Just left. Husband was inquiring about a size barrel on a 556 pistol and the female working was rude. She said “I don’t know, I don’t keep a tape measure here” and rolled her eyes as saying it. While that may be true, it’s not how you treat a customer! We were there to buy a couple guns, ammo, targets, and a purse. Her comment and treatment made us leave immediately. We won’t return as long as she’s there working, and will warn our family and friends of her also.

Great little shops. They had the ammo I been looking for and at a decent price. Very helpful with looking at the scope. I will definitely go back.

Finally made it over to check this place out and wasnt disappointed. Had no plans of buying a gun that day but wanted to check a few out and they just kept handing me them lol so I could feel alot of different ones for grip and weight. Handed me everything from budget to expensive and wasnt trying to upsell. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable and I found a couple boxes of defense ammo Ive been looking for forever and also picked up a new mag loader. Prices were very fair and even took my info for a gun Ive been looking for and said they would call when it came in. Nice place nice people and I look forward to going back as many times as my wallet will let me.

This store has truly reasonable pricing on all firearms and a helpful staff that is not pushy about sales. I felt comfortable looking around and trying out (feeling) a bunch of handguns before finding the one I wanted. I traded in my current handgun to get the new one and I received what I feel was a truly reasonable trade in value for the gun. I will definitely be coming back for more firearm related purchases in the future.

ZERO STARS. Ordered my pistol In Stock on 4/22. Email said it would ship by 5/4 at the latest. Still hasnt shipped. I have emailed and called so many times. They responded to two emails. One saying sir, we are working as fast as possible. That was it, no update or anything. The second one said they did not forget about me and would escalate the status of my order. It seems like they did forget about me. I am contacting Browning today to suggest they stop doing business with this company, and filing a grievance with the Federal Trade Commission to enforce the online-merchant 30-Day/50-Day shipping policy.DO NOT ORDER HERE. The savings are not worth the headache.

Wanted a Ruger Elite AR15 lower, Contacted them over the weekend after black Friday and they still gave me the black Friday price. Looks like some people complain about their communication but I always got a prompt response from their website email. I will admit the store could be hard to get a hold of sometimes but Jerry there was nice. My job makes it pretty hard to get a hold of me and I think this place was pretty accommodating. Would do business with them again.

I have had positive experiences each time Ive dealt with these guys, bought several firearms from them, also had guns shipped to Buckshot from gunbroker; never had any issues whatsoever.

Shame on me for not doing even the simplest search on these guys. Ordered over a month ago. Card was charged over a month ago. Multiple emails from both me and my FFL trying to find out whats going on, and no response.Started the process with my card company to get my money back.

Seems to be a trend with these guys. My order was placed on 4/30/2017. Has not shipped yet, as of 6/12/2017, and all that they can tell me is that it will be shipped soon whatever that means.... They have had my money since 5/2/2017, it would be nice if they waited to process payment after the item has physically shipped to my FFL. I would be happy to update my review when/if I ever receive my item...

My first online firearm purchase was a bit like buying on Amazon. The firearm showed up at my gun shop in two days. So from that point onwards I considered that the norm.I ordered from Buckshot and after 10 days I got a little nervous, they emailed me back saying they were swamped. Eventually the firearm arrived and when it was all said and done it was a good deal.Be patient or buy elsewhere is my 2 cents on BS Sporting Goods

The Good: I had to cancel a gun order because I was attending a military school and they refunded the whole amount (instead of charging the 20% restock fee)The bad: They didnt ship when they said they would (which is why I had to cancel my order). I tried for several days to get in touch before finally canceling my order. They finally responded. They didnt issue my refund when they said they would, so I asked them to send the check. They didnt send it when they said they would. It took two month from when I ordered until I got my money back. I would highly discourage you from ordering here

Their prices flat out beat VRAs, even if they dont have the same selection. They can usually order whatever youre wanting anyway. Just an all around nice hometown feeling gunshop.

Ordered a .40 1911 mag on a Saturday and it was in on the following Friday. There was a little mix up on shipping to my house Vs to the store. They caught it and refunded me the shipping. Great guys to deal with.

Ordered pistol on 2/18/17, they had FFL information on 2/20/17. Did get an email from them stating pistol would ship in 5-7 days.,tried to email on 3/3/17, received automated email. Tried to call 3 times with no answer. Finally got ahold of someone on 3/3/17 was told that they had bad storms and knocked out computers. At the end of the day I could have spent another $20.00 and had my pistol in 2 days. Was told it would ship on 3/6/17. Will update.

