Let me tell you something. This by far is the best chicken and biscuit (East Nasty) I have ever eaten. The freaking best. The juicy and seasoned chicken thigh matched with the amazing, flavorful, and Flaky biscuit with the add-on of smooth sausage gravy. Wowzers 🤩A must try….The chronic bacon 🥓 was BombBomb 💣 also.Great food
Decided to come to this location after the seeing the line at the other Nashville location. There was no wait here and omg the food was amazing. Even our picky 9 year old daughter couldn’t get over how good everything was. We decided to come back the next day, and the lady at the counter recognized us. So did another guy - I’m thinking a manager or the owner. And he gave us a cinnamon bun on the house to thank us for coming 2 days in a row. It was so nice and unexpected. And again all the food was amazing - including the cinnamon bun. We will definitely come here anytime we are in Nashville. Highly highly recommend!
This place was great. I have heard good things about Biscuit Love for the past two years. It is usually pretty busy, but we came in 1st thing this time and missed the crowd. The food was great. I recommend to try the Bonuts. Also, their biscuits were soo good. Very flaky and I enjoyed their fruit tea and gravy. This is an essential stop when visiting the Nashville food scene.
Pumpkin latte and pumpkin bonuts! I can back another year (2021) to TN to enjoy the fall here and I had to stop by here again for some wonderful breakfast foods.Excellent food, the tasty Bonuts with blueberries are a nice change from pancakes. The Southern Benny is a good choice for an empty stomach. They have outdoor seating and the decor and feel of the inside is chill and I like the dinner feel of it.The staff for the great service and manager are all friendly and nice, thank you for the meal!
I ordered my meal togo and was very disappointed with my experience. I ordered my meal to-go and my food was completely cold!! The $4 side of cheesy potatoes was the coldest of my items and the container was barely full. They also never gave me my grits. I called to speak with someone and their policy is that you have to send an email for assistance. What kind of customer service is that?! I definitely wont be returning!
Is a nice place, but find it more of a hype than actual value, price just doesnt meet expectations. We order two different meals the chicken with gravy was pretty good but at 15$ for tenders and gravy with biscuit not really sure if i can say was the best i tried. The sec meal left a lot more to wish... I had exact same items better prepared at a way lower pricepoint. The hand made drinks like coffee and juices were good. Item i would not recommend is the SEC meal(might as well add an O and call it SECO(Spanish for dry cos it was )). The chicken with gravy and biscuits was ok. So overall between having to pay for parking, wait in line and pay overprice, I would skip next time and do ruby nextdoor instead or frothy monkey.
Fantastic as always. Second location is just as good as the first. Maybe a little less crowded than the original location.Ordered the bonuts again. So good . Blueberry compote lightens the whole dish up.East nasty for the entree . Delicious. Chicken thigh was fried perfectly. So many layers to the biscuit. One of my favorites in Nashville for sure and go to it everytime we are in town . Need a st louis area location
Im not from the south so I dont eat many biscuits but omg the bonuts were the most amazing thing ever! My husband and I were leery because its a small chain but the food and flow of the restaurant is great. I had the lindstrom (so so good) and my husband had the east nasty (he loved it) but the bonuts we shared were worth driving 9 hours to Nashville. #spreadthelove
Excellent breakfast food. I chose the East Nasty with an added over-easy egg. The biscuit, sausage gravy and fried chicken (juicy) worked together perfectly. The cappuccino was meh - if you need good coffee, wait and hit Fido next door. But if you want a tasty and hearty breakfast, this place is great.
Perfect brunch spot for a casual Sunday we loved the vibe their patio is small but amazing if u find urself a spot as this place has lineup. We enjoyed everything mostly the Bonuts it’s must try the biscuit here is to die for. I especially want to compliment their service and staff they are super friendly, and sooo good with kids. Loved this place will be hanging here often🤩
This is a hit or miss type of eatery. My first time eating here and it was definitely a miss. Cheesy potatoes was the serving for a kids side. For the price you pay..it shouldve been a bigger portion. Apparently, the biscuits is all they have thats half way decent. I think I can do better someplace else.
Food to die for, coffee on point. I had the buttermilk biscuits with sausage & gravy with stabbed eggs yummy. But there is grits and shrimps, chicken and many more delightful foods.
