As always it is a very good experience when shopping at Menards. Everything is always clean an easy to find. The employees are always kind an ready to help. Even when they walk past you doing their jobs they say hi an ask if you need help finding something? Great place to shop.

What a great store have a little bit of everything for everybody

Very disappointing, nobody knew their area or job. Lots of people standing around not doing anything, of course they probably couldnt help if they tried. The best employee I spoke to was the gate attendant the let me out of the lumber yard. I strongly recommend lowes after this experience

Everything went well during my purchase of a new washer. I had to wait a little while during the purchase process, however I fully understand that everyone is working short at the current time. The young lady that helped me load the washer was fantastic. Great shopping experience overall.

They really need better help in the yard. Sometimes you can get help and other times its a ghost town. A couple times they expected me to know where to find the material and I had no help in loading

This is a great store! If you love Home Depot and Lowes youll love Menards. Great garden center and even some food items.

Its a nice store, hard to find anything, but nice. I do not like the mail in rebate scam they run. If they cared about their customers, it would be an instant discount not a store credit. I wonder how much in rebates never gets claimed?And if you order anything not in stock they charge you shipping. Dont tell you, just charge you.

Good selection. Friendly employees. Competitive prices. Clean store in & out. Ample parking. My only issue with Menards is when asking for help in finding an item, the clerk doesnt always know, which is understandable; new store, big store. BUT, they should OWN the problem. Do not turn you loose until they have successfully filled your need by either TAKING you TO the item OR finding a person who will then OWN the issue themselves. This problem is not unique to Menards.

Never been to a store as many times as I have and have yet to have one of the employees ask me if I need help for anything. Most of them just walk around and wont even look at you even though youre looking for something. I think 95% of employees they hire dont have a clue about their area theyre working in or the products I have walked up and down aisles looking for a product and employees just dont even pay attention to you. just unbelievable, customer service is terrible.

They were loading up sheet metal on to my trailer and tore up one of my 2x8 boards, about 1/2 deep, for about 6 feet. They would not give me a replacement board and said there was nothing they can do. Just for that, I will never shop at menards again.

Its a great store everything you should need for your next DIY project.If you have a large order, I suggest making a good list and getting help finding the stuff you need. Navigation is a bit challenging if you have a large list.

Let’s us walk in and around the store for over and hour without a mask. Go to checkout and won’t let me. Get the other person with me so they can check out and the staff would not let him checkout because we were “together” so I walk out and they still won’t let him checkout. Finally walked back in after both of us leave to get stuff I wasted 1hr shopping for and overcharged us. Not even worth the hassle, screw the 11% back.

Asked an employee Do you carry wild bird seed?Her Response Was in the bird seed isle.If I knew where the bird seed isle is do you think I would of asked.Theres Humor in that.Went looking for plants/flowers didnt have any set out yet BUT hey bought some bird seed. LOL.

This store is clean and well-,organized. Staff are friendly and more knowledge than most I run across. They are helpful and efficient. This is a very large home improvement store with nice surprises, like a camping section (seasonal) and a great pet and wild bird section. They carry some brands that are better quality than one finds at the superstores. You pay more, but I feel you get a much better value with durable products. They also offer many products that are made in the United States along with the cheaper imports I find elsewhere.

People were nice, but they take way too long to unload a trailer.

Good place for anything to remodel your house or other projects for inside or outside including Plants, flowers, paint, flooring, kitchen, bathroom, drywall, lumber, roofing, plumbing, electrical, lighting appliances and a lot of other stuff with good prices and rebates

We used to spend tons of money here- my husband for his business and I always loved their good prices.We won’t shop here anymore- it’s a free country yet they will hunt you down should you be caught in their store without a mask - still in Sept of 2020... long after all the falsified numbers of deaths, cases and crazy senseless mandates of COVID.Most places now let you make the choice you know - as a free American- but not this one. Exactly the reason i will NEVER shop here again.

Hi I called in to ask about an item and the lady who answered the phone gave me a rude attitude and then hung up on me right telling me no, guess I wont go here.

