Ive been searching for a place to buy Ethiopian spices for weeks. This place is incredible. The man at the counter was so helpful. I found all the spices I needed plus a huge selection of injera. Theyve also got cookware, coffee implements, textiles, clothing, and jewelry. Highly recommended.

Very nice place to shop any kind of stuff

I bought grill $85 99 from Merkato I try to return it after a month because we got a gift from our friend the same kind of grill so we decided to return it to Merkato they said you lost the receipt we can’t return it . I ask can you give me gift card he said I don’t have a gift card . I gave him another option ok let me pay the tax give my at list $70.00 he said no I am very disappointed the way he said kind of I don’t want to say it .

If you love Ethiopia and are looking for a market to get spices and Injera this place is the best. Its in a good area and the workers are so sweet. They have a good selection of authentic Ethiopian home decor too! Also, you must try to Ethio coffee shop next door!
