Didnt purchase my vehicle here. Ive been in two times for service.The first time here it took nearly four hours for an oil change and tire rotation. The car sat waiting at least two hours before it was taken back. I had an appointment made in advance.The last time I had it in for maintenance I also needed a warranty recall handled as well as an issue with all warning lights randomly coming on. In speaking with other VW owners this is a common issue to expect. I spent about $900 to have it repaired (Only to have the issue come back weeks later). The wait again was about 4-5 hours as they service technician broke a part and they had to get another from VW of Wesley Chapel. The air conditioning was not working correctly so it was fairly unpleasant wait.While the car buying experience seems good at this location from reading the other reviews, the service department leaves a lot to desire. I may give them one more chance and will edit my review accordingly. But at this time I would not recommend VW of NPR for your service needs.

I bought a 2021 Atlas Cross Sport from Teresa about 3 months ago. She was Awesome! Very easy to work with, quick and attentive. Couldnt be happier!2 Weeks ago we decided to trade a Jeep in and she was the first person that came to mind! Next day my girlfriend was in new 2022 Tiguan. Once again everything went awesome!She is an amazing asset to the dealership and will diffidently be sending future people to her looking for a vehicle!

Went in seeing a car listed on the site. Was greeted by a salesmen who began asking what my down payment be and credit score was before giving me his own name. After being forced to answer question after question about a car I was still unable to go and see yet I was told I can finally go see the car. I walked to the lot and could not find the car and neither could my salesman. He went in to speak to the manager about what happened to it, after I was reassured they still have it only for the manager to tell me it was gone. The general manager, Pat, lended out a car to his neighbor and so they no longer had it. This manager was unaware of this occurring however, and had to find out from another manager what had happened to it. Pat failed to notify any of the employees the car would be missing from the lot, and they all had knowledge it would still be on site. Service was terrible and there was no apology from anyone for what had occurred. Very disappointed in my experience so far and will not be changing my review until I get a proper experience from here.

My husband and I decided it was time for me to get a new vehicle, I did my research and I knew that I wanted a Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport! We first went to Volkswagen Wesley Chapel as it is a lot closer to our house. We had an awful experience in Wesley Chapel so I contacted New Port Richey and spoke with Nicole. We decided to drive to New Port Richey which is where we previously bought my husbands Volkswagen Passat TDI a year ago. We had a completely different experience in New Port Richey with Nicole! Everyone was so nice and took their time with us and we were so excited to leave with a 2021 Atlas Cross Sport SEL! I love my car and the experience we had here made it that much better!

One of the best experiences Ive had at a car dealership in recent memory. Christian was super helpful and friendly. He was playing more host than anything else. Understanding of our situation, communicative throughout our buying experience, and all round easy guy to work with. The negotiation process with Mark was also good. It was straightforward, low pressure, and felt more like a conversation. Definitely a more lighthearted experience. With all that, I highly recommend VW of NPR when looking for a new vehicle.

I was in the market for a used Passat and had some negative equity in my trade. This place was amazing!!!! Pete Draper did a wonderful job of putting me in touch with Nicole Hinthorne who was able to point me in the right direction and show me all they had to offer. She was super knowledgeable about the all of the cars I looked and was super helpful and really went to bat for me with the numbers I needed for my trade. Then I dealt directly with the sales manager Mike Tom who was nothing short of amazing. I explained to him what I was looking to do and the numbers I was trying to meet which I never thought he would be able to meet. Mike came through in the clutch and I drove home my Passat within 30 minutes with no waiting in the finance department!!! Hands down the best dealership with the best staff I have ever been to!!!! I would recommend this Volkswagen dealer in New Port Richey. I went in the 4th of July weekend for this car and worked with Christian O. He was great and made the experience a good one bc typically I hate car dealership experiences. I would definitely recommend him and hope anyone reading this review requests him if going there. We had the BEST experience at the VW dealer in New Port Richey this past weekend. We had gone in looking to compare the trim packages on the Tiguan, and ended up with a brand new 2022 Taos. I AM INLOVE!! We couldnt have done it without Jarrett. He met us outside as soon as we pulled in, showed us around all the different Tiguans, listened to everything we had to say to make sure he was showing us the best options, and then when I told him I LOVED the Taos on the showroom floor, he pulled another car out of the showroom so that we could test drive the Taos. He has helped me set everything up just the way I like it in the new car, has helped with the car net and getting that all figured out, and even held on to my sunglasses that I had left there. I had been looking to get a new car for the last 2 months. I know inventory is low, but the other dealerships seemingly did not want to sell me a car. I had been searching and researching cars and had several calls & emails, but they seemed like autobot responses. Buyers beware, hidden fees after you apply. Karen Fitch was the sales rep i spoke with, hands down very unprofessional. I left a two star review as she PROMISED to call back with 30 minutes after applying, well she never did. She claimed she emailed me, never did. I called to ask about it and she wanted to talk about my review before my application. I removed the review in order to get my preapproval today. However there are fees like a reconditioning fee of $1491, mandatory lifetime oil fee of $699 that i said I didnt need. But she said the city of tampa (metro) requires it. A quick google search, I found out that she lied about that and the reconditioning fee. I honestly feel like it was because I told her I was coming from out of state cause I really wanted this car/color, she was cold once I told her the state. AVOID KAREN, shes no help.

