Have been renting here for a year and my space has increased from$200 to $385 monthly. They claim it is market rate, I think it is usury when you have to have the storage. Decent place and the tenets around me are friendly enough.

Brenna is awesome! What excellent customer service! Patience, kind and extremely helpful! She showed me seversl units and put the one I was interested in on hold for me. When I came back about a week later to sign up, it had already been rented out but she found a better one and only charged me the for the one she quoted me.

Man compared to the last managers, the current manager (Brenna) is super helpful! Im glad I stayed with this place and not Public Storage! (Pub. Storage almost auctioned off my unit!!!) OH! AND its way cleaner than it used to be, crazy how good management and team skills change a place and its vibe! Everyones very polite both on the phone and at the desk too now! Overall I would reccomend this place to anyone, I am quite impressed by the improvements they have made!

Very safe place to store things and the customer service is amazing where they are personable but still professional. The only problem I had was one of them telling me that management said I was in and out of there to often which made me confused since its a storage place and should have been told there was a limit so I could have went somewhere else. This still hasnt been resolved other than I dont feel like going there now and going to look for somewhere else unless this is addressed to me and resolved. I really didnt need extra stress during this time in my life when Im going through looking for a place to live already. Control freaks of the world need to remember that when you put any kind of FORCE you end up getting RESISTANCE.

From the first time walking into this establishment it has been nothing less of a wonderful experience...Every employee is beyond helpful and caring..I couldn’t imagine having my valuables anywhere else.

I did not rent space here so this is just a review of my experience as a potential customer.The site seems fairly well maintained and clean. However, there is confusion and disorganization between website and call center (calls go to a call center, not actual location you are calling) on things like hours of operation and also they dont seem to know the configuration of a given unit until they walk up to it and open the door.The confusion on hours of operation caused us to waste a trip to the site. Ignoring (the conflicting) call center and website info on hours of operation, we went back the next day when local staff said theyd be open and they were. We were there to look at a specific unit I had reserved online - a 10 x 20. When we were shown the unit, it was 10 x 20 but with TWO SMALL 4 wide DOORS with a cement column between them instead of one 10 wide overhead door. As anybody who has moved large objects knows, this is a problem.The sales guy tried to imply that the small door configuration was why the price was so low when in fact the price I reserved at was simply the published price for 10 x 20 units. So instead of apologizing for wasting my time (for the second day in a row), he was trying to make it seem like I was getting a deal. I am very thankful I did not pay at the time I reserved.I offered a chance to make it right by offering me a discount on the strange 2-door 10 x 20 but again the sales guy implied that the price was already reduced (not true) but in any case he said he was not authorized to make such a deal. Poor overall experience. These guys are disorganized and perhaps a bit deceitful.

I was looking for a storage unit as Im trying to organize my house and go through things. I needed to find something quick and when I came in, Mitch took great care of me! He showed me different sized units so I could see them in person. He was super helpful and very respectful. Highly recommend this place!

Simply self storage was really easy to use, and cost effective. The location is clean and organized, a great experience.

Sean and other staff are fantastic to work with. The rental process was easy and they are more than willing to answer any questions. They go above and beyond with customer service and everyone is so kind. I had to change rental units for more space and even then, that process was so simple and they took care of everything so quickly. The area and the units are neat and clean, very well maintained. I would highly recommend anyone to rent here.

We had a pull-up storage unit for just over a month over the summer. We had serious mice infestation in that short amount of time. The mice chewed into several boxes and there were droppings everywhere.I brought this up with the front desk and they just shrugged it off and acknowledged its been a problem. I submitted complaints/questions online in several formats to Simply as well and received no response. I dont expect them to bend over backwards, but a discount or a sincere apology with a plan to prevent future issues at minimum would be nice!

