It is impossible to talk to an actual person from Safelite regarding an issue with an installation.I just had my windshield replaced earlier in the week and the tech did not replace two pieces at the base of my windshield. There are now two holes exposing areas underneath my hood. Also if you want certain stickers transferred from your old windshield make sure to do it yourself.I am waiting to hear back via email but as of right now I would not recommend d this glass shop.

This is an overdue review. I had my back 3 pt slider window smashed and had to replace it asap prior too heading back to Canada. They were super helpful and got it done in a few hours. I was informed that the existing window was not a Mopar part(which is another review) and it was cheaper than what I would pay in CA. Very happy with these guys!

These people are supposed to be PROFESSIONALS... there service tech called me at 145pm and told me he would be there to replace my windsheild by 4pm and gave me his number .. once he had not showed up or calld by 5pm i started to call him ..a total of 5 calls by 545 pm and got no response no return call or text... it is npw 6pm est! This is veryyyyyyyy unprofessional.. i will never use them again and will neverrrrr recommend them to anyone... #BRINGBACKGLASERGLASS #lostmybuissforever #veryunproffessional

I called on a Friday and got a appointment for the next day to come to are home.The technician we had was Dylan, he called on sat around 11he introduced himself on the phone very nice he said he would be here in 20 minutes wich was great because they had given me a time between 12-5.When he arrived Dylan was wearing a face covering and was wearing gloves good safety for customers. He said i could leave keys on the seat and he would call me when he was done.I looked out my window a few times and saw Dylan working very well he was very careful and seemed to really care about the windshield replacement.He didnt rush seeing as we had a big truck for him to work on.When Dylan was done i went out he said he was going vacum the truck after replacing the windshield awsome. Originally called to have a chip filled. The chip was very noticeable after it was filled, causing me to fail state inspection. Safelite came back and then replaced the windshield, crediting the original cost of the fill towards the replacement. Doesnt sound so bad. BUT, the tech broke the stud holding on one of my wiper arms. Dont want to blame him, he was very up-front and honest about it, assured me it would be taken care of.And it was taken care of. 2 days later, 2 techs came out and replaced my wiper linkage. Took them 2+ hours, but it was done, and all was well again.... Until I checked my card statement Sunday afternoon and saw a $179 charge from Friday 11/6. The date they replaced my wiper linkage. I was assured it would be replaced at no cost to me, and absolutely did NOT sign anything authorizing a charge. I will be calling first thing Monday to have this charge reversed, at which time Ill change my rating.Update 11/13/15: The Story Continues:After speaking with someone at Safelite, I was assured this $179 charge was a mistake and would be credited back to me. They sneakily credited back a charge of $164.93, which was the charge I authorized for my windshield replacement. Assuming they would just hope I wouldnt notice that they kept the higher charge there....And if that wasnt bad enough, I was driving my car home last night, in the rain, and my wipers quit working. I hear the motor spin, but the wipers dont move. The part they replaced last Friday lasted me an entire week.Never again.

I called the call center to make an appointment the girl got the information wrong eventhough I verified the information she made my appt for a fixture instead of a replacememt of windshield I would never fix a crack in a windsield and they asked me to call the insuance company Dont Come to this unprofessional place. they should have called for me complimentary. PLEASE DONT COME HERE! This appt was made for Fall River, MA. Location! Let us stand together and let these people know what time it is!

I needed to get my window replaced so I could get my car inspected. This is enough to make anyone stressed out. Going to Safelite in New Bedford made all my worries go away. The staff was professional and attentive. The waiting area was clean and well-lit. Overall this was a far less stressful experience than I anticipated. I definitely suggest anyone who needs glass repair to go to this facility in New Bedford. You wont be disappointed.

