I worked with Christi at this dealership and was hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had when purchasing vehicles. I met with her with no intentions on buying a vehicle my first time visiting the dealership but with her knowledge of the 2020 MDX I was interested in, the comfort and care she showcased and ability to work with what I needed won me over almost immediately. I ended up trading in my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee for a 2020 Acura MDX and am absolutely in love with it! Everyone at the dealership is extremely helpful and friendly and Christi did she an amazing job helping me through the process. I love this dealership!!! The Manager Cray took great of me when I first came in despite them being busy. My sales representative Oeut was the BOMB! She’s literally the sweetest car salesperson I have ever met. Chris was real informative with the paperwork and was real efficient. This place works as a team and you don’t feel that you’re being ripped off or not taken care of. Very nice facility and I would recommend anyone to visit them first if you’re looking for a vehicle. I would like to share my wonderful experience with the Hertrich Acura Dealership of New Castle DE. I have a 2011 Acura MDX with significant amount of miles. It was time to purchase a new vehicle. I got to the dealership early in the morning and I was greeted by the GM Craig Munholland. He was friendly and quickly got a sales person named Oeut to help me out. I explained to both of them that I have been on the website and was interested in driving a few used vehicles.Oeut was very helpful and was able to answer all of my questions during the test drives about the vehicles of my interest. I felt no pressure at all to make a purchase, however, I was able to quickly pick out my choice.The finance steps were also very easy. They gave me an excellent price for my trade in as well as a great interest rate. They were able to detail the car right away while I met with the finance person Michelle. There were a lot of papers to sign but she made the process go very smoothly.Lastly, Oeut took an extensive about of time with tech support of my new purchase. I am not tech savvy, but she made me feel comfortable that I would be able to be successful to operate the tech system. She also gave me videos for additional support and her contact information.I would highly recommend this dealership. It was a stress free experience! I am thrilled with my purchase!

Let me tell you about my experience, my Acura broke down at a light unable to go anywhere. I had the vehicle towed in around 6pm. I recieved a phone call the following day that my vehicle was all set and ready to go!! Exceptional service and the service advisor was extremely friendly and willing to answer all of my questions. The service was covered completely due to a recall. Ive been to several other dealers and I never recieve such a warm welcome like I do from the service staff here. This is every visit. But my last visit was worth mentioning. Thanks Shelly and Larry. FYI I didnt purchase the vehicle here.

Poor Service Experience. Today, I drove through icy road conditions to make my 7:30 oil change appointment (on time) that I scheduled last week. When I initially scheduled the appointment, we discussed the service I needed and the fact that I needed to be done by 8:30 due to another appointment.Today, I arrived at 7:29 and noticed the drive through garage was full of cars. After waiting 7-8 minutes without being acknowledged I walked in and was told by the man working in service that he needed a couple more minutes so I went back in my vehicle. At 7:40, I was in the service mans office and told him that I needed an oil change. We had further conversation but he stated that it would take an hour and a half to change the oil. I then questioned why an oil change takes that long and he responded “ an hour to an hour and a half”. I then asked him if I could get it completed in an hour and he responded again that all of their services take “ an hour to an hour in a half”. I then asked him if he could call the technician to see if he could do it in an hour and he refused. So I left! Such poor service! They knew what service I was coming for and also knew that I only had an hour but still accepted my appointment and I made it timely driving through icy roads to get there. The service man just didn’t even seem to care. As a result, we are contemplating selling our MDX and getting out of the Acura line altogether!

I don’t know where to start or what to say about my most recent car buying experience with Hertrich Acura. I can say that this was absolutely hands down one of my best, if not my best car buying experience I have had! Our salesman was Shaun Clark. I can’t say enough about him! He was absolutely AMAZING! Since we live 45 miles away from the dealership, I wanted to touch base with someone in the showroom regarding a preowned vehicle before making the trip. Shaun was the one who reached out to me regarding my online inquiry. He was very professional, nice and informative. During the day we communicated about the new vehicle and our trade in. After communicating with him via phone and text throughout the day, we decided to make the journey to the dealership. Shaun immediately greeted us as we walked into the showroom. He had a great vibe and a wonderful smile! Unlike many car salesmen, Shaun was not pushy, overbearing and you could definitely tell he was not feeding us BS! Took the car for a test drive, loved it, looked at some of Acura’s new models and test drive one while we were there. Shaun was patient and very knowledgeable with regards to vehicles. Ultimately my heart was set on the car we drove up there for. Once I said let’s go for it, everything was a breeze! Hertrich Acura gave me an amazing deal on my trade in! I loved the fact that they didn’t haggle! There was no back and fourth between the dealership and us regarding what they were offering us for our trade, which is a definite win in my book! Got a great interest and financing through the bank was cut and dry! No back and forth with pricing as the new car was already set below market. Then we we’re headed to sign all of the paperwork with the Finance Manager Michelle Getty. She was also very amazing! No pressure to purchase any additional add one, although we chose to purchase GAP, which is something we always do. I never could have imagined in a million years that I would be driving the car that I am! I ended up purchasing a 2019 Mercedes A220 4Matic with 5,991 miles! I have never felt so confident with a car purchase as I did with this one! Thanks again Shaun, Michelle and the rest of the staff at Hertrich Acura for an AMAZING experience and AWESOME car!!!!

