This is the most underrated coffee shop in Nashville. I’ve not had anything here I didn’t enjoy completely. Their breakfast sandwiches are incredible. Iced Vanilla Latte with oat milk is my go to order, it’s so tasty, not too sweet, and you can see the real vanilla bean specks in the bottom of the drink. The staff is very friendly. The line can get long on weekends but it goes relatively quick. Definitely worth the wait for the best cup of coffee you’ll get in town.
This place is awesome! Staff was very helpful in explaining everything but he never made us feel dumb. Loved the glitter on top of the coffee and the strawberry lemonade was delicious! Highly recommend!!!
Unbelievably good coffee, and the breakfast sandwich is crazy good (and filling, too). Highly recommend if youre anywhere nearby.
The coffee was good, but the employees are a *little* snooty. The price matched the attitude. Good place to get a cup of joe overall.
My last (1/19/21) experience here was 3.5 stars but Im not changing my original 5 star rating because pre-covid I had a dozen five-star experiences. Ill blame everything on covid right now. My issue with my last visit was the cashier only kind of offered to remake my drink when I told him to hold off until after breakfast (on the plus side the barista was super fast and making my drink before I cashed out), and the espresso drink I did get was scorched, and the bread on the breakfast sandwich tasted not super fresh. The barista happily remade my drink when I told her it tasted scorched but the steamed milk in the second drink also tasted scorched. Ill come back because... pastries
Ordered a chai latte. It was ok, I would suggest something else. Cute spot though
Came in this morning (3/11/2021) for my first visit. Just wanted a double shot with a splash of heavy cream and I was very surprised. Either it’s the barista or their espresso machine, either way best shot of espresso I’ve had.
Beautiful space, friendly staff, great coffee! Enjoyed our visit and there were even a handful of open meters for parking!
The ham n cheese croissant was very tasty. Maria was a nice cup of iced coffee! Was bummed that their cereal coffee was seasonal because it looked so good i wanted to try it. Nice staff. Cute little shop. Worth the visit. Their seasonal selection keeps things spiced up i guess so I can appreciate that. Would stop by again if in town.
Good coffee, quick service and some good baked goods as well.
Fantastic new place in the Gulch. You can access it from the street or Thompson Nashville. Their breakfast bacon/egg quiche-like thing is out of this world. Great beginning of the day. The view from the cafe is also unlike any other in Nashville. It feels like Seattle, SFO or Boston. Feels metropolitan and busy. Nice for people-watching. Will be back.
Kind of snobby and full of hipster vibes. Not my thing. It’s like you walk into a coffee shop in LA. No thanks. Customer service isn’t great. Person working kind of had an attitude.
Great staff, great muffin, espresso a tad bitter. YMMV
Best croissant I have ever had.
Caffe latte was great.
Not cheap, but the coffee is solid in a pinch.
They have amazing pour over coffee here! Its located in a nice upscale part of Nashville.
Were from out of town and were in nashville for work. I searched a coffee place online and this place looks very appealing. Checked it out and when we got the there, the gentlemen did not smile once, not recommend anything. Poor customer service and over priced.
Small coffee shop with a nice selection of drinks and small selection of food. Staff is very friendly and usually have your order out very quickly.
Coffee good, staff can be friendlier
Great place. Nice outdoor dining area.
A bit pricey, parking a challenge, but the coffee and service were EXCELLENT!
Bad service por quality coffee...
Great coffee and very friendly staff.
Killebrew is a swanky little coffee shop with lots of class and style. Attached to a gorgeous Hotel, the ambiance is upscale, yet inviting. The wait staff is down to earth and very happy to talk about any specials that are going on, especially with regards to pastries. Not only is the coffee outstanding here, but the baked goods are unique and flavorful. Highly recommend!
I got a cold brew and a biscuit egg sandwich. Coffee was very good, the sandwich was a bit dry but I still enjoyed it. Its small inside and its attached to a hotel which looks really cool. I sat over in the hotel lobby to eat and drink and no one said anything so I guess thats okay.
This coffee shop has a very European feel to it. It has beautiful tiled floors, cute small round two tops and cushy leather banquettes. There are outlets on the side that you can plug your device into, and even the outlets are attractive! you can enter the cafe both from the street and the lobby of the Thompson hotel, so there is traffic coming from two directions. The staff were very nice and also helpful in describing their food options. You order and pay at the counter and then place your order. when its ready you pick it up at the end of the counter. There are not a lot of places to sit. The front of the coffee shop is all window, which is really nice. You can look out onto 11th avenue and see residents and tourists walking by. I had a hand breakfast tart, which was quite nice. Its a pastry with a baked in egg and some bacon and potato. I had an iced vanilla latte which was really really yummy. My friend had the Earl grey tea, which he said was delicious and he also really enjoyed the ham and cheese croissant. We parked across the street in the parking garage where you can get one hour free parking. We went over just a little bit on our time and we ended up paying $4 for the parking. Thats really not so bad considering how close it is to downtown and how price can be so high for parking there.
All the baked goods are the best with a good coffee program. Do not miss the cinnamon roll or the cookies and biscuits that should draw the lines that Biscuit Love does. Connected to the lobby of the Thompson.
My coffee a little bitter. My roll too expensive.
Great little coffee shop! My wife and I enjoyed the atmosphere and overall design of it. Both of our drinks were delicious. The service was outstanding, everyone was friendly and kind.