It”s kinda ok. Biscuits are just not that great honestly. Not what I expected. Kinda hard around the edges. Not even on the same scale as mom’s. Service was good. Cherry jam was good. Bacon was good. Gravy too dependent on the sausage for flavor. A lot more sausage than gravy actually. Just not great like I was hoping and have heard.
I love the food here so much I waited outside for 30 minutes and I knew it would be worth it!!! IT WAS! The service was fast and efficient. I look forward to coming back when I return to Nashville!
Always love their food! Its always fresh and inexpensive. Must go to Hillsboro location the best one by far.
Liked the food but definitely room for improvement service wise. I am not a fan of the ordering situation. Theres always a giant line to order and you cant really get more food/another drink because youd have to wait again in the giant line. Food comes relatively quickly but with how busy this place is consistently Id rather have a waitress and give a nice tip that way versus a singular ordering station.
WOW! This place has some of the best Chai Tea I have had. The food was amazing as well! The biscuits are not the ordinary biscuits but they are so unique and amazing. I highly recommend going. Just be aware that there will be a 10-20 minutes wait.
Visited for Labor Day weekend brunch so there was an obvious line but the food was totally worth it! Theres a lot of seating areas and you can bring dogs to the outdoor area. I ordered the Nasty Princess which is the regular Princess with Hot chicken instead (no extra cost for substitution) and it was absolutely delicious! The Hot Chicken was some of the best Ive had in Nashville with a great level of hotness, very crispy skin and tender meat. The sausage gravy was a good consistency and was well-seasoned. The biscuits are not your typical southern buttermilk biscuit, but more of a flaky style. Theyre a bit dry to eat plain but paired well with the hot chicken and gravy. They also have a dessert called the B-roll which is a giant Cinnabon with lots of cream and toppings and great for a sweet tooth. Would totally visit again but Id avoid weekend brunch if youre a local!
For the love of biscuits, go somewhere else, unless you are looking for a 20.00 per person breakfast that will sit like a greasy rock in your stomach all day with a heartburn reminder of your poor choice. Fruit tea, cheese grits are good and the young lady at the register was very nice. I just dont get the hype about this place, the biscuits are pretty flavorless and the edges so crunchy they have a fried appearance. Like no biscuit Ive had.
Delicious food in a new spot. Dont know why it seemed unusual, but patrons wait in line to enter where they order an pay and tip before finding a seat. The coffee was good in their entertaining mugs. I was surprised to see the omelette listed as lighter fare until it arrived. Apparently there is a big difference between a 3- and 2-egg omelette (see photo). But it WAS really delicious. Also surprising - it didnt come with a biscuit! My wife ordered the two egg plate (which did include a biscuit). All in all, it was a great brunch and we will be back.
Friendly staff (we sat up at the coffee bar) and good coffee. Food is good and very flavorful but is overpriced for what you get. Plus its all premade and in warming bins in the kitchen so doesnt come out fresh. The sides come in a very small ramekin sort of bowl and are about three bites of food total.
Amazing food the biscuits were some of the best iv ever had. The grave was great and the chicken was amazing. Ordered sausage as a side and got bacon but the bacon was still very good. Highly recommend. We ordered through door dash so didnt have to wait in line.
Breakfast.Biscuits and sausage gravy was good but not $8.50 good. Glad we tried it to see what all the hype was about, cute place, long lines at both locations, we went to the Hillsborough location, a much shorter line, about 20 minutesish.OH... I must add....IF you do go, you must get the chronic bacon, actually that may be what the hype is all about, that IS worth $4.50. AND they serve fresh squeezed OJ which of course is delish.
Please Biscuit Love come to Florida. This restaurant was on my bucket list. While visiting Tennessee.I am so happy I was able to mark this place off my list.Who cares there is long lines.People it is worth the wait.Had the famous fried biscuit donuts. With the yummy jam on bottom and creamy custard on top.DeliciousAlso tried the biscuits and gravy.Top NotchThe orange juice is freshly squeezed too.You will not be disappointed.Hope you all give it a try.Five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Our first time in and its extremely obvious why so many flock to Biscuit love! The food was amazing... well definitely be back!
