I had a walk-in bathtub installed. It is the best investment in the house I have made. It was a custom tub that they took perfect measurements on the first time, installed in one day, and were professional and completed the job on time. There was no mess or dust, they cleaned everything up so you would never know they had been in tearing out the whole section of the bathroom and rebuilding it. I highly recommend Mad City!

I had Mad City complete the Shower/Tub and Window in my homes main bathroom. The turnout is outstanding! My house is over 100 years old, meaning I had a feeling something could be behind the walls that is costly to repair and replace. So I loved that Mad City does not add costs if something is found that they were not accounting for. The price you get at the bid is the price you pay, regardless of what pops up when the walls come down! It was done in one day, service was amazing, and the quality is primo!!!! I highly recommend!!!!!

Overall very happy with the shower upgrade. The salesman was really Salesy and appeared shifty with the numbers. The installer was amazing! Hard worker. City licenses all completed. Plumbing inspector arrived and made sure it was all up to code! I love the outcome, but had to cut down on wants due to high prices. I would recommend a ceiling panel to completely enclose the shower. Love the product. Overall, A+ rating!

The qualify of the materials used were excellent, and we are very happy with our new tub, surround, and shower. The workers were honest and owned up to a mistake that they made. However...communication was challenging. We needed to call multiple times to get times set up (not their fault that materials were backordered...covid) and often our calls were not returned. If communication was better Id give them a 5 star review, but the extra time it took was time we did not have.

Mad City removed our old tub and shower and put in a very nice shower and surround. The work was done in 2 days as promised. The shower looks great and is so easy to keep clean. We hope to have another installed soon.

I contracted for a kitchen remodel and Larry did an excellent job! He did great work and explained everything he was doing. Everything is perfect, modernized and a fantastic color and Im so happy with Larry and Mad City.

Mad city was absolutely fantastic to work with from the door to door sales members to the installers. I’ve had a few questions after they were installed and the were extremely helpful and quick with a response. We had problems trying to afford to pay for our windows and multiple mad city members worked with us to make sure we got our old rotten wood windows out of our home and safe new ones for us and our kids. They worked with us to pay for them! It is worth it! At least take a chance and get a free quote!

Within the first hour that the crew arrived I could tell they were knowledgeable and hard working. No standing around talking or taking breaks! By the end of the work day they had removed eleven windows and placed the new ones. They left the area without a scrap of metal or wood to be seen. The next day was rainy and I was informed early that no work could be done. Day 3, and one worker came to do the outside trim. Another joined him later in the afternoon. They had everything finished and cleaned up by the end of the work day.The windows are wonderful; easy to raise and lower, easy to pull out for cleaning the outside glass. This was everything I had hoped for. My advice: dont go mad with windows that leak cold air, are difficult to raise and lower and are not attractive. Instead, call Mad City to arrange for someone to come and tell you everything you need to know about buying windows and give you an estimate!

I am unsure how this company has great reviews but it is the worst work I have ever had performed. I had to clean up after them everytime they came. I have holes in my drywall, tile, and the fixtures dont seem to be attached. The fixtures move on the shower. Also, they did not change the plumbing but charge for it. The company is non responsive. I have called numerous times and they will not call back. I would post pictures of the loose fixtures but it will not let me attach video. Also, when you run the bath it also comes out of the shower nozzle at the same time. Yeah, I could have hired a big box store to do a better job.Update- if you notice they reply to all my reviews about reaching out or that they will call me. This company returns zero calls and never reaches out. Mad city just wants to look good on the review but never actually follows up.Update 3/18/21-this is more than one week after I originally posted. I still have not received a call; however, the loan people ask us if the work is done and we tell them the problems. The loan company then reaches out to mad city and they say it is done. This company wants the money but will not call to fix these issues. If you people choose this company then good luck. If this company cant return a call, do you really think they will back the warranty down the road? I already have cracks in the caulking so Im sure that will be eventual water damage.

Windows were installed 4 years ago and I couldn’t figure out how to remove the screens for cleaning. Service Technician Marshall came to my home yesterday to try and instruct me how to remove them. He was very patient and helpful. Very knowledgeable and very nice young man.

I will NEVER do business with or recommend mad city to anyone I know. 6 months into a one day install and Im still waiting for a date to be set to expect materials that were supposed to have been ordered in May. No calls ever get returned, no employees hold up on their word or last more than 6 weeks it seems. 0/10, run away fast.