Ive used Safelite exclusively for a number of years to do my windshield repairs and replacements - but Ill be looking elsewhere in the futureBrief history - windshield replaced a year ago, no issues noted, no leaks. Had vehicle painted and during the time it was at the painters garage, year old windshield was broken - time to call Safelite!Scheduled appointment and tech came out to do replacement (same guy as last time). Had snowed the day before so I had cleared the snow off the vehicle as well as I could - its a high roof van. Tech proceeded to replace the cracked windshield with a new one, but cautioned me that the gasket he was using wasnt the right one and it might blow out at highway speeds. ??Tech finished replacing the glass and I noticed a significant drip from the drivers side A pillar where the water was coming in past the gasket, into the van and coming out into the interior. I asked the tech about the leak and he made some comment about it being a body seam that was leaking and that I should keep an eye on it. ??That evening, I placed a number of paper towels under the leak, by morning they were completely soaked. I called and scheduled a warranty visit to repair the leaking windshield.Tech comes out today to do the warranty repair - no windshield, no gasket, was told to put some sealant on the leaking body seam. I showed the tech where the water was probably leaking into the van and how it was running down the interior of the A pillar and weeping out of the small metal seam (clearly not the source of any leakage as it is *inside* the van).Tech called his manager who told him to tell me that the warranty was voided (as I has put a small dab of silicone sealant on the A pillar seam to try to stop the water from coming in) and that I should take the van to a body shop to have the seam looked at.Amazing! Tech pulls the windshield (that wasnt leaking), replaces it with a new one (wrong gasket), sees the water leaking into the van, and leaves.* * * UPDATE * * *Original tech comes back out - removes existing glass and old sealant/trim/seal. Completely cleans the sealing surfaces, primes potential scratches, preps the area thoroughly. New sealant and seal, old window back in and good to go...Much better job this time - well see when the next rain comes along.

When I was leaving work and found out my back windshield was completely shattered, I knew I couldnt drive home with it like that. I called around to a few local companies, but none of them could help me. Safelite in New Bedford was the only one who could--I drove to their office and they were able to crash wrap the window for me within the hour. They ordered a new window for me and scheduled me in within 48 hours to have it replaced, and they contacted my insurance on my behalf. Thank you so much--I dont know what I would have done otherwise!

I have used Safelite AutoGlass before, without incident, but today was one of the worst experiences ever!They had 2 week to prepare for my appointment, which was today. After a 30 minute drive to get there, the counter person simply said i think we have the wrong glass for you - sorry. after checking he confirmed and said sorry again.Well sorry just does not cut it! I wasted an hour of my time and my dads who followed me as the car needed to stay there for several hours and I have to work. They had two weeks to order the correct part - verify that they have the correct part - which no one seem to have the skill to do!while is not rocket science, attention to detail is required and to customers. Will never return to this shop!

I had TWO windshields replaced by the New Bedford office in a week. My first one was done by Jason at my home and he was EXCELLENT. Kind, courteous and superb workmanship. I had concerns about my timeframe, so the office even sent an extra tech to make sure it would be done in time but it ended up being unnecessary. My other car had its windshield botched TWICE by the Taunton office, and Nelson, the manager in New Bedford, got us into his shop and corrected the problem, even throwing in free windshield wipers for our trouble. I highly recommend the New Bedford shop. They take pride in what they do and do it right.

I came home from work expecting my window to be fixed. It got fixed, but it was the wrong window and more importantly they did not clean any of the glass that they left there. When my window broke, it shattered but stayed all in one piece. So I figured maybe I can save a mess if I tape it up with plastic and what not. The fact that I didnt make the mess of glass is why this place is the worst auto glass repair place there is. They left glass all over my driveway, and inside all of my stuff in my trunk (hatchback). This was ridiculous. So when I called about getting the right tinted glass and the fact that they made a huge mess(not me THEM), I get a cocky answer as to why they left an unacceptable pile of broken glass in my trunk and driveway. Well how else are we supposed to get the old window out? HAHA how about some common sense? I had the window taped off so you could easily remove the old glass and control where it goes. After the wrong tint, glass everywhere, and completely disrespectful customer service, I could strongly say this is the worst place to get your auto glass repaired or replaced. Save your time, money, and frustration and go to ANY other place.

One of the vehicles from the New Bedford branch keeps parking in a residential neighborhood right in front of my house and stays there overnight. Completely awful experience. Was told i was being charged 228$ to my card when I gave my card info over the phone. Checked my bank statement and was charged 265$... Came day of appointment and they brought wrong windshield. Rescheduled me for the next day so I had to cancell plans and make sure I was available. They then broke all my plastic trim around my windshield ( what a hack job ) and said they were not responsible if trim pieces broke... Do not use this buisness for glass replacement, you have been warned !
