They took way too long to fix my laptop. Hoping it’s actually fixed, but the main reason I’ll never be back is that the whole system of drop off and pick up is ridiculous. I understand they had to come up with a way to continue business during the pandemic, but while everyone else is now getting back to life as usual and the pandemic is over, ADU Computers is still in full-force fear mode. Nope. I’ll go somewhere else next time where I don’t feel like I’m going into a high-security prison. Lol.

I am a level 7 guide with over 4.7 million views of my photos and 5 million views of my reviews. I will say that this place is sorry, the customer service sucks, and the procedures enacted are indirect ways of filtering people out. I went with 4 business partners looking to buy some laptops for our new venture and thought to stop in and support a local business (although we passed Best Buy and super Walmart). The way the guy handled me without knowing my worth or what I had or who I was with let me know these are presumptuous people. Never again. I am so delighted to know there are still foolish people out there. No wonder this is still deemed a “local” business.

Highly recommend. My son had a cracked laptop screen and despite an initial error these guys stepped up and went above and beyond to make things right. Great work, strong ethics, and fair prices. Don’t go to some chain store when you can support good, local, and honest business people.

Aaron and the team are extremely fair, responsive and quick to help their customers. They were doing a repair on my laptop and found that the partI had was very slightly different than what is needed. They were extremely kind in not charging for the extra labor they did (even though they could have as it took them extra time to take it apart and put it back together). I will use them again and highly recommend that others do the same.

Made one of our computers basically defective, because one of the lights behind the glass on the iMac is shining through the glass somehow and refuses to take responsibility for it. Acts like he did us a favor for not charging us for the original ram installation but now well have to pay thousands for a new iMac.

The distances at the store is well put together. Computer looks and runs good had to call to check where some files were.

I called today for a phone consult on my computer and they were extremely patient and walked me through the fix. Best computer people I have worked with.

I brought my computer to them. I knew their was a charge to just look at my computer because I read it on some paperwork in their ofc. I got a call a few days later telling me my comp was ready to pick up. I ask how much and he said $200. I thought it strange i wasnt called with an estimate before they worked on it. I picked the computer up and when i got home. I still had the same problem with the comp. I called the tech and as im talking to him the comp started working but soon it stopped which is the reason i took the comp to be repaired in the first place. Poor service, no estimate. He did not explain what they did for 200$, and the comp still doesnt work. NEVER will i use them again.

Took a Windows 10 laptop in to be converted to a Linux machine. Aaron was very helpful and informative. The laptop was done when promised. And the price was reasonable. Would recommend ADU Computers for your computer woes.

Brought my MacBook with water damage which I was told numerous times that it needed a new logic board. Instead took it to ADU Computers and it was fixed with the same logic board within hours and picked up in the same day. Best computer repair place ever. Needed my computer to work for an upcoming deployment to Iraq and ADU computers made that possible. Also very knowledgeable and the owner was very professional and helpful. Thankful ADU computers!

This is the perfect place to have your computer worked on .This man is honest and trustworthy. I got a great deal on a used computer after my own computer that I purchased a few year ago from someone else died. Hes retrieving my files on the dead one to save to my new one...I cant say enough how happy I am that I went to aducomputers..try them first and youll always bring things there to be fixed or shop in the store for a different computer ..their prices are very good.

REVISED: 10/20/2020 - I was able to get some help again from ADU. Aaron was able to get things squared away quickly with just a phone call. No charge. Super friendly like last time. When I have another issue that requires a repair I will be back. Aaron shared with me the COVID protocols for safety. They have a secure entrance/area to drop-off equipment without having to enter the main area. I again recommended ADU and Aaron for computer repairs.ADU did it! They recovered all the data! We thought the photos would be gone forever. Couldn’t be happier. Thanks!

Very happy with my computer now. Took care of my pop ups and redownloaded win 10 for me. After getting my computet back there was an issue with the graphics and when I called he was more than willing to fix the issue free of charge. My computer is running like new. Highly recommend him!!!

We had taken our Lenovo desk top because it had a problem with Quicken. It needed a validation. It said that the data file was damaged unable to open selected file. I took the Quicken 17 CD in thinking he may need it which he didnt. The terms and conditions state that they are not responsible for any property loss,data loss etc. Truer words were never spoken. I lost my quicken all together, Frontier Security was replaced. Desk top icons HP Office Jet, cc cleaner, word pad, internet explorer, disk cleanup, windows live mail, MS works and documents. When I opened the Windows 10 Icon I no longer had AOL, Maps, Local TV, Face Book and Quicken icons. Guess what? As I was trying to get some of the programs reinstalled the original error message came back. I then was able to reset the computer back to the original settings and I am beginning to reinstall all that was lost. It was told that it was a virus which caused the initial problem or was it? I spent $130.00 for an computer education.

I found there expertise and customer service astounding. I would highly recommend anyone seeking computer repair and assistance to seek out this local shop.

This rating is about what matters, service. I have an HP Pavilion DV6700 laptop. Recently Id had the hard drive replaced and upgraded it from Vista to Windows 10 Pro. It functioned alright except for the internet where it proved slow and was having issues with graphics and would want to act like it was dropping the connection. I thought that more RAM might help. Called Geek Squad and was told that my architecture would not support Windows 10, and that adding more RAM would not help and when I asked if Best Buy carried the RAM I needed if I just wanted to try it I was told they didnt. It sounded like somebody was trying to sell me a new machine that I didnt need. Since the new operating system was actually already working I knew architecture was not the problem.I remembered seeing aducomputers from the street and decided to give them a call. Aaron answered all my questions on the phone and I brought him my machine. It was as simple as as adding more memory. He also checked my drivers to make sure there was not an issue with not having the exact drivers for my laptop. He explained that Windows 10 requires more RAM and that my graphics card was sucking up about half of what was left afterward. I tested it there in the shop. It worked great. I would highly recommend this place before you go shopping for a new system. Its a repair shop not a retail shop. Theres nothing slick about the atmosphere. Its like walking into a garage. There are parts and carcasses from computers everywhere. If you want pretty, go to Best Buy. if you want it fixed by someone who knows what theyre talking about see these guys.