Mad City did an amazing job putting my windows in. They were on time and were very fast putting them in. I have used this company for several project on my house and will do tine to use them for future jobs.Bryan Mohoric

I had bathroom/ shower installation done. They were supposed to also to my trim around my windows and patio. They didnt have the right materials so they said they would come back at a later date. The guy who installed my bathroom/ shower did a excellent job. But now it have been 7/8 months and I havent heard from them about my trim. I try calling customer service and no call back. I cant believe it so hard to get a hold of someone for answers. Not a good way to treat customers.

The installment crews were fine. My issue is that the salesman did not tell me that with this type of window replacement there would be less glass surface and much more trim. I bought my house for the view of the river. These windows restrict that view. My other issue is that the screens are flimsy. They are some kind of fabric mesh. I have 2 cats and am afraid that the screens will not hold up. I don’t know if there were other options for the screens. I was never shown a screen beforehand and did not think to ask.

We had a picture window installed. From the salesperson to final installation it was a good experience. We love our new window.

We used them for our bath tub. We had poor install, waited months between “fixing” the issue. Several missed install dates that took off of week for. Our one day install caused us to take 7 days off of work and 7-8 months. It was so bad that we had to cover a beautiful stain glass window that was a highlight of our bathroom. Zero recovery... didn’t even apologize for changing the look of our bathroom. Now we have what appears from the outside a boarded up window. I have pictures. Not good. Now our son used them against our recommendations. He had much of the same issues. He lost work as well. Materials made incorrectly, took days to install and not one day. Canceled install dates. No customer service at all.

Installers were meticulous in their work, and very careful to not damage interior of home or landscaping outside. Besides windows, we had Mad City remove a tub and surround and replace.

Had all our windows replaced earlier this year and it really brightened up our house. Communication was awesome and installation crew was on time and did a great job cleaning afterwards.

Had Mad City remove a tub and put in a walk in shower for my handicapped mother who moved in with us. They did such a nice job and Cesar, the installer was wonderful to work with and cleaned up like he was never there. I would use them again when I have the need.

UPDATE: Suddenly after I posted these, my windows became available and they were able to install them quickly. However, the installers took HUGE chunks out of my trim and didnt caulk my front picture window. Its been FOUR WEEKS and its still not fixed (see pictures). They sent someone out yesterday but he didnt have the right pieces. I immediately called to schedule another appointment to have someone come out and was told Anna the scheduler would call me back but I have yet to hear from her....Another update: Sent out the supervisor, Brandon, last week Tuesday - He said Id get a call later that week to schedule a day for the trim to be fixed. Its been an entire week and no phone call.My front bushes were also demolished and now well need to be doing landscaping to replace them all once the snow melts.Such a disappointment. Communication is terrible. Was told Id have my windows mid-December. Now its 2 days away from February and I still have no windows. Ive called multiple times and all Im told is that they havent shipped. I have received ONLY TWO voicemails since October and when I call back, no one answers. Each supervisor says they cant help when I call to escalate, and no one has reached out to me directly to address customer service issues.

The purchase experience was easy, informative, and professional. The installer arrived promptly and installed both windows expertly. He was very friendly and was very tidy with his work. Everything was cleaned up very well when he was done. I was impressed with the entire process.

They did a great job on my main bathroom shower remodel. It went from a tub to a stand alone shower. There were 3 visits - a sales call where I discussed what product I wanted to purchase (the salesman was great), a measurement visit where someone came out to take exact measurements of the room, and the install day. Installation was a one day event, which was great that it went that quickly. The workers were all really nice. They checked with me a couple times throughout the day about their progress. And they did a great job cleaning up after it was done. I just had to wait a day before using the shower, but since then its been great.

I got a new walk-in shower and it was a great experience. They walked me though everything, told me what add-ons werent really going to make a difference, and made sure I could afford what I wanted. They were very respectful and knowledgeable. Would absolutely go with them again should I change anything else in my house. Oh, and the whole installation/removal of what I already had took less than ten hours.

We have used Mad City for two projects now and have been happy with end results. Our patio door went in without any issues and looks great. We also had our bath tub replaced. We had one issue with a manufacturers defect with the tub and Mad City stood behind the work and made it right. Overall, have been happy with them and would recommend them.