Ordered 4/26/2017 since they had the best price once I added FFL fees in NYC. No shipping info sent & no reply to multiple calls or multiple emails as of 5/15. Ive disputed the transaction with my credit card company. Its not worth the hassle to deal with Buck Shot Sporting Goods, especially given the 30 purchase authorization in NYC. I had to get a new purchase authorization from NYCPD due to Buck Shot Sporting Goods their shipping delays. I wish I had read these multiple reviews about shipping delays before wasting my time with them and taking time off to go to get a second purchase authorization.

Just as others have stated NOT worth ordering from. I asked for an update after 9 days of not hearing from them and them charging me for my purchase. I received 3 form letter Emails the finally wrote me back saying I was only on the 7th business day and they would happily refund me or complete my order. I replied back asking for an actual status and said if they didnt have my order processed by the 10th business day. Today 5/9 was the 10th business day and still no update. If I could give a lower score I would. NEVER do business with these people. I am contacting my CC company tomorrow and refusing the charge.

I placed a Order on 5-12-17 for a Ruger MK IV that Buck Shot Sporting Goods claimed to have in stock. Received a email on May 17 that the estimated ship date of my gun would be 5/23-5/26. Those dates passed and still no word from Buck Shot Sporting Goods with a update or tracking number. By this point I had tried reaching them via email and phone with no reply. On May 30th I send a email and a automated email is sent to me with no direct reference to my order just a generic FAQs page. So on May 30 I send another email detailing how I will be forced to contact my credit card company and dispute the charges since I have not heard anything from them. I finally get a human typed email on May 30 that basically tells me what I already know that they do not have the gun (even tho their website said it was in stock). I respond back to that email thread, No response back from Buck Shot Sporting Goods. Last attempt was made on June 2 for some information and no response was given back. On June 5 credit card company fraudulent claims department was called and they started the process of having my money returned back to me.I have bought a number of guns over the internet and never have I been given such a run around and lack of communication. Most online orders for me take about 4-8 business days and its in my FFLs hands. Most companies also answer the phone and write you back when the buyer has a question about their order. This company does not do any of this. They want to lie about their stock status and then sucker people into buying from them and then hold their money and not ship a product.My Credit Card Companies Fraud department did advise me that if enough people had claims with this company that law enforcement would step in and investigate them. I encourage all who have outstanding orders with Buck Shot Sporting goods to contact their Credit Card Fraud department and file a claim.These people are not good people to deal with. This has been a nightmare from the start.The 1 star given is way to much credit to give to such a poorly ran business.

ORDERED FIREARM ON 3/4/2017. NO COMMUNICATION UNTIL I PLACED A CALL ON 3/16/2017 TO FIND OUT ABOUT MY ORDER. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WERE STILL WAITING ON MY FFL TO EMAIL THEM THE PAPERWORK. AT THAT POINT I CALLED MY FFL AND TOLD THEM TO PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL WITH THE PERTINENT INFORMATION. DID NOT HEAR ANYTHING AGAIN UNTIL I SENT ANOTHER EMAIL ASKING ABOUT AN UPDATE ON MY ORDER. THEY EMAILED ME SAYING THAT ALL THE PAPERWORK WAS RECEIVED AND MY GUN SHOULD SHIP ON WED 23RD. APPARENTLY THERE IS NO WAY TO GET IN TOUCH WITH WEBSALES UNLESS ITS THROUGH EMAIL NOT EVEN THEY CAN REACH THEIR OWN WAREHOUSE TO FIND ANYTHING OUT ABOUT YOUR ORDER. BOTTOM LINE IS IM STILL WAITING 3 WEEKS LATER CHECKING MY EMAIL CONSTANTLY FOR ANY COMMUNICATION FROM THEM. FIRST AND LAST TIME THAT I GET ANYTHING FROM THEM. STAY AWAY.

Ordered on 5/1. Did not responde to multiple emails until the 23rd when they said itd ship out and was provided a tracking number. The tracking number is either for a different package or they sent my gun to the wrong ffl/wrong state. Called multiple times the last few days with no answer, tried fb messenger and email. Nothing. Giving it 1 more day or i will be disputing the charge on my credit card. Absolutely insanity.Update with rest of story- In an unsurprising turn of events, my gun was sent to the wrong gun shop. That right, the wrong shop. Apparent there is more than one Genos gun shop in america. These ones however, are in totally different states. so it had to go back to them to be shipped out again. Took over a month to get the gun, closer to 6 weeks. In all this time I could never get ahold of them on the phone, got 1 email reply stating what happened and was never offered so much as an apologie or compensation of any kind. I would at least expect shipping to be refunded. Nope. Again, dont do business with these guys. You save 20 bucks over competitors but at least they wont screw you around for 4-6 weeks.
