One of my favorite locations. Staff is usually very friendly and helpful. Everything is usually where it is supposed to be and the product isn’t damaged or mishandled. Have had numerous great service experiences here

The fact that you wait in line at self checkout, only to get up to the front and be told you cant use EBT there is bullcrap. Not only that, but then if you get out of that line you have to go stand in another line 20 deep because they only ever have 2 normal registers open. I go through self checkout to get in and out quick, not to have to wait another hour for my purchases.If you use EBT dont even bother weekly (or monthly) food shopping here until they get their act together.

Love the cleanliness and organization of the store. its bright and easy to find things, layout doesnt change drastically so I always know where to find stuff. store brand and collabs with other designers are amazing. honestly myself and numerous friends of mine joke about not being able to go in for just the one thing we need. its a great store.

Easy to order, Order filled in about two hours, easy as pie pickup using the app. I wish they had more variety, but that doesnt diminish the quality of the service in any way!

Came into today to exchange something I bought from a different Target (on the same day).. I had a receipt and my Target card that I used.. I was told I would have to go back to the other Target to return it.. since it was purchased the same day.. I bought the item tho I couldnt exchange it.. what a hassle.. never heard of this before..now it will just sit in my car until I make it back..

Worst customer service EVER! No one seems to want to assist customers at the checkout when items are missed marked. I thought it was required that items were to be charged as marked. Clearly there is a disconnect and problem with the management and training in this store. I would recommend going elsewhere.

Target had an offer you spend $100 on certain products you get $20 gift card. i spent up to $100 i asked about gift card they said sorry we cant give you one contact customer service. this wasnt the first time it happened . i contacted customer service they said that the receipt number shows i spent $50. thats messed up. they couldnt offer anything to me. this is almost $70 worth of money back and im not asking for much

You Can Always Find What You Need.

The store itself was clean and I had no problem finding what I went there for. The problem came at the register. Worst employee I have encountered in a long time. Not friendly at all. I bought 6 gift cards and when I went to pay I asked for receipts for the gift cards in case they dont work. She said too late. Cant do it now and looked at the person behind me and said need bags. Very rude and I wont be back to that store any time soon.

The convenience of being able to pick up same day without scheduling a time is great! It was quick and convenient. Paid for everything in the app so I basically pulled up and to pick up my stuff. The employee came out with my order before I even pulled into a parking space. This service is very quick, free and the best part, no contact! I just popped open my trunk, got my stuff loaded and took off. Definitely recommend.

Great variety for one stop shopping

Came to pick up an item that the website said they have. Not only did they not have it but theyre horribly understaffed and the fella in electronics was particularly rude at first saying hell go check after helping the person he was with. Then proceeded to help 3 other people before remembering to help me. Seriously disappointed in this target.

The worst target. Empty shelves or otherwise a mess. It looks like an overstock warehouse. The food on their shelves is past expiration.

I just read the store manager at this location denied police officers store access for their annual back to school stuff the patrol car intended to bless local school children. To say this is shameful is an understatement. This person needs more schooling to learn how to separate his personal feelings, the need for positive corporate community presence, and the professional behavior we all expect from a store manager!! Grow up dude!!

I can what I need almost all of the time at Target, the stores are clean and most of the time the staff is friendly and helpful. And as youre paying your people more I feel good contributing to the success of the business by shopping in the stores.

Target has good products at good prices. The cashier manning the self-checkout was great! I didnt really interact with her, but I did see her interact with the other customers. She was patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I didnt catch her name, but she should get some recognition for doing a really great job!

They are always on time and so friendly when the target worker brings your items to your car.

Target Store Waterford- sold Xbox Series X on 11/18 and missed out.Trumbull Store sold Xbox Series X on 11/19.Southington Store sold Xbox Series X on 11/19.My story: I was 4th in line on 11/19/2020 at this store and the manager came out at around 7:15am and said even though they had 14 in stock, they will not sell and that the other stores should not be selling the Xbox Series Xs in store. That we should purchase online (even though it says online orders are sold out- she said to keep trying) even though the website says you can purchase in store after 11/11/2020.So, I went to Southington Store hoping to buy one of the 10 they had in stock, but I was too late by the time I got there after wasting time in New Britain. Also, the manager in Southington said they should be selling if they are in stock. It is only the PS5 that is not available for in store sales. When I looked on the stock finder again while in Southington it said New Britain had 0 in stock, if they werent able to sell them how did it go from 14 to 0.Shady practices at this store. They have the stock, they should sell just like the other Target Stores in the area.

Everytime I come to this location I always regret it. Poor customer service, they dont price match even though they have a policy for it, called corporate several times to report issues in the store and nothing seems to change. I have gone to pretty much every Target in CT and have never had an issue like here. Dont give this location your business or money.