We had 4 very large custom windows replaced in our kitchen and a 4 lite bow window replacer in our living room. Also a small bathroom window. We are very pleased with all of these windows. Don’t use Mad City no matter how good the value seems. We hired them to do a bath/shower remodel and it took over 3 months for them to complete the job. And that was after waiting several months for them to even begin. The biggest problem was that they couldn’t provide the shower glass that we wanted. And then there was never anyone to easily speak to with any service issues. Leaving messages went no where. We finally ordered the shower glass elsewhere. We finally were able to use our new shower and then noticed that it was leaking. They never pulled a building permit, as promised, and later found out that they don’t use accredited plumbers either. It was a real frustration working with them! Once it was all done, I sent a long email to a member of management. His response was almost laughable. No apology or compensation of any kind for our trouble. Do Not Use Them!!

Sales team will try to sell you on anything and then when you installers, they’ll tell you that they are not allowed to do it.Left the water on and then left and water seat from the kitchen down to our basement.now Plummer can’t install the sink because they weren’t left the materials to do so .We are going a week or more with out water on our kitchen DON’T DO IT GUYS

Our sales man Aaron was very professional and knowledgeable . During his presentation of the products he took the time and explained each item explicitly. After the windows were ordered, they were installed on one of the coldest days of the year and several inches of snow. The workers were polite and very professional and never complained of the weather. The job they performed was awsome! I would highly recommend Mad City. They also refaced our kitchen cabinets. Awesome job again. I tell my husband all the time that it feels like we are in somebody elses house.

I got my kitchen cupboards refinished. Salesperson said Ill have done mid may. He said it would take 2 days maybe half day on 3rd. I didnt get until end of July. When installed took 4 days. The installer chiped my counter top plus plus 7 cupboards where measured wrong and 1 drawer was way to big and 1door was put upside down. They had order all new doors said a week it was longer. Im not ever going through them again. I love my cupboards

Be careful - We hired Mad City for a kitchen cabinet refacing project. The project started in February 8, 2021 and was completed June 8, 2021. Poor measurements at initial visit resulted in delays. Communication with the company is nonexistent. Voice mails were unanswered and totally disregarded. When we happened to reach somebody (each time a different person) we had to start explaining problems all over again!! If we hadnt pursued the company every few days, the project still wouldnt be done. The final installer was poor - I had to watch him the entire time - and make corrections! Thank goodness were done with this company!

We had our bathroom surround and tub replaced by madcity. It was done in one day, the team was very kind and and friendly, and they cleaned up after themselves completely. We plan on using them again in the future to replace our windows.

Beware. Incredibly unreliable and hard to contact. Had to make numerous additional visits for forgotten products. Missed/ was late to a majority of scheduled appointments. Installation was sub-par at best. Compared to other installers I had received quotes from they are very expensive. The product quality seems ok, but not worth the price. I would steer clear of Mad City.

Window broke after one day. I then had to help with the repair. After the repair the trim popped off. I had a hard to getting some to reply to my repair request. Repair guy came and didnt fix the trim but managed to break the trim. Took 3weeks for someone to come back out. Then they didnt show. I had to call three times in one day to get someone out. He said someone would call in2-3day to schedule repair. That was 2 weeks ago and still no repair. My father in-law is having a similar issue

We had Mad City install a new bathtub and surround in our main bathroom and a shower unit in our guest bathroom. We contacted four different companies to get quotes and only two called us back, Mad City being one. Their salesman worked through our needs and worked with us on price to get the project into our budget. Everything was clearly spelled out in the contract. The installation was within the time frame they quoted. Our installer was amazing. His attention to detail made both projects turn out perfectly. He thought of things we didnt and treated our home with care and made sure we were satisfied with the project. I have nothing but good things to say about our experience with Mad City.

They replaced over 12 windows in my home in one day. They came ready and worked quickly. The crew kept everything clean and made the windows look really nice. This was a huge step for me and they made the process so easy. They answered any questions I had and left me with tips on how to use them effectively. Had them install a huge Bay Window in 2018 and now one of the side windows will not close! I finally got it shut with the help of a friend pushing from the outside while I cranked on the inside as it was raining at a slant and coming into my living room! What ticks me off is they expect you to fill out a request for maintenance by submitting an online form and not to call them! If I cant get my window closed and it is storming to me this is an emergency and I need help. Not to mention I paid a small fortune for this window. Also, after they installed the window I had to caulk underneath it because they didnt!The door that was installed in the basement was done really well and that is the only reason this company got 3 stars.On to the bathroom - do not get them to do your bathroom remodel!! They messed up on the size and then when they installed the shower they messed up my drywall. Also, now the stall has a crack on the bottom lip.They were very sloppy and I felt intimidated by the large guy installing.

