A quaint wine bar with good wine selections and friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed a 30 minute wine tasting with friends. I highly recommend Swirl.

Staff is top notch and knowledgeable. I am not that wine savvy, but the staff, Jessie, Erin, and Bridget, never have made me feel uncomfortable . They are terrific and I have seen them have to deal with a lot of difficult situations from customers who are quirky and/or eccentric . I do like their ability to juggle those customers with serious oenophiles and make everyone feel special. I don’t understand creepy reviews that denigrate hard working people. Sad, sad, sad!

I love Swirl and I love everyone who works there. They are super heroes during this time. Jesse is AWESOME!

Jesse, or whatever her name is, is extremely rude. Should be fired immediately. Has some kind of mood disorder and/or personality disorder. Doesn’t seem to be able to handle the responsibilities of the job, which are pretty basic when you are working a minimum wage job behind the counter! Take a deep breath! Just be nice!

The staff is friendly, professionally and fun! The Aperol Spritz is delicious and perfect for a leisure afternoon.

I was bragging to my son in Chicago how well Swirl was adapting to the new normal with pick up and delivery of wine, cheese, chocolates and olives and our son surprised us with a wonderful delivery from Swirl. I cant say enough good things about Swirl. It is a wonderful, welcoming wine bar with lots of learning events. Wednesday night flights are fun and well planned with someone to answer questions about wine being served. Champagne tastings are great with a real chance to learn about how champagnes are made. The addition of cheese plates made to order is a winner. Kudos to Swirl!!

My friend and I recieved terrible, rude treatment from a staff member of swirl. We had plans to order food from the restuarant next door and enjoy it at swirl (an option offered by swirl). Mind you, the place was completely empty.When I informed the woman there would be a third person would be joining us, she told us that each of would have to buy a glass of wine, because I knew one of us was would not be having wine, which we had no problem with. Because I knew one of us wasnt drinking, i asked if it would be okay if we purchased three glasses even though only two of us would be drinking wine she appeared visibly annoyed by my query and sharply said listen yall are really pushing it here when asked her if we could do that.This made both of us upset. When I expressed to her that I felt offended by her response, her reply??Thats fine and she went right back to stocking wine in the completely empty shop.My friend and i this point felt uncomfortable and unsafe in the space, so we quietly and calmly left.I live in the area and I have frequented swirl on a half dozen occasions and have spent quite a bit on money in their establishment and I have never received this sort of treatment and I will not be returning until my complaint is addressed.

We love Swirl. Beth is quite the sommelier. Im lucky that all I have to do is walk around the corner for great wine, cheese etc, and company! 🍷