This is my to go to target and it’s pretty good no problems all I have to say is that this place rarely stocks shelf’s I mean never I went a couple months ago to get some chocolate milk and it was there and then 3 months later they finally stock up it’s insane but yeah like I said this place is pretty good just come prepared to make it a quick stop because they rarely stick up here

This is my favorite Target. I live about 10 minutes away and I go to this one all the time. I am still a Walmart ride or die but I must say, if I go to a Target it’ll be this one. And theres a girl named Keyara that helps me when I come to the store. Shes the best.

Associate was pleasant and the wait time was very quick.

The shelves are always empty. Its like the store never restocks! Milk cooler was almost empty, the meat and produce coolers were almost empty. There were NO nipples for baby bottles at all which is the main reason I even went there, so I ended up ordering on Amazon. Baby section is consistently poorly stocked, except for diapers and food. Beauty section has entire empty shelving units. This store is terrible!

Don’t even think you will save time by buying online and picking up in store - it is one counter for order pickup/customer service and returns with one employee working there so it takes FOREVER and other employees ignore the line and don’t help. I am done with target terrible customer service this is one of the worst ones I have been to.

This Target is a complete dump. They recently remodeled it which is NOT an improvement. Layout makes no sense and the store is always, always, always in complete disarray. Employees wandering the store doing nothing when they could be straightening up. Looked for some Fluff, was told it was in a aisle I was just in, employee redirected me rudely to the same aisle where, guess what? No Fluff!! Not even a spot for it to be stocked, she insisted it was there. Lines at the register 4+ people deep with only 5-6 registers open the week before Christmas. I dont think they get the concept of retail! I will NEVER come back to this dung heap of a store!

Go in there and look for 10 items and only find 5. And don’t think about checking the app to see if it’s available at this location because 8 out of 10 times it’s incorrect. The other locations are better with stock.

This target is really nice and I love what they have to offer! Ive never seen such a big target before and their beauty and cosmetics section is especially nice!

Came for return and lady works there wanted to wait for Electronics guy to verify and she just said to colleague that’s fine customer will wait until you come and verify which she can do as well, that’s just a one piece item which anyone can verify with bill and she doesn’t want to open box n verify. Thanks to her for wasting my half hr time and left without giving return. Finally returned next day at closing time.

This is a nice place to shop and they have all the things you need. Although a little bit expensive compared to Wal-Mart but they have quality stuff. I went here on black Friday and they had nice deals and they are not too crowded. So its a nice experience shopping here.

This store is neat and clean, and usually well-maintained. The employees do a very good job of keeping everything organized- I dont think Ive ever seen piles of clothing tossed onto a shelf or display, or merchandise strewn about all over the floor.I always feel like the pricing is very fair here, theres usually a good inventory of items, and you can also get groceries here if you need to. Employees have always been friendly and helpful. The one drawback, and subtraction of one star, is because they usually dont have a lot of registers open for checkout, and you usually end up waiting a few minutes to check out at one of the few cashiers that are actually open. The store is usually well lit, and theres usually no issues with parking here.

Quick and easy for us to get to. Always has everything we need. The store is kept clean and the employees are always knowledgeable and helpful. Plus i love getting good deals using the cartwheel app! Now that they opened self checkout, its much easier to just run in and out, and the lines arent as long!

Love the drive up feature. As a mom of infant twins this is a life saver. Fast, convenient, and easy.

Their store is better than Wal Mart because it is much cleaner. Also the sales associates are a lot more professional here at Target. But the one thing they still need to improve on is making sure there is enough help! Often when I shop here there arent enough sales associates on the floor to help customers.

The store may look a bit better after the remodeling, but its usually very messy by the end of the day (Im not sure its even neat when they open, sometimes). It almost seems as if theyre understaffed, which is funny because they have no problem finding someone to track suspicious people around the store. Im an indecisive and awkward person who alternates between driving and using public transit (this target is also not pedestrian friendly/easy to access for anyone traveling by bus) not a shoplifter, Target.

A good selection of groceries, but of course it isnt necessarily everything on my list. Its convenient to be able to shop for everything on my to-do list and to be able to grab a Starbucks and fill a prescription. Sometimes the shoe department can be a bit chaotic and unorganized and certain beauty aisle shelves look bare, but generally a reliable place to go and most prices are right. If you use the Cartwheel app, you can get a super bargain! Ive saved a lot of money that way.

The store manager doesnt like the police, maybe he should leave his personal opinions at home and act like a manager .

I want to like this Target bc its the closest one to me but its ALWAYS a mess! The kids/baby section is especially bad- always in a disarray and under stocked.Its a hit or miss with customer service... half the time the employees are really cheerful and helpful while the other half of the time they are either nowhere to be found or just miserable.I would shop here more if it werent such a disappointing experience 80% of the time.

