My sister and I were visiting Nashville and we had a craving for hot chocolate. We looked up the no.1 and Tempered Fine Chocolates was at the top. Both of us had the hot chocolate, and it was the perfect balance of creaminess and chocolate. Bonus! It came with a piece of cherry chocolate. Great experience and very beautifully decorated inside, it is a great place to hang out!

Great chocolate + whiskey tasting experience. Dan was a gracious and knowledgeable host. Truffles were fire. French press truffle brought a small tear to my eye. I almost let it slip out. But it stayed in.

Great Chocolates and awesome staff. They did local delivery to me several miles away and even accommodated to the date I wanted right before Valentines. The coconut bars and peanut butter mugs were my favorite.

The name says it all. Whats better than chocolate? (not that!) Fine chocolates. I can easily pass up any grocery store chocolate. This a a different experience all together. Everything Ive had here taste like heaven. Once youve had it, anything else taste like sad.

This place has the BEST hot chocolate in town! They melt the inside of their truffles and add cream. Its heavenly. They also have wine and chocolate pairs with fruit which is delicious.

We got there and we were the only ones in there at first. We were served right away! There was only one person working behind the counter. We got 6 truffles to start and all flavors were mediocre except for the lemon lavender which was exquisite. There are several vegan options which is why the filling on some of them were hard rather than smooth and creamy. Lemon Lavendar and Raspberry Cabernet were my favorites, but out of the 10 we tried, those are the only 2 I would get again. They were out of a whiskey I wanted for a spiked coffee and since there was only 1 worker, we waited about 10 minutes to pay our bill since at that time, about 6-8 people were waiting to be served. The location was in a quiet neighborhood and there were a couple other cafés across the street. Could have just been an off day, but we were a little disappointed since it was recommended to us to visit for the truffles and coffee.

Gorgeous chocolate shop with real deal European chocolates and dainties. The sandwich menu also looks delicious, though I tend to stop by for some truffles and a coffee as a treat. Tasty treats, good location. Grab some chocolates and stroll and around Germantown!

Great spot for a light lunch, but it really shines on weekend late nights for the Green Hour with absinthe cocktails. Its very popular and a small space, so dont be surprised if theres a wait. Speedier service would make things easier, but I do understand that a small staff working in a small space means things move more slowly

I bought my lactose intolerant brother-in-law some vegan chocolates from here for Christmas, and he loved them! I tried a few myself and Ive decided that I have to go back sometime for sure. They have some really unique flavors that switch out on a weekly basis. For instance, I tried the lavender champagne truffle special for New Years and it was awesome! Be sure to order ahead if you want vegan though, because there is no guarantee that they will have a variety of vegan to choose from when you go in.

Awesome little New York style bar. Quiet place with wonderful ambiance. Went on a date with my fiancé and had a great time. Our waitress was informative and helpful. The drinks were amazing and it made for a great unplanned date night! Will be returning again!

GREAT chocolates and chocolate infused coffees. Prices seem steep but the ingredients taste fresh and real: for example, the pumpkin cream pie tasted like it was made with real pumpkin! Yummy!

My boyfriend and I stopped by here for lunch earlier today. The sandwiches were divine and the mocha was the best I’ve ever had. I had a chai truffle that is beyond description. We feel like we have never really had great chocolate until today. I highly recommend.

Tempered Chocolate is one of my very favorite spots in Nashville. The inside is so adorable, the chocolates and sandwiches are phenomenal (the sponge candy is OUTSTANDING!). I hosted my sister-in-laws baby shower and the owners and staff just went above and beyond, I cant recommend this place enough!

We went for the green hour and it was amazing. Prices were fairly steep but the atmosphere and quality of everything was top notch, and the server was very friendly and knowledgeable. The chocolates are also very good, on par with Godiva. The absinthe ritual was a very interesting experience.

Best mocha I have ever had. You can watch the friendly barista slowly blend the chocolate and milk while the espresso brews. Smooth, dark, rich flavor. Beautiful, delicious artisanal truffles too. All made on the premises. Cozy environs. A reason to visit Nashville.

We decided to buy 12 truffles after having a drink. We tried what supposed to be a dreamsicle, lemon curd and two other fruit (which I got two of each) which were bad. Filled with MOLD!. I would never buy truffles from this place again. Their drinks were pretty good. My guess is that the encasement its in isnt chilled and the temperature of the bar at night is too humid which is a breeding ground for mold. I am just absolutely disgusted and sick to my stomach..

A great breakfast, lunchtime or late night hang, but my FAVORITE is to sit on their small patio on a Sunday afternoon with a friend and my dog and enjoy a wine + cheese pairing. Its a very calm version of Sunday Funday.

Tempered has wonderful in-house made ...EVERYTHING! Thier chocolates are FAR Superior than anything Ive gotten from commercial stores, yes, including Godiva! Thier Liege Waffles are my absolute favorite, and their staff is always smiling and personable!...I live about 1.5hrs away, and I consider it a treat to be able to stop at Tempered! Out of 5 stars, I give them 6!

I love the idea of a chocolate and whiskey bar with charcuterie more than I liked how things turned out. I ordered a sandwich on a baguette. There was a piece of wilted spinach stuck to the bottom of my sandwich, and overall, the bread was dusted in far too much flour. I would go back, but a similar disappointment would mean my last visit.

One stop shopping for dark chocolate and a glass of red wine. I go here to ward off cancer. So many antioxidants...
