I found this little gem literally right outside of my hotel the last morning of my trip and I SO REGRET NOT FINDING IT SOONER. It had the prefect walk up grab, warm, and go croissants paired with the prefect cup of espresso over 1/2 & 1/2. The iced in the iced drinks it the prefect little crunchy nuggets! π€€
I had their New Orleans Iced Coffee with almond milk. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cashier helped me to pick out the coffee. I was pleasantly surprised that they had non-dairy milk options, which were almond milk and oat milk. The atmosphere was interesting and well decorated. Iβm not sure that itβs easily accessible by car though cuz they donβt have a parking lot.
Best coffee place we found while on vacation. The muffins were amazing as well.
Best coffee shop in town.. Clean, tasty, fresh and cozy.
Excellent coffee but there are no outlets... avoid for a full day of work or studying unless you can last off a full charge. Other than that, loved my coffee, the shop itself was very well kept, and the workers were also very nice.
French Truck coffee is well located in the French Quarter. The coffee shop offers a variety of coffee including cappuccino and lattes. You can also order iced coffee with this Oli machine which is on display. My coffee was smooth although somewhat bitter. This shop has seating and some pastries as well.
Came to New Orleans for a police convention and wanted a local coffee shop. Loved French Truck the coffee and the breakfast sandwich was AMAZING! wish we had a spot like this in Florida. #sunshinereviews
Love this place. come here before work every day. atmosphere is great. baristas are wonderful. some of the best coffee iβve ever had. a little pricey but absolutely worth it because it is so wonderful. highly recommend
A lovely coffee shop with even lovelier customer service. Friends and I were visiting NOLA prior to COVID and found French Truck Coffee after walking around for a bit. Iβll admit that Iβm not a huge coffee person, however I found their coffee to be absolutely delicious. It had a great flavor and was super smooth. I was so excited by it that I wanted to buy a bag for a friend and mail it to them once I got home for their birthday. I bought a small bag and packed it up in my suitcase for my flight home a day later. However, TSA said that they wouldnβt let me take it on the plane...um okay? I emailed French Truck about it to let them know and to inform other customers that it might happen to them. They quickly responded back saying that they had never of this problem before and thought it was super odd. Without me even prompting them, they gave me a discount code to order some new coffee online! I was so pleased with how they handled it. Some of the nicest coffee and people here! A must stop at any of their locations!
Reviews on Google looked good, so I checked it out. I cant recommend for two reasons. The coffee is so-so. Not like the espresso I had in France. Next the 5.50 for a short cap is too high. Balanced with the marginal taste, its a bad value. The quest to find a GREAT coffee house in New Orleans continues.
Lovely spot, nice people and well made coffee. While not a traditional spot as one would envision in the French Quarter, its got its own more modern charm and is Not Starbucks... Worth a visit for a cup of something good
The employees are discourteous and the coffee is not good. I tried a Japanese method cold-brew and found the coffee to be utterly sour. They said thats because the method removes the bitterness, leaving the sourness. Um, no. Thats not what cold-brew should be.
A pour over with a cup of ice is my standard go-to, added a chocolate croissant (which was awesome). The Peru roast was recommend by one of the three, friendly baristas; as a long time fan of darker roasts I have found myself at the crossroads of breaking the habit. Much like steaks, true flavor profiles take the stage at light-medium coffee roasts, not to mention higher caffeine levels. I will definitely be coming back tomorrow to try another roast, however a cornerstone of a true coffee roaster is the attention to detail which is something these guys have.
Great coffee, amazing service. And Oji coffee worth the try!
The BEST coffee in NOLA!!!I canβt wait to come back to this incredible establishment! I especially love the cold brew chicory β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
I love the staff here, and the lattes are really good. We had our lattes to go and spent the morning wandering around the French Quarter. Great experience!
This is a great spot to stop in for either a quick hit of caffeine on the run or to sit and enjoy the street views and people watching. Smaller place but just comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The staff is great, approachable and helpful in providing info on the various drink options. On top of all that, they make really good coffee. I am in New Orleans for a week vacation and after the our first stop here on our first day we have made the walk everyday to come get coffee from here. I highly recommend the French Truck if you are in New Orleans.
Everything here is delicious! We ordered mochas, Japanese oija coffee, which is fabulous, new Orleans iced coffee also delicious, and various cookies and scones. The jalapeno and croissant sandwich is fabulous! The staff treated my 8 year olds just as well as my 20 year old when we ordered. great place!
Great vibe. Order a cafe au lait which was really good. Baristas were really friendly too.
Very cool, little place. I purchased the Oji (Japanese-style) Iced coffee and it was perfect. Smooth flavor and perfect for a warm day walking around the French Quarter.Edit: After a bit of research, found out that French Truck Coffee is a local chain. That doesnβt diminish how good it was. Plus, some other local places, like the Ruby Slipper Cafe, use their coffee. Itβs great to see local businesses supporting one another.
Always my go-to in NOLA. Try the New Orleans style cold brew.