Lorenzo is awesome!! Wow, what a night and day experience. My wife and I had such a bad experience at Piazza Acura we decided to see what Hertrich could do. The custom service from Lorenzo and everyone involved was fantastic. Lorenzo and I spent a lot of time going back and forth with phone calls and texts prior to me making the trip to the dealership. I got to the dealership and the car I was thinking about leasing was already pulled up and waiting for me. I felt ZERO pressure to do anything, ZERO annoying sales plays to try and convince me I need to do it now. I leased the 2022 MDX and my wife drove it back to the dealership the next day. Lorenzo made time in his busy day to do the same full car walkthrough with my wife that i got the day before. When getting cars in the future I will now always give Lorenzo a shot at my business.

Purchased a used Honda Pilot here early May. The salesperson that I incidently worked with was Athena. She is professional and respectful.There was zero (well, almost zero negotiating- they gave me 0.012% of the asking price get me).I knew that with any used vehicle there is a risk. The Sales Manager assured me that all of his cars go through the shop - I only sell things that I would sell to family member he says.Yes, the car was cleaned (great detailer) had new tires, brakes and a battery. I was aware that in the next few months a $1400 timing belt job was in the future, but given the market this risk was almost necessary (and the dealership said that the price was market adjusted for this).In the past 6 weeks I am looking at the following repairs:Compass module: failed.Alternator: failedSerpentine belt tensioner: failed.Right axle shaft boot - goobered up with sealant instead of repair.Gosh I hope this thing passes inspection.I am not happy accumulating litany of repairs; predictable - maybe or maybe not. The warranty (1000 miles or 30 days, 50% drivetrain) really isnt worth the effort to argue with them.All in all - the salesperson was great.Buyer Beware.

WOW!!! I just started my search and was pleasantly surprised at the selection and price at Hertrich. I called and spoke to Oeut (Ooot). What a great salesperson. She asked the right questions and listened to my concerns. She gave me options and made my experience wonderful. Their prices are competitive and was worth me driving an hour to get there. She showed me the electronics and how to set them up. (...other salespeople in the past didnt know enough to help me at the time of the sale). Do yourself a favor and go to Hertrich and ask for Oeut.

My Service Rep, Kathryn, went above and beyond when I received a warning message while driving. I brought my car in to be checked and was told that it might be due to servicing I had a week earlier and should go out with my next fill up. However, Kathryn suggested that she have it checked out since I was already there. Low and behold I ended up needing a new part; something completely unrelated to the service I had a week earlier AND it was still covered under my warranty!Thank you Kathryn for being a caring professional as well a pleasure to speak with :)

Scheduled an online appointment for my acura at 8am on a weekday, showed up at 7.55 am, pulled up to the big gates that had a green light, but nothing opened. Nobody around, waited until 8.10am and left. My experience has been that Acura service areas have people even before they open to guide you through, but at this place, not a single soul to be found. Decided to go another Acura not in Delaware but close enough.

There is something fishy going on with the Acura service. After resurfacing the breaks and spending 250$ I had same issue when breaking. I was told “Oh we only did the front breaks, come back and spend 250$ more for rear ones” - they dint even test drive after the diagnosis 🙄. To add to the ongoing saga - I got an error code that now I have electric parking break problem.Been loyal customer since 2015, hardcore Acura fan. But this is just BS. I was asked car year and mileage - Indirectly that’s what it is (I was told indirectly, if you get my point) and now I have to go back and spend 150$ just for diagnostic. Then drop more dough to fix the problem again 😅.It’s not about the money here, it just seems fishy. I might as well go to a neighborhood mechanic. Instead of spending this kind of money on an average job.

If you’re looking to purchase a car I would HIGHLY recommend Lorenzo Hendricks at Acura of New Castle. I purchased my Acura TLX roughly 2 months ago and he has been a saint even still! He pulled up the car i found online before we even arrived at the dealership, and got me right to my ideal payment for a quick and painless sale! He had a hands on demo for every feature, connected my phone and address for easy use, and showed off the “bells and whistles”. The second I walked in the door for service a month later he jumped up from his desk just to simply say hello and ask if he could help in any other way. Today I picked up my tag and again he greeted me with a smile, installed my new tag, answered a question I had, and even offered to look at my tire pressure (no issues just genuinely looking to be helpful). He remembered my career and asked about my job - now THAT is a salesman! I won’t take my business anywhere else as long as Lorenzo is around. I had a wonderful car-buying experience at Hertrich Acura! Yesterday morning I spotted the Acura I was looking for online at the best price yet. And by the afternoon, I drove off in that vehicle! I dealt with Sales Manager Craig throughout the morning. Other dealers lost my business as they didnt respond or stay engaged online, but Craig made me feel like I was his only customer in the month of June. When I got to the dealership, I dealt with Oeut who was fantastic. Horrible experience. I went to get my car serviced there and it was the worst experience. First of all it took almost 3 hours to get done. Then when I asked for a tire rotation i was told i would be charged 1,200 or more for it. I went down the street to another place and i was only charged the correct price. Then, when i looked at my tires i saw that they had different air valve caps on all 4 of them. I just purchased new ones and put them on not even 2 weeks ago. They really have to go that low???????? i wont be going back there EVER. I would rather take my Acura to Honda. They have MUCH BETTER service!