Mad City is a great contractor to invite into your home. The great experience starts with the intial visit and presentation on the quality of products. We had two areas of concern. Bathroom window and downstairs patio door. The 2nd step is the measurement phase and this was a quick seperate visit with another great professional from Mad City. Last step was the installation. They gave an approximate timeline and the installation fell within that timeline given. The installer was a true professional who worked veey hard and diligently and it did take about 8 hours of hard work. The final work was flawless and we received the product we had ordered that met Wisconsins weather extremes. Within two days of install we had are 2nd heat wave. The bathroom window and patio door was 100% better than what we had previously. The cost and discouts made this major project very reasonable. Plus all done in one day. Highly recommend Mad City for your homes next project update.

The install was quick, the clean up was poor. The windows look cheap. They completely forgot to seal one whole window. They left several 3 inch screws outside on the ground. Weve had the windows since October 2020, and randomly one day, 2 weeks ago, one of the windows cracked. Its been 2 weeks since filing a claim and we still havent heard from a representative. So glad we didnt pay what they originally quoted us for. We still feel like we over paid for then, especially now with all of the issues! 100% do not recommend.

Im assuming all the 5 star reviews are due to Mad City sending out several emails asking to submit 5 * reviews and they will pay up to $150. Unfortunately, in our eyes they do not deserve the 5 stars and we did not take them up on the $150. We are wishing we would have shopped around and selected a different company. As long as there are no issues with your windows the windows are very nice, seem to be well manufactured and installed. That is the only reason I am giving them 3 stars. Unfortunately, if there is an issue Mad City has not been very reliable or responsive. It is almost 8 months since our original install and our issue has still not been resolved. These windows arent cheap, I expected better service. We had our new windows installed in August 2020. At the time of installation there was a crack in one of the windows which wasnt noticed until it was too late so they had to install it. There was also a huge slit in one of the screens. It took 7 months to get the new window. We are still waiting for the new screen. It became pretty obvious that something wasnt right early in the process of getting the replacement. After about a month after the original install I called Mad City for a status. They hadnt read the installers paperwork and never ordered the replacement. They assured me it would be ordered right away. A month or so later - still waiting. Called again and got a fairly similar response - it was never ordered. A month later we still hadnt gotten an update. I had to repeatedly call and leave messages but no one would respond or if they did answer the phone they would tell me they would call with a status but never did. A replacement window finally came but the installers shattered it when loading it into the truck. Im not mad about that - things happen. A new one was ordered and our window was finally delivered and installed after 7 months. The screen was also supposed to be replaced but it appears Mad City again didnt read the initial installers notes that it needed replaced not repair. The person who brought our new window confirmed that it needed replacing and put the order in right away....supposedly. Its now been another month and still no screen... 8 months and counting.

We have had Mad City replace our large patio doors last year and all the windows in our house this year. Great quality products with excellent customer service. One of our windows cracked and it was promptly replaced for free through their double lifetime warranty! We also had an issue with some of the foam around the windows and they came out the next business day to fix it. We have definitely noticed a decrease in the amount of energy we use and the drafts have been eliminated in our house. We are very pleased with our new doors, windows, and the service!

Last summer, we had Mad City Windows replace windows. They were very efficient. They arrived on time, were quick to replace the windows and cleaned up. I waited until this winter to write this review because I wanted to see how they performed in the winter. Well after getting two weeks of up to 30 below temps, they are great. We had no leaks and they never frosted up. Gave them 5 stars and would would use again.

We had our shower replaced by Mad City Bath & Windows. Initially we were shocked with the quoted price, but after careful consideration, we realized that this is the cost of the products and service we wanted. It is an investment in our home, and one that we will enjoy for years to come. We got to fully customize the shower (walk-in, w/ oversized glass doors, bench, shaving bar, shelves). Our sales person was excellent at providing assistance on what colors matched together. Mad City tore the old shower out, moved the plumbing to come out a different wall, moved the location of the exhaust fan, and replaced the fan/light fixture). The project took 2 full days to complete. After the installation was finished, all construction dust was vacuumed and cleaned up by the installation man. The final project was more then we ever dreamed of.

They pulled an old tube out and replaced it with a new shower and surround. Look amazing.

