Extremely disappointed with the purchase I made a few months ago and the service I received in regards to issues with the car. I dont trust them to do proper inventory maintenance or provide good service to their customers. I will never buy a vehicle here again and I dont recommend them to anybody. For what its worth, my sales person was not the issue. It was the way management handled everything that bothers me the most. I will be buying AND servicing my cars elsewhere in the future.

Sold me a car with front end damage didn’t offer any money off, also gave me a key fob that didn’t work and didn’t find out until a few weeks after I bought the car as it was the second fob of the two we were given, The car was also supposed to be detailed before pick up and that wasn’t done. They wanted my husband to wait at the dealership another four hours so it could get done. Had we not been in such desperate need for a car right away we would’ve never purchased the vehicle from them in the first place but unfortunately it was the only place that we could get an SUV with three seats right away after I had crashed our main family vehicle two days before. The original sales man that we had didn’t seem to know anything which is fine he may have been training I understand we all need to learn at some point but his manager was just so rude and nasty to him I felt so bad for that poor kid. I still think about him to this day and hope he found a much better job with managers that treat him better! And honestly after everything that went wrong with buying the car I would honestly never go back to them just because of how they treated their employees!

I had a very positive experience at MetroWest Subaru. The out-the-door pricing was competitive and displayed in a transparent manner (no unexpected add-ons or misc fees). It was easy to make an appointment from there and the vehicle was prepped and ready for a test drive when I arrived. Ross was excellent throughout the entire process and went above and beyond to make my experience great. Hes definitely the guy you want to work with.Negotiations and the F&I office went smoothly. FYI personal checks were not accepted for the deposit, so be prepared to gather a cashier check quickly if you want your car ASAP.Go check out MetroWest Subaru -- they work hard to earn your business.

On 6/8/2021 I brought my Legacy GT in for an airbag recall. I was told it would take 2-2.5hrs. After waiting for 3.5hrs I go to the service desk and see my car is sitting outside. I ask if the repair has been finished. The recall work was completed, but I was told the technician had to order parts because the airbag light was now on. No one came to find and inform me about this. I asked if I could talk to the technician, to see if they connected an information display (if it is not connected, the airbag light will be on). The technician was going on lunch and couldnt come talk to a customer. I walk the advisor out to the car, and low and behold, the display was on the back seat! I connect the display and show that the airbag light is off. I cant believe incompetence of the service and lack of communication from the advisors. This just reinforces why I do not go to dealerships for service.

Update: someone from Subaru gave me a call and walked through the concerns with me. They were professional and apologetic and are looking into the issue.Metrowest Subaru has typically been very good, however, after this experience I will not be going back. After spending about $1400 on repairs, I called back 2 days later concerned with a grinding sound I believed was associated with the repairs and I was told someone would call me back. They never did. I called again and was told they didn’t have any appointments this week but would try and fit me in and that someone would call me back. They never did. I called the next day and was told that they couldn’t see me until the following week (5 days later). We scheduled something and I was told I would get an email confirmation—never did.After spending so much money and expressing follow up concern about the repair, you’d think they would be more willing to support and help the customer.

Stay away from Sam. We have bought two subarus before from Tyler, who was great and gave us a great experience in the past. However upon hearing that he left the dealership and having met Sam, I am determined to never buy a car from this dealership again. Sam offered me significantly less on my trade in than what Kelly blue book shows as the trade in value - insultingly low. When I kept bringing this up to him, he kept dismissing my concern. On top of that, he had the nerve to start negotiations at $4k above the MSRP on the base trim?? These people are crooks, stay away from them. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Service department: trying to charge me for warranty-covered work; arguing with me about why I didnt come in sooner, rather than looking into warranty; hung up on me when I (duh) expressed great annoyance. And all this at the end of the day and while still holding my car, leaving me unanswered and without my car. Unprofessional and sleazy.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I went in with a large downpayment hoping to finance a Forester with the lowest monthly payment possible. I was there for a total of 2 minutes since both the sales person and the manager quickly turned me away after I said the payment they were expecting was out of my budget. I expected a bit more professionalism... maybe even recommend another model. SOMETHING, but absolutely NOTHING was done except a simple “sorry”. So much for the trip and for saving so much for a downpayment.

I brought my friends car in for her for a recalled part. It was a busy day for both of us--I had to make a vaccine appointment, and they were just constantly taking in car after car. They gave me a courtesy car (through Enterprise) so I could make my appointment. After I got back, I waited a bit, but thats to be expected. They legitimately felt bad because I was exhausted and suffering the effects of the dose... The fact that they could do it the same day is phenomenal.