Nice, small place inside the Thompson Hotel. I will always support this local business vs ever heading back into Starbucks. Keep it up ☕️👍
Ive been twice now. The first time I ordered a cappuccino and received an 8 ounce latte. I typically dont like that much milk. Also not sure if theyre weighing their output on espresso. I didnt see any scales. The second time I had brunch at the marsh house and got a cappuccino from there. It didnt have any latte art. Just swirled foam. Not super impressed.
The experience can vary widely depending on who is working behind the bar. Some of the baristas are friendly and welcoming, others are standoffish and unwilling to work with customer desires. This variance also comes to quality of drinks, really depends on who is behind the barat its best it is a pleasant, relaxed, place to get an above average espressoAt its worst, a sub par espresso and difficult, standoffish staffBaked goods are all fire tho
Located right off a hotel. I lucked out and found parking at a meter right out front. Ordered a vanilla latte that was great! Not really a chill hangout spot. Lots of business suits in here.
Great coffee and iced chai. Bright and cozy atmosphere. Would recommend.
It was the best coffee I ever had
Coffee was very good here. I ordered a cappuccino and the lady that served me was very friendly and helpful. They don’t have much of a menu, but there are decadent calorie-busting treats and other carb offerings.
I really dont have time to review coffee... if you cant make it theres really no point... then again maybe all the coffee in Nashville is this bad... I got the rudest look when informed the girl that the half n half was empty but maybe because she didnt like me interrupting her conversation with her boyfriend... sorry but my cold coffee was getting colder... I do feel I was being nice with a one star rating... after all it is a coffee shop, its what theyre suppose to do well... I couldnt imagine what the coffee would taste like if they didnt like me...
Very disappointed. Found them on ig and saw the most amazing picture of a cinnamon roll, I pit this on my first place to stop, went in and found out they only sold them on the weekends :(
Awesome service and great coffee
Great little place to get coffee. Not to many coffee places yet in the gulch. Biscuit was good too.
Great staff, and even better coffee!!
I had an iced coffee, hazelnut croissant and chocolate croissant. The coffee was strong and the croissants were quite big. I found the hazelnut croissant was a crunchier version of the chocolate croissant. Both were soft, sweet goodness. It was an expensive place to grab coffee and snacks but thats to be expected in the expensive neighbourhood.
My daughter loved the match tea
Im really into great coffee so this place loses a star as its core product (the coffee) isnt great, but the atmosphere is terrific and the staff is friendly. All in all worth checking out--would just recommend getting an espresso drink instead of a pour over.
Yummy coffee and sweet service staff.
Awesome service!! Attentive, positive, funny,Very clean, Lemon poppy seed scon was amazing, great Coffee. Prices accordingly.
Delish coffee. Great cheery service
Good coffee, cute atmosphere, super expensive though!
Its a small place but they have good coffee
Excellently prepared coffee / espresso! Wonderful pastries. Perfect start to a day on the town.
Amateur baristas....better off making your own cafe from a machine.
Definitely not worth the 4.4 rating. Probably about 3.5 or a 3. Just lowering the average.
Coffee is legit.
Had a breakfast sandwich and banana bread from here and it was good. The shop is also aesthetically pleasing.
The food and coffee is ok. Similar to a Starbucks. They are very wasteful though, all they have are to go cups even if your staying there. They handed us a full set of a plastic fork, spoon, and knife wrapped in a napkin without us even asking. All we got was a croissant which you can eat with your hand.Note to manager - There is no need to say “on the bar” every time you set a drink down. The place is not that big, we can all see where you are setting down the drinks to be picked up.
Was super excited to try this coffee shop but unfortunately both of my iced oat milk lattes had coffee grounds in it. I noticed it right away and went back in and they remade it. I get in my car with my second cup of coffee and same thing. Sadly a waste of 7 dollars because I won’t be drinking this cup either. Have a picture but unsure how to post it.
Solid, decently affordable coffee spot. The cold brew is a great blend and very refreshing.
Coffee just as good as (if not better than) Crema.
Well executed espresso drinks and tasty pastries in a modern space. Recommended!
Great coffee and delicious bite for breakfast.
Best breakfast biscuit sandwich Ive ever had, and a great turmeric chai latte too!
Good coffee not a fan of espresso in a paper cup or 1st being put in a tin and poured
Great drinks and breakfast items for a quick bite
Very nice place. The employees were very nice and helpful.
Great coffee and muffins ! The coffee has a great taste not bitter just smooth and delightful! The muffins make a companion to the coffee.
Great coffee, good service and tasty sandwiches.
Fast service, fair price and the blueberry muffin was amazing
Nice looking place, though small. They had a couple kinds of chai. Masala chai was OK.
Coffee was good but food was not
Amazing coffee, great service, good vibes.
Cinnamon roll was Great! Coffee was average
Delicious drink and super friendly helpful staff
Over priced but delicious
Best Cuban Late ever!!
Outlets in the right place and tasty drinks for the urban coffee/tea snob
Love this place in the GultchA++++
Great coffee!
Enjoyed a rich Espresso.
Excellent service and coffee.
Great coffee, friendly service
Nice place to eat!
Great atmosphere and coffee!
Great Vibe
Wannabe hipster coffee but not actually that great.
Great coffee
The coffee here was truly bad and Ive had coffee from the cafe at the Native American museum in DC, so I know bad coffee.