Although I did not go with the Mad City bath program they offer good product very polite I just chose a different product

DO NOT use Mad City! If your sale person promised you their door and screen door are better than others, don’t listen! Our main concern was our screen door on our old door. I very specifically showed the sales guy how small the handle was and how difficult it was to operate. He assured, promised, us the new screen door would be better and that it would have a much bigger better handle for opening and closing! We signed on for a new patio door and screen door. The price the salesman started at was almost $9000. After a couple discounts, calls to his manager and etc. we agreed to $5000. $5,000 dollars later we are left with a patio door that the glass appears with ripples in it and a screen door that has an even smaller handle and to be able to lock it the screws stick out the casing outside so their solution was to saw them off and put a mess of caulk on them to make them stick. There is caulk all over our wood casing around the door. The solution for the small handle that didn’t fix the problem we wanted to fix in the first place when buying this new door is a 3M hook taped to the door. This is an absolute joke! I will never recommend Mad City to anyone!

Mad City upgraded two showers in our home. They did a spectacular job and finished the job as had been scheduled. The upgrades were done in the midst of COVID-19 and the company was cognizant and followed CDC rules. The company also followed-up with us after the installations were done to be sure we were comfortable with the results. I would recommend Mad City to anyone looking to have updates carried out in their homes.

I contracted with Mad City in May of this year for my bathroom. The absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. I might have to sue them. They have yet to finish my bathroom. They dont respond to phone calls; they dont do anything. DONT USE THIS COMPANY. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

The man that came to measure the windows measured 2 of them wrong. I waited 4 months for these windows and they were not cheap! The installers were great and were apologetic about the mistake, but at that point my old windows were already removed and they were broken. They had to put the old broken windows back in and it’s December in Wisconsin.. so it’s cold. 2 months later my “expedited” replacement windows are finally in, but it took me calling in and emailing daily for an update. I’m not happy with this company but the one window I have is very nice and installed great.Not great customer service and we will see what they will do regarding my bill because I will be taking to a manager about it.They may have an A rating on BBB but I don’t think they deserve it.

We had our bathroom tub replaced with a walk in shower with a window outside in the shower! We love the look and it stays pretty clean even after months of using it daily! Thank you Mad City.

Shower upgradeWe needed our small shower upgraded from a one-piece fiberglass to a more modern material. Salesman worked with us to find a quality material to fit our budget. Project was completed in a timely manner with excellent product and workmanship.

Absolutely LOVE our new windows at our cabin. Worlds of difference in efficiency and quality from what we originally had. Not only do they look great, but they offer us a much better views out. Could not be happier with the results from the windows and installation provided by Mad City Windows.

My husband and I were nervous to begin the window replacement process. We didn’t want to end up with a product we would regret in the end. We didn’t want to spend a fortune on something we’d have problems with or need to replace in a few years. Ryan Adams came to our home. He was an outstanding salesman that put our worries at ease. He understood our hesitation and addressed each one with an answer we had hoped for! He reassured us that Mad City was a superior window with hands on comparison. He explained the warranty, giving us the feeling of complete comfort. We canceled the two future appointments we had with other local business and were sold on a total home replacement window contract. We were quite anxious to begin, so the wait time for the custom windows to arrive seemed longer than it likely was. The coronavirus has slowed pretty much everything down as well. Once they came in, we scheduled our appointment for installation. The crew came a few days later and that’s when the real magic began!!!! To say I was impressed would be an understatement. I have never seen such a well orchestrated process. Out with the old and in with the new in the blink of an eye! We get so many compliments from neighbors, family and visitors. Even a few people simply passing by stopped to admire them. Outstanding job! Highly recommended.

My roof needed re-decking, its very steep and it was the middle of winter so it was a BIG job. Im so happy with the team that did the work. I had been stressed about the project but as soon as I spoke with Jeff I knew we had the best guy to do the job. In addition to having over 25 years of experience, Jeff and his team were professional, considerate and extremely hard working.During the process, at the end of each day they cleaned up their materials, used a magnet to collect all the rusty nails and removed anything from the yard that could hurt our dogs.Our roof had been leaking so we were anxious about getting it done. These guys worked long hours, well into the evening each day to get the job done for us. I honestly feel that Jeff and his team did as great of a job on my roof as they would have done on their own home.

