We stayed at the Best Western Plus on Rampart Street and the Quarter Grocery was a few blocks away. It was a great source for water, beer, wine and food. They have their little kitchen at the back of the grocery store that sends out delicious food.We loved the muffuletta!!! So amazing!!! We ordered the half that was huge. We had hoped to try a po-boy as everyone said theirs were amazing...next time!If you are staying near Armstrong Park make sure to check out the Quarter Grocery.

This is the BEST place in New Orleans! Although this is a great convenient grocery store, the food in the back deli is truly a hidden gem. Hands down, the best shrimp po boy, gumbo, red beans and rice. This food is sooo good. When I come to New Orleans, this is the first place that I want to go. I want to come here before I go to any fancy restaurant just to try their delicious food. STOP BY…. you won’t regret it!!!!

It’s very hard these days to get a reasonably priced po-boy in the French Quarter, but Quarter Grocery’s got ‘em! The hot sausage and fried shrimp are good options, and the crawfish pies are pretty good too. From a grocery perspective, lots of beers, wine, and liquor to choose from, as well as things like eggs, milk, etc. Check it out!

Awesome place!! Just moved here. You can get anything from liquor to laundry detergent to great snacks for the kids all amazingly priced and not extorted for the location. Ms.kims deli in the back is delicious and $8.00 for a PO boy you won’t find that anywhere else in the quarter or even on Elysian Fields or mid city, Plus they are absolutely delicious and can be split. Also you can call ahead so you’re not waiting around! Try them you won’t be disappointed.

This little grocery store in NoLa was super convenient. I discovered this corner grocery on my third visit to NOLA, and as I will be returning shortly for my 4th visit, I intend to stop there. I can purchase various wines to take to my hotel across the street, purchase frozen entrees, or get fresh sandwiches from the deli in the back. The driver for Airport Shuttle told me about this grocery, and the debris roast beef sandwich was absolutely delicious--and cheap! The store also carries snacks, so if you dont want to eat every meal in a pricey restaurant, this store offers a cheap option. They accept credit cards as well.

I came here specifically for the Muffuletta sandwich everyone had told me about. To be honest, I was a bit underwhelmed. The sandwich was really good but the way it was described made it sound like it was going to be an out of this world experience. Its something that I could have made at home if I can find the right bread at my local bakery. I will probably be making one myself soon and I bet I can make it as good or better. The store itself has tons of deli meats which I would have loved but I was so focused on getting the Muffuletta that I didnt try anything else.
