I was not sure what to expect when I decided to try Carmart, but the entire experience was great. You look at what you want, apply for financing and they will send you information on what you are approved for. The selection of cars is wonderful. Something for everyone. The only complaint I would have is the fact that I wasnt able to pick up the car on the same day. But hey, I get it. They had to further detail the car as it was added to their lot just the day before. I like the facts that I was offered the option to purchase extra warranty and that I was shown all carfax and maintenance history... all with no pressure from a salesman. Thank you Carmart!!

They sell lemons. Haven’t even had my car for a year & had to replace the engine and accelerator pedal. The next day after I bought my car the battery went dead. Also MOST of the sensors have shortage. You call them to tell them & they don’t care. I personally do not recommend this dealer

Bought a car in June and they registered one tag and gave me a completely different tag. Didn’t realize until I was stopped and the office confiscated the tag and I had to spend an hour at motor vehicle getting it resolved. I called and told them and they said they’d look into it because they had no record of me in their system. Didn’t hear back so I called and THEY BLOCKED MY NUMBER for absolutely no reason. This very well could have been an honest albeit unprofessional mistake but was handled in the most shady way possible. Don’t trust them.Since I cannot respond directly I’ll do it here. Someone should have called last night. I NEVER said I was coming to the office-I’m not driving all over delaware with no tags. Motor Vehicle verified that it was partially their error but some of the blame did lie with Carmart. The big difference is they helped. Also when I purchased the vehicle I said I wanted to use a tag I already had and you ignored that. Thankfully I had it and was able to get it switched last night after spending over an hour at DMV.

Bought a 2015 Dodge Charger about 2 weeks ago from Carmart in New Castle, DE. Due to COVID, I was a little bit hesitant to go to the dealership so I decided to give them a call. Nour was the salesperson who assisted me through the whole buying experience. He suggested to go online and fill up a credit application and he followed up with me the next day. We discussed my payment options and worked out a deal. I made an appointment in the morning to avoid the crowd, the car was detailed and ready for me. After test driving the car and checking the Carfax, I made my decision and signed the paperwork. I didnt had that kind of pressure that you normally feel when you go to a dealer and I will definitely be back in the near future and get a car for my better half.

We bought a 2010 Mini Cooper convertible last month. We love the car, its mechanically sound, every feature, all bells and whistles work because they had it inspected before it hit their lot. The process to purchase, including Carmart registering the car, was easy. A lot of work done on their end. Their friendly no-pressure approach to business is much appreciated. They are honest in their insights to used cars, and provide sound advice. We will definitely look to them first for a next car.

I was sold a lemon!!!!!!!!!!’ Bought my car in May. Only to find out four months later that the motor is trash and car is done! Now I’m stuck paying 20,000 for a car that is now trash. Motor costs over 4,000 to replace. Coming to this place was the biggest mistake of my life.

Gentleman was honest and went above and beyond to place me in a vehicle. I bought a BMW which is a very nice vehicle and I am very happy with it. The only complaint I have is the customer service I received from the receptionist. When I followed up with her about paperwork she hung up on me. I thought that was rude and unprofessional. Other than that my experience with Nour was excellent. I would definitely buy another vehicle as yet refer my friends to him.

I bought a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe in June, 2019 and Ive had problems with it ever since. First when I bought it, it was infested with ants. Took a while to get rid of them. The a/c used to get hot when I would stop the car, as well as the thermostat reaching hot. To this day the thermostat always says its hot but it might be a sensor. Sometimes filling gas up, the pump would stop multiple times when the clip thing was on. Had to buy a brand new battery and alternator. Cassette player doesnt work. And other minor issues, do not recommend this place at all.

I bought a 2009 Subaru a little over 3 months ago, very friendly people and very helpful. I had a minor issue with the car charger, I took it back and they fixed free of charge. They handled the title work and tags on a timely manner. Very pleased with the vehicle and the service, I didn’t hesitate to leave a positive review when asked.

I bought a car a little over 2 months ago from this place. Transmission Was bad as well as exhaust!! I ask I askto test drive several times while I was filling out paper work and wasn’t let go until that was done. As soon as I did the car was jumpy and you could hear the exhaust leak. I asked if the was transmission problems and about the exhaust the OWNER said that their mechanic had looked at it and it just needed to be tuned up. Fast forward 2 months I call and let them know about the jumping and was told the “ mechanic “ is not a mechanic !! Needless to say I called and let them know they sold me a car with a bad transmission. And was told to take them to court lmao and that the owner would give me a call. It’s been 2 weeks with no call just went and picked my lid ended up and he hid in the back on his phone this place is a disgrace and has horrible ways of dealing with customers!

