We were very pleased with our experience at this dealership. However, we worked with the sales manager directly after the test drive and I have to say, we would buy from there again if we could work with him. This dealership was extremely busy; so busy in fact, that we had to wait inside for a salesperson in order to take a test drive. In this world of vehicle shortages, Hyundai of New Port Richey was LOADED with used car inventory. We had no problem finding a variety of cars to choose from. We received good deals on our trades and came to an agreement quickly. Yay! Although we had to wait for the finance person for 45 minutes to an hour, she was very quick and highly entertaining. Overall, we had a great experience and would buy a car from here again.

The 2 star rating is not so much directed at our sales guy, Tony - he was great. He was patient, very knowledgeable and was genuinely concerned about helping us find a vehicle we would be happy in - no pressure. The finance guy Joey - amazing.The reason for the low star review is their deceptive pricing. The internet price is not even close to what you will be paying. As they say, if it sounds too good to be true - it probably is. There are fees upon fees that have been backed out to make the pricing appealing. When we questioned how we ended up with such a higher starting price - they rattled off a bunch of fees which actually turned out to be higher than originally quoted. We were also misquoted on the extended warranty, by the manager and I might add, he was the rudest of anyone we came in contact with and was very condescending. In the end we got a beautiful vehicle, satisfied with the deal overall but their sales tactics is where they fall short.

Absolute bozos work here. Was trying to write up a deal for a 2020 Acura RDX . Was told vehicle was perfect without any scratches. Drove an hour to see the vehicle and has dmg all over the front lower bumper area. Scratches all over the place . The internet sales rep Robert stated he walked the vehicle and saw no damage. Here are a few pics showing scratches in just a 12 inch area. It’s scary if this person walked the vehicle and didn’t see one scratch. It’s sad you can’t trust a dealers anymore. The tactics they use are crazy.

This place was great. Scott assisted me through email with selecting the car I wanted and answering any questions I had. Robert submitted all of my documentation and got me preapproved. In the morning, I went to the dealership and James helped me take my car out for a test drive. I was happy with the car and the interior so Rob started my financing application. He negotiated a better interest rate for me and got me the best deals even with struggling credit. Love my new car.

Yesterday I was in to look at a Santa Fe. I had Tony and my sales consultant. He was the best sales consultant I have ever had. Tony was a pleasure to work with. He listened to what I wanted, was patient with me and took his time. Tony was also very honest with me and you don’t find that too offen. He really worked with me and 5 hours later I went home with a Santa Fe that I am truly in love with. So please when you go in to Hyundai used new port Richey ask for Tony. You won’t be sorry. The sale experience wasnt great. The car I wanted to look at hadnt even been ready to test drive or drive off the lot even though they had it listed online. I waited a hot century for everything to be finalized even after people who came in after me finished their sales and left. I had to call them to figure out what happened to my registration like 3 days before the dealership tag expired. They claimed they would overnight ship it to me only for me to not get it Saturday. The lady I called on Sunday told me she had no way of knowing if my tag went out and that they dont do Saturday delivery. Which helped me none because the tag is already expired. I was told if I had called sooner it could have went out sooner, but why do I have to call you to remind you to do something that should have been done before my dealership tag even expired. I have had much better service through the Honda dealership than this place. Will be avoiding buying cars used or new through here again. Once Im done with this car I am not buying another from them. The car is great, the service just sucked.

It was a pleasant experience. Chris was very helpful and active in showing us the vehicles. He was frank and really good in communications. A small tip is to call them to make sure that the prices are within your budget. If you are coming with your own financing options they will charge you an extra $1000. Thats a bummer. But other than that quite a good experience overall.

Online prices are way lower than what they’re actually going to sell it for and their dealership fee is higher than a lot of other places but they don’t tack on anything else and their sale prices are still competitively better than a lot of other dealerships. James the sales guy I had was really nice, easy to work with, didn’t try any of the typical tactics and was honest. I am happy with the car I got.