I refuse to any longer support menards.. I was chased down by the guy at the entrance because I didnt have a mask on, I then informed him I have a health condition and he continued to refuse me of service. My wife was along with me and had he mask on and he also refused to serve her unless I put a mask on. I called the manager after leaving the store and when I started to talk to him about the incident he hung up on me. I hope that this review will change people mind on continuing to shop at mine because it sure has changed mine.

THIS PLACE IS JUST PURELY OUT TO RIP YOU OFF!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!! TWICE ON CONSECUTIVE VISITS MY ITEMS WERE CLEARLY MARKED ONE PRICE AND TWICE EACH ITEM WAS OVERCHARGED BY AT LEAST $8.00!!! NEVER WILL I SHSHOP THERE AGAINOR ANY OTHER AGAIN

They usually have what I need. Ive found that several of the staff lack product knowledge or even knowledge of their own store. Not all though, some are very helpful. I must say the store is very clean though. Ive been shopping here since they opened.

I simply walk in to buy one item and I have a young punk immediately jumping down my throat about a mask. He wasnt even polite immediately treats me like a criminal and calls the police on me. Which the pd didnt care at all wasnt like I was being a problem. I call the store manager the following morning he was just as cocky and refused to cooperative with my phone call and hung up on me. I will never spend a dime here ever again.

The manager at the building center desk deserves a special shout out for great service! We had difficulty with getting the correct retaining wall block and he went above and beyond to help us. He even came out in the yard and ran the tow motor to load our new block for us. During these difficult times and staffing shortages, his dedication to excellent customer service speaks volumes! Thank you for stepping up to the plate and proving that people can show up to work and do their job successfully!

This place is a joke!!i had stopped only planning on buying a few things to help my aunt, bcuz i’m currently out of town staying w/ family and she needed things fixed. well i put a few things back before checking out and paying for everything ...upon paying a getting my receipt i was confronted as if i stole the 3$ pocket knife and another cheap item that i had put back, and was asked to either empty my pockets or literally show them where i put the items??!! smh totally unnecessary which was known after i gladly showed them!! should’ve returned the 40$ worth of items i paid for but since they held me up another 20 minutes i was well past staying any longer!!thx for treating me like a criminal after i spent my money there !

Every single time I go into this store I get horrible customer service!!! This last time topped it off, we bought an unfinished kitchen island and a butcher block top for it and the woman tells us we will need the kit to attach the butcher block top and that they have it there in the store but we forget to purchase it at the time. So I just went back to get it and they tell me they don’t sell it!!! Needless to say I’m furious! Won’t be going there again!!!

Stopped in for 3 items. Got about 20. Always way more than you came for. Good prices. Everything was in stock. Associates went out of their way to find an item I wanted. Spent $200 more than I planned on.

Everyone is always helpful! Order pick up is a tad slow but otherwise we always have a good experience!

The only reason I gave it 1 star is because they wouldnt let me do none. They are rude and not very helpful or knowledgeable about the products or departments they head. And did I mention rude? Because they were so rude we actually left and went to Lowes.

Menards has most everything you need. They carry some grocery items that home depot and Lowes dont.

I will never shop at this store again. By far the worst store i have ever stepped foot in. I was here with my fanily and have a doctors order tbat i cant wear a mask because Im diagnosed with copd/emphazyma and cant breath with something covering my face and the store manager decided to stand in the door and block me from getting my kids so i can keave and threw his shoulder into my chest and then proceeded to call the cops on me. All in front of my 6 and 4 year old kids. And you cant get ahold of ANYONE in corporate. They have a lawsuit against them for this exact scenario and im sure there will be plenty more!

Friendly helpful staff good prices

I have my ccs and they told me I had to wear a mask and that is against the law to tell someone that they must wear a mask when wearing a mask is not a law it is a suggestion for a person to wear one. The associate who told me that was extremely rude and unprofessional. If it were possible I would rate them a zero. Lowes has a better selection and dont require you to wear a mask.

