Awesome store, excellent selection of charms, decent variety of beads, though they didnt have 2 of the stone beads I was looking for. They are rather expense compared to another local shop or ordering online but they have more charm variety. Most items they carry are fairly priced once marked down in their clearance section in the back hall. Be prepared to park & walk.

Nice people and a lot of stock. You can make your jewelry in store or take it home. They have a stamp card available, for every 10 dollars you spend youll get a stamp, and once you have 10 stamps you get 10 dollars off your next purchase.

The employees are extremely helpful without being overbearing. There are so many beautiful beads and accessories to choose from. They also have a rewards program where you can get points towards a discount on your purchases. I love it because its a small cozy place with a cool vibe and you can also take classes to assist you with your craft. I love this place!

They have EVERYTHING! Im not really sure what I needed but they had it. The Bead Shop definitely has something for the creatives and the not so creative folk(like myself). There are beautiful quality selections to choose from and the staff is phenomenal and extremely knowledgeable. The selection caters to both ladies and gentlemen so there is definitely something for everyone. You can never have enough accessories so get busy!

Too expensive! One example is the price you pay for one charm you can buy a bulk of charms for that price depending on what kind of charms. I felt extremely uncomfortable looking around in the store. I have been shopping there for 2 years for certain things and I never felt uncomfortable. I noticed they hired new people and my experience with them was very uncomfortable not once but twice. I felt as if I was being watch every step I took and I even caught one of them watching me and she put her head down once I saw her doing that. I started to put everything I picked up back but I didnt. I paid $54 for two string of gold plated beads, 1 saints helmet charm, a stamped charm that says 504, and 1 string of replica pearl beads. After spending lots of money in that store for years I wont be shopping there anymore in life just because of the ridiculous prices for simple things and how I felt when going into the store the energy was overwhelmingly not good towards me.

The beads are pretty expensive but I guess they would be on Magazine St. Aside from pricing, they have some great beads. They also carry vintage Mardi Gras necklaces which are pretty. There are definitely some one of a kind beads in there if you k is what you are looking for.

I love this place!! I bought a necklace (that was design by the owner with very good taste) I can’t stop wear it. Great location and the diversity and quality of the beads is amazing. The staff and the owner represent NOLA soul They are warm, kind, polite and make you feel like family. I highly recommend this place.

Great prices, people, and huge selection

A huge selection of beads (some at reasonable prices, some not) for all your jewelry needs. The staff is very considerate, knowledgable, and helpful. I made a nice necklace for my mom in about an hour, and the staff members guided me step by step. The warm, cozy atmosphere adds to the experience, as well as a little private table in the back for stringing necklaces and bracelets. I highly recommend it!

Awesome selection of semi-precious gemstone beads & pendants; charms (incl great selection of NOLA charms); African beads; individual faceted & smooth beads; pearls; ebeads; etc. The prices are fair on most but a little high on some items. You can even buy the beads/charms/pendant & put it together right there on premises. They will assist you in putting any item together &/or repairs for a fee.

I like the big choice of merchandise . People working there very nice. They give jewelry making lessons. They are kinda pricey, but always enjoy doing business there.

The service there is very friendly and helpful... my problem is that I cant spend just a few minutes or just a couple of dollars there, because there are just SO MANY beautiful and cool things in stock! Its a bead, component and charm WONDERLAND!!If all youre concerned with is cost, youll probably find lower prices online, but if youre picky like me, youll be happy to pay a bit more to choose. And youll be pleased with the quality they offer.I try to go when theyre less likely to be busy because the shop can get quite crowded, which makes selecting things like chain or charms or components more challenging (that and street parking are typical problems for shopping downtown).All in all, Im thrilled to have access to such a great little shop!

The worst customer service ever... left 2 bracelets to be fixed they are silver beads made in South America. Spoke to 3 or 4 different people they called said they are ready went to pick up ....one was done or sized the wrong....with a wrong cord.. which they are suppose to be the experts not me.. the other was not even started or started wrong .. left then the person that actually does the fixing called....super rude wouldnt let me speak .. oh my all I wanted was my bracelets to be fix I didnt think it was that difficult being that they are the experts .. well then I get an email from the owner saying they dont want to do business with me they have me in a recording being rude to her employee .. is this even legal to record your customers???Wow I wonder if she only hear one said of that recording ... why do they have to record you ....have they had issues with other customers???Be careful with this business they are not customer oriented ...very unpleasant expirence
