I hope everyone potential customer sees this review. I inquiried about a vehicle here and spoke to Adam. I mentioned trading my Jeep and he immediately seemed interested. I understand trade value and pricing but the way he speaks to customers is an experience I have NEVER delt with before. Right after I questioned how he spoke he immediately tried to apologize and act like he was interested. After not responding to him, he tried playing victim and ridiculed me for offering such price. The vehicle being discussed was valued at $49,000 Kelly blue book. Please do you research and do not give a penny to this dealership.

I would like to share my Stellar experience with Nashville Speed Shop! Adam and Griffin have demonstrated excellent customer service in every way that a business should be done. These guys are serious car enthusiasts and truly care to make the buying and follow thru process as easy as possible.Let me say that I have a very busy work schedule, so it is difficult for me to come see the vehicle during most companies business hours. So when they listed a rare Viper for sale, I was concerned that I would be able to make the time to inspect the vehicle. I called Adam to see what we could work out in my tight schedule and he said No Worries, I can meet you Anytime So he took his personal time on a Sunday, patiently and honestly explained everything there was to know about the car and its history including carfax. Completely transparent on the condition! He let me sleep on my decision overnight without any pressure of selling the car to someone else. The next business day we closed the deal and I have been completely satisfied with my purchase!Now it is three months later and I receive an unexpected call from Adam stating that he has been able to acquire some very desirable accessories (factory soft top/side windows) from the original owner that go with the car, and that I was welcome to come get them at no extra charge! WOW!!! Now that is caring for your customers like you would a friend! Nashville Speed Shop is that special automotive place that I will always remember. On September 17, I send Adam Rottero an e-mail asking if his 1983 280ZX was for sale. Adam responded with Yes and I quickly made an offer. Considering that I live in Dallas, TX, I was buying this car sight unseen. Nashville Speed Shop exceeded all of my expectations and worked tirelessly to make sure I knew this car did not have rust and drove like a dream. Adam sent plenty of pictures, videos, and discussed every detail of this care. It was a huge risk for me, but I knew Adam was a man of integrity. Nashville Speed Shop arranged for my car to be delivered in Dallas, TX (it arrived early) and the car was absolutely PERFECT! It was the car that I had waited 15 years to purchase and Nashville Speed Shop made it happen! Adam sent seat covers as a birthday gift for my purchase. I am a customer for life and I will tell all of my friends about my awesome experience!

We are car carrier company transported the car for this dealership and the check which they provided was not cashed because dealership canceled it before driver deposit it. if they are lying to carriers they will lie to everybody, BE AWARE of this dealership!!!!! person never gets back to you, ignores calls and text massage and as i can see from previous reviews here, we are not the first who been deceived.

Buyer beware from this dealer. Purchased a 2004 Discovery that was merchandised on their website as a great example and the price reflected that.The car showed up and can tell the dealer cut corners in every way they could. Super glued the door trim on. Headliner coming undone. Buttons glued back on. Roof looked to be spray painted black.When asking politely to return the vehicle for a refund, Adam the owner got very hostile and condescending. I purchased my 98 Trans Am about 2 weeks ago. I could not be happier with the quality of the vehicle, it has passed safety and emissions checks with no problem. It is absolutely one of a kind and is also in incredible condition for her age. I have already begun with a high end maintenance plan at my local sports car/classic car dealer and we have found no surprises everything is in great working order!The process was simple and easy. Adam at Nashville Speed shop runs a super hip and unique business. In this crazy time in the world you need trust and you get it from this true Badass kind of cars enthusiast. He loves these cars and it shows. Don’t take my word for it, look at the online photos of the cars he sells! I bought a sweet Silver Vette from him. It was a fantastic buying experience and highly recommend visiting his shop.

Buyer beware. My boyfriend and I purchased a vehicle 2 weeks ago from Adam, unfortunately the car is already requiring expensive mechanical and structural work that was more than “not disclosed” at time of purchase. We kindly asked Adam to allow us to bring the vehicle back for a refund due to being sold a faulty vehicle. He refused, forcing us to obtain an attorney at another great expense. Do not buy from this dealer.

My dealings with Adam during my purchase recently was fantastic. Down to earth, realistic and willing to get the deal done on the customers terms. Also, there was not the normal bs of back and forth on best price, it was, tell me the best price you got from the start, and that is exactly what I got. I checked around online and with friends at local dealerships and was told buy it for that price. Adam also arranged shipping for me, although the shipping was a little higher than we both planned, getting the vehicle here safely in an enclosed trailer was a must due to winter weather. Adam is a great guy who runs hard to produce a name for himself. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him or his business for vehicle needs.

