This is our last day in New Orleans. We just had our lunch in Boil seafood and decided to have a drink nearby before we head to the airport. The neighborhood is very nice, a lot of trees, neat and clean. I guess this is one of the best neighborhood in this city. And the coffee latte tastes really good, much better than the coffee from the famous Cafe Du Monde. I really enjoy this last moment in New Orleans.

We’re lucky enough to have a ton of coffee options in New Orleans. Luckily regardless of which one you choose, you’ll likely have a solid experience. But your experience will be exceptional only when you choose CR. The coffee, particular the cold brew, strikes a rarely perfect balance between strong and tasty. It’s good for people who crave bold flavors and for those who prefer a more mild, sippable coffee. The atmosphere is wonderful, featuring a perfect private patio and a great indoor place perfect for reading, remote work and socializing. But I saved the best for last - the Magnificent people who power CR Coffee Magazine are my favorite part. They’re kind, knowledgeable and genuinely pleasant. I love this coffee shop and I call on you to give them a try.

Clean space with a wide selection of drinks. Food selection was somewhat limited. Great indoor and outdoor seating. Barista mentioned they make their own syrups in shop.

My experience with Coast Roast Coffee & Tea was wonderful from the referral to my walking out of the door with a nice cup of cold brew.I was requesting a bag of coffee via friends and acquaintances for my birthday as an aspiring business owner in the coffee industry. Someone asked Kevin, the owner, he said yes and invited me over.I was kindly provided samples, stories, taste profiles of several coffee beans, and a complimentary bag. When I tasted the house-roasted French Roast, it was a match made in heaven. This coffee is roasted perfectly and brewed to perfection! It is such a smooth blend.The wisdom and passion regarding coffee that Kevin displayed and shared is likely why the coffee tastes so good.I walked out with a complimentary sample of cold brew on this hot New Orleans day, which tasted wonderful as it wasnt too bitter.The service was warm, welcoming and engaging. The shop was perfectly setup and the outdoor seating area is great for a morning coffee and reading.I will absolutely return, and do recommend CR Coffee Shop.Special thanks to Mark of Beyond Bourbon Street for the referral.

The vibe inside and on the patio is clean and charming. There are often people working on their laptops inside or hanging out outside. Coffee is good, but very expensive. They also charge $1 extra for soy milk, which is ridiculous, especially now that you can get soy milk for cheaper than cows milk at the grocery store. I really wish they would change this and stop punishing people who are lactose intolerant and/or trying to make more environmental choices.

Great coffee and a nice atmosphere! They also happen to have a meeting room one can rent, which helped me out a lot when the power at home was out and I needed a quiet place to work from for a few hours.

This is by far my most favorite coffee & tea in New Orleans. You can even buy their Lagniappe iced tea to brew at home.

2021.10.23: five stars, as Season of the Witch is being played, the Al Kooper Super Session version.2021.09.25: increasing review by one star, bc their tablet is broken, so they are playing WWOZ instead of the usual junk, so I can sit inside and enjoy good music while having great coffee instead of sticking myself outside to escape whatever noise is typically coming through the stereo2021.09.21: everything is solid here, especially the relatively early hours (this is not quite the dc-boston pace of life), except the music - produced stuff one might expect from a disney animated film teaser or teenage fireside liberals learning how to strum g chords while singing within one octave rather than new orleans. mgmt knows, i emailed them. all it takes is for the higher-ups to expense one trip to the pontchartrain hotel lobby bar on a tuesday evening over lowballs of pappy van winkel and numbers from nicholas payton to coax their spotifies to the right playlists.

Coffee was good. The atmosphere was nice and I sat and drank my coffee as I read the news online. I found the food choices lacking and depending on the slider vender in front of the cafe. I feel like I paid more for the sliders and coffee then I would if I went to other cafes with more diverse breakfast and brunch selections. The patrons were diverse and that was a plus. The seating outside was plentiful and inside was marginal. Right now that is to be expected with the pandemic. I hope they expand and add options to the menu.

Warm and welcoming coffee shop with consistently great coffee. They have really inventive coffee drinks too, plus the extras like oat milk, almond milk, and stevia if you want. They have inside and outside seating. Their garden seating is well designed and full of cool plants.

Strolling down magazine, decided to stop in. Got the frozen classic, it was fantastic. A nice quiet place to take a coffee break. Will be back.

New Orleans is a coffee town thanks to great local coffee shops like CR Coffee Shop. CR Coffee is my key to getting through the quarantine! Their Frozen Chocolate Covered Espresso Bean drink is a relief on a hot day. The baristas are always friendly. When in Uptown New Orleans Coffee Shops like this are a rare find!

Cute and Cozy coffee shop on Magazine. The coffee program is more commodity than specialty but service was very friendly and personable and I enjoyed the experience given I limited my expectations on the coffee.

Great outdoor patio, small, but funky coffeeshop set in an eclectic Nola home. Good coffee (though a bit pricey).

The coffee is tasty, the staff friendly, and the WiFi is strong.

Hard to find a sweet cream cold brew, which they had and I love. The cold brew itself was pretty average. Ordered a Cortado, milk was not aerated enough and there was too much milk, making the drink a traditional Cappuccino.

Great expansion, love Kevin and his staff. Visit, you will come back!!

Theres no ginger latte as delicious as their ginger latte (they make the ginger syrup).Also, separate entrance and exit and the flow of traffic in one direction help with social distancing right now.

We just moved here a couple of weeks ago from DC. While exploring our new neighborhood, we stumbled upon this gem set in an adorable old home with great outdoor seating. They follow COVID-19 regulations pretty strictly while not taking themselves too seriously.But there are two main reasons I’m writing this review:1) THE ICED CHAI is something out of this world. We are a nomadic family (military) and have lived in many places (Las Vegas, San Diego, San Fran, Coastal NC, Washington DC...) over the last 10 years. I’ve been a fan of chai since I was a teenager so I feel very qualified to say: CR’s chai is the best- from coast to coast. I’m not exaggerating.2) There is an employee that has been working almost every time we have come in that has been an absolute a ray of sunshine. I forget his name but he’s so nice and funny. Proof: I’ve brought in a different angsty teenager of mine each time and they were both won over. There is no higher compliment than that, my friends.❤️

Coffee was okay. But it wasnt fantastic. Service, again, okay. There were no trash cans in the patio dining area. Located in a nice little area and in walking distance of several shops.

SUCH a great place to work or chat with a friend. Very comfortable environment. Indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating has coverage so you have the option to not sit in direct sunlight if you dont want to.Every single time Ive been there they greet me like theyve known me my whole life!And best of all, great coffee!