We decided to have Mad City replace our windows and a patio door because it looked like they had mostly positive reviews. Turns out that they must be masters at manipulating review results. I was deceived by the sales man and I definitely over paid for third rate windows and terrible measurements and installation that required repair to drywall and repainting because windows were so much smaller than the original windows. Most people never have to deal with installing windows in their home so they don’t know what to look for. The advice that I got for the installer for Mad City (not employees but subcontractor) was to find a good contractor in your area, have them order and install your windows. That way you will be dealing with one person that makes the measurement, orders and installs the windows and receives payment from you. Mad City is a professional sales outfit that gets ok windows a a low price, subcontracts the installation and charges a premium price. My advice is to stay away from Mad City.

Tub to walk in shower conversion.Very prompt on sales person coming out once contacted. Sales person was very informative & professional. Install went well. There was an issue with the glass shower door; a small chip on lower side of glass & little pits in shower door towel bar. Let installer know & he said he would contact project manager. Their follow up after an issue is very poor. This has been going on for just about a year. I have had to call to find out what is going on. Were here to replace door but the door towel bar did not make it. Will have to call again to find out status. Very, very poor customer follow up. Love shower otherwise.

Very confused about all the positive reviews because we are currently having a horrible experience. To begin with I was told all windows were in stock and ready to be installed and we would have a crew to complete the job within 2 days, Instead only two guys showed up, I understand that issues do come up but we are on 3 weeks now. Also, I was told by the salesman that they have their own employees and that they do not subcontract but theses guys are. Right now the windows are not completed, they fog up which I was promissed would not happen, one window is on delay and we have no idea when it will be installed, another window is on the ground collecting dirt, rain and bugs and I personally feel like we over paid because the windows look inexpensive. Lastly, These guys walk in and out of my house as if they owned it, they dont where booties so you could imagine how my floors look and they also do not cover the furniture with plastic. I am very upset and I will not recommend Mad City to anyone.

We were very impressed with the quick response when we inquired about a quote for our bathtub. The sales associate was punctual, polite, and very knowledgeable. The installation is really the only reason I am giving the four star review instead of five. My brother had a tub installed and they were done around 1pm. Ours began at 8am on New Years Eve and was finished at 9pm. Had I known it would have taken so long, I would have scheduled it for a different day. The installer was clearly fatigued and repeatedly asked his supervisor to stay and help him, but he said he also had a really long day. I would have preferred to have them come back and finish it as a two day product, but due to the one day guarantee they were unable to grant that request. I would not consider a 13 hour install period one day (especially when we live in a one-bathroom household). That being said, the installer was very polite and worked hard. For the overall quality I would give 4.5 stars. We have had it for almost two months now and it is SO easy to keep clean and beautiful. Some of the caulk could have been a little more even and some got on the actual tub, otherwise it is absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend Mad City and plan on using them in the future for our kitchen, but would see if they could give you a timeframe based on the experience of the installer if you have time constraints or young children with bedtimes.

The windows are wonderful. Stopped a great deal of draft, easy to open as if they were feather weight even if the entire window itself was very heavy.

I needed replacement of shower surround that had failed to the point that it was bulging and leaking in places, and could not be repaired.I contacted Mad City, which sent a salesperson to my house to discuss their product along with various options for my bathroom. I chose a relatively simple design without doors as I like using shower curtains to change my bathroom decor. However, there was an array of finishes, fittings, colors, and other design options from which to choose.It took a bit of negotiation to get the price to a figure that I thought was reasonable and competitive, based on my research into other bathroom options. They offered relatively low interest financing. The terms were acceptable.My bathroom panels were finished within about a month. I settled on a date for installation. This took the better part of two days, which was not a problem for me. I was able to use the sink and toilet throughout, but not the shower. The man who did the installation was polite and considerate of my time and my privacy. He also tolerated my crabby cat, which was a plus.The quality of materials is excellent. The surround is acrylic, which has a beautiful smooth, glossy appearance. Its thicker than the materials used for the shower surrounds sold in home improvement stores. Im disabled and need grab bars for stability. The white bars they provided are a nice match to the walls of the surround. The floor is a non-slip material.One reason I chose Mad City was that I feared there might be mold behind the old surround, and they included mold mitigation as part of the package. By some miracle, there was no mold behind the surround, but there was rotted wood under the window and in the floor. He cut away the damaged wood and replaced it without additional charge.There was blown-in insulation behind the old surround, which fell out when he removed the panels. He replaced it with batting, which should do a better job of insulating the shower. He had to cut away a little bit of the metal cover for my baseboard heater, but made it look 100% better than before by constructing an end cap out of scrap acrylic.So far, the shower surround has been great. No complaints. These are before and after shots.