I bought A 2008 BMW 650 and absolutely love it. I’ve had it a year now and have had to do a few normal repairs. New this is a 90,000 dollar car and I couldnt afford that. It’s so nice to see businesses selling cars like this so normal people can buy them and enjoy them. I’ve had classic muscle cars over the years but there’s nothing like the engineering that goes into a car like this. 11 years old and drives and runs perfectly. Thanks for the deal and I can’t Wait for the next one. I almost forgot, they work with a local bank and ship the cars anywhere. Only one suggestion that was my fault would be to ship it enclosed. I went the inexpensive way on an open trailer and the was a little diesel exhaust on it. My fault for cutting corners. A+

Do not buy from this companyI was impressed by the customer service that I received until I had problems with the vehicle. We asked all the right questions regarding the motor, transmission, suspensions, etc since this was a Range Rover we had delivered from this place. It was even listed as an impeccable vehicle with no problems in excellent conditions. We were deceived!From the time that the vehicle was delivered, we have had issues. We paid cash that was direct deposited into Erics account from another state so they were not willing to honor their word regarding the Rover once we contacted them about the repairs of the vehicle within a few days of receiving it. We have had the vehicle for 3 months and have already spent over $3000 for repairs.They even recommended us to take the vehicle to a local shop here and still did not pay for any of the repairs. A shop they told us to take it too. They ignored our calls.I would advise anyone not to order a vehicle from this car lot and definitely dont pay cash for it.Update: month 4 we had to put a motor in......

It’s a unique experience in that you don’t deal with a salesman, then a manager, then a finance guy, etc. From the time you get there you meet the owner and his wife. They were easy to work with and made the buying process easy. The car was well represented and I got a fair price on a unique, hard to find car. Would definitely purchase from here again!

Or tools to work on vehicles?Flew here with a friend from Chicago to purchase a “flawless” BMW M4. While mechanically, the vehicle was sound, aesthetically, the vehicle was very beat up. We received videos and several photos of the vehicle, as you should when buying a car from out of town. Photos and videos were cleverly taken to hide the damage on this vehicle. From rail dust embedded into paint, to body panels misaligned/large paint chips, etc.I work in this business, there are things you just don’t do or say, and he covered them all. He doesn’t seem to know a lot about cars or how they work, but he can talk all day about them.If your expectations are minimal, and you don’t mind being lied to/deceived/taken for a ride, this is the place for you. But if you have half a brain, I’d steer way clear of this place.

I was recently searching for a replacement vehicle and I wasnt in a position where I could spend hours at a dealership wheeling and dealing. I just happened to come across a vehicle being offered at Nashville Speed Shop and I explained my position, what I could spend and asked if they could help. Adam the owner replied immediately and never once made me feel pressured and he never once tried pushing for more. Purchased a 2013 Silverado from Adam. Flew in and drove the truck home. Adam had send pictures and descriptions of everything that was right and wrong with the truck. I took the chance of buying it sight unseen, the truck was highly modified and was a little nervous about it because I did not look at it first. When I did get to the dealership it was exactly as he described. I dont think he could have been anymore up front then he was. I was/am very happy with the purchase and would buy from him again!

Bought a 2000 Volvo V70 here and really had great service. Flew in from New Orleans and Adam, one of the guys, was nice enough to pick me up at the airport. AND he drove me in his Porche 911 convertible. How cool!!I did my research on the car he was selling and knew everything was done with service but Adam made sure to go over the car with me to ensure the car was problem free. The car cosmetically was perfect and arguably the nicest one available in the country in the silver exterior color with tan interior that I wanted. I was happy to pay what I paid. As an aside, I found the inside of their shop to be pretty hip and cool.

I feel as though some of these bad reviews are simply because people didn’t get the typical “dealer experience” from Nashville Speed Shop. Personally, I’m glad I don’t get the usual dealer experience from Adam and his company....it’s one of the many reasons I deal with him and will continue to.Most recently I was on the hunt for a very unique car (Shelby GT350) and Adam helped me for over a month to find the perfect one. And, at the end of the day, he got me the exact car I wanted for less money and with fewer miles than I even hoped for. He was transparent, helpful and communicative the whole time.If you’d rather be hustled by a shady car salesman, then screwed by a finance manager before finally leaving a big box “dealer” with an overpriced car, then Nashville Speed Shop might not be for you. However, I am thrilled to support a local business that operates like a luxury boutique (but with fair and affordable prices).

BUYERS & SELLERS BEWARE!!!I recently sold a car to Adam (Nashville Speed Shop) with a legal binding contract. Negotiated the price, both agreeing on the transaction and Adam told me he would pay for it the next day. Two days passed and no payment. I called Adam and he told me he had been busy from a car show the past weekend and would pay for the car the following day and he would text me when he did so. Three more days passed and no communication and no payment. Then he contacted me offering me $500.00 less than he committed to buying the car with the contract if I would remove his review from his Facebook page. After researching Nashville Speed Shop I found this is not uncommon for this business. This business is NOT BBB accredited. Check out Better Business Bureau reviews.