Excellent customer service

I feel like this target is typically understaffed at the registers. Usually only a few lanes open and the lines to check out grow quickly. Would really like to see some self checkout stations to help get you out quicker.

Nice target that has everything youd expect a Target to have. The entrance/exit to the parking lot is a bit weird. Ive been here a few times and it almost always seems to me that theres only one or two cash registers open.

I’m a new Spanish teacher and I was looking for a laminator machine that I know you have it because I looked online and an employee name Javi helped me to find it and he was so nice and I felt so happy and another employee got me a cart because my hands were full of items. All of the employees were so nice and welcoming to me! I felt so happy!!! I will coming back for sure!!! Thank you for been so awesome and spread courtesy and good vibe to your customers!!!

Theyve really done well with the new changes in the store. Ive got my favorite cashiers, but everyone is very helpful. This is one of my favorite Targets.

This is a huge store. Honestly, I have never been through the whole store because I go for the Optical department. I buy my glasses and frames there instead of my optometrist because the prices are much better for the same brand names, like Coach, RayBan, Vogue, etc. They take my insurance and I believe they have good deals for people without insurance as well. I need progressive lenses which are expensive and I save about $300 on my glasses and prescription sunglasses buying at Target instead of doctors office. The place is kept spotless and the employees are friendly & knowlegable. They never rush you either. They really work with you to find the best frames for the best price. They will even try different options within your insurance and their program in order to get you a good deal. My family and I have been going there for years because that type of service deserves loyalty.

The store was clean and well stocked. My only issue was that that there was no urgency for the cashier to check me out. He moved slow and unenthusiastic. I am not asking for the speed of light but I have 4 young kids and hustle would be appreciated by me and the people who were behind me in line.

It was easy and simple, the only problem was the line was very long and would have been nice to have them open another register.

Today, I experienced one of the most disgusting things I could have ever imagined. Earlier this evening, I called the Target New Britain branch to check if they had the Medela Expression Bustier in stock. The Target representative I spoke with informed me that they had 2 on the shelves. I had my husband run to the store to purchase some diapers and the bustier. I was most disappointed when I opened the package and realized that this was a used, filthy, dirty bustier with what looked like dried breastmilk on it. What made me even more disgusted was that I opened the package of this dirty bustier with my newborn in my arms.I immediately called the branch to ask how this could have happened. The Target representative had the nerve to ask if I wanted a new bustier. I was so shocked by her question. Why would I wish to purchase a used bustier? I asked her if Target sold used products because I was not aware of this. I became even more upset when I learned that the price listed online was $28.49 but my husband bought it in store for $39.99 plus tax and yet it was a used product. Just recently, my husband picked up a container of formula from this same store and it was already opened. Similarly, I had to send him back to the store to exchange the formula. I can’t even blame him for not checking the bustier this time because he was of the belief that the package was brand new and unopened.I’m beyond annoyed and extremely disappointed with this kind of service. My advice to everyone is to never shop at Target New Britain without examining their products thoroughly.

I just had the best phone service in a very long time in retail!!!! Today at about 3:30 pm I called Target in New Britain and asked to speak to the kids apparel associate I forgot the name but need less to say he was the best he got the call and quickly looked up the item with me and then because he did not have it available he put me on hold to see if he had any PJ mask items for a show Im taking my girls to this Sunday. So after like maybe 5 minutes he returns to the phone w not 2 but 4 items two of each like I had asked him. Before he put me on hold I had asked him to get me 2 of what ever he had in the sizes I needed and he did more then that he returned with more then I expected he blow my mined on how fast and efficient his work was Im impressed. Not even Walmart can pull something like that GO NEW BRITAIN TARGET EMPLOYEES!!!

Strange placement of products. Each Target should mimic each other. I dont feel that health and beauty belong 6 feet away from produce, but thats just my preference. I found it extremely hard to find anything I needed, or an employee that cared to help. Wont be returning, I will drive the extra distance to go to Southington

Worst target I’ve been to. Not only is everything extremely unorganized, the place is an absolute mess. Not a single shopping cart when I walked in (mind you, the store wasn’t even the least bit busy at the time). Parts of the store look like they’d been hit by a tornado. It looked as if the employees hadn’t tidied the place up in ages. Items were also frequently stocked incorrectly, labels not matching up to the correct product, making it a total puzzle trying to figure out prices. The majority of clearance racks didn’t even have any stickers on them. I have never seen a target in such poor shape and I’ve been a customer for years at various other locations.

Target has good items their brands are up and up archer farms and market pantry. Target stores select locations are open Monday-Saturday 8am-11pm and Sunday 8am-10pm and other Target stores are open Monday-Saturday 8am-10pm and Sunday 8am-9pm.

Everything went as planned. Very quick pick up.