When I went to buy my car about 2 months ago, I made an appointment (on my birthday because I wanted to give myself a gift). However when I got there the salesman the appointment was with was not only busy but completely ignored me. The wait was atrocious for each step. Teresa helped me, and she was sweet but even she admitted she only did internet sales. She did her best to make me happy though it seemed no one else there wanted to help her with anything, I appreciate her help and would have had a more pleasant experience if more people were like her. After a slow and at times frustrating process, I bought my car. I love VWs and i still like my car, however I dont think they were very upfront about a lot of things. For one they told me Id only need an oil change once every year, and that is not true per the service department at the same dealership. 2 tires have a slow leak (which they never mentioned) and the a/c does not feel like it was recently recharged as they said. Ill update this once I have a chance to take it to my own trusted mechanic and see what was really done to it. Im disappointed in my overall experience, save for Teresa who really went out of her way to try and help me.

They sold me a car off the lot with weed in the center console, they messed up my warranty information, they charged me a plating fee after saying they wouldnt, my plates were supposed to be picked up by my assistant and at one point they picked the plates up AND LOST THEM. I was consistently put down and disregarded. They also ran my credit for loan approval after saying NO, stay away, do yourself a favor.

I had my VW Passat worked on at a local shop for my clock spring and air bag. They messed it up - I decided to take it to the dealership - typically I do not like going to a dealership - they are pushy and always trying to sell. NOT this one!! Kevin was an absolute delight to deal with. I had to stay there while my car was being worked on - he kept me up to date with everything constantly. And honestly for a dealership their prices werent astronomical. I thoroughly enjoyed the process. I didnt feel pressured, and I was not left in the dark regarding my car. My car now runs great and everything was taken care of - I will definitely be back if my Passat needs serviced!

Although, I did see a gentleman sitting in one of the new VWs for sale for quite some time, waiting on his service to complete. If you hate the process of buying a new car, this place is for you. I’ve never been able to purchase a new car in 4 hours. It’s always taken a whole day to process everything. To top it all off, I felt NO pressure to agree to a deal that I was not 100% comfortable with. I told them my target payment and they worked to make it happen. The quickness, the kindness, and the accommodations! I felt as though they were really working to get me the best deal. Do not go anywhere else!

Just a piece of advice and short story. Reached out on a 2021 Atlas due to a price posted on their web site. It reflected a $4500 discount as did several others. When I reached out for information I was told “we cannot honor that price and are selling at msrp”. I informed them that I thought this reflected the “ole bait and switch”, gain your interest via a falsely advertised price to which I was told, due to inventory, we cannot honor the price and we will have them updated. 24 hours later, still not updated. I continued to attempt to work something out but it was clear I had offended them when I mentioned false advertisement is “review worthy” as the communication went way downhill. Needless to say, be extremely cautious with New Port Richey Volkswagen as if you go in based on a posted discount you saw online, they will not honor it. Much better experience with Volkswagen of Wesley Chapel. Thanks and happy car shopping!!

I scheduled an appointment with the dealership in the hopes of purchasing a used Volkswagen Jetta. I came out of the dealership with a brand new Volkswagen Jetta and a big smile. I have purchased two certified Jetta’s at VW NPR!!! They have the best prices available in panellis county in my opinion and I love my new Rline vw jetta 2019. Josh the salesman listened to what I was looking for and brought me my car and I was out of there in no time!!!! I have returned a few times to the service department where Stephen, who is the most kind, patient, and friendly person I have ever met was there every step of the way happily and readily to help me promptly with a loaner vehicle or anything I may need or have had any questions about!! He is a true loyalist to his company that he is dedicated to! I will now be glad to deal with any service appointments that I will have in the near future because Stephen who takes care of me and the rest of the friendly crew at VW NPR, instead of dreading these types of appointments I will now look forward to. I took my 2020 GTI in to the service department at VW of New Port Richey for a faulty window seal that I had been having trouble getting fixed by another dealership for quite some time. My service advisor was Kevin and he provided a great experience. From the first time I brought the car in to get look at to them getting it fixed, Kevin did an amazing job. He communicated well and made sure that my needs were met. The service department caught the problem on the first visit. They ordered the parts needed and Kevin called me when they got the part in to see when I could come in to get it fixed. I dropped my car off the next day with them and they called me within 4 hours to let me know that it was done. I picked the car up and everything was fixed and installed correctly. Great experience dealing with Kevin and the rest of the service team at VW of New Port Richey. Definitely will be back here for my service needs.

There is good reason this place is rated as high as they are. my wife and I went there to look at a used Yukon and from the minute we arrived I was impressed with their level of service. I have purchased many cars over the years and this is maybe the best experience I have had. From the sales person, the manager and even the GM they showed what true professionalism looks like! When we came back to finish the paperwork the Finance Manager was was also top shelf! Teams like this are hard to come by in this industry for sure! If you are in the market, do yourself a favor and check these guys out, I know we will when we are ready for our next car!

What a great experience. I found the car I wanted online in VW of New Port Richey. Drove from Miami just to see and test drive it. Great car and a great customer service. James, my sales consultant was wonderful. He explained everything I wanted to know. Very helpful and friendly with great knowledge. After that 30 minutes with the BOSS/ Pat.
