I bought a car here about 4-5 years ago. They charged me on the low end of Kelly Blue Book, and let me take the car for the day to be inspected by a 3rd party. Car runs like a dream, have never had a single problem with it. Would absolutely buy from them again.

I bought a beautiful Ford Fusion from Motors 88 two years ago and put an extended warranty on my vehicle, which I’m glad they did!My engine went out with 83k and it was covered. Great guys, went out of their way to help me with two separate vehicles after an issue with the first vehicle. Calling them is a little confusing however. I expected “hello motors 88” and they answer quickly “finance office” which kind of throws a guy off. Other than that great guys! Would reccomend.

Filled out a finance application though a local car sales company and motors88 (First Source Financial) pulled my credit report but then never gave a response, I received no letter stating approval or denial, not sending this letter is against the law so who knows what other shady business they do. I ended up with an inquiry on my credit report and this place will not respond to any of my requests.

I got in touch with Judd here and he was nothing but helpful. Found me exactly the truck I was looking for and made it a simple and smooth buying process. Definitely recommend

I had seen a Jeep Commander Sport for $2000 less at this dealer vs another dealer I had test drove two at. So to begin the test drive went well with the person I was working with. She was very respectful and friendly. However the tire pressure light was on for the first part of the ride. That was a small issue given she told me why. But then the engine light had come on at the stop light next to walgreens. By the time I had driven back to the dealer, I let the woman know that the vehicle had overheated. And that the warning message said that the transmission overheated. The commander wouldnt shut off. Chrisy told me to press the brake and it should shut off. I was surprised that she new how to deal with this type of situation. And I was also shocked that this dealer would allow test driving of the vehicle without inspecting and servicing it. There were also marks on the body as if there was damage to the passenger side, which wasnt mentioned by the time I left. I was told Id receive a call that afternoon... 2 days and so far have not received a call back. Which was a blessing in itself because my husband and I were approved for a loan at another dealership. And drove home our 07 Jeep Commander that we are absolutely happy with today.

I found my current car through CarGurus and was skeptical at first to go through Motors88 since they were not one of the well established Minnesota dealerships. I arranged a test drive, and upon arriving to their office at 550 County Road D West in New Brighton I was greeted by Judd in a really modern office which they share with First Source Financial. I got to know that they are a family owned and operated business and the car I was looking at was obtained at an auction in Chicago upon expiry of a 3 year lease. Car had low mileage and was priced significantly below market price, so I was convinced there must be something wrong with it. I asked Judd if I can arrange pre-purchase inspection with a mechanic at an independent dealership and service, to which Judd wholeheartedly agreed and even delivered the car there himself during lunch hour. Upon thorough inspection, mechanic did not find any issues aside from car needing an oil change and new tires soon. I decided to finance my car through them, instead of a bank since I did not have much credit history (being a year out of college) and my application was approved by the credit union they work with at at a very competitive APR. I decided to opt out of their extended warranty program, although that is an option they offer too, and as their customer you can purchase tires at a whole sale prices at a local dealer. Overall, they went out of their way to meet with me, seemed very knowledgeable about the car (which wasnt the case at the two well known Minnesota dealerships) and were willing to meet my financial budget. I would definitely recommend them as I felt that my purchasing experience was much more personal and tailored towards my needs, than at the other renowned dealerships I visited.