Mad City did both of our bathroom, moving the tub to the lower bathroom and putting in a walking I shower on the first floor, both look amazing! Our installer was super respectful of our home, and cleaning up after himself! Absolutely would recommend Mad City as well as use them again!!!

Mad City was great every step of the way. From the initial home visit, measurement visit, and installation they were professional and thorough. They provided the quality shower/bath as promised. I am glad I made the decision to team with Mad City!

First we met with the consultant, who was friendly and helpful, but didn’t seem to fully know the product he was selling. He ended up quoting us for the wrong windows and had to fix the mistake later down the road. We never got an itemized list showing exactly what we were paying for, which seemed odd to us. But we were guaranteed windows of the highest quality so we signed the contract. The window installers ended up scratching and dinging the existing woodwork that I had to go back and fix myself. After the installation was finished I inspected the windows and noticed every window had scratches and scuffs on the pane or on the frame itself. And three of the seven screens had holes in them. I called to report the issues and they sent someone out a couple weeks later to fix the issues. One of the windows they replaced had ANOTHER scratch! When I asked to speak with someone about the on going issues the only thing I was told was that they were aware of the issues and there was nothing more they could do. This was not the quality I was promised and I don’t plan on buying from Mad City anytime in the future.

The product that was used to make the windows and also when installing the windows were great. Great experience!

From start to finish, Mad City was professional in selling their products, they did not try and force sell anything. The sales person was very knowledgeable about the products and service. The sales person even inquired if I was a veteran and that Mad City offered a military discount. The installation was quick but quality and before the installers could finish, there was a quality control manager who came by during the installation process and ensured that I was fully satisfied with their work. The installers were curious and friendly and did a great job installing and cleaning up. Thanks Mad City....

Mad City was great. I feel terrible for forgetting the gentleman’s name who replaced 4 of our windows but he was quick, quiet (as quiet as you can be), and very professional. He went out of his way to tell me he spotted some damage on an existing part of the house and told it should get looked at. I did and he saved me a lot of headache for that. I can’t recommend Mad City enough!

Paid a huge amount of money for storm and interior doors, in April 2020. Doors were installed improperly and were not measured correctly. Now, 16 months later, we are still waiting to get our issues resolved. Extremely poor follow up communication. I am beyond frustrated and disgusted. At this point it may be time to contact an attorney.

I am writing this review after giving the company 24 hours to respond to my call. Yesterday, a gentlemen was canvassing the area. I was about ready to walk my dog when he appeared my door. I told him we just went with another window company, and he did not believe me. I told him that at least two more times. As I am walking my dog down my driveway, he proceeded to call me prejudice because I said no to him several times. I called the call center. The lady that answered my phone call was nice and told me that she would forward my concern. I am still waiting a response from the company.

There was a long wait for the windows to come in which was understandable due to the delays in all building supplies related to the pandemic. My only complaint there is that when I called to check on them I felt that the representative I spoke with was dismissive of me when I asked the status of them despite the fact that I waited to call until I was outside the 8 week expected timeline I had been given. Once the windows came in the scheduling was done quickly. The installers who came to my home were respectful, knowledgeable, and very friendly. I would not hesitate to go back to Mad City for future home upgrades.

We used them to update our bathroom. They had a good selection of options and products and I was able to do a lot of customizing, without driving up the price which was great. The contractor that actually did the bathroom remodel work was so excellent - he made sure I was involved in the last minute design changes and that everything would work for our family. My only complaint is I wish they would do the complete project, including touching up paint and flooring. However, the shower and bath we got are absolutely amazing and I absolutely love our new bathroom!

Jean was a young man who came to quote us a price on restyling our cupboards in our kitchen. He was so professional and enjoyable! Explained everything about the company, product, installation, warranty etc. Extremely through. Mad city is lucky to have a gentleman represent their company. We had our shower redone. They made the space look so much better. We have more room to move and store things in the bathroom. They finished it all in two days ( the first day they couldn’t finish a part was missing). We will be using them again.

Communication issues from day one. We had to initiate every call regarding our window installation. I have never experienced such poor customer service. Had we known, we definitely would have used someone else. One star for the guys that installed, everything else gets a zero.
