Had Dave go through the head on my 91 Mazda Miata. After evaluating the head he thoroughly described what he found and recommended a course of action. This included recognizing that the head had been machined before and incorrectly assembled. Totally trustworthy and provided the replaced parts for inspection. I wouldnt hesitate to bring him other work.It is also clear from his shop that others feel the same way. Many heads waiting to be picked up and others waiting to be repaired.

Had a 3sgte 4 cyl. Bored/Decked and had the cylinder head resurfaced. Very knowledgeable! They got it done in a timely manner as other shops were months out on work. Price wasnt bad and everything looks great will be coming back for any future work!

These fellows helped me out with my Honda Odyssey heads after a broken timing belt. They were tolerant of my newbie questions and price seemed reasonable. Repairs were completed on time. Everything went back together as it was supposed to and moms van is running like a hot damn.

I have had machine work done by Dave, and it fits correctly. his pricing is competitive. Even if the cost is a little more,it is worth it because you only have to assemble the unit once.Thats what makes his an excellent machine shop.

Metro Engine has machined two blocks and four heads for my Subarus. The quality of work is unbeatable. There is plenty of other Subaru enthusiasts that have experience with them as well, and I have yet to hear of any complaints of the work done. Im glad I found a shop I can trust!

I received prompt service with lots of helpful advice. I dropped off a cylinder head to get machined and pressure tested. The Metro Engine crew got things nice and flat and installed the new crank seal for me and removed a stuck exhaust stud. I also received helpful tips for reinstall (Im a DIY mechanic working on my first head gasket replacement). Great work at a great price. Add this to your list for machine shop needs.

Dropped off a pair of 2006 Subaru 2.5i heads to get rebuilt following a broken timing belt. Dave had the experience and knew the tricks to make sure I ended up with a pair of heads that worked 100%. I have been working with this company for a number of years now and thought it would time to give a good and bad review.dave is the owner and machinist on site and has been for many years. he is the type of person that will never let a job out of the door unless it is 100% and up to his code of professionalism (which is way above any other shop i have used). he is only one man however so the time that things take is a little more than his competators, however it is well worth the wait. i have not had a chance to test his skills on older engines like 1970s and older, but there is quite a few that i always see him working on. if you want a shop that will do your subaru, honda, toyota, mazda, or any other import, this is the place!
