I’ve used BAM in the past and had a good experience, but I went yesterday for the first time in two years or so, and I was very disappointed. I went to dye my hair dark brown from a light color- a relatively simple process.Without naming names, I had a female hairdresser who didn’t protect my skin from the dye. It got all over my forehead, side of my face, and my hair was pressed against the back of my neck. My eye got irritated from all the dye on my face too.She very speedily and half heartedly colored my hair. It was sloppy. She used a ton of materials but didn’t bother really working it in carefully..I should have said something but I’m very shy and not confrontational.. I also just hoped that maybe it would be okay.I asked meekly one of the other hairdressers for some wet paper towels to wipe off the dye myself and was instead handed some Kleenex and basically told it would come off when I washed and it was probably because I touched my own hair or something…My hair was shampooed by a nice shampoo lady but she scalded my head with boiling hot water and I yelped and said to please make it cooler. She did it like twice more.I ended up going home without really drying my hair because I didn’t want to be there any more and my hair came out extremely splotchy, there were lighter strands everywhere and it looks awful.. my roots are way lighter and the places underneath are all streaky. I could have done a way better job for $10 at home. My skin is still discolored around my forehead, even though the nice shampoo lady tried her best to wipe it off.No one seems to care about service anymore. I felt like I was bothering them by coming. They used to be better but i won’t be coming back. I wouldn’t suggest this place anymore to anyone who actually wants to look good or be treated with the barest of decent customer service.

Boris, Arson, and Michael are the knowledgeable, and experienced brothers who make this hair and nail salon warm, friendly and professional. Our friends agree BAM IS GREAT!

Such a great experience! My sister got her hair done here by Hassnaa for the first time and loved the results. Staff and service was great. Seeing her get her hair done made me want to get my hair done so I will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place.

I have been coming to Bam Style for quite sometime now. I love everything about this place. I always get my hair done by Elaine who does an amazing job with my curls or if I end up wanting to try to have it straight for a couple of days. Always feel so great with the end results and recommend Elaine to everyone. Pedicures are wonderful too and always a treat. :)

Thoroughly enjoyed the Dead Sea pedicure! The massage was the thorough and relaxing.

BAM is conveniently located in Lake Success shopping center. Plenty of parking. Talented stylists here and the prices are reasonable. Salon is clean and spacious.They take extra care because of Covid.

Love this place. Been coming here for years for my nails and for my hair. The owners are great and the quality is top notch. Definitely recommend, and Im very picky!!Edit: Adding to my review - Hassna gave me the best haircut Ive ever gotten! I feel so beautiful! And the salon is doing a great job keeping safe during covid. Love it here!I love getting my nails done with Suzy... she does the best job (for me she does gel, powder gel, eyebrows and pedicures) and she is so wonderful. I have been coming to her for a couple of years now, and she is like family!

One of the best hair salon I have been too. Boris (the owner) is amazing with hair. Highly recommended. The nails tech are also awesome. One perfect spot for hair and nails!

I am a busy mom, soldier and nurse; however I understand the importance of self care and this is my favorite place to go. Tina, Suzy and Jeung have been doing my nails for the last 3 years and my gel polish or dip powder always last more than two weeks. My son also gets his hair cut here and they do a fantastic job not to mention they keep him busy while I am getting pampered.

Came here today to get my hair cut, styled and highlighted. I didn’t have highlights for 2 years and I saw Hassanna. She did such an amazing job!! I’ll definitely recommend her!Update: came here again to get my hair corrected! I had red highlights and because of covid everything was shut down. Jenny did my hair and omg it came out amazing!!!! I went for my natural colors and mostly black but with brown full highlights.

This place is the worst for nails! The nail technicians are BEYOND rude. I have never in my life seen customer service like this. I made an appointment for 12 noon today. I walk in and all the pedicure chairs are full. I advised them I was there for my 12 noon appointment and Tina completely ignored me as if I hadn’t just said something. I said, did you hear me? She looked at clock and started speaking in another language to the nail technician sitting next to her without even responding to or looking at me. No apology, no it will just be a few minutes, nothing. This has happened before. They don’t even do a good job, I go because it is convenient and near my job. I will no longer put up with this. It is disgusting and BAM should really do something about the nail staff. Paying customers should never be subjected to treatment like this. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Loved the gel manicure I got! and I got a small massage too!! probably because I was constantly moving my neck but overall it was an amazing experience. and I got a $10 off hair service.....not sure if I would want to try that yet but maybe in the future. the staff was very nice and the place was comfy and clean and overall amazing!!!

