There are a LOT of things in here. Youll find something you love like I did. The owner or associate was very friendly. Now I need to find a reason to use a cufflink, they had so many!

Nice owners/employees. Mutant glass, old salt & pepper shakers, wall pockets, costume jewelry, one-of-a-kind art by local artists, antique lamps & crystal chandeliers

Just went to this store to check out some 78 rpm records. They had a bunch that were unpriced but I was happy to look through them anyway. Many of them were completely crushed in pieces or partially cracked which isnt uncommon or completely out of the ordinary, just sad and annoying. It was initially unclear as to how much the 78s were but it eventually became clear according to an employee that they wanted $5 each. This is completely reasonable depending on the record. I saw a bunch of 78s inside an old Victrola so I looked in there and found some stuff I was interested in. One of the employees told me he wasnt sure how much those were though and that hed have to talk to the owner to make sure. I waited to meet the owner before the store closed and he gave me a pretty fair price of $40 for a stack of 9 78s. I wasnt super passionate about them though so I bargained with him and asked if hed do a 25% discount for the stack ($30). I dont think this was unreasonable because they were unpriced, not that easy to get to in the shop, and the market for shellac records in stores is pretty slim. I usually find them all the time for $1-2. I told him this and he said that he finds them all the time too and that if I find them all the time then I should know that his offer was a steal. I didnt quite agree with that as a pre-war blues and jazz collector so I just told him they unfortunately werent early enough for me and so I said goodbye and left. This comment, questioning my experience as a collector, the experience of having to wait for the owner to price them, and the experience of it not being clear how much the records were just didnt feel good. I probably would have bought them in the end for the price he asked for if I was talking to someone who was a little less sure of himself, realized his setup was messy, and was there to price them for me from the beginning. His comment felt arrogant and quite frankly ridiculous. When I left Im thinking to myself who is this guy, claiming to buy 78s all the time, to tell me his offer is a steal when his 78s are unorganized, broken, and its not even clear how much theyre worth?

I don’t know which is more fantastic, the shop itself or the owner. I’ve been shopping here for years and I have never left empty handed, having always found something totally irresistible, unique and reasonably priced. The owner is fun and friendly and really knows his stuff. He can absolutely tell legitimate antiques of literally any kind from reproductions. If you haven’t gone here, go! If you have been here before, go back! There’s always something amazing.

Our favorite store in New Orleans and quite honestly best antique store we have ever been to! The antiques are so reasonably priced. The owners are so passionate and knew just about everything about each item up for sale. They have two paintings that were major props in American Horror Story Coven of former supremes. Well be back and letting everyone we know who visits NOLA to stop by!

My favorite antique store in the city. Always welcoming atmosphere. I spend hours looking through the treasures. I can always find the best and unique gifts here. This vintage ladys lighter came from an estate sale. The clerk thought it was probably too old to get working again. Always up for a challenge, I took her apart with no knowledge of lighters. With a lot of trial and error, deep breath woo-sahhs, and old fashioned elbow grease I got it back together and working like a champ. Cant wait to go treasure hunting again!!

Complete ripoff of a place. We paid for a lamp and paid for the shipping of the lamp the first week of September. It is now November and it has not arrived. Numerous phone calls have been made with messages, Zero replies.Never do business with this outfit. Stay away. Ill be down next year and will look forward to seeing this place legally closed.
