I am disappointed with their self checkout registers. They should have kept at least one cashier for the elderly. Many elderly are not computer savvy and dont want to tackle machines. I havent returned since they changed over. Also many customers have left because they did away with fitting rooms. They dont seem to be customer friendly anymore.

Decent selection everytime Ive been there, and reasonably clean. Pleasant and helpful employees. Electronics must be tested because whatever Ive purchased has worked fine.

I absolutely LOVE shopping here. If you have a low income and even if you dont, there are so many amazing deals every day. I bought my husband brand new Duluth work jeans for $7.99 they run around $80. The employees are always so nice and helpful. 100% recommend. If you havent been here then you really dont know what youre missing. Especially, if you have young kids growing quickly.

A little annoyed about the return policy…. They give you store credit that you have to spend all at once that same day except they took away the dressing rooms. So how am I supposed to know if something is going to fit me before I buy it and bring it home? Bring back the dressing rooms because it’s a hassle now. The place is clean and has hidden gems but the price is a little high for a second hand store. $8 for a plain long sleeve t shirt? Also now having mostly self check outs there is barely anyone there to help you. It’s not the same anymore.

The prices are higher than they used to be. Dont they realize that this is USED merchandise? I have to wonder if employees purchases are priced low but higher for other customers. Just not what it used to be.

Dont think just because this is a thrift store that you are not going to find brand new clothing, even popular name brand which I dont care for brands because when I shop I look for good quality, looks good on my body and fashionable. When I get home Ive notice most of the items just happen to be a popular name brand and new at that! Today I purchased brand new corduroy pants for only $2.99!

Ive been going here for years and they use to have better prices but now since people go their then resell alot of the stuff their prices are almost as much as it is new at another store . The stuff is allways nice tho and you can sometimes very rarely find a hidden gem but its rate because Im sure the workers their do the same reselling stuff and snatch the really good stuff asap but they have a big clothes section and a toy, books, records, household stuff aswell as dishware . I give it 3 stars because of the prices . But its pretty neat inside and decently organized and the ladies I see stocking the shelves stay boutta the way as much as possible and seem to keep it fairly neat and organized .

If you have never been, you gotta go. I started there for work clothes. And the more I looked, the more I found. Sometimes new, or in fair shape. Stationary type stuff. Price it out and then go. You maybe surprised. You can do pretty well on many items. Starting an apt. Setting up camper. Spare stuff. Or I need but I am kinda short. It all depends on you. Store is very organized. Staff is good. And you get points purchases. Easy to kill an hour. But you gotta look. If I like or need, go more than once a week. If you like tag sales n such your in.

First time back to Savers since reopened due to coronavirus. Must say that the store is remarkably clean. Staff did a wonderful job in making the store very presentable. Staff very polite and courteous.

I pretty much just visit for books and while Fall River is by far lately the worst in terms of books miscategorized (tons of fiction in the nonfiction, history, biography section and vice versa) today I started to see the same happening in New Bedord.

Prices should be less expensive. Bathroom always smells. They limit the dressing rooms to 6 items, but they never enforce it. It is pretty organized, though.

I enjoy shopping at this savers. They carry a variaty of things from alarm clocks to TVs from the 70s. I enjoy the electronic section as it is always filled with many things. I collect antique type things, retro gaming stuff, and other things, and I have always gone lucky here buying something every time I stop by. I have to say that I am not a fan of the savers in Fall River, MA. They have mostly just clothing products and barely anything else. Just clothes, furniture, and about 4 aisles & a wall of bags with miscellaneous items. New Bedford though, I rate 5 stars. Best In the area.

Great clothing, great prices. This is a thrift shop so items are second-hand, but very clean. Many hidden gems, items that are usually very high priced can be found dirt cheap. Clean changing rooms with mirrors. Helpful staff and a great selection.

Prices have got better over the past year and a half on some stuff but still find a lot of overpricing. Overall, other than the prices, they get good stock and its a great store. Price is a big deal though so have to go with 3 stars. (I had 2 stars) Hope i can edit in the future to 5 stars, keep up the good work!