What a welcome to Nashville!! I came here for breakfast my first day in. I was actually headed to another brunch spot but saw the line and I do love a good biscuit. I had the East Nasty and a dirty chai latte (had a shot of espresso) and both were so good. Biscuits were super flavorful and flaky. Chicken had a nice crisp to it. Gravy was *chefs kiss*. I was also really pleasantly surprised by the chai latte!! Chai is a go to drink for me, but it’s usually the last minute addition to menus so I’m used to mediocre chai lattes. The one at Biscuit Love is definitely a highlight! And it’s probably the best dirty chai version I’ve had. I have it in mind to go back to pick up a bag of their chai mix before I fly out! They’re seating indoors and the staff are good about sanitizing in between guests. They also remind people in line to wear masks. Make it easy on them and just wear it! Thanks Biscuit Love 💕
Overall, would definitely eat here again, but would not recommend dine in at all until COVID is past if you have a poor immune system. The food was very tasty and the staff went out of their way to help out. Now for some details:I walked to the restaurant from Vanderbilt for lunch. Based on their website where they said they were following COVID recommendations, I felt it should be a safe place to eat. When I got there, they did have a sign up asking patrons to wear masks. They also had a line out the door of over 40 patrons sandwiched in who werent following any kind of distancing and only about 5% of whom had masks. While all of the staff were wearing masks, some had them pulled down with nose exposed.I decided to wait outside and order online, then walk in to pick it up. The order online went smoothly, but when I went in to pick up the food, 10 minutes past the pickup time had passed and still no food. As it turns out, this was entirely my fault as I had accidentally put in the order for their location over a mile away. But the staff took mercy on me and made up my order at this location...So cliff notes:1. Dont eat in if you have a weak immune system - they are always packed.2. If you order online make sure you select the correct location.3. Food is very yummy and worth the wait.
When visitors come to Nashville, this is the first meal I take them too! I fell in love with Biscuit Love three years ago and come back often. The food is always amazing!
We were planning to go to the Pancake Pantry which came highly recommended, but the line was out the door 15 people deep! There was virtually no wait at Biscuit Love. We both enjoyed our biscuit breakfasts. The biscuits are light and airy, more like square croissants, than traditional Cracker Barrel style. The sausage wasnt spicy (thankfully!) and the eggs and sausage gravy very flavorful. Drinks were a little high ($3 for a small Americano coffee) but it is Nashville... I would love to give 5 stars, except there was confusion about our drinks. Our food came faster than our drinks, and I was never given a refill. Otherwise I would highly recommend and definitely return!
Stopped in for a quick Saturday morning breakfast after a nice hike and before hitting the road to head home. We ordered a couple of their most popular biscuit sandwiches the East Nasty (fried chicken biscuit with sausage gravy) and the Princess (hot chicken biscuit). Both sandwiches were really good and service was very quick and friendly. I particularly enjoyed the East Nasty as the gravy was so flavorful and peppery. We ordered a side of the potato casserole but it was nothing extraordinary. Tasty coffees too.
The best fried chicken breakfast Ive ever had. The whole restaurant is amazing. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is fun. We all sampled something different on the menu and everything was delicious. Definitely worth a visit.
Busy busy busy. The line sometimes takes a while but the food and fresh squeezed orange juice are well worth it. Staff is nice and friendly and attentive
Great big biscuits! Prepaid to eat with fork and knife unless u have an extra large mouth. Great taste!
Such a cute space. Great food. Friendly staff. Quick service. Does get pretty busy, so arrive early.
Wow! I ordered the East Nasty and it was so good. The chicken was perfectly breaded and the meat was moist! It was topped with delicious sausage gravy served on a thick biscuit! We got there around 8am on Sunday and there wasn’t a line, but when we left around 9am the line was out the door. Get there early if you don’t want to wait!I was worried it was a tourist trap, but it wasn’t at all! Awesome place, would recommend!
Are at both locations while in town, great food both times. Breakfast sandwiches, B+G, cinnamon rolls, and the round bisquets were all great. Friendly staff as well.
Eh, my expectations were higher due to the popularity of the place. Food was kinda cold once we got it delivered to us (Im assuming cos they were jam packed). And our drinks came like 5 minutes after our food which was strange since usually drinks come before food.I had the Biscuits and gravy. The Biscuits were dry and the gravy had little salt and tasted too much like milk. Idk it was not that enjoyable. My mother-in-law had the S.E.C. and my husband had the Southern Benny and they both enjoyed it. The coffee was the best part!As for seating, we had to get a table assigned to us once we placed our order, which was part of the organization process, I suppose. Idk, the whole experience felt like I was being served at an elementary school lunch hall. 🙃The only reason I gave a 4-star review is becos the interior was very cute AND staff was friendly!Long story short, Im glad I gave the place a chance but probs wont be back.