Prior to renting my storage, I shopped around. I found that some of Public Storage was rude(bad cs) also didn’t even want to get up and walk me around to show me the actual units. When I found Simply Storage, Sean was super nice, super helpful and walked me around 3 units. Simply Storage prices were MUCH BETTER than their competitors and their cs was remarkable. I went in looking for a storage solution to fit my needs and budget when I was greeted by a very nice person who assisted me with my purchase. Angela was knowledgeable about the store promotions and offers that allowed me price reduction by almost 3/4 of the original cost. She was very kind and pleasant in expressing those offers that they Simply Self Storage had to present, that made my day. It was the best quality service that a storage could give! This is the place to rent storage space from as nice neighbors & dog friendly environment as I also love the nature life nearby my unit! Very helpful friendly staff as Mitch goes out of his way to provide whatever you need!! I have a very nice & clean climate controlled unit that has easy, safe & secured access with trendy lock. I even have access to a bathroom onsite with water fountains!! Simply Self Storage in New Brighton is also very conveniently just located off 35WN/W County Road E2. We decided to use simply self storage in December and January because we were moving.I can’t express how difficult it’s been to load in and out of the climate controlled units as the snow and ice is almost never removed. I have included pictures below of the one person on staff on his phone with a shovel literally next to him and all of the entrances to the building are covered in snow and ice. This certainly isn’t the first time as I’ve almost fallen five times now.Another frustration are the sliding doors that are attached to the keypad stay open for a total of four seconds. Good luck trying to unload your vehicle when you have to hold 30 & 40 pound boxes while punching in the code and having the door close on you.To be fair the units are clean and seem relatively new. The staff that checked me in did a nice job and was very friendly.

Sean is very attentive and very personable. He makes an effort to know you by name. Very friendly staff over all. Process of making payments is quick and easy. Setting up storage was also an easy process. Pricing is reasonable. Area is current under construction for new buildings to come!

The location of this place is great for us since it is close to 35W and easy to find. After doing research we found it is priced much lower than using the PODS. The best part is the people there have been really friendly and eager to help us. We would definitely recommend it to others!

Ive stored things here for over a decade, personal items for which I had no other storage location. Pushed by necessity I started using Simply Self Storage. In that time period I have never had any kind of a problem. Always easy access, even with snow problems elsewhere, OK here. Friendly, helpful staff. Consistently clean, uncluttered facility. In every respect it has fulfilled my expectations and needs.

Easy to check in and find the proper size. Sean was very helpful. Convenient, good access during lots of hours with the keypad entry. Prices are competitive for what you get.

Never used public storage before and wasnt sure where to start or what I needed. They made it pretty simple, showing me many possibilities. Access to my unit was immediate and has been very easy since.

Great staff but they could communicate better with their prices and not have something saying first month free after purchasing a month but then not be doing it or giving it and charging you for a lock that you where never asked if I needed it and never mentioned I ever needed one. Other then that its a great place .

Please be sure to confirm that they have the storage units with the desired dimensions available, as I went through their website and it confirmed (reserved) that a 10x20 space was available only to learn upon arriving (later that same day) that only 10x30 spaces were left available. Try to avoid getting upsold on dimensions, extra insurance (beyond the required $10/month insurance), and various things. Also theyll get you with a $24 new account administration fee.If you want 24-hour access to your space, you ll have to pay an additional $10/month.From the contract that youll have to sign: If Your Space is not the exact dimensions We say it is You do not have any right to reduce Your rent, receive a refund, or adjustment.To clarify another point of the contract, they are not liable for any damaged/stolen/lost property, regardless of whether it is Out fault or Yours unless Our actions constitute wanton or willful misconduct. So be aware of their extremely limited liability in such circumstances; for instance if the heating or cooling in your space fails, even for extended periods, they are not responsible for any resulting damage.They also WILL NOT promise to clear any snow or ice that is preventing you from accessing your space, We are not liable for your failure to access the facility or your space as a result of any snow or ice accumulation.Another point of the contract is that the monthly rent may change at any time, We may send You notices of changes in the terms of this Rental Agreement (including changes in the monthly rent). If You continue to use the Space after We send You notice of a change in the terms, it means that You agree to and accept the change(s).The contract seems especially egregious in declaring that you assume liability for their workers in the event that you ask them to help with anything and they get injured in the course of helping you, In the event You request any of Our employees to perform services for You it shall be done to Your own risk as Your agent(s) regardless of whether payment is made for the service(s).In conclusion:Be very wary of the points of the contract; I was surprised by them but had run out of time with which to investigate another storage company before starting my job overseas. Horrible customer service. We were harrassed by the store manager, Sean Moran, and told You cant do things daily in your storage unit. That was obviously a false statement, per Simply Storage policies, and NEVER did we recieve an apology for such rude behavior, or the false statement that was made. I would highly suggest looking elsewhere for your storage needs.