Horrible customer service. But hope he know I wanted that suv very bad and my son wanted that car badly as well, so I was just going to pay cash cause bank wanted high down payments. He said he would call me back the next day and its been 3 weeks still havent heard from him. But wouldnt even matter. Cause 2 days after we left there, we found another dealership with both the vehicles that we wanted and I payed cash for them both. Thank you for not calling me back. I got a great deal with my current dealership that I went to. Lower miles, newer models and lower price with free 2 year bumper to bumper warranties on both our vehicles. I bought a car in April. I test drove it around 13, and thru Gracelawn cemetery bc I thought it would easier to diagnose any problems without having people drive around me. Seemed like a great car other then it needing 4 tires since they were all dry rotted and the valves were corroded. I told them to take 600 off and we had a deal. In which he said yes if I let him put the tires on. Said no bc if you didnt have decent tires on to begin with, why now? Plus I wasnt asking for 600 off to then pay them to put used tires on when I could get brand new ones for less then he wanted. Anyhow, drove my car home which is only 15 mins away and was happy. The next day I went to go to Walmart in Middletown and take my toddler to her activity class and after driving for 20 to 25 mins the car starts not shifting correctly. The owner had specifically told me that he personally test drove the car to Middletown and back when I was signing the paperwork. I was able to allow the car to cool down as I went shopping and it was acting fine as long as I was going 50mph or more. I continued to drive it to and from work bc its only 7 miles 1 way. The minite I drove more then 20 minites or more it would start shifting weird between 30 and 50 mph. I was able tp wait it out 3 months bc I only drove a short distance 3 days a week. My check engine light came on 1 morning while driving to Hockessin for my 2 yr olds check up. Come to find out I need a new transmission and my car doesnt shift properly in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th gear which explains why it only did it when i drove less then about 55mph. I would definitely make sure whatever vehicle you are thinking of buying that you take it to a shop and pay the 200 or less to have it diagnosed properly. Im a single parent who wanted to buy a safe and reliable car for my daughter to be in and they absolutely knew something was wrong. Theres no way they didnt. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.

Sells bad cars, i bought a 2008 dodge avenger from him, as soon as i left the lot the engine light came on. the owner said he would fix it, did patch up jobs, turns out that he knew all along that the car had major issues and didnt want to invest the money into the car. I took it to a mechanic and the car needs a transmission. He isnt an honest man and i would never recommend anyone to buy a car from him, and dont use his mechanic. BAD BAD BAD

!!!!!DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!!!!These people will be friendly with you when they take your money, but want nothing to do with you once they get it.Bought a Grand Cherokee from this place and after signing the paperwork the car died on the lot before I could drive it away. The owner assured us it was nothing and even offered to give a refund by the end of the day. I should have taken the refund. The “new muffler” they put on it was done incorrectly so that needed to be repaired. Then my oil light came on three days later, after that repair was done I thought it would all work out. NOPE Then the transmission started to shift incorrectly and the engine light came on (bad PCM) So within owning the vehicle for seven days, i have only been able to drive it for 4 days and it has left almost $1000 more out of pocket. Don’t buy from this place unless you like being ripped off...It took them two weeks to send me the title for the vehicle. When I called to inquire the first time I was told the owner would call me back. Never received a call.Update on 3/29(purchased the car on 3/09) vehicle taken to Jeep dealership to diagnose continued vehicle shifting issue. The car has a bad ESM and bad transmission fluid. Cost of repair: 2,000 dollars.Update on 4/3 vehicle now has a bad starter and bad starter wiring harness. $580 repair bill. Had to be towed back to the dealership a second time.Update 5/6: vehicle is not safe to drive. I reached out to the owner to ask for a refund on this vehicle, was informed that in less than 60 days the price of the vehicle has dropped $2500. He started recommending places I could wholesale it to. Absolute nightmare scenario with these people.So in conclusion, an additional $4000+ spent on this vehicle in repairs that I purchased less than 60 days ago. I still don’t have a running car and now have to sell it and find something else.The Proguard warranty that he offers is useless. It does not cover absolutely anything. He will con you in to paying half on this warranty while he pays the other half. Do not let him give you a false sense of security with this warranty.In reply to the response below that was given:Regardless if the vehicle is 12 years old. If you are selling something on your lot it should not break down two days after being purchased. After taking a closer look at the work that you did to it to get it running I wouldnt trust your business with a lawnmower repair. Untrustworthy, terrible business, you should be ashamed of yourselves...