AVOID THIS PLACE. Unless you want to deal with stereotypical, slimy car dealers, then definitely go here. There is a complete lack of business ethic, and they will disregard what is right to make a sale. The worst experience Ive ever had in regards to car buying. Do not waste your time here! The owner is clueless and a liar. Before flying out from Chicago he assured me the M4 I am looking at is super clean! Long story short I arrive and the bumper is cracked/misfitted. Rust spots on hood and trunk lid. Chips on multiple panels, around $3000-$4000 of paint work... This guy does not inspect or does any maintenance on any of his vehicles. He wanted to keep my deposit and I laughed at him especially when he said he could have just cashed my credit unions check payable to him without me signing it... Total scum.

Terrible customer service and an unprofessional dealer. When I called the person who works at the dealer, I was hung up on. To me, it sounded like only one person handles everything thru a cell phone. I called back and spoke with someone who treated me like I was a kid. I asked the guy if the dealer did any sort of maintenance/condition inspection on the vehicle I was interested in purchasing and heard laughter on the other end of the phone. His reply: its a new car man. Didnt want to schedule a test drive, even though they post on the web that you may call to schedule a test drive today. I dont care if they were giving cars away for free, Id never do business with this place or recommend them to anyone. In my opinion, these folks are amateurs.

After finding a vehicle, I first reached out to Nashville Speed Shop (aka NSS) via the Auto Trader. Adam was quickly responsive via e-mail, within a business day, and let me know I could reach out for more information via phone. Adam was very receptive to via call and texts, keeping in touch quickly. I knew I wanted that particular vehicle so when my schedule didnt work out for me to drive the 4 hours to NSS, he made it possible for me to see it by appointment after the business was closed. The vehicle was as close to immaculate as a used vehicle could be at twelve years old. Adam was absolutely fair in the price and making sure I had everything needed to drive out that day. I would wholeheartedly recommend NSS and definitely do business with them again. Clean, snazzy shop too and a beautiful family!

DO NOT BUY FROM NASHVILLE SPEED SHOP! My wife and I purchased a 2011 JAGUAR XJL SUPERCHARGED CASH $27,000.00 at the end of November. It is FEBRUARY 2 2017 and this damn car needs a BRAND NEW TRANSMISSION and is inoperable. When I called to speak with Adam he politely laughed and advised over and over that the vehicle was AS IS which was already understood and that he had no prior knowledge of mechanical error even though the vehicle displayed that it needed service when I purchased it from him. Adam reassured me that the vehicle was in tip top condition which was a LIE!!! I drove from Birmingham Alabama to Nashville TN to purchase this unique vehicle but I am HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED AND HIGHLY PISSED OFF. This guy has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS and He is a flat out liar. Of I didnt stay so far away id go straight to this damn dealership today and see about his ass because he is out here F******* people over! Screw this poor excuse for a dealership ADAM IS FLAW AND NOT THE REAL PERSON HE PORTRAYS HIMSELF TO BE! I bought a car from them with certain miles, but when the car arrived, it has lower miles than I bought it. When I run Autocheck and Carfax, it showsit had more miles than what it is now. That is bad business tampering with miles. Be aware and cautious from this dealership.

He sold us a lemon!!! He knew what problems this vehicle had & didnt disclose any of it. Instead he lied about everything being fixed & new, which kept us from getting it checked out. Actually, he wouldnt let us get it checked. One week later its in the shop & he is now saying we bought it AS IS… Ok.. who needs there AS IS a week later?! He wouldnt help us get fix. We even tried to get him to pay half of any repairs. Nope he wouldnt budge. Dont BUY AIR FROM THIS PLACE OR GUY!

As a general rule, it is always advised that you test drive and have a pre-purchase inspection of a car before you make the purchase. NSS had a car I was looking for; but, I was unable to test drive or have the car undergo a pre-inspection as I lived out of state. In fact, I purchased the car based on Adams representation that the car was in great condition. When I took possession of the car, everything Adam stated turned out to be one hundred per cent accurate! Also, NSS made the transaction trouble free as well. I would highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from NSS. I will do so the next time I am in the market for a new car!

Don’t buy here!!! Adam, which is the owner threatened my life one night I was shopping for a car and sitting in the car getting a feel for it. Got very irrate til the environment felt unsafe! Ask me to get outta his car and leave his lot. Even after I left his lot, he was marching after me ready to fight meanwhile his wife is screaming “Adam stop, stop!!” As he was marching towards me and I backing up, he reached in his pocket (to get his phone) which I thought he was getting a gun...I fleed somewhere safe near by and stayed til police came. Look at the reviews, ppl are saying the same things about Adam! He’s rude and with someone of his character, I will never spend a dime with him or his company, and wouldn’t recommended you to neither. Lost a customer for life buddy!!!

My experience was insulting. The guy told me he wouldnt pay 5,000 dollars for a custom COBRA making 700 hp. Naw its not a Ferrari but you couldnt even buy the top end of the engine for that.
