We went for my daughters kindergarten eye exam and they were fantastic! We were in and out very quickly, they were so nice to my younger two kids who tagged along, and everyone was so knowledgeable and helpful. They did great explaining everything to my five year old, and it was a much more pleasant experience than I was anticipating taking 3 kids under 5. Highly recommend!

I had an outstanding experience at Hockemeyer Family Eye Care. All the staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and professional; they were right on top of handling insurance coverage and questions. Dr. Hockemeyer explained my eye conditions, and I left, knowing that I was in good hands. I believe that my appointment was at a busy time, it seemed as if I waited quite a long time, before I was called in to start testing. I do like the fact that the office has extended business hours, 8-8 on three days a week; this suits my schedule just fine. Overall,, a really great appointment!

Met with Dr Hockemeyer a couple months ago! It had been 4 or 5 years since I had my eyes checked. I knew my eye sight was off, but didnt realize to what extent. Prior to going to Hockemeyer, I had gone to one of the larger practices in Fort Wayne. I really felt like a number there, just shuffled from one spot to the next. Dr. Hockemeyers office is pretty out of the way for me, but I still spend less time at my appointment there than at the other place I was going. The service is friendly, personal, and they answer all my questions without making me feel rushed. They are great!

I was disappointed in service around 7pm i got a half of contact stuck and it was scratching my eye so my sister and i made several calls to the emergency eye care number leaving messages explaining the situation and asking could someone call back we got no response until 749am i feel 12hrs for a optical emergency is a little to long to wait