MetroWest Subaru is a great dealer than does away with the high pressure sales tactics that are present many other rivals. While I ultimately havent bougt a car from them yet, the sales experience was great and there were not problems getting to test out what we were looking for. I highly recommend Marc, he was very knowledgeable about all the different options in the Subaru lineup, explained the features of the car clearly, and was very friendly and nice to talk to.Ive also had good experiences with the service department here with my Impreza. The prices are typical for dealership service (on the high side), but the mechanics and service managers are courteous and take the time to show you things on the vehicle you may have missed or to explain any unforeseen repairs. When a recall service was going to take a longer time than expected (they were super slammed on a Friday), they set me up with a loaner that saved my weekend trip. I appreciate the honesty and dedication to service here.

I search and reached out to all the Subaru Dealers in New England area.MetroWest understood and was ready to help accommodate all my requests and timeline, best part all this happened over Phone, where as i had to visit all other dealers at there location few 70 Miles away.Once we finalized the Car Silver with Black interiors, with all the required accessories, we negotiated the price over phone, and I just had to visit them once for the Paper work.During my visit to MetroWest Showroom on Friday, i told them Silver was not my first choice, Sales executive Jake asked what will be your first choice of Color, I Said Blue with Ivory Interiors. Jake Immediately contacted his manager.Sales Manager told me they can help me get my first choice if I am willing to wait for a week and I have to visit the showroom once again in week, after they can confirm and pick the only Blue car with Ivory interiors, which was only available in VT.Jake said, we will hold the Silver Car too until the Blue car is confirmed.Jake called me On Saturday evening and gave me the confirmation the blue car is blocked for me and I can come for paper work again.Monday I visited the showroom again. Now we had to re-negotiate reason, unlike the Silver car, Blue car did not come with almost no accessories factory installed, and it involved labor to install them, but the price rise was not very high, so it just took few minutes to arrive at the final Invoice price.Jake told the Car will be received by them from VT by Thursday, and need 2 Days to install all the accessories and confirmed me Monday they will delivery the car to my home.As promised by Jake Car got delivered to my home Monday morning.Thanks Jake and MetroWest for helping me with my New Car Purchase.Monday I immediate reached the

We booked an appointment to visit them at 3 pm a day before. They called us at noon the day of the appointment to try to reschedule to 2:30. This required us to move things around but we told them we would make it. We got a call back again at 1:15 saying that they would not be able to accommodate us if we were not able to make it before 2:15.Since we really wanted to make it work, we said we would make it. We cut our lunch short and started driving. At 1:55, when we were 15 minutes away, we get yet another call saying that theyre trying to close up for the day and they would not be able to accommodate us. We pointed out that we were going to be there at 2:10 like we had previously discussed. The person we talked to on the phone seemed to think that 15 minutes from 1:55 was 2:20. Finally he said, okay we might be able to fit you in. But frankly, the total lack of professionalism and courtesy turned us off so much that we ended up cancelling.We are going to continue our car search but we will not be visiting metrowest subaru after this experience.

Initially pleased with the service. I had a recall airbag replacement and rear brakes. Got a call that front steering sway bar had to be replaced. Total cost just shy of $1K. Got home, rear brake SMOKING. I finally got through on the phone and was told to bring it back. 2 hours later, I had a new caliper. So we’d be at four stars them for making it up to me, but good God, 2 visits and $1,000 later and the dealer doesn’t even fill your washer fluid.

As always, very nice and helpful with car repairs. Unfortunately, as Im writing in the midst of the pandemic, it was uncomfortable waiting inside the service section, as the indoor staff seemed to not wear masks unless they were specifically working with customers or heading outside. At one point, I was inside with six other people, and four out of five employees present were wearing masks around their necks, as chin guards, or not at all. In such a small indoor space, it was more important that they were wearing masks inside than when they went outside, but the priority seemed to be making new customers think everyone would always be wearing a mask when they saw employees outside. Only one staff member indoors (Joe) consistently wore a face covering over both his nose and his mouth. Despite the heat outdoors, every staff member I interacted with outside was friendly and wearing a proper face covering.

