This skate park is tiny and dusty. The ramps are super slick and easy to eat it on. Skated for less than hour before we left. The pictures on the website dont give it justice to its true size. This is more or less a bmx/scooter park. The kids are overbearing and its simply not the place for more technical and serious skateboarders. The skate shop was good but I wont be returning to the park.

Great place to skate! Im still a beginner but have still enjoyed lots of different parts of this park and keep learning new areas all of the time. Im here pretty much any time it rains and will probably be here very regularly as it starts getting darker earlier. They do lessons for really reasonable rates and they were a HUGE help. Everyone at the shop is friendly and they have a good selection. Family friendly as well.

We had our wedding and our reception at Rocketown and it was better than we could have imagined. Its located off of 4th Avenue South so it’s closed enough to downtown to be convenient for all of our in town and out of town guests. Additionally, it was very spacious and the parking was more than adequate for our 250+ guests. Another great thing they offered is an open vendor policy so you were not tied to any specific vendors which can be nice when you trying to cut some corners financially. Mary Virginia Settle was our main contact and events coordinator and she was awesome to work with. She was accommodating, hardworking, and extremely friendly. The rest of the staff was also very helpful. The venue is open and has a cool industrial feel. It’s a versatile space then can change to whatever mood you are looking for. Also, it’s got a cool vibe and message with the skater/biker kids and youth outreach programs. If you’re looking for a unique venue and a great experience then this if your place. I would definitely recommend this venue to friends and family. Overall an A+++

I am a local scooter rider that comes there really often and this skatepark is amazing but I just really wish that they could build a box jump or just a bigger bank. Even a small spine would be nice. I hope that you guys see this and could possibly do something like that for the scooters, bikes, and skateboard. There are no skateparks in Tennessee that have a box jump or any type of big air jump. If we could get one of those back I would be so happy. Thank you!

Best value for a wedding in Nashville. The venue is very flexible in adjusting to any brides vision. The staff is so helpful. There was no up-charge for the little things like lights and chairs. They have no ties to any other vendors so my bride and I could bring in anybody we wanted without pressure. Best money I have ever spent.

If you love to sing, you should show up on Sunday at 7:05 p.m. Or on Tuesday nights at 7:35 If you are an audio professional or have sensitive ears, you may want to bring earplugs as its louder than a jet engine in this place with the huge speakers they have that can cause permanent hearing loss sometime in your future. It seems that the drums and the electric guitar and the bass overpower every other musician in the bands for some reason.

I took my 11-yr-old daughter here to see R5 and I was pleased with the venue. I loved that they offered free parking, which is almost unheard of in downtown Nashville. The place was clean and I felt it was a safe atmosphere. The concessions were decent and werent too overpriced. I could see how some might get irritated with security because they check you EVERY time you re-enter the building, but thats the price you pay for a safe environment.Overall I really liked this place and would definitely feel at ease about bringing my daughter here for another concert.

This place sucks. They book big bands one in a while but then get butt hurt because they say a curse word on stage... really... what do you expect. Ridiculous. And if you do anything more than sway your body back and forth in the crowd, they kick you out. No wonder bands stopped booking here. This is a great place if youre 12 yrs old.

Rocketown is a community based facility that incorporates many things in Nashville that thrive music, art, dance, alternative sports. It is the Mecca for breaking (teacher: Vanicia) and skateboarding (Nathaniel) in TN. Rocketown is not only known for community programs but also has been venue to many musicians and churches to have events. I love rocketown has been a place of joy for 8 years now. Ive grown because of this place and the people. Definitely check out events and classes that go on here.

This is for a store clerk who worked night time on March 10th. Very disappointed in customer service and lack of respect for shoppers. As a parent it makes me not want to support the business. Please do not pick and choose who you want to be nice to in this business field. After all every penny counts.( Answer to your question )While my son was searching his pocket for change the store clerk rudely said to him and his friends Are you guys gonna buy this or what? . The store clerk might say that there was another customer waiting in line, but still that is not the way to talk to customer. Needless to say they didnt purchase the item. Just so you know my kid bought a board earlier that night. Hope to see improvement.

Rocketown Is a very safe place for a concert venue. The staff may be a bit off but usually good people and a safe concert environment. If you are a parent reseaeching rocketown dont worry. They will be properly taken care of if anything happens. One of the best venues I have been too. There are other venues that allow way better bands but rocketown is where I felt the safest. Not perfect but safe

The only reason Im give this place a one star is because I have to and the bands that played. I saw the story so far, basement, and turnover. If it wasnt for the bands I would never go to this place (I will never be returning in general after this thought). For a venue that is well-establish the service was awful. My friends who were guest listed we treated like liers. I wish I remembered the staff members name because she was very rude. She was a 26 year old child who contuined to talk about my friends after they had already dropped the conversation. Also, no crowd surfing or moshing? Dont host rock shows if you dont want to have crowd interaction. This place is silly and packed with rules. Another staff member also said, and I quote, if you crowd surf you will be kicked out faster than a fat kid in dodgeball and if you ask me I think that is very unprofessional and stereotypical. IF YOU HAVE TO SEE THE BAND YOU LOVE GO but if you can wait it out another couple months and see them somewhere else, do that. Rocketown is garbage.

They took away everyones lighters and even their chap stick! They even interrupted the show because they didnt like what the band was saying on stage.