The atmosphere and food were awesome. I had to go in the exit door because the front entrance wasnt wheelchair accessible. The young lady worker had to ask someone else where I had to enter (shouldnt all staff know this?). I had to wait in the exit area whole my wife ordered with it being so busy there was a lot of traffic. One staff person d is make sure we had a table once my wife went through the line.
I really wanted to like this place but it was such a waste of time and money. I got an egg and cheese biscuit and it was absolutely disgusting and completely bland. Worst $10 spent and an hour wasted. The people were nice though and thats why they got 2 stars.
Herd the hype about this place, waited in line for about 25 min, met some good people and talked alot. I must say this place is not worth the hype. I had the Hot Chicken Biscuit and was not impressed. The breading on the chicken was tasteless and not good. I will the the Bonuts and grits were good but overall not what I was expecting. The biscuit and strawberry preserve was great, I actually bought a jar to bring it home. I more then likely wont be returning, this is one of those places that the hype is totally bigger then the actual taste.
Its pricey, but the food is great. employees are super friendly, and the overall atmosphere is nice. Busy around noon but even then the lines dont take too long. I get an iced chai from here at least once a week!
Got take out on a busy Sunday to avoid the line. Had time slots so we had to wait 50min to even order to go. Parking was a hassle. Had to park a block over in front of the post office. Finally got the food and it was delicious even though it was cold. Sausage gravy is very hearty with a lot of sausage.
Tried the potato casserole and the East Nasty. Both were pretty decent! Definitely filling and despite the initial appearance, the combination of gravy and fried chicken is amazing. What I really liked about Biscuit Love is the water station where you can refill on hydration. It even serves sparkling water!
Pretty good. Very quick service and the food was okay.
I went there with my family after hearing all the hype and overall enjoyed my experience even if a few things keep bothering me.The food was delicious. My wife and I I had the East Nasty and my kids had the French toast. My sandwich was very generous and the chicken was well fried. The sausage gravy was very good. The biscuit, surprisingly enough, was the part I enjoyed the least. It felt like a cake. Having said that, the sandwich was delicious. The French toast was way too sweet and the maple syrup was not that but a maple infused thick sugar syrup. So sweet it was overwhelming. The service was ok and friendly when we interacted with the employees there but it took several times to get their attention and some of our requests were simply ignored as were some of the requests at the table next to us.Overall not a bad experience but I feel like there is room for improvement.
This place is awesome! The food is amazing, also very good Bloody Mary’s.
Pretty pricey for breakfast but it lives up to the hype. The princess sandwich was the bomb. Biscuits are light and delicious.
Amazing brunch spot. The bonuts are great. The are like mini donuts but not as sweet and the cream cheese icing is perfect. The fried chicken, biscuits and gravy are the signature dish. Add an egg to make sure that you feel guilty.Everything here is made in house. Expect lineups to get in, particularly on weekends. Its about a 10 minute wait if the lineup is to the corner of the building. Judge for yourself when the line wraps around the side. There is no table service. You order at the counter, take a number and they deliver your order to your table.
Expect a wait! Of the two locations the one in the Gulch has a much longer wait than this one, you order as you go in and they assign you a table. Such good coffee and amazing food
Yummy yum goodness and their workers are gorgeous and thick as the biscuits they make!love!
Outdoor seating, dog friendly. Fast service and great food.
The biscuits are wonderful but the Bronuts are heavenly! Dont skip the Bronuts!!
When I went I got the biscuit with sausage gravy, cheesy potatoes, cheesy grits and a mimosa. The biscuit and sausage gravy were ok, nothing to rave about. I didn’t like the cheesy potatoes. They were cold and kind of… sweet. Idk it was a little weird. And the cheesy grits were freezing cold when I got them. The mimosa was good though since it was made with freshly squeezed orange juice.
Its basically Cracker Barrel, but branded towards millennials. That doesnt make it bad; but its not worth the hype... or the lines.
Great customer service and the food was delicious! I had the princess - fried chicken with biscuit!! Awesome. Check it out if you are near by!
Dont be alarmed the line moves fairly quick and worth the wait.
Very good breakfast food, typically has much less wait than the Gulch location. The berry biscuit appetizer is delicious.