I started going here a year ago when I needed my car fixed. I had gotten a quote from another place and needed a second opinion. A friend recommended I go to Sang to get it fixed. My husband and I just bought a Subaru Crosstrek 2021 from Metrowest Subaru. We had been looking at various makes and models from different dealers. We had a horrible experience at a dealer outside of our local area. We felt so upset after leaving that place that we decided to try one more place so we wouldn’t go home so discouraged.We drove into Metrowest Subaru and were greeted by Sam Mayer. It didn’t take long before we knew this was going to be a totally different experience. He treated us with respect and kindness and had a warm personality and sense of humor. That put us at ease right away. He was so knowledgeable about all the details but never pushed us or made us feel pressured.My husband found exactly what he wanted and with the help and guidance of Sam and the finance manager Jon Kent we left there very happy.We had not looked into the Subaru before, but had heard rave reviews from friends who own them. I took my car to several different places to have it fixed and they were not really willing to explain to me in detail what was really wrong with my car. After taking my car to MetroWest and speaking with one of their mechanics Sang I knew I was in good hands. Sang was not only courteous but he really walked me through the process of repairing my car. Purchased our Outback here in 2016 and for a while had positive experiences with having it serviced here as well. However, after my recent interactions, I am taking my business elsewhere. Two visits back I had a very unpleasant interaction with one service advisor when I questioned how long it took for them to tell me that my vehicle was ready after specifically asking to be contacted as soon as possible. This was after the parts department had never called to let me know my touch up paint (already paid!) had arrived over a month prior. Most recently, I have contacted the service department twice to gather information about replacing the tires on my vehicle and to schedule the service. Twice that call has been routed to an answering service who sends a message to the service department with a promise that I will be called back. I have not received a call back. Yesterday I called one last time and asked to speak directly to a service advisor or I was going to move on. They did not connect me. I am done. Poor, poor system in place and I highly recommend you reconsider how you handle communication.

Hazard lights on my car wouldnt turn off while I was on the way to visit my daughter in Framingham. My daughter called MetroWest in a panic (I am 80 years old) and they were willing to squeeze me in on a busy afternoon. Staff couldnt have been more gracious when I finally got there--and Mike solved the problem in less than 10 minutes. Had a great experience test driving a Forester and a Legacy with Jeff Berman. He spent two hours with me; friendly, respectful, no pressure, relaxed, very informative. Exactly what a car shopping experience should be. I followed up later and he provided a competitive quote via email. (In the end, I purchased from a different dealer that had an even better price, due to surplus stock on their lot.) Definitely consider working with Jeff for your new Subaru.

First time car buyer experience.After a tiring day of dealerships I decided that I liked the feel of a Subaru and wanted to check out a specific dealer.The parking lot is super cramped They really pack em in there. We actually had issues parking.We were not greeted outside, at all, which was strange to me on a Sunday afternoon during a busy holiday weekend.Nevertheless, we went in and were greeted after a few minutes and led over to a desk to talk.After the initial small talk we started talking numbers. Marty was very down to earth and honest. He knew I had a budgetand tried to help me stick by it. ***Warning though they claim that they do not negotiate the price of a vehicle.They would only negotiate the price per month of the loan, IF I put enough money down, which in the end did not help mebecause their offer was too high (I ended up getting a loan elsewhere) A word of warning to a first time car buyer....shop around and do your homework first.After the initial bump however I had a rather fine time. They have very convenient hours and I even found time after work to sign the rest of my paperwork .They had my vehicle spotless and ready as soon as I wanted it.

With any dealership or repair shop it can be a very underwhelming experience. However when I am in the area and need my vehicles serviced I can count on Sang to be honest about whats needed and thorough on a repair. Sang has always gone above and beyond expectations.

Made an appointment to get my car checked out one evening after a body shop noted a potential manufactures defect. The issue was described in detail when appointment was made (weeks ago) and a one hour slot was reserved. Once there was told they didn’t have time to check it tonight. What’s the point of making an appointment? And driving all the way there? The guy (who’s apparently the manager of the service department) finally agreed that if a left it there overnight he would look at it in the morning. It was like pulling teeth just to get that. When I told them I would need a loaner car he grabbed a key off the rack and chucked it toward his associate in a huff, telling him to take care of it. It’s like I owed them something for coming in for service. This after spending tens of thousands of dollars to buy a car from them. Would recommend avoiding this place.

MetroWest Subaru did a nice job with my recent car service. One piece of feedback -- I made an appointment online for (what I thought) was a 30k mile service, but when I came in the appointment just called for an oil change. This meant I had to leave my car for the day. Its not a big deal, but it wasnt what I expected. This probably would have been caught earlier if I received a confirmation email after I booked the appointment.

Great service experience here. Easy to make appointments online, they welcome you in a garage out of the weather. The business center had plenty of seats, free coffee, and wifi.They did my 12k mile service, reprogrammed my head unit, and replaced the blower motor all in about an hour.Everything is very clean, the staff were all extremely friendly. Definitely going to keep coming back to MetroWest!