Every time I go into a savers I have some good finds, this one in particular always has good jeans for me and my husband and of course toys for our son. The clothes selection for boys are not bad either.

Although I didnt save my receipt as they were second hand sheets, that when inspected before purchase were 100%.Threw tags away when I washed.Called store and explained situation asked if I could come do an even swap and if necessary make up difference. Was told No couldnt prove they were 4.99 and that they came from there.Im not asking for money, just to trade for same price item.The items were DONATED and then sold.. so profit was 100% on this item.

Love any thrift shops, and this one is no exception! Mostly well organized, and somewhat clean. Some things are kind of pricey tho, like DVDS that went up to $3 a DVD, and no sticker so they dont go to half off ever. U can get dvds now, at most other flea markets or thrift shops for $1 or$2.They do have sales on certain colored tags, altho it seems like they get rid of that colored tag items first to make room for newer stuff, so u may not a chance to see a good selection of that sale stuff.

Well before tonight all I had was good things to say about Savers but what I experienced tonight was far from it. I just cannot believe how much the prices have gone up. 9.99 for jeans for a 6 yr old boy, my grandson 5.99 for long sleeve tee shirt 7.99 hoodie, most brand new with tags but come on not even brand names then after I paid for my items the manager informs me that I should come back tomorrow as they were having a 50% off sale on ALL CLOTHES, and other things that I cant remember I was so furious when I left the store and still am. I went next door to Fallas and brand new jeans were 5.99 n up. Shirts 3.00, Hoodies 3.00 etc. I have always been a faithful SAVERS SHOPPER N donater but tonight changed my mind totally.Ill donate to Salvation Army n Goodwill from now on and look there and Fallas for my bargains. Most things are donated and obviously if your shopping there you cant afford Department store prices.

How are you going to charge more money for something used that was donated then what it cost brand new with the original price tag still on the item from the original store thats pathetic and if its used and dirty, filthy dont put it out for someone to purchase extremely unsanitary and digusting when it has burnt dried up food still on it or when you go to purchase travel mugs and there is old liquid still in there like coffee or dried up milk which when you open it gives off a horrendous smell your prices on electronics are incredibly overpriced you can go to your local Walmart and buy most of the electronics you guys sell brand new for half the price if you dont believe me look at it yourself what youre selling is used old items that were donated why are you charging so much money for a nonprofit organization I feel that it is all about profit and how you guys can put money in your pocket its not about helping the organization you guys say you guys really are trying to help because if that was the case your prices would not be anywhere near what they are everyone knows the cheaper the price the faster it comes off the shelves and people will buy more so why are you charging more than what the price of an actual brand new item is for used donated item you guys are disgusting money-hungry pathetic excuse for an organization

Prices were high . The clothes are donated right and then priced . It started as a concept and is slowly going bad . I bought a pair of shorts . Half priced as I discovered the color code denoted . My point being there were 2 pairs a nome brand and the no name both priced at 7.99$ asked why and got alot of not very good reasons one of which based on minimum wage increase . Then it was sturdy clothes cost more then it was a corrorate thing

This place has alot of second hand clothing and household items... Sometimes its hit or miss...prices are somewhat cheap for certain things... Every day there is a color of the day . For example anything with an orange price tag is half off. Whenever I go there I never seem to be able to find anything that matches the featured color price tag and that is a disappointment.

I recently went to this Savers store with my 2 daughters ages 7 and 5. After shopping for about an hour I was ready to check out. Upon checking out we had a item (a small teddy bear) that the Price Tag seem to have fallen off. The cashier who also was the store manager Rose said that I would be unable to purchase the item due to no price tag. My 5 year-old daughter heard what the women said and began crying. She was so upset to point that see was almost hyperventilating. The store manager continued to state that there was no way that she could make a price and sell the item....How ridiculous does this sound...Items that are donated to the store that have 0 dollar value and would have sold for around 2-3 dollars normally the store manager allowed a customer to leave that upset over a 2 to dollar decision...Absolutely unacceptable. I would will never step foot in this store again and would suggest that others read this review and know what type of people are running this store..WHAT A JOKE!!!