Rude and crude. Avoid like the plague. This place knows nothing about Southern Hospitality. There is no need to yell at people. Just say sorry I cant serve you without a mask.
The coffee tasted a little slimy but it was still decent some how.
Stopped in mid-afternoon on a weekday, so it wasnβt crowded at all. The location is clean, the baristas friendly and knowledgeable, and the coffee delicious. If youβre looking for a different iced coffee option in the summer heat, the Oji (Japanese style slow-drip) has complex flavor with floral notes. The New Orleans Iced coffee has bold nutty chicory flavor, as youβd expect.
A wonderful little coffee shop. Had a work weekend trip in Nola and this became my go to place. One of the only places I could find with oat milk! The ladies working there were sooo friendly and made the place super inviting. Will definitely be back here next time Im in Nola
Decaf iced NOLA with oat milk was fantastic!
Best coffee Ive found in the French Quarter
Amazing coffee and the croissant was delicious!
I ordered an iced mocha, and was really happy to see they also offered oat milk. Very kind people!
Hard to find that does a true macchiato or a properly proportioned cappuccino. Skip the tourist traps and get yourself a proper cuppa while youre in the big easy.
The new orleans iced coffee and blueberry muffin were delicious. Clean store, friendly employees
The food is just ok. The coffee could be better. Just a quick spot
Really nice coffee place with very helpful and pleasant staff. We tried their cappuccino and it was really good and very strong. The location is perfect for people strolling around French Quarters and looking for decent coffee options with some sandwiches and other stuff to eat. Would definitely visit again and recommend it to others!
Sweet vibe. The bright colors. Great place to hang and study a bit while itβs cold out.
Great espresso. Reminds me of Ikonic of Santa Fe.
I thought they were a cute little place to stop in, but I thought it was ridiculous for them to be completely out of everything so early in the day. The coffe was good and the service was fine though.
Quick service and tasty food. Good coffee
The doors were wide open, we were practically standing outside, and the people sitting inside, at the tables, were not wearing masks. However, the employee, that I can only describe as a whiny, troubled little girl (even though he was a boy), started yelling at us to leave, because we did not put on masks, while we ordered, even though just 2 steps away from him, people were sitting without masks.Beware of the crazy people out there, dumb policies are starting to prevail.
We decided to visit this little gem to get our caffeine fix. We ordered the cafe au lait, quiche, and muffin. Theyre delicious and on point. So If youre around the area you definitely want to pay this cafe a visit. Its a great place for an afternoon coffee or tea!! And do order their amazing pastries!
Found this little gem and fell in love. Highly recommend the iced New Orleans coffee with a little sugar--its the best iced coffee drink Ive had in a very long time. I also grabbed the Ethiopian pur over and a ham and cheese croissant. The staff were super nice too and able to have real conversation--they seemed genuinely happy to be there. Im adding this cafe to my list of go tos for every nola visit.
On the pricey side but good
Nice atmosphere and helpful staff. I had some time to kill so I didnt get it to go. Seating in the cafe you have a great view of the world move by. I like just plan black coffee, espresso and pour over. I purchased the large medium roast for just over $3 with tax. Very good coffee not over roasted and clean mouth feel. Next time I will try the pour over.
Just really really good coffee.
Best coffee in Nola, bought a t-shirt. Also got some king cake and it was delicious.
Awesome coffee and even better service. A truly MUST GO for us coffee lovers!!!
Amazing Iced Coffee. Great service.
French Truck coffee was just a short walk from my hotel, the Sheraton. I ordered a small latte and got a regular coffee to go. The service was prompt and courteous enough considering how busy they were. I took a star off because I asked for cream togo and they told me the cream was at the end of the counter, so I had to guess how much cream instead of letting the person decide when I got back to the hotel.
Hands down best coffee in the French Quarter. I would drive back across the country for just one more vanilla latte!!
Super smug and rude staff . Otherwise coffee is good.
They made fun of my nose :( and then made fun of my friends eating disorder im so sad i canβt believe they did that
This place is amazing! The coffee was Fantastic the store was clean and the best part is that my doggie got to join me!
Great coffee and staff.
I always stop.for a cup anytime Im in South Louisiana. See.of the best coffees from around the world. Staff is great and knowledgeable too. Have to order it online from where I live to enjoy it the rest of the time.
Great coffee and a very friendly staff.
Tip: if you like sweeter coffee ask for extra sugar
Didnt really like the coffee
Coffee was not good (had a weird twang to it) and the βjalapeΓ±o sausage croissantβ was a croissant with a hotdog in it. To top it off the hotdog was cold. It was kinda gross. Definitely do not recommend.
One of the best coffee shops in the city. I go there almost everyday during my break for work. Theyβre quick and they always make the drinks with a lot of care. Excellent service from Jacob!
Best coffee in New Orleans! This is the only coffee I buy now. They have so many different great roasts, and have really great seasonal roasts too.
Barista is probably one for the rudest people Iβve ever dealt with in the service industry.
Best iced coffee around!