Decided to trade in two cars for a minivan. We saw one online and went to Hyundai for it. The sales person told us that they had just gotten the car so they hadnt done any work on it yet. The car was white 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. It had scuff marks on it and the passenger side view mirror was pretty messed up. The other thing we noticed was there was some yellow light on in the dash. The car was really not clean on the inside either. And there was body work that needed to be done. Also the door randomly opened when you closed it. All of this was of course forgivable since they just got the car and hadnt had time to do anything with the car.Since we traded in both our cars for this van we didnt have a car so we needed a rental. We have two kids under two so we needed a mini van just like the car we were buying. We got the minivan from Enterprise with no issue (this is important later) and they had the car for about 5 days.5 days later we call them and they tell us the car is ready. We go to pick up the car and well nothing was done. Well almost nothing. The car was very nicely vacuumed. The side view mirror was untouched (still busted), none of the scuff marks were gone (forgivable since it was a used car), but the inside was actually pretty bad. The cup holders were disgusting, the middle dash hadnt been cleaned, there was some sort of liquid on the passenger seat and I found DOG FOOD (I assume) in the back seat! The warning light was still on on the dash and the door still randomly opened.When we first looked into buying the car the salesman told us all of these things would be taken care of. We were not sure if we wanted all the extra work to clean up the car at first. The car had just gotten on the lot so we were deciding between just doing the body work/detailing ourselves or paying 2k to get all this done for us. We decided to pay the 2k and have the professionals do it. Thats the part about all this that is the most upsetting.So after all of that they take the car back and I have to get another rental. So I drop off the car with them and enterprise comes to pick me up from the dealership. Enterprise put my information in the system and told me I was getting a car for rental not a minivan. I told her we got one last time and this time we are only there because Hyundai screwed up. Apparently its more expensive to rent a van. I think the difference was $35/day to $65/day. Anyway the nice enterprise lady calls Hyundai and they flat out tell her they are not willing to pay the extra money and I have to pay. Keep in mind I got literally the exact same car from enterprise last time. They had a van available and could rent it out to me but Hyundai refused to pay. So I had to call them and yell at the guy because this is ridiculous. The guy told me Well the GM isnt in and my supervisor isnt in and they are the only ones that can do an override and pay the extra so we cant help you. He also said corporate wont allow them to ever do something like this. He was firm and didnt budge on this point. So I told him to talk to the person in front of me at Enterprise. Then the phone got passed to the person I believe was the manager at enterprise. They had a back and forth for a little bit then eventually the the Hyundai guy gave in and they ended up paying the extra. So much for the lie about not being able to do it.So now fast forward a few days and we go to pick up the car. Everything is clean and the mirror is fixed finally. The only problem is the door keeps randomly opening when we close it. So I tell them and they tell me to take it to the Crysler dealer down the street and give them my paperwork. So I did. Crysler tells me that for this problem they would bring the car to them but they didnt. There was a software update that needed to happen. It cost me $155 to get the software update out of my own pocket. The software was never updated. On top of that there was a 2019 recall on the car that was never taken care of. So they never fixed the door and never took care of the recall...0/10 would not recommend

Not only I found a great car with a great price but I found the only dealership I’ll ever use in the future and recommend to friends & family! No wonder they are so busy, their prices cannot be beaten and the cars are all you’ll ever need. Dont expect them to ever honor their sales flyer prices. I heard them tell prospective clients thats just internet prices. The real cost will be about $4000.00 more. I wasnt told during lease of new car that there would be dealer fee of $999 (highest fee they are allowed to charge in FL). They added other fees ($50 that were also undisclosed and unexplained). All double talk and zero courtesy if you question them. Asked my mom if she was German (because she wouldnt back down). We said yes and he said I thought so - chuckled and said he wouldnt say anymore. I bought 3 cars from them in past - each visit they were ruder than time before. I will never be back

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I totaled my car in July. I submitted a form to have my service contracts canceled shortly there after to get a refund on my loan. Come September I’m still making payments because these people can’t do their job. I’ve now had the forms resubmitted and I’m waiting the outcome. Still making payments on a car that I don’t have anymore. I’m going in the hole finically. I call and my info is taken down but no one returns my calls or no one answers the phone. I swear this place is a joke. I will never buy from this place ever again.

I went to service to check a engine light they came back with pictures of my fuel filter showing that it had algae growing in my fuel system. I told them that is ridiculous because Ive been getting my diesel fuel at the same place for over a year and their tanks are not contaminated. They said well the picture doesnt lie. I had my doubts so I told them to close it up and forget it Im not paying $6,000 to replace my fuel system. I recently bought a fuel filter and installed it myself very easy, and there was no algae in the container so these guys are a rip-off in my opinion sorry about this but service is trying to get a $6,000 repair bill in somebody that they think they can pull the wool over my eyes. Stay away from their service department as my advice

Edit: Paid for a full detail service to make sure our car is fresh but found dog hair in the back, a cracker from one of my kids, windows were never washed anywhere, they did not even shampoo the sides of the seats where there is arm dirt. We asked to have the car looking like they were about to sell it not caring how much it would cost. Very disappointed.(OLD REVIEW) Even though our car is a lemon, we always have amazing service. Chase and Garrett always take care of us when we come in. (THEY BOTH NO LONGER WORK HERE)

We had no idea what car to look for, once we gave him our budget he worked his magic! and did everything to get us the car that we wanted at the price we wanted to pay. I bought a car here two months ago, my sales associate was Javan Aldridge for a 2017 Honda Accord and still have not received my tag or title. I’ve been lied to about this and when on the off chance you can even get through, another day passes that you’re stuck driving a car without a tag that you paid over price for. After being in this stressful situation, I can tell you to do your research on the dealership before purchasing. This location at least, is one of the most unprofessional dealerships in the area, avoid at all cost.

Dropped my car off Friday afternoon for an oil change and multipoint inspection, they said they would call me when it was ready. So Saturday at 10:30 I call and they said they were just finishing up the paperwork...so I pick my car up and yrs my car was actually finished Friday...no call ...and the service guy lied about just finishing up the paperwork....disappointed

Chris LaCroix was awesome. He spent quite a while searching for exactly what I wanted. He was upfront about the dealer fees before we even started looking. And he did a great job making sure the vehicle was ready and explaining the vehicle features when I picked up the vehicle. I dont recall the finance managers name but I was able to get a certified vehicle in my budget and I didnt feel any pressure to add on warranties.