We are saddened to have to give such a review. Customer service was absolutely horrible. My husband left a bag at this store and when he went back the next day, the lady told him they return left items to the shelves?! They didn’t even hold it for 24 hours. The lady my husband dealt with the first time was very kind and willing to help, but we still found there were items on our receipt we didn’t have when we went back to the job site. So when my husband went back a second time to try and retrieve these items, a different female manager was there and was very rude and smirking to her associate insinuating my husband was trying to be deceptive in just getting the items he paid for. We spent over $7,000 there within 3 days because of a remodel and explained to them we in no way would try to swindle them out of $50 dollars, which was about the cost for the items that were left behind. My husband then called the general manager who was seemingly cold and distant and didn’t even offer an apology until my husband asked him directly questioning if he even cared how he was treated. He gave no offer of assistance or help. He basically told my husband he was out of luck. We have spent a lot of money in this store but we will NOT be returning here with our business. My husband works in the roofing/ construction industry and his business prides themselves in customer service and satisfaction. Menards of New Philadelphia, Ohio is sorely lacking in this area. We just want the items that we PAID for and left. My husband wasn’t careless in leaving the items. He had thousands of dollars worth of items he was trying to juggle as the store was closing. They looked at the cameras for a mere 5 minutes but because they couldn’t make it out they gave us no relief. Menards, I suggest you work on your customer service. Because you never know what kind of contractors and sub contractors you are dealing with. We will make sure to share our experience with other contractors so they know what kind of customer service they will be facing should they ever forget an item or have to deal with your management.

Happy to take my business somewhere else that doesn’t require me to wear a mask because they are “private property” I know Lowe’s will be happy to take my $2,300 and still give me a military discount and NOT require me to wear a mask.

The store is very large with very good selections. The staff is always friendly an helpful. It was too hot, I was sweating. I have a suggestion. It would be nice if in a corner you could have some seating an some drinks. Us old folks could use a rest to be able to shop some more. Or benches.

The parking spaces are a bit tight if you have a full sized truck. Great selection, so far theyve had everything Ive gone to there for. Plan your trip for an 11% rebate weekend.

Its a nice place to go into as got a lot of variety of stuff to look at it being new there still a little kinks are trying to work out thats why I havent given it a five stars because there are still some kinks and some things I got to work out there but all in all its still a nice clean store and the people so far have been pretty nice I was in there today walking around taking these pictures and everybody has given a four I said because I need some tweaks some of the tweaks Im talkin about I was I was outside taking pictures and there was a guy loading 6 by 6 by 10 foot pressure treated post by himself I asked him if he didnt have any help and you guys on no and I turn around I see bunch of guys off in the distance, forklift with them by I go walking towards the front Ill send one the I guess youd call him a yard foreman came walking up to me concerned about me taking pictures when they actually should have been more concerned about the guy loading the 6 by 6 pressure treated lumber by himself I explain why I was taking the pictures and had no problem then but I think they should have been more concerned about somebody loading lumber by themselves than somebody taking pictures

This was my first visit to this location and we were impressed with the overall cleanliness and selection of the store. The aisles are wide and it is very well stocked. There may have been a lot of people shopping but the store is large and can handle as many shoppers as the area send to them. The cashier was polite and the clerks were able to point us to the correct location every time we asked where a product was located.

It was bad . My order had missing hardware . I paid 127.00 dollars as a deposit on skids to protect my order . It was still damaged. Couldnt get a manager to take the time to make it wright. Couldnt get my deposit back, they said it was already payed and might show up in my account in 5 to 7 days. Ive been shopping here since you opened . After today I am going to shop at Lowes.

They were out of electrical boxes and shelves were very empty. Our little local hardware had everything. Pulled down mask for a minute and the mask police yelled at me. Looks to be poorly run store

Came to check out the new store and left with 3 carts worth of projects. Huge shout out to Josh in building materials for all his help! He had awesome tips and helped us find all the supplies we needed. I was also really impressed with how big their herbs were. Only complaint was that they had a ton of plants only labeled as tropical foliage with no name or care information.