Made an appointment to get my hair washed and blown during lunch one day as out is near my office. Man at the front desk asked me if I had a preferred stylist. Being it wad my first time there I told him I did not. He interrupted a few of the chatting stylist to have one of them attend me. The female stylist that attended me could not remember my name and kept calling me by different names the entire time I was there. She did a terrible job with my hair. Honestly given how her own hair looked, I probably should not have been surprised. This was a waste of my time and money. I would not recommend.

The best place I ever went to. The new owners are great, they made me feel very comfortable since its a salon not a barbershop my haircut came out flawless mike did a great job. Best of all free parking. Overall great experience, great service, I recommend this salon to everyone both men and women.

Figured Id try this nail salon out because it was close to the office and maybe the reviews didnt give the place a full chance. Well as I walked into the establishment not greeted by anyone, thankfully what I assume to be the owner walked in behind me. As the other workers continued their chatting the owner asked if I needed help. I explained I needed a fill in. He went, spoke with the nail technicians in the back whom said it would be 15 minutes. Ok, no problem I waited. At the very moment that 15 minutes was up the nail technician from the back came to ask me if I would wait 20 more minutes. Are you kidding me! What kind of establishment is this! This business is not run effectively considering there are on 3 nail technicians working. This was a waist of my time and proof that every other negative review had some truth!

I had a gel manicure there not once but twice. The nail technicians were very nice but they did a horrible job. I got my gel manicure on a Friday and they chipped the next day. Ill never go back there again.

Whenever I walk into BAM I am greeted with smiles. The owners Boris, Arsen and Michael are all very friendly and knowledgeable. Recently I had Jaira blow out my hair for a wedding and she did a great job. She listened to exactly what I wanted. I always get my nails done in the back by Tina or Suzy who both do wonderful manicures and pedicures. I wouldnt go anyplace else.

Went there for the first time on my lunch break for a wash, cut and blow dry. Unfortunately, my hair looks like it just got washed and blown out. The hairstylist didnt cut it as much as I told her and I did not have the time to tell her that she doesnt know how to cut hair. I believe this establishment is still open because of the convenience of being across the street from so many buildings with employees thatll want a quick fix but it isnt worth it.

This place desrves to have much higher reviews. I called last minute for an emergency appointment and Arson said no problem and took me in right away. Very kind and knowledgeable, I was comfortable the whole time and I left feeling beautiful. Highly recommend!

Found this salon on Groupon. Very professional stylists. Boris did my highlights beautifully, shaped my hair with a nice hair cut, and finished it off with a voluminous blow out. Boris exceeded my expectations. This is my new salon! Highly recommended!

I was a frequent visitor at the spa, and I also introduced many of my friends to go there but their service has been degrading. The new nail staff is very disrespectful and sloppy on the service. I feel they are rushing me out every time I go there. You are in the people servicing business. Treat your customer right or your will them quick, like you have lost me.

I rate this salon 5/5 in my book for the following reasons. I am very picky with where I go to get my hair done and I can say I am overall very impressed with the services given by the owners: Boris, Arsen, and Michael. Everytime I want to get my hair done, this is the first place that comes to mind because I am always customer satisfied with results after getting my hair dyed or even just styled. I recommended trying this place out if you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy place with amazing staff.

Best Hair Salon around, great treatment from all employees and owners. I will always stand by this place.

Not worth the money! I asked for a blonde and the stylist did not even make my hair blonde. She even made me believe that my hair was going to turn lighter.. Mind you I payed over 200 dollars to get my hair blonde..which did not happen Stay away!!.. Dont bother coming here they will overcharge you and not even do what you ask for.. Such a waste of money

Honestly, thank G-d for groupon for introducing me to this salon. I needed to get my nails done for a family wedding and was very skeptical of going to a salon to do it, but I am so happy with how everything came out. Jang did my nails and she was so patient and helpful ( especially for an indecisive person like me who has a hard time committing to Gel colors :) ). Even though I changed my mind a few times she never got annoyed at me and truly did an amazing job with my gel manicure and pedicure. I never leave reviews but I really felt this place needs a great review because I live right near the salon and have never been there and wish I new about it years ago. I know where I will be going from now on. They also have a huge collection of Essie and OPI colors which was great. And dont get me started about how easy parking is. Overall, I was very pleased with the cleanliness, the service, and the outcome out my mani pedi.

This place looks clean but the service is disgusting and poor. I had a gel manicure and pedicure. Within 3 days my nails came off and my toenails got a fungus. Disgusting will never be going back dont waste your time.

Horrible service. The guy told me to wait 10 minutes for a mainicure and I ended up waiting an hour and a half when the place was empty. Never again!!