Jeff Tang deserves 10+ stars!! I always have angst when buying a new car. However, Jeff took the anxiety away and helped make the process seamless and a positive one at MetroWest Subaru. He is very thorough, professional, kind and genuine. He always returned my calls and texts, and kept me apprised. I picked up my 2020 Crosstrek late this evening, and Jeff had my new car ready and even helped me transfer my items between cars. He also took the time to go over the bells and whistles, and shown me how to use the controls and settings. He was very patient with me. I also found out that Jeff is a new team member at MetroWest Subaru. I would have never known! It seemed he was working at MetroWest for sometime. He is very knowledgeable, and educated me on the Crosstrek that I knew I was making the right decision. You can tell he loves his job and loves helping people! Jeff Tang has solid core values and is a great representative of MetroWest Subaru! I will definitely refer family and friends to him!

Brought my car in for some routine maintenance and concerns I had with a loud sound while driving. I was confused about what the issue really was. One of the techs (Sang) was not only thorough, but really knowledgeable with my vehicle. He was about to pinpoint the cause of abnormal sound i was hearing, and was very informative with how to proceed repairing. There was no guessing involved. I really appreciated how courteous and efficient he was. He was very patient with all of my questions as well.

I purchased my first car back in January 2019. I just graduated from college. I got the car I wanted and payed a fair price. This was a pleasant car buying experience. MetroWest’s follow up on two issues (one at time of purchase and the other a few months after the purchase) was excellent. A big thanks to Mr. Frank H. for his help. The on-site service managers are decent, but they have this system where when you call, you are routed immediately to some kind of off-site answering service, one of those where the person politely says okay I understand youd like help with xyz Ms Smith....I can certainly help you with that today and then you NEVER get a call back! I dealt with this for 2-3 days (like, had to call 2-3 times) until I complained loudly enough and finally one of the on-site managers gave me his direct line. The service has always been fine, but getting a hold of people there is a big problem and has been since they changed to this system.

Took 7 hours for a 4 hour job. Didnt give me a loaner. Was stuck for much longer than I should have been. Also, Im a medical professional working during a pandemic and they were 0% understanding so THANKSJust a little update that I received a call this morning with a very argumentative manager defending his company which I dont find professional. I was pretty surprised because after seven hours of my car being in the garage I had called twice and no one was available to speak to me but when its to rebut a review they had nothing but time to speak. Again, I brought up a loaner before the appointment was made and nothing was done about it. Thank you for taking time to handle the cars of essential workers during a pandemic. As a healthcare worker, I understand you put your health at risk whenever you handle the property of anyone else and I appreciate it.

Buying a car is stressful. Hard sales pressure for something so expensive that you dont buy often can make even the smartest person anxious. What a difference at Metrowest Subaru! From the moment I walked onto the lot I knew they were different. Instead of being jumped on by a group of sales representative Ross Annenberg quietly walked up and asked if I needed help. We sat down discussed my needs and wants and narrowed it down to the Forester. Took a test drive which had me on roads of 45mph, 30 and 25. Straight, curvy and narrow. First time Ive ever had s test drive that mimicked real life. I left that day with lots of info and Ross reached out once after that. I went in 5 days later and bought my car. Tomorrow I pick it up and feel confident in my decision.

Had an appointment at 8 am recently to have the front passenger frontal airbag replaced (safety recall re Takata airbag issues). I was taken on time and the service was completed within the estimated time (actually a little less). I waited for the car and the comfort was as usual just fine in the very nice waiting area. Courteous service as usual.

I loved the open concept floor of the place with a decent waiting room equipped with a good selection of complimentary coffee and tea. The cars available ranged from brand new to well used but in good condition. I got exactly the model I wanted with 15k miles on it, though I was disappointed because the car was listed as having 11k. They only knocked $250 off the price, which I thought was low rent, and the car didnt have an SD card for the navigation system, which then took over 6 weeks to get to me. All in all though, Id go back as a more informed customer if I needed another car.

I had a recall done on my Forester here regarding a brake light switch. Shorting after the repair, multiple lights were coming on the dash while driving and I believe the brakes were being applied. I called the service number and was told no appointments for 3 weeks. I made one and was told I’d get a call from a service manager shortly. That called never came. Two days later I came out in the morning to find the car sitting in the driveway off, with the brake lights on. Called the service number again and was told no appointments available. I realized I was talking to someone offsite and just drove straight to the dealer.I am waiting here now while they adjust the new switch. I was informed the service number goes to a call center in Texas. This is absolutely ridiculous how difficult they made it to have a car not just serviced, but to fix something they did incorrectly!Go to independent service centers. No reason to give service business to a system set up like this.

Just traded in my Subaru Forester and had my second outstanding experience at this dealership from start to finish. I got much more than the car I wanted at a fair price. The Sales Manager was genuinely interested in helping me find the right car and a Sales Consultant who was a good fit. The Sales Consultant, Mike Cerqueira, went above and beyond and patiently showed me how to use all the features I wasnt familiar with. Ive also had my Forester serviced at this dealership for over 5 years and cant say enough good things about their service.
