I was desperate. The place that I usually use to service my car was booked solid. I called Riccos and they was able to accommodate me right away. My car was leaking anti-freeze and I had no heat because of it. They fixed my car quickly and correctly and the price was very fair. I will definitely consider using Riccos again and I recommend giving them a try.

I recently had a leak in the brake line of my vehicle. For reference, its an older car (2004) with decent mileage (~140k), and it has a decent amount of rust, so its not the perfect vehicle, but it gets me from point A to point B.I was fed up with a different mechanic, so I tried out this place after reading decent reviews. I dropped off my car in the morning and gave them a call in the afternoon. I cant remember the exact words verbatim, but the mechanic told me that there was too much wrong with the vehicle for him to try to fix it. When I asked him to elaborate, he said the chassis (among other things) was bad, and that to fix everything, it would cost $500 or so.I asked him how much it would cost to fix the brakeline (and not all of the other things he mentioned), but he said he wouldnt do it, claiming that when I fix something, I want to fix everything, and since the car was so old, it just wasnt worth it. I picked up the car later that day and took it to a different mechanic in town.Im giving this place 2 stars because they didnt attempt to charge me, but they didnt fix the reason I brought the car in. Im not an expert, but I dont understand how the chassis was related, or why they refused to work on the car unless they could fix everything.For those reasons, I dont know when it would make sense for me to bring another vehicle here.

I brought my 2004 Volvo in for repairs in April 2017. Never seemed to run that smoothly after. Brought it in for service at another place....found out they left the spindle nut off on the drivers side, which resulted in the axel and hub being destroyed. I was an easy target, I guess--an admitted single mom who knows nothing about cars. I spent $600 for them to pretty much mess up my car worse. Thanks for nothing.
