it so much i work for them..every time i deliver a item customers are so excited..furnish green is starting to become very popular...cant. Wait to deliver to you..see u soon.....
OMG yes! They have many 50’s - 70’s furniture and avant garden pieces at fair prices. I could get lost in there for hours. They also have a store in NJ
I have a vintage desk that I want to get rid of due to space reasons (new price $4.500) and I researched their website. It says, their process is that they pick it up and fix it up and then sell it. Anyway, I called them to inquire and they flat out told me that they dont buy furniture and wanted to hang up already. I explained that I refer to their process tab on their website and that I have a vintage piece I want to give up and they basically said, they wont do it even before I stated the old school brand and year. I can accept that people dont think my furniture is a good fit for them, what I cant accept is the snobby attitude, the urge to get rid of the caller within the first 30 seconds and absolute apathy and zero f***s given when a potential customer calls in.
Lots of unique finds here. Items are thoughtfully displayed. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Dont let its location in a building fool you. Up the elevator and then past through a door, your welcomed to a large selection of vintage furniture. They use their open space wisely and arrange everything so that their products are easy to view from several angles. They also have little nick-nacks (lamps, vases, books, decorations) sprinkled across their entire room that you can also buy. Essentially, everything you see can be bought minus the person attending the front desk of course. And their prices are affordable, considering what their working with.Whether youre looking for vintage or new furniture, definitely give this place a go!(I bought my beautiful, vintage oak drawer desk with cane webbing details from here!)
Great customer service! I called Furnish Green about a work of art I found on their website and Alison answered my questions, packed, & shipped the item quickly. I dont often post reviews, but when someone goes beyond what you expect, well then, I do. Thank you Alison!!
The BEST vintage furniture store in Manhattan (and now they have an additional place in Brooklyn). There prices are extremely reasonable, their presentation and arrangement of the furniture and other items they sell (artwork, records, knick knacks) is very well done. Arranging delivery was painless!!
Really friendly staff and reasonable prices
Back in the day, this place used to have some real bargains. They buy a lot of furniture from the burbs of Jersey, and resell to us New Yorkers. A lot of mid-century modern furniture here, unfortunately a lot of it refurbed in an unfortunate sloppy Brooklyn hipster way. Think paint and cheap upholstery. I did find a very cool gigantic cork lamp here, however. I/2 star for one of the people here being a Phil Lynott fan.
Theyre pieces are very well picked out and are all in great condition. Also not too over priced like most vintage furniture stores in NYC
Garbage furniture, rescued from the best dumpsters NYC has. Save your money and do your own dumpster diving.
Fun semi-hidden antique shop on 3rd floor of an office building with well priced mid-century and vintage goods. Nice staff too!
Nice little vintage furniture shop in NYC. Have to take the elevator up to get in and theres no storefront viewable from the street, so its kind of hidden, but worth finding
I used the website & picked up to save cost of delivery. Great staff
FG has a a beautiful, varied selection, knowledgeable and helpful staff and is a wonderful space in general. I have bought a number of pieces from here and am really pleased with them!
Great nostalgia at fantastic prices!
Great affordable unique things.
Lots of interesting stuff
Well curated and affordable pieces.
Decent selection, fun to explore