The buying experience was fine. Their communication was on point and quick. However, I was very skeptical about buying a used RAM as the last one I owned, the motor went bad in at 140k miles. The sales person assured me that we would not have any issie with this truck. That RAMS were built better now and this truck only had one owner before us and they took great care of it. Its been 4 months and the motor just had an issue. It now needs a new camshaft and 16 new lifters. The repair costs will be over $2,500. I called and spoke With the manager to see if theres anything they can do to help in this situation and they have basically washed their hands. No way would I ever buy from here again, or send any family or friends to this dealership.They do not care about their customers like other dealerships do!!!

While the salesman and buying experience was generally smooth, Ive been far less impressed with the customer service since driving out of the dealership. The communication (especially from the title department) was poor. I refinanced immediately after the purchase with the same bank who offered me a lower rate. Apparently dealerships are allowed to increase the percentage rate to help pad their pockets despite their assurance I was getting the best rate available ( I have a credit score of nearly 850)! Please be truthful with your customers.

We were traveling to New Jersey from Virginia when our Sonata encountered some trouble. Made it to Hertrich and Joe Grillo talked us through everything and even though we had to leave the car there, we felt comfortable about it. He continually kept us up to date with the repair status and helped us get into a rental. He was fantastic throughout the whole process. What can I say, 5 stars service. Seriously, it was a great experience dealing with Ty and Craig. Ty is an awesome salesperson, after being blown off by one of the Hyundai salesmen, she spend the morning test driving cars with my wife and I. No pressure, just professional salesmanship. They both were eager to answer any questions or concerns I had, showed me a breakdown of different payment options, and stayed in contact by email and phone just to make sure I was still in the market since they didnt want me to lose out on this great deal of a car I had my heart set on. Craig is a great manager, answering all of my detailed financial questions and working with me to get the best price possible that fit my budget. I had a decent experience purchasing the car but the service department is sometimes disorganized. Scheduling is not always super easy. If you resort to the online application it doesn’t work properly. The service coordinators have improved and Will was very efficient and attentive. The new waiting area is great!! Also I’ve been trying to purchase all weather mats for a year. I still don’t have them. I do love my Acura! Acura makes a great product.

The folks at Hertrich were able to quickly diagnose a sporadic electrical problem that had persisted for over a year. Other places attempted to replace battery/alternator to little avail. Hertrich found the problem (shorting in a non-Hyundai remote starter motor) and were able to address it at a very reasonable cost. We have been driving the vehicle for weeks without a single problem which is a welcome change to what we had been dealing with for the past year. A big shout-out to Donna (my service adviser) who kept me informed of the status of the vehicle while it was in the shop in a timely manner, even using her own cell phone when there was a problem with the phone lines. Optional service items were also discussed and the one that I approved prevented another, almost certain, problem from occurring in the future.

I cannot believe I am writing a review about how pleasant my car buying experience was at Hertrich Acura.I had to buy a new car because my previous car was totaled. Shaun (Salesman) took the time to explain every feature of the car I took for a test drive. He also called my insurance company to assist with my new insurance. Finally, Shaun followed me to drop off my rental car and brought me back to the dealership. He walked me through the process to set up my Sirius, Bluetooth, etc.Rob (Finance Manager) and Chris (Manager) both provided great service. I recently purchased a certified preowned 2017 Acura TLX at this dealership. I had been in the market to upgrade from a VW Jetta. Previously I had owned a 2008 Acura TL that was probably the best vehicle Ive ever owned.The entire buying process went extremely smoothly. Lorenzo was my salesperson and he was amazing from the initial point of contact in early March when I was exploring the option, to my purchase on April 11th. The actual process was extremely rapid as on April 10th I had decided to explore the option of purchasing now as opposed to later in the year closer to Fall. Between credit application, negotiations, paperwork signing, and delivery it was all taken care of in less than 3 hours over Friday the 10th and Saturday the 11th.I have to say that everyone was extremely helpful and professional and this was the easiest and least painful car buying experience Ive ever had. I have been buying cars for over 50 years and I have never encountered a dealership culture so focused on the customer. There was no hard selling!
